I am very disappointed that the COL dev has still not posted on here as he has posted on other threads

can you please update everyone about what's going on as for all they know you could have dumped all your coins and are now working on the next scam

Thanks

zack

STFU, mr IFC and ADT ponzi schemed collaborator ! Grin

Started any debt based crypto banks lately ?

How did you get your billions ? How many have you dumped ?

Why do you and a few of the other IFC noobs have similarly bad english grammer.. and/or .. dare I say, translations ?

It doesn't take much of a leap of faith to see who is behind all these attacks.

LOL Whatever makes you happy, c1010010. Tongue I'm sure the next one won't cost you anything either.

Yea, I know you post this all the time.

I have to admit again, as I have had before, there is a lot of this process I don't completely understand.

So, you are saying my account is not being credited.  Do you have proof that it is going someplace else?  If you do, please share, cause I would want it made right.

If you are just guessing... then please say that too.

First off, thanks for not taking my being blunt personal.

It would be nice if someone more qualified could step in and help clear matters. For now all I can go on is experience and logic.

Heres 1Q76MuB8A59o78Mf8hsNReCaUg1YmM2gSt from block 196471.  http://exploretheblocks.com:2750/address/1Q76MuB8A59o78Mf8hsNReCaUg1YmM2gSt

The coins are definitely going somewhere.

Now who would want to do harm to a multi pool resistant PoS coin ?

How much will the exchanges and the traders like it when volume numbers plummet, if/when PoS becomes the norm ?

I believe Colossus, Maples, Starcoin have all been hit for these and other reasons..

Does anyone remember when I first noticed these so called orphans ?

And the response he made up ?

Good questions, Hippie Tech and powpow.  You had me worried there for a while, but after looking into it, these are orphaned blocks.

Generally with found blocks, if you go to the search box on the block explorer at http://exploretheblocks.com:2750/chain/Infinitecoin and type in the block number you'll get just one infinitecoin block displayed on the results. For example if you input block 123456 you 'll get:

    Infinitecoin 123456
    Bitcoin (BTC)
    Testnet (BC0)
    Namecoin (NMC)
    Weeds (WDS)
    BeerTokens (BER)
    SolidCoin (SCN)
    ScTestnet (SC0)
    Infinitecoin (IFC)

However, if you go to the search box on the block explorer at http://exploretheblocks.com:2750/chain/Infinitecoin and type any of the block numbers that you've mentioned, you'll get two results - our orphaned block which doesn't have the block number beside it (but has just a block hash instead) and the the "real block" (booo!) which has the block number beside it, for example using block 196495 the results are

    Infinitecoin 196495
    Infinitecoin a7430f2fbbecc12f1a0fcbbe6dfb80c84d6786c87aed70b6b637a3e42c4d824a
    Bitcoin (BTC)
    Testnet (BC0)
    Namecoin (NMC)
    Weeds (WDS)
    BeerTokens (BER)
    SolidCoin (SCN)
    ScTestnet (SC0)
    Infinitecoin (IFC)

The payout addresses listed in our orphaned blocks are actually some kind of alternative version of your own addresses.  For example, Hippie Tech's address iC6Yr743UWVzt3vtYWBXGxPsZNBmUzjgNB  has its alternative version of 19d2R2ef47EdTqi43iD1pAddMuuYuAsYqU displayed in the orphaned blocks.  This can be confirmed by putting each of those two versions of the address into the block explorer search - you'll see that all of the transactions are identical.

LOL Whatever makes you happy, c1010010. Tongue I'm sure the next one won't cost you anything either.

Please stop vomiting biased mindless FUD all over the place, esp when everyone is telling you you're wrong. Oh, and those pesky facts aren't helping your case either.

Ignore list. Use it. Love it.

I was hoping to avoid that..  Wink

So much for that idea. lol

I can say that because EVERY PIECE OF ELECTRONIC HARDWARE WITH A HEATSINK HAS SIMILAR CHARACTERISTICS. Tongue

Checking the heatsink(s) to be sure they were installed properly is not a useless suggestion.

Thermal pads can slip, become squished or may not have been lined up properly. Also, trimming the excess pad will improve the air flow.

Silly puckhead, the zamboni fumes are getting to you.. WTF is it with pro sports fanatics being so dense ? Huh

MY LS arrived the other day and I have to agree, its almost as loud as a hair dryer.  Maybe not THAT loud.  I think its about on par with my Dyson vacuum cleaner.  I think a hair dryer is louder then that.  I tried changing out fans with a nice Noctua, but the Noctua couldn't keep the temp down low enough.  In the end I went back to a stock fan and I'm dealing with the noise.

There is no way to sleep with this thing in the same room.  I had it 2 rooms away with doors closed and I could still hear it a little from where I was sleeping.

Without knowing exactly what these look like...

Have you checked the heatsink(s), in case they skimped out or did a bad job with the thermal paste ?

Maples and apparantly ADT have also been hit.

So was it a fork or a 51%?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong..

I believe they are similar or the fork is just a failed 51% attack.

Both require updated clients.
