Yes, my account has not been completely banned.
Your account has completely been banned and you will never be able to post in the forum.
According to modlog, mon73 has been nuked.

When someone is nuked, all the posts are deleted and the account is permanently banned.

And note that you are evading the ban. You are not allowed to post outside the meta board.
You have made a post in services board.
3102  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Step 4: Backup Wallet on: August 21, 2021, 09:51:22 PM
Could you try to reinstall the wallet and then make sure the antivirus is turn off before you install it again.
I uninstalled Armory and installed it again (on windows 7). Nothing changed. "Create paper backup" button in step 4 didn't  work.
I also tried that on another computer with windows 10. It worked fine.

I'm not sure, but it seems that the problem was related to using an outdated version of windows.
3103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why people should be using SegWit addresses on: August 21, 2021, 08:45:42 PM
Savings when sending from a nested SegWit address (3...) compared to a normal legacy address (1...) are 26% +.
Savings when sending from a native SegWit address (bc1q...) compared to a normal legacy address (1...) are 38% +.
Depending on the number of inputs to the address, savings are variable, with a higher number of inputs saving even more in percentages.
The percentage of fee reduction depends on number of outputs as well. With higher number of outputs, the percentage of fee reduction decreases.

Example:
1 legacy input and 50 outputs -----> 1858 vbytes.
1 nested segwit input and 50 outputs  -----> 1701 vbytes (8% decrease)
1 native segwit input and 50 outputs  -----> 1678 vbytes (9% decrease)

P.S.
I used bitcoindata.science (a tool provided by bitmover) for calculations.
3104  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I have a multibit wallet and I don't see any funds on: August 21, 2021, 04:14:32 PM
I have downloaded electrum etc.  I'm having difficulty in importing the bitcoin cash into the wallet from Blockchain.com  Any suggestions....again?  :-)
Electrum only supports bitcoin and cannot be used for claiming its forks.
For Bitcoin Cash, you need a wallet supporting it. As already said in my previous reply, I recommend you to use Electron cash.
In Electron cash, create a new wallet, select "Import Bitcoin Cash addresses or private keys" and after that enter your private keys.
3105  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Step 4: Backup Wallet on: August 21, 2021, 02:37:15 PM
It works at my end and I'm using Armory version 0.96.5.
I just tested it again. I am also using the version 0.96.5 and the "single sheet (recommended)" option is checked. "Create paper backup" option doesn't work.
The button works fine if I create the wallet and backup the wallet after that. But It doesn't work in step 4 when I am creating the wallet. I can't figure out what's the problem at my end. It's weird.
3106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck transaction fee’s too low on: August 21, 2021, 12:20:31 AM
I would say I’m in some sort of rush for the money, but how long do you think it could take?
It's impossible to say the exact time. But I expect your transaction to be confirmed in the next 2 hours and at the worst case in the next 24 hours.

I’ve heard of resending the tx with a higher fee but I emptied my wallet so there’s nothing in there to resend Sad
If a transaction has been flagged as RBF (Replaceable by fee), it can be replaced by a new one paying a higher fee.
Unfortunately, your transaction hasn't been flagged as RBF and cannot be replaced.

Edit: Just noticed your transaction has been confirmed.
3107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck transaction fee’s too low on: August 20, 2021, 10:48:46 PM
First of all, note that no miner can help you. Transactions are selected by mining pools not miners.

The transaction in question has an unconfirmed parent and that's why it's stuck.
The parent transaction has paid 2 sat/vbyte as transaction fee and is now about at 6 vMB from the tip. As long as it is unconfirmed, your transaction can't be confirmed.

If you are not in hurry, just wait. I don't think your transaction takes a long time to get confirmed.

If you are in hurry and have control over 3NkzXzxsqWJLunRr82AJsRU9HTZjBUG215 (means that it has been generated on a noncustodial wallet and you can spend from it), a solution is to implement CPFP.
In order to do so, you need to spend the unconfirmed output to another address (which can be your own address) with a high fee.

Currently, for a fast confirmation, 6 sat/vbyte is needed.
If you make a new transaction with 1 input and 1 output, it will be about 130 vbytes and the total virtual size of transactions (your transaction, its parent and the new one) will be 2231 vbytes.
Assuming 6 sat/vbyte is needed for a fast confirmation, the total fee should be 13386 satoshi. 4972 satoshi has already been paid and 8414 satoshi should be paid in the new transaction.

So, If you make a new transaction paying 65 sat/vbyte, your transaction will likely be confirmed in the next block.
Note that the required fee is dynamic and can change over time.

As already said, if you are not in hurry, there is no need to waste money on fee and just wait.

3108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: please advice about bitcoin core wallet issue ... "input already spent" on: August 20, 2021, 08:28:02 PM
I must cancel transaction and try again and again until core wallet doesnt pick "spent" input...
Why don't you use coin control feature?
You can click on "Inputs" when making a transaction and select the UTXOs you want to spend.

If you don't see "Inputs" button, click on "Setting" at top of the window. After that, select "Wallet" and then check "Enable coin control features".

............but that will take weeks to finish.
The only solution is to use SPV wallets like electrum, unless you insist on running your own node.
In SPV wallets, you don't have to download the blockchain.
3109  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Step 4: Backup Wallet on: August 20, 2021, 07:10:00 PM
I just tried to create a new wallet and experienced a same issue. "Create Paper Backup" button didn't work when creating the wallet and I don't know why is that.

Anyways, you are able to create the backup after creating the wallet too.
In Step 4, click on "Finish" button, so your wallet is created. After that, click on "Wallet Properties" and then select "Backup this wallet". In the new window, click on "Make Paper Backup".
Armory will show you the root key along with the QR code.

It should be noted that the Armory root key is not compatible with other wallets and you will always rely on Armory for recovering your wallet.
3110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have copyright? on: August 19, 2021, 09:32:57 AM
I think you should be able to use bitcoin logo without any problem.
The logo was posted for the first time here on this forum (Click here to visit the topic). The logo creator has allowed anyone to use it.

Note that any version other than the original logo may be protected by copyright.
3111  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: August 19, 2021, 08:33:37 AM
User ebi_javanmard has 18 deleted posts on modlog (which I think is from the past week), but BPIP shows only 4 posts deleted by moderators.
I just refreshed the profile and now it shows 12 deleted posts. 6 deleted posts are still missing.

3112  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Lost bitcoins - Transferring from android to iOS (Both wallets from same seed) on: August 18, 2021, 09:25:03 PM
And leads me to thinking sending coins from yourself (android) to yourself (iPhone) leads to the seed not being updated on the changes on the iPhone after and the coins being sent to another address.
The seed phrase doesn't need to be updated. Your seed phrase can generate all your addresses (The addresses you have used so far, the addresses you will use in future and all your change addresses).

Could these private keys be hiding the coins or would the balance then be correct?
That means your wallet has generated 9 private keys (and 9 addresses) so far.
The total balance of those 9 addresses is 0.000X BTC.
3113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: send crypto from existing paper wallet on: August 18, 2021, 09:08:56 PM
------I believe the paper wallet private key will remain offline and yet I will be able to spend from it.
Right. In this way, the private key will remain offline and it will be 100% safe even if the remaining balance isn't sent to a new address.
But with using the same change address as the paper wallet address, you may damage your privacy.
In my opinion, the best is to create a new paper wallet before making the transaction and use it as the change address.
3114  Other / Meta / Re: Creating فارسی (Persian) Sub-Board under Local Board on: August 18, 2021, 08:23:42 PM
Absorb my attention to this topic? or concentrate on the one and one Persian speaking thread in the forum?
As long as the Persian local thread isn't active enough, I don't think anything can be achieved in this thread.

The local thread should become more active in a normal way. If you ask people on social medias to join the forum just to make the local thread more active (as it seems you intend to do it and encourage others to do so), that will probably lead to spam. If there's spam, be sure it will have a negative effect. Note that I'm not saying you shouldn't introduce the forum to others. All new users are welcomed. But it's not a good idea to ask people to register to the forum just to make a thread active while they don't have anything to say. Introduce the forum to others because there are lots of helpful content here, because they can get the answer to their questions, not just because you want the Persian local thread to be active.

There's a so long way to convince theymos to add Persian board. There are some local threads with much more activity that still don't have their separate board.

Also, you broke the rules one more time.
It's not allowed to make multiple posts in a row.
3115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: send crypto from existing paper wallet on: August 18, 2021, 07:41:38 PM
I think the safest and easiest way for bitcoin imports is probably to use electrum to import the private keys.
The easiest way is to create a new wallet on electrum, import the private key(s) and spend the fund.
The safest way is to create two wallets. One offline wallet that contains the private key on an air-gapped device and one watch-only wallet on an online device. The unsigned transaction is created on the online wallet. After that, it is signed on the offline wallet and then it is broadcast using the online device.
3116  Other / Meta / Re: Creating فارسی (Persian) Sub-Board under Local Board on: August 18, 2021, 07:01:14 PM
Have you access to create new topics in  Other languages/locations board ?

Because I as a newbie have no access for that, So if you have access can we arrange to create some more important topics for persian community to start?
Even if someone is able to do so, it's not allowed to create a new topic in Persian there.
Persian has its own local thread and anyone who creates a new Persian topic in Other languages/locations board and outside of Persian local thread will be banned.
Click here for more information about the rule.
3117  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Backing up and restoring Electrum Portable on: August 17, 2021, 07:14:43 PM
By paraphrase, you are referring to the password I'm typing each time I open the wallet, right?
No, that's your password and is used for encrypting your keys locally. You don't need that password if you recover the wallet using your seed phrase.
Passphrase is different from password. Passphrase is extra words or characters added to the seed phrase. If you add a passphrase to your seed phrase, your wallet will generate entirely different keys.

In electrum, when you create a new wallet and generate a seed phrase, you can click on "Options" and check "Extend this seed with custom words" to add a passphrase to your seed phrase.
If you didn't do so when generating the wallet, there is no passphrase and the seed phrase is enough for recovering the wallet.
3118  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Backing up and restoring Electrum Portable on: August 17, 2021, 06:33:49 PM
If you haven't extended your seed phrase (the series of 12 words) with extra words (passphrase), that's enough for recovering your wallet.
Note that the wallet file includes all your keys, but if you have the seed phrase (+ passphrase, if there's any), they all can be derived from your seed phrase and you don't need the wallet file for recovering the wallet.
3119  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Lost bitcoins - Transferring from android to iOS (Both wallets from same seed) on: August 17, 2021, 01:44:51 PM
It also could be a glitch in the Mycelium wallet if they were supposed to be recoverable from the seed.
It's not a glitch.
If you have the correct seed phrase (+ passphrase, if there's any), you can easily recover your fund.
Not only on mycelium, the seed can be imported into any other wallet that support BIP39 seeds.

You already said that both of your wallets (the android one and IOS one) had a same seed phrase.
If you have added a passphrase to your seed phrase, as stated by nc50lc, you need that too.
3120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unable to sent btc from blockchain on: August 16, 2021, 11:03:15 AM
Do you have a backup seed?
OP is trying to transfer the fund from the trading account.
Their trading account works same as centralized exchanges and the fund stuck there is not backed up by the seed phrase.

If OP is unable to transfer the fund from the trading account, the only think he/she can do is to contact their support.
