Bla bla bla...One of them is only 3%? So, what does this change?
Because 3% of the fruits in the bag are apples automatically 97% are oranges?

Add them all Franky, I'm sure you're smart enough for that, let's see the results for them, I'm sure since you're so knowledgeable about them you will have no problem identifying every single one of those facilities from all miners, Riot, Hut8, Bitdigital, Core, Mara, Hive and so on and on, or do you want some help with them?
Till you prove the fact that the rest of the 97% are all of them tied to the grid it's just one of your useless verbal diarrhea.

I don't know much about the industry but those I know that are mining, or in the business at least, are trying it out on their own and are very aware they could actually make more if they joined "the grid" or some of the major pools but they simply don't.

It's in fact a point of pride to make it on their own.

If I understand the content of this comment Smiley

SOLANA,
You mean, a coin whose blockchain went offline more than once a few days ago?  Grin
All the POS coins are just bullshit

Sorry to say but I couldn't agree more. I will admit first of all, it took me a few years to finally change my mind about Ethereum itself. The way the whole split thing with classic ground my gears so badly I just labeled it scam outright.

But fine they turned the ship around.

But all the other ETH killers don't even have half the properness to do the right thing if shit hits fan and Solana is just another clone with more money.
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC & ETH Trends for the week on: June 07, 2022, 09:11:06 AM
It will be a very choppy month in my opinion. Even stock market is getting very choppy. Right now we are waiting on the inflation numbers and then we listen to the hints we get if the fed will raise rates or not.

If the numbers are not too far off from expected then we will just chop around. Unless we get a very low or high number which will make the fed either stop hiking or hike 75bps points or something crazy, then we will get wild swings.

However it might trade sideways until the end of Summer like 2018.

We say "even stock market" but aren't we going to admit it's "because stock market"?

All the past weeks of red candles is a mirror of stocks and Monday went to 31k was also the stock market revival, which didn't last dropping today and guess what, Bitcoin also dropped.

What I'm not happy is ETH dropping more than BTC. I thought whales were buying up.

Site on and off down for me, keep trying til it works but definitely problematic.

You have a point there. Maybe I'm just very slow on adding chips since 500 is the highest chip available on the freeroll. Sweetlou is not active much on the daily wager since I rarely see him on the list of winners in the daily and hourly winner but before I always see him compete even on the daily free roll event of Blackjack.fun. I rarely play now in the casino since the BTC price keeps changing price ups and down while the only currency allowed to play on bgaming rocket dice and roulette is only BTC. Can't afford to wager now my BTC.  Cry

Just start betting a minute before the end. I tried it and sort of worked but simply have no patience to keep trying until someone else gives up. Sweetlou yeah always on the freeroll. Good for him Wink

You know you get your sig payments in BTC and low price means MORE BTC. Why not use that to wager? What do you think guys like me are doing lol

3106  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: June 07, 2022, 06:01:37 AM
You didn't understand, or didn't get neither the context nor the point. Are you familiar with the TRUE ON-CHAIN casino called DirectBet?

But because as the network became more congested, blocks full, fees high, it became impractical to use DirectBet. BUT, what if a casino like DirectBet was built on top of the Lightning Network? I believe it might also attract, and give users an incentive to use Lightning.

I don't think there is any true gambler who was around the forum in the past 4 years who doesn't know directbet, but I guess I didn't get what you meant from before because I thought you were talking about Lightning as an enabler for no-KYC. But you're actually saying no-KYC as the gateway to Lightning adoption (then I agree, but no-KYC is the gateway for BTC adoption and people still end up using KYC custodials because of convenience and ease of use).

But now you made it clear although in my mind it makes it harder for a casino to use Lightning  AND offer no KYC cause I always thought opening channels makes you more identifiable. Bear in mind I know very little about it as never used it.
3107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: June 06, 2022, 10:11:04 AM
Still confusing with market situation nowadays but looks have good chance after bitcoin reaching above $31,000 from lowest price last day under $29,600. Any speculative with bitcoin back reach higher price or only stuck on $31,000 before bitcoin going back drop price, Last several time higher price reached by bitcoin only on $32,000 before back drop under $29,000 and repeat several time. Looks have been as daily activities with bitcoin after reaching above $31,000 will back drop and stuck again under $29,000.

We can't get chance take profit on altcoin if bitcoin not stable reach higher price, or if not reaching above $32,000 maybe bitcoin can stable and not going dump drastically like last several time happend.

Which we all know Bitcoin does from time to time, for weeks and months in between cycles, followed by very sharp movements to again keep in a small range for weeks and months again.

I know people say it's accumulation time but I also feel like this is when the whales just want to keep scalping for 1-2% gains daily (imagine doing it on leverage and then doubling or even tripling the holdings). That's accelerated accumulation for those with whale bags.
3108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 06, 2022, 08:01:43 AM
If the price range was a bit further off, then I would be able to say no clearly, I still said no but I believe that when the price is 1815, and the question "will it be under 1800", that could happen in 2 minutes, like at any moment right now. This is why I am not entirely sure if that would be a good idea or not to actually say it won't drop that much. If the question was 1500 for example, I would say that no it would not go under that, it looks quite low for what it is right now and the price would be great, but at the end of the day, we are going to end up seeing 1800 or under at certain times for sure.

Yeah it was just under 1800 yesterday but you're right it's kind of pointless to say whether or not it'll drop or if it does, how much it'll drop. Everything is just so hard to predict in crypto.

We can even talk about low point never breaking past the previous ATH as support (which makes $1400 the support) but we've all seen crypto surprise us again and again.

All I can say is, if it does fall below $1400, there will be all kinds of fear.
3109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 06, 2022, 06:14:44 AM
Are you serious about Ronald Koeman being a big mess for Barcelona?
Let's see based on match statistics
Quote
3. Barcelona - 38 MP - 24 W - 7 D - 7 L - 2020-21
2. Barcelona - 38 MP - 21 W - 10 D - 7 L - 2021-22

Ronald Koeman only led barcelona for 1.2 years, there was not much he could do because at that time the club had financial problems. At least Koeman win the Copa del Rey title for Barcelona.

Not much has changed from last season's barcelona to this time, even if look at the victory, last season's barcelona wins are a bit more than this season. It's just that Atletico Madrid have play badly this season so that Barcelona can get 2nd place this season.

I appreciate Koeman's performance and it's not too bad.
But I'm sure Barcelona will win more titles in the hands of the new coach Xavi.

Koeman's problem wasn't about his points or his wins, it was that he was one of the reasons we were getting worse and on the slide. His personality just wasn't suited. He lowered morale and made the club more toxic.

Remember your statistics should also match up with the resources on the field. We didn't have Messi to save our ass this season, we didn't even have Griezmann anymore, and yes we won fewer points BUT we are back to playing to our old style, we are back to having confidence, we are not getting red carded all over the place anymore, our previously disabled players like Dembele is back to his talented best, we beat Real Madrid... Xavi improved morale and positivity.

And we did that with the same financial problems.

So you're ignoring the fact that two different Barcelonas played last and this season, despite more than half of the squad being the same. One was negative and toxic, this current one is hopeful and enthusiastic.

Hope Spain doesn't try to come up with a funnier joke.
That was really embarrassing from England. Yes, Hungary is playing solid football but England has a squad so full of stars that they just can't loose against third tier teams. If they managed to snatch a point it would be blunder but loosing without really threatening at any point of the match is just playing with your supporters nerves and loosing reputation.

Exactly. I know some people are saying they're just not taking it seriously and I can believe this for SOME players but that squad is full of stars who are supposedly professional about doing a job no matter the stakes.

Spain did the blunder (a draw as you said) but that at least was Czech who I feel is much better than Hungary AND scored 2 goals. To just not attack like England did is making your finalist tag a shame.

I guess I was asking for it saying for Spain not to be funnier lol
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 05, 2022, 12:23:42 PM
Holy f*ck is all I can say about the results of the yesterday games,I lost my bet on Croatia but the more I was surprised from the lost game of France as I had put a lot of money over them (in crypto). Then Holland destroyed Belgium 1-4 which was also an unexpected results for most of the people, only a few people got any points from yesterday games.I am starting to believe 100% that the big teams do not care much about this tournament and we will continue to see a lot of upset results.Let's see what happen in today games.

Not sure honestly which is worse for me. Spain not able to win or France losing or England losing? I mean, we all kinda knew that this whole tournament would be full of surprises, but Spain sort of at least had an excuse with a lot of experimental players but Englang losing with supposedly their best squad? Why is the media so kind to them I don't get it.

Even if for fun to lose to Hungary is not a good look.

Any big bets this weekend?

Clubtalk radio will be going live for Cup of Nations tournament which has already kicked off earlier in the week if I am not mistaken.
You can tune in when they begin for the first match of their broadcast:
hungry vs england and then Italy vs germany later on.
They are llve 4:45pm UK time.

England really dropped the ball yesterday didn't it Smiley

I am looking today to place some bets on Spain and Portugal since they look like they consider this competition seriously enough and both have very long benches which should help in this crammed format where team play ever couple of days.

The whole lineup was so full of stars, almost the entire team on the lineup were guys who won champions league or trophies in the recent season and still they lost to Hungary (the same Hungarian star IIRC who also played good Euro football).

What a joke this squad and our entire pool managed to pick them lol

Hope Spain doesn't try to come up with a funnier joke.

It’s very hard to win that freeroll because some user probably using script or bot to make a continuos bet in fast phase. I remember participating once and suddenly 2 to 4 users keep winning more than 20k chips per seconds without any loss. I loss my eagerness to participate after that give that weekends free roll to them. There is no way to beat em unless you can bet as fast as them without margin of error.  Cheesy

I remember me and Sweetlou battling it out in the last minute or so. It's not a bot you can't do yourself anyway. All-in and win twice and you have 40k in 10 seconds. 1/4 times possible why not?

But if you had a bot do that with 4 players, that more or less guarantees you a win every freeroll yeah.

Well adding a few rules would be better than removing this tournament because this tournament is one way to attract attention
Or maybe go back to the previous suggestion each participant needs to buy a ticket to join total prize pool + bonus will be a prize, what do you think?

I agree. Buy tickets makes it not a freeroll though.

I say wager to win tickets. Like if you placed in Top 20 in the hourly, that's your ticket.

@Poker Player it's been more than profitable for me since unlocking 1BTC wager reward. It's simple math really, 35 mbtc wager a week (7x5) to get 1 mbtc that's a 3% cashback on 0.28% house edge Wink

Loads of news coming out about the UCL final in Paris, what a fiasco, they should just punish France and never let them host another final.

Anyway though I'm also reading that the next season is going to be the last in the current format.

I don't think we can blame everything on France, though they did seem to handle it badly there are likely a lot of factors involved here. Everyone is telling a different story and I'm sure there's truth in bits of many of them but many sources also have their biases. From what I understand is fans - could have been Liverpool, Madrid or even neutrals - were storming the stadium, many climbing over the fences to get in without tickets. It seems that some fans had probably bought fake tickets from scammers as well, so that probably added a whole other issue with very annoyed fans having paid exorbitant amounts to touts for fake tickets having to be turned away from the ground and I'm sure they were reluctant to leave as I would be. There are lots of videos of many people storming the grounds trying to get in but it's not clear exactly what sort of fans they were though. In some of the videos I've watched about it it's claimed a lot of people storming the grounds were actually African immigrants which could be true, though there are obviously biases on both sides. The racists and anti-immigrant mouthpieces will jump on that but on the flip-side the cowardly mainstream media often ignore the facts and the politicians try to downplay the situation and blame others. It seems the police were very heavy handed but in these sorts of situations the police politely asking them to refrain or disperse usually doesn't cut it so further measures are needed. With that being said, this sort sort of stuff happens whenever pissed up football fans go aboard (and it applies to all clubs and nationalities) and lets not forget ticketless Man United fans stormed their own ground a season or two ago which also caused a delay in the fixture. I'm sure there will be a full investigation but regardless of the outcome hopefully everyone can learn from it and further measures are put in place to stop things like this from happening in the future.

For sure it's not all of France's blame, but they did handle it badly and the quotes I read were what I would say was almost racist. It's always wrong to blame the fans (even if it's their fault I guess) but in this case in the pictures I saw that older men and young children were crying and well, even if I only saw 1 picture it was bad, this was many pictures and many accounts.

I also saw leea posted in SB thread about some video posted by locals sneaking into the stadium for fun and laughing at the fans stuck outside, if it's the same video I saw, the video clearly shows the guy doing it, going under turnstile and laughing and police don't do anything, they just focus on the red shirts.

So I think the people you mentioned could be the same as this African immigrant guy (who speaks French) and he is also seen in other videos where he says he is in Syria, firing of AK47s and laughing.

So French, not clear which side supports, but just there to do trouble and they were being let in.

I always say when something goes wrong, it's not one person's fault. But the Paris people wanted to host the final, they didn't prepare enough, and you pay for the rights and the responsibility.

Anyway yes, terrible terrible, they should have let us Barca fans host it so we could boo Real the whole game lol.

Anyone paying attention to this week's Freeroll list? Looks like we lost one of our weekly Freerolls with a 2mbtc prize every Saturday
It should be 2 days before it starts 35 tables are full but I don't see it on this week's list, has it been removed/discontinued?
or maybe the admin forgot to add it too bad if it's really deleted  Undecided

Played a few freerolls, not for me. Same people playing it anyway, who don't really need it lol

So no I won't miss it if it's gone, probably good to bring it back later but have a way for newbies to "earn" tickets into it, maybe 1 type with 7-day old accounts only, another for those who've made a deposit, another for regulars. Keep them all separate I would say but maybe now they're focusing on player growth first. IM experience freerolls don't really attract loyal players.

Ah so there are definitely people betting more BTC then! I actually reduce it weird right? But that is because I got most of my current BTC at a high USD price and so I am essentially losing more than the current value.

Why's that weird? Because I also lowered it when BTC goes to new ATH lol

The 3 buttons never seem to understand I like to bet 0.11 or 0.22 or 0.33 actually though, maybe nice to suggest a memory feature.
There's nothing wrong with that sometimes I do the same when I don't have any plans on making any deposits for quite a while.

About the three buttons it's based on your bet amounts within the last 30 days that's why it barely moves so you just have to be more consistent with your betting size or have a fixed betting amount in order for the buttons to slowly adjust.

Me neither. I'm betting a lot less now. A lot less frequently, same amounts but on the lower side of the numbers I posted. Like I would even be betting 1.11 or 2.22 back in the near ATH range. A bit because football is over for leagues but definitely more because I don't want to lose more BTC when prices are low (which again doesn't make sense lol).

I have been betting 0.22 and 0.11 like over 4 or 5 months actually. The button values have never changed. I meant a memory feature like, it kept the last bet as one of the button would be cool.
3120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: June 03, 2022, 05:52:57 AM
As debated, what if a casino, or an exchange was built on top of Lightning and offered NO KYC as a unique selling proposition? I believe it might be something many people in the community would like.

I get what you're saying but why is No KYC the proposition for Lightning and not for on-chain? If an exchange or casino is regulated, it won't matter if they're using Layer 1/2/3 or whatever, they can't promise no KYC.

Maybe I'm not understanding why this also helps sell L2 though. When L1 already by default doesn't need KYC, that's been the entire USP of using on-chain non custodial services...
