Coin seems dead. Unfortunate not much is going on, dumped my coins Seems dead? They just renewed the logo. I bought a lot of them at 11 Satoshi and there is a buy order of almost a million at Cryptorush. This coin is very much alive. LOL the block reward is 75 coins and was 350 at its highest.... DOGE had a 500,000 average block reward (1-1000000) for the longest time and each coin is worth 200 satoshis. this Shit-Fail-Coin is only mined by very retarded people that can't do math. DOGE has an unlimited supply and coins are flooding the market. Don't forget it was 30 Satoshi a month ago. This coin is getting harder to mine, making it more valuable.

I think the POS thing needs explained more. Do i need to solo mine to get access to my POS shares?
Okay, we'll see if we can beef up the explanation for you guys but to answer your question no, you do not need to solo mine the coins. As long as they are in your wallet and your wallet is unlocked when it comes time to stake you'll be set. Isn't it similar to interest you get at a bank? If you synch your coins with the network (like putting money in your savings account), you get a % of new coins after a while.

Just for the record, the website getting back up is #1 priority. We had things change hands a little bit, and dealing with multiple people living in different parts of the world we are a little out of sync with getting everything switched over. Let's not kid ourselves--if the website stays down it makes the coin look terrible.
Good idea

Has anyone gotten the Mac wallet to work on Mavericks?
Sorry, do not have a Mac. Did you try adding the extra nodes? And putting the frycoin.conf file in /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Frycoin/? I'll try that now. Also to your previous post. I may be willing to help with a website at least on the front-end. Is there anyone else here working on this? I'm a pretty talented designer/developer. I'm not great when it comes to the server side stuff, but I'd certainly be willing to help out... I can host it on IIS (or perhaps Apache). Do not have a domain, but I can use the Azure domain (for instance fry.cloudapp.net). This sounds like a great idea, I already own frycoin.org so we can setup a site on the Azure hosting. I'll pm you the details. Chofoe is still working on the Android wallet, hopefully he will have that done soon Also, I sent you a pm ShakinHandz, I'm sure we can work something out. Just messaged you back, look forward to helping out! Committed one of my miners to frycoin last night Good stuff!

I heard somebody talking about a similar coin that has the same kind of concept, but launched earlier and has a smaller supply: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=437660.0Price really low, so I bought a million of those just to be sure.

I contacted the developer to see what he thinks of the idea. I think Nut has to become a key currency on an exchange, so it becomes common good.
Personally I'd more like to see things like NUT stores and auction sites to aid in it's value being correlated to what you can buy with it in terms of real-world goods, rather than just being traded and exchanged. That being said a major exchange would be useful/neccesary (remember to vote @ http://www.allcrypt.com/beta/voting.php) , but not before NUT's more broadly used and accepted. Keep us posted on what dmx thinks. I reckon it's about time for an update from him anyway. A store is quite hard anyway even if you do it with simple dollars. It is quite a hassle to to get altcoins in general, so people have to go through an exchange anyway (if not mining them). This coin is not interesting for speculation and will only become interesting when the S curve kicks in. Speculation wise, this coin is worthless in the short run... And that makes it such a great coin! It is very fast, so we should exploit it's transaction possibilities. I think we should use it as a tool to support other transactions. Maybe we should have an initiative where we try out several ideas with a strong team and a community that votes for new directions to take. We could have several stages like: 1: NutExchange 2: Escrow service where you pay with NUTS as a service fee. This combination of both makes it that we know earlier that a payment went through, when the Nuts already arrived. 3. Bitcoin/USD payment tool with the same BTC/NUTS combination 4. Stores that sell goods to the altcoin community 5. General Stores. I think you're generally on the right track here, I don't know for sure, but I belief the dev. is working on some of this stuff right now. It would be great to hear from him and exactly what his plans are so that we could all work in one direction together rather than he and his group trying to go one direction and us trying to push in another. I think if we were to all be able to concentrate our efforts in one general direction we will be more effective. I don't want two sides to end up clashing. Very true. For a solid coin it would be good to have some transparency, though. It would be better to work with a larger group and together with the community.
