I'm not going to change the ratings on DirectBet or Anonibet since there hasn't been enough posters speaking up to warrant it. Jetwin will get an upgrade.

Is anyone playing with BetMoose or have any questions? https://www.betmoose.com/

Quote
HOW DOES THIS WORK?

BetMoose lets you bet on the outcome of future events.

Anyone can create their own futures contract or "bet" under their own proposed terms. Anonymous and registered users place their wagers on whichever option they predict will come out to be true. At the 'Betting Deadline', the betting stops, and a waiting period begins until the outcome time is reached. At the outcome time, the host sets the correct outcome. To prevent unfair resolutions by the host, bettors have 24 hours to report the bet.

Hosts earn reputation and commissions from accurately resolving so cheating is rarely seen. However, if any reports are received, the payout is halted and a BetMoose moderator will decide the outcome based on what the host specified in the 'Title' and 'Decision Logic' fields. If the BetMoose moderator cannot decide the outcome, the bet is cancelled, and all funds are returned. The payout sent to winners comes directly from the loser pot, and is split among the winners based on how much and how early they bet.

Not all bets are created equal, please read the decision logic and look at the timeline the host has set before placing your bet.
BETTING
1. What's a good betting strategy?
Spread your bet on multiple options depending on your expectations of the event. For example, in a classic Yes/No bet, if you think an event is 75% likely to happen (and you have 10 to bet), place 7.5 on Yes, and 2.5 on No. This way, you maximize your returns, and minimize your risk (since you'll get a proportion of your own coins back at the end regardless of which option wins). We won't bother you with the math here, but we encourage you to run your own calculations.

2. Where can I check my bet status and proof of payouts as an anonymous bettor?
At the bottom in the footer, click ‘Track Anonymous Bet’ and enter the deposit address you used to make the bet or your receiving address that you inputted when placing the bet.

3. As an anonymous bettor, can I reuse the unique address given to me when placing a bet?
Yes. This will place another bet on that same option.

NOTE: If you do this after the bet deadline, we will send the coins back to your originating address automatically, taking out the bitcoin miner's fee.

4. As an anonymous bettor, what happens if I send less than the minimum (0.005) to a bet address?
We will send the coins back to your specified payout address automatically after 4 confirmations, taking out the bitcoin miner's fee. Please note that we will not send back anything less than 0.0001 after miner fees.

5. What does the Time Multiplier do?
Simply put: the earlier you bet, the more is your share of winnings. The starting multiplier depends on how far the bet is into the future and goes down to 1.000x by the bet deadline. The multiplier is 1 + (0.005 * # of hours between the current time and the bet deadline).

Here’s an example:

A bet has 2 options: “Yes” and “No”. “Yes” has volume of 1 - “No” has 0. The bet deadline is 200 hours into the future (time multiplier of 2.000x).

You bet 1 on “No” (at the 2.000x time multiplier). Your ‘time-weighted’ bet value is 2.000 * 1 = 2.

On the last minute before the bet deadline, someone else (a last-minute bettor) also places 1 on "No", but at a late-time multiplier of 1.000x. That ‘time-weighted’ bet is worth 1.000 * 1 = 1.

Let’s say “No” wins. The amount to be split between the 2 bettors on the “No” side is 1 (total volume of “Yes”). Since you both bet the same amount but you bet at a 2x multiplier, you will get exactly 2x more of the opposite pot than the other late bettor. Your payout is calculated as follows:

(your bet) + [(your weighted bet) / (total weighted volume on your side) * (total volume to be split among the winners)].

In this case, it’s 1 + [(2 / 3) * 1] = 1.66666667 will go to you, and 1.33333333 will go to the late bettor. Note that for simplicity, fees are not included here.

6. What is ROI?
ROI (Return On Investment) shows your payout relative to what you put in as a %. If you deposit 1 and get back 2, you've made a 100% ROI.

Your ROI is calculated as (Total Profit from resolved bets / Total Placed within resolved bets).

7. Can I withdraw my bet once placed?
No. Please be careful and don’t bet on things you don’t mean to. Allowing this (dynamic betting) is being developed though, stay tuned!

There are two exceptions:

If you are the host, you can delete the bet and get the coins back ONLY while there are no other bets placed. As soon as someone else places their bet, you can no longer delete your bet. Please report your bet or contact us. We'll be adding an automated option to do this soon.
The bet becomes invalid (impossible or unfair to resolve). These bets will be cancelled and all coins returned with no fees. Please report bets that become impossible to resolve. Please note: anonymous bets that get refunded will incur the miner fee (0.0001 BTC).

This poster here registered July 28th. Many backing DirectBet have just registered.

Your claim that they just signed up to back us is another false accusation.
why do you make this stuff up? read the quotes again. It's an observation that many people backing you have just signed up. I didn't say it was the sole reason for them signing up. They are just new to this thread and swayed by your posts.

I think that the most important thing is that the top rated books are strong books and the bottom rated books are stealing our money. This has been a community effort. I've been alerted to many things and I hope it continues.

DirectBet- Go look at every other rating site. The top books have gone under. Fortunately with input from the posters, that hasn't happened here. The top books are good books and you are wrong to criticize. All the "B-" and above are very strong. The top books at other rating sites will continue to go under.

I didn't want the bet 7 minutes later. I don't want you to give me the odds. I want firm odds at the time I place the bet as it is with every other legitimate book. If you would just pipe down we can listen to what others have to say so that a fair assessment can be made. Your words don't mean a thing at this point.

Remember when you said that Livebets didn't pay me and that was the reason for their D- rating. You showed me where Ryan had them rated as the 3rd highest book. Livebets went under with player's funds shortly after that.

I have no stake in the matter but have to agree with DirectBet here.  They don't withhold any bets, I understand it to be the Bitcoin system itself that sometimes delays me obtaining back my bets or winnings. For live play, I agree there are some issues because you can never get your bet in for the time you want it with the odds you want.  But, DirectBet is totally honest about everything they do and I've never seen anything shady by them so I don't see how you can lower their rating.
Thanks for the input. If people like you speak up it helps the ratings. With me the problem wasn't on the part of DirectBet, but with the blockchain that held my bet for 7 minutes and I couldn't cancel my bet.

DirectBet- Your reply seems to be a problem with me. You have to put out fires on a daily basis in your thread. Can you dispute anything that was written concerning your book or are all the problems valid?

Do any others have opinions? I'll wait some time but without valid objections, Anonibet will remain "A", Jetwin will be upgraded to "C" and DirectBet downgraded to "C-".

Please post any input that you have on the above listed books. Also, input from other books will help us. I can't remember a thread besides this one, where warnings were given about 4 books and all 4 books went under. Posters are the ones that first posted the problems in this thread and then they were looked in to.

DirectBet - I know that you are going to be in here with many repetitive posts. It's been asked by myself and others that this thread be for the posters. We want books to enter but talk about their own book. Feel free to bash me but please keep your conversation to your own book and not others. All books abide by this rule except for you.
3133  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS and REVIEWS of SPORTS BOOKS thread. Poster input appreciated. on: July 29, 2014, 05:09:25 AM
I feel that a couple of books should be upgraded or downgraded. Tomorrow I will throw them out for public opinion of suggested upgrades and downgrades.
3134  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS and REVIEWS of SPORTS BOOKS thread. Poster input appreciated. on: July 29, 2014, 04:54:55 AM
DirectBet questioned the validity of this thread so here are a couple of quotes from this thread. Some of these books asked to advertise at peepsplace.com and were told, "no".

Quote
The only thing keeping StakeBTC from being a "F", because of that bonus, is that they haven't had one complaint as far as payouts.

I think that bitcoinlivebets is at the top of the list of the next book to go under although I hope it's not the case.

I'm not going to put Coinbet on our recommended list at this time.

If anyone here still has any doubt that Peeps Place is Skipper2, please let me know and I'll show you.

Peeps Place came here hiding behind his Skipper2 account in an attempt to discredit this ratings guide, spread chaos and destroy the ratings.

He was doing it because this has become the leading ratings guide and his own "ratings guide" no longer has any creditability after we revealed that his ratings are paid for.

Lies again. You asked me to send PM's sent to skipper and I showed them to you. Can you just stop.

Wow so much aggression and hate - why don’t players just decide for themselves. Silly
Agree - It should be self moderated.

This is the sequence July 19th and prior. I missed the 4.25. 5 out of 7 guys voted 5. The team in full force.

Sr. Member - 5
Newbie - 5
Hero Member - 5
Full Member - 4.25
Sr. Member - 1
Sr. Member - 5
Sr. Member - 5

So according to you that Sr. Member accounts are shill, because they voted Directbet 4 or above.
No. I'm saying that DirectBet was rated #9. Then a ton of ratings came in at 5. It looked as though many signed up within the last few months. All the 4's you mention came in after my post.

Those numbers may not be exact since I just eyed it up. If questioned, when I have time, I can look.
3138  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS and REVIEWS of SPORTS BOOKS thread. Poster input appreciated. on: July 29, 2014, 12:21:04 AM
These guys all came in after my post where all 5's were coming in. Lot's of 4 and 4.5
4
4
4.5
4.5
5

I'm not looking at every post but it looks like a good portion of the 5s  are all newbies or guys winning your contests.

You were the 9th highest rated book until you brought in the new guys.

You were quoting the ratings list from its early days when there weren't many votes and so the list was not accurate. The more votes, the more accurate it is.

Where is the "team of shills that all rated us 5 out of 5" that you're talking about ?

I'm sorry Peeps Place but every time you make a false accusation on DirectBet, we have no choice but to remind the members here that you are getting paid monthly by our competitors, Anonibet, BetcoinSports and Nitrogen to do so.

We truly hope they will realize that a liar representative is bad publicity for them and that they will stop funding your activity immediately.

Skipper and I used two different sets of data. That's why I said I didn't look at his data.
My data ended July 19th. Here are the votes. You misquote everything.

July 19 :5
July 16: 5
July 15: 1
July 13: 5
July 13: 5

DirectBet was rated #9 which is a proper rating of the book. The shills that just signed up tainted the ratings.

lol, you are not seeing there is 7 full member or above who rated Directbet 4 or above last month,
and you always accuse that newbie raised the Directbet rating, then why Full member or above rating high for Directbet.

Many of those guys received $5 winnings in DirectBet contest and ran over to vote. Many also came in after July 19th when I made my statement.
