3121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The best way to convert Bitcoin into real money on: August 24, 2020, 10:30:33 PM
In every country, there is a local wallet that supported cryptocurrency, as long as crypto didn't ban in your place. Then, it is easy to convert Bitcoin into cash. I don't how LocalBitcoins use since most commonly used here in our country is (Coins.ph) the custodian crypto wallet that implies full verification of KYC. If you're ready with KYC verification, this custodial wallet is best for you of converting cash. But how about those countries that restricted to use crypto? Just like Bangladesh as I heard. Probably, the Bitcoin ATM machine is the best for them or P2P exchange.

Binance is good tho, the same to BestChange that directly send to your bank account. The rest of OP gave I didn't agree with converting Bitcoin to fiat.
3122  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Fake Electrum version 4.0 and hardware wallets on: August 24, 2020, 10:07:35 PM
Is someone here who did it accidentally (or on purpose) to tell us if his hardware wallet protected (or not) his coins?
The hardware wallet will indeed protect your coins.
I tend to agree with this, and this was explained on the blog of the Trezor wallet. " Fight Phishing with Trezor "

But usually, as I have heard, the clone wallet or phishing wallet like installing a fake version of the electrum didn't have any malware infection in your device, but the problem is the revise the code. When you make a transaction it will automatically send to their Bitcoin address and the reason for losing your fund.

In this case, to avoid that matter. Study of how to verify the authenticity every time you have to download and install any version of the wallet. Learn the PGP stuff.
3123  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: ELECTRUM WALLET btc 0.001525 transaction reduced balance from 0.011 to 0.009475 on: August 24, 2020, 09:16:19 PM

This is the transaction info I got. I read it maybe due to me having 2fa enabled, is that true?
It has explained very well above.

In addition, the mempool last 4 hours was heavily congested and might the reason too the fee was ridiculously high, the fee is vary on the status of mempool. I always check this site every time when I want to have a transaction. It was expected to have a high fee if Bitcoin mempool is congested.

Plus, the automatically additional high fee an 2FA enable, yes, it may have additional security feature but it is also have additional fee everytime you had transaction.

3125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders have an opportunity to earn interest due to cred partnership on: August 23, 2020, 11:33:06 PM
IMO, probably 100 percent, not unless if they can offer us good collateral which we can use while we continue our job and theirs also, but what collateral could it be? I somehow consider it as loan not lend, trust issue of course it is. There will always risk on it, it might a doubled-edge sword that has a huge impact when were loose.

Scammer's targets always are small scale holders but huge in a quantity equivalent to a huge amount of cryptocurrency. Therefore, this is a very crucial thing.
3126  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic outlook and your life for 2021 poll on: August 23, 2020, 11:01:37 PM
It could be a negative transition, vaccines can cure but the side effects are still on the process even it has gone through the phase 3 trial and it also depends on the Trade Industry.  I think only North Korea is dependent when it comes to manpower.

My possible outlook for next year might be the economy will only turn positive in the year 2021 and onwards when a government has its radical decision and a concrete plan to its Economic growth.

All we wait to see the result of the flattening curve and through the graph shows the infected people will decrease and the recoveries will increase and no one will get positive, that insight might we considered we are become back in normal life
3127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoins before the upcoming banking crisis states author of Rich Dad Poor D on: August 23, 2020, 10:37:10 PM
IMO, I will consider Roberts' advice as realistic advice, just because nobody knows what's gonna happen next.

Besides fiat can't' level its value to cryptocurrency and the only crypto is the worth investment at the moment. If the banking crisis uprises to different countries then it is difficult to find a worthy investment that only yourself can take care of it.

This could belong to the awareness of those people who didn't know yet Bitcoin in their country. All Robert Kiyosaki's books are very interesting to read and this might have an influence to the people who want to learn Bitcoin and the technology behind it.
3128  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japan Plans To Ban Cryptocurrency From Coincheck Hack on: August 23, 2020, 10:06:45 PM
They should chase where the rest of the stolen funds are. I agree that this is just a tip of the iceberg and I think that Takayoshi Doi is very sloppy by knowingly acquiring those crypto from the black market and then setting up a front to hide it. Very shady move indeed.

And still the question is where are the rest? If they track Takayoshi Doi getting it from someone in the dark web then they can definitely identify the source.

A lot of it is long, long gone. I followed it at the time and the hacker was seriously brazen and was not hanging around. They were laundering it through services who refused to confiscate it, or just claimed not to particularly care. They also had some sort of tor shopfront selling it at a deep discount.
I have this question bothered in mind, do you think if the said amounts are sold, should the buyer be considered as one of the alleged suspects? And if the authorities investigate that case and trace the transactions made, how can they find it? There are too many ways toa hide their identity and might they will use dark web users are slick, and every minute addresses change or even in Bitcoin mixer.

Anyway, IMO, banning cryptocurrency in Japan will not help to them to derecrease scammers. Believe me, they don't ban crypto on japan.
3129  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: August 23, 2020, 09:34:35 PM
After pandemic, it's clear that our economy will feel precision and there are too many people are also affected not only jobless people, also those small businesses are also affected. It might the only option that the government should do is to reopen the business that was temporarily closed and divide the employee's workday by half, so that the employment rate would slowly rise until the vaccine is released and ready to be used.

Worrying sign, maybe. Not only in the US but also in other countries. It's worldwide and I think all of us has been suffered and the war of the pandemic was not yet end.
3130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Recover Lost Chainlink on: August 22, 2020, 10:17:53 AM
I sent tokens to the address which i think does not exist and I mis spelled it
I might suspect that this isn't the reason. You might copy-paste the wrong address. Chainlink address is an ERC20 wallet and you store it on MEW address or in hardware wallet which is Ledger Nano S. If the address were lack or miss-spelled at least 1 letter or number it shows error and it might not proceed any transaction.

If you're concerned is to recover your lost chainlink, my answer is no. Once it is completed, then, it is a reversible transaction. If you have no access to the wallet where you've sent your link token, the chances of retrieving it are having positive.
3131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: August 22, 2020, 09:53:50 AM
At least we saw now that this De-Fi project has been delivered the live product and has used it in the ecosystem not just like ICO, this isn't comparable yet. And the fact that most De-Fi tokens projects are being held in by top 500 holder addresses.

And yes, there are too many speculation parts about this and we can't blame those investors comparing ICO and De-Fi projects especially those people had been failure of having profit on ICO's projects back then. Let see and wait for the result and at least we invest of what we can afford.

3132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having loss is part of experience as a Trader on: August 21, 2020, 10:47:56 PM
A trader should either exit trade with :

  • A small loss
  • Even
  • Huge profit
  • Little profit
No, this isn't a good trader.

How can you perform to learn your mistakes if you already exited on the game of trading and take your profit?
The best thing to do is learn your mistake and yes, a loss is a part of the experience that you should learn after you will be experienced it. If you have idea how to gamble, I think that was the trading looks like. But the difference is trading isn't based on pure luck, 75% skills and the rest is luck. You should have your own research to increase a chance to get profit.
3133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank cards with hot wallets safety on: August 21, 2020, 10:21:36 PM
Hello guys! I've just ask this question in other topic but it's better to have a separate one. I know that hot crypto wallet are not safe and can be easily hacked. But what about bank cards with hot wallets? Are they safe enough?
Although your statement is unclear but based on my understanding you are asking on the custodial wallet. Yes, they are using a hot wallet and probably safe for them but not for us. Why? Because they are the one who controls our bitcoin, in the name of trust we use them.

Actually, there is no system safe if what safety you are referring to. The chances that they might they will hack is also possible and also the chances that might they run our crypto that has been stored might also possible. That is why never stored for a long run in the custodial wallet. Always have your private key and password using a hardware wallet is a perfect wallet if you want safe.

3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin on: August 18, 2020, 11:59:37 PM
This might an interesting match.

By the way, is there a side bet? 0.2 is huge for me at the moment. Whyte should be serious to knock Povetkin as soon as possible, age doesn't matter, Povetkin's punch still has the power to knock him off. Cheesy and if Povetkin's wins its probably the Great Last Hurray.

How much for pay per view?
3135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 18, 2020, 11:50:41 PM
I may rate this with 75 % fact, but if you don't take a risk to explore with new ideas that can give you a better opportunity to earn more than what you hold, imagine, not all who owns the business does not mean they don't have the credit or they don't loan money for investment. For example, many have tried to take the risk and share ideas and afterward opens an Initial Coin Offering (ICO), earns more than what they hold. Holding is one of the best options but you should be financially literate if you want it to increase.

If you want to hold, I suggest holding Bitcoin in 80% of your portfolio. Because when Bitcoin is on hype, altcoins might follow in Bitcoin movements too.
3136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does it take for an order to complete? on: August 18, 2020, 11:34:04 PM
It means you placed order on a coin which doesn't have enough trading volume, normally it won't even take minutes to complete order whe you are exactly buying for the current trading or selling price but if there are more trading orders with the same number then it take minutes or barely an hour, only you need to wait if you set the price too low from the current selling price.
Tend to agree, the problem maybe on the bulk of orders also that is why he is in lined up to the least buyer, and for sure every second the volume depends on the numbers. Is it really possible that it could take up to 7 days to receive the order? or the possible thing he could least do is to cancel the order and make a new order change the amount?

This might the problem of exchange that has a low liquidity. That's why they will used Binance exchange because of the high liquidity and trading volume was also high. Sometimes, it mad me pissed of then the bot over place your bid autonatically.

3138  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Proof of the ownership of BitCoins during a Divorce on: August 18, 2020, 10:37:40 PM
IMO, if you will consult a lawyer or accountant it will only give you an additional fee to pay those who could help you in legal services, you two should talk about it and do it in the manner the way you exchange vows. However, if you decided to take half of it, make sure that you have all the information you need in case you want to claim what is rightfully yours. Portfolio, transaction history, Statement of Account, and Certification that you are married is legitimate. Because that belonged to the conjugal properties.
3139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you trust a controlled ICO? XIAN COIN in particular... on: August 18, 2020, 10:18:36 PM
This topic has been discussed here.

I believed no one will trust this project, unless if the investors didn't know the founder of this project but if you have to conduct a background check you will find out how huge money he has been scammed.

I don't even understand what makes useful this project, everything is under control by the founder and anytime he will exit and run away the investor's money. He will might be laugh those who been fooled with him.

Just a tip, don't be a brave fool trying to invest even you know already the founder just because of greed, a brave fool was still a fool.
3140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ: We are seeing ATH in terms of system traffic. Higher than Dec 2017 on: August 18, 2020, 12:25:27 PM
This could might a source of hype to anyone who read this tweet and he is the most influential in crypto space, which has now given this statement and we know that this prediction might happen as what he predicted. Binance exchange it seems the most trader's choice because of their unique feature and good service. They had a good appeal in crypto community due to the trust they have gained.

Probably CZ was right, the most anticipated trend is the bullish trend and I believed in CZ statement that there will be a new ATH sooner or later. Binance will help the market on this way.
