The best bit about Battle.net Balance is this: Note: At this time, Battle.net Balance may not be used for Blizzard Store purchases.
W T F is the point? They probably just want to get some more information and statistics before they open it up to that. Game hasn't even been released yet. And I didn't get in the beta. Oh hey I did, logged in to read that and there it was. I know what I'm doing this weekend.

When someone posts a thread to give away stuff, I think it's reasonable to assume they aren't going to be participating.

Why would his own post count? Get a grip people.

Fair enough, was just wondering.

Out of curiosity, Spike, what connection with this do you have?

As Technomage said, why would any sane person sell Bitcoins in this manner when they could get more money selling them slowly? Either they can get more money another way selling them like this, or they don't care about money.
Maybe they know something.

Mars rover is the best twitter http://twitter.com/marscuriosityThat could probably look good, considering it's a log house. The rest of the furniture would be a horrible mismatch though.

Is this a sockpuppet by Maged to see if anyone will lend?
No, but that's a good idea... (if that ever happened, I would of course tell the truth if anyone asked this question, but I doubt it'd happen any time soon) watch out for Maged! lol You've been Maged! I have been trying to delete this topic for a while now..I feel stupid :/ No idea who maged is :/ We don't like deleting topics unnecessarily, but you can lock your own topics if you wish, or PM one of us. Edit: Broke the Maged train.

Damn, these restrictions are quite bad.
Shoulda seen the forums 6 months ago, quadrupled our normal volume and the majority of them were trolls trying to get a rise out of the libertarians.

I think that lately these starfish indicators have much more to do with the fact that Bitcoinica has serious liquidity problems. I have seen no signs of extreme bullishness recently which means that it makes absolutely no sense that there would be an avalanche of buying. The price doesn't indicate anything like that either. The market is very far from being overbought right now which means that the only plausible explanation to the starfish is that Bitcoinica simply has serious liquidity issues.
I would bet my entire bankroll that there is actually much less highly leveraged longs right now than there was before and that these starfish issues have more to do with the fact that Bitcoinica sucks, less with the fact that people "haven't learned".
It doesn't need to be overbought, just needs to be enough people new to trading and not realizing the dangers of leverage to make him run out of reserves. I think this is a lot more likely than "bitcoinica sucks". Doesn't mean both aren't true though, we'll never know though.

That wasn't me, but linking there is against the rules here, discussion is fine though.

Well, they probably would have been considered off-topic. Are posts actually removed in this forum because they discuss Satoshi Nakamoto?
No way. Off topic stuff will get deleted, or split off into a new thread if its substantial.

What makes you think that was what got you banned?

The second picture would be more accurate after spending half the day trying to get all my miter cuts fitting properly for the trim pieces.

The closest I get to social networking is my blog, which is mainly just a place for me to document all my projects. Like this 55g aquarium stand I'm working on right now, built it all from scratch, got the staining done (not pictured, nice dark mahogany though) but still awaiting the clearcoat.
