3121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: September 21, 2019, 05:29:14 PM
2017,ETH is a basic platform for funding and token issue, and more than90%+ projects and tokens select to be on eth.

2019,ETH is the base platform for more large-scale Defi open finance, as you can see,MakeDAO,ddex, and so on.

so,anyway, the promising future is coming for eth.
It seems to me like the basic platform even did a little better than the present one, because 2017 was really a great year for Ethereum, and this 2019 has not been great at all, and this 2019 looks like their hype is seriously dying down.  I believe that there is still a very great future for Ethereum, but that bright future can only be achieved if there is more push from the side of the developers and team, because other projects are quite pushing their project better than Ethereum now, and most of those projects are not on their chain which we would have said will still affect them positively.

Let us see what their Ethereum 2.0 will look like when they release it next year, I learnt that it is really going to be a great new thing entirely with the introduction of new features which is what we need now for Ethereum to keep getting attractive.
3122  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: September 21, 2019, 02:31:15 PM
Yeah, that seems like our whole problem in bet token, we do not want the price to go up but its a good thing that it does Cheesy.
If you ask me I want bet token to be 1 cent and even lower, make it less than 1 satoshi if possible, I want to buy as much as possible however if the price drops that much than we can assume there must have been something wrong with bet token that made it go down that much and that equals eosbet having something bad as well, if we could just have eosbet casino going bigger and better and getting more wagers and more dividends all the while the price of bet token falling that would be awesome Cheesy.

Of course, that will not happen, its just a dream, I already bought as much as I can afford but I am out of money now, I will have to wait until next pay check and that means price could go even higher and I am really scared of that.
3123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: September 21, 2019, 09:14:01 AM
Most of peoples would lazy to read their whitepaper , but for fact some scam project just copied another whitepaper , they just too lazy to make their own. another thing you can check their social media and their admin or moderator. Most of them using fake admin or moderator account

The copied and plagiarized documentation that projects offer us is a big problem in the cryptocurrency space. Moreover, this problem occurs not only in scam projects, well-known projects copy some ideas word for word, this happens very often, they literally rewrite other people's achievements for their needs.

Indeed, only a small number of startups have truly ingenious concepts; these startups become the pillars of the entire cryptocurrency market. Basically, only these ingenious ideas have a chance of success in the future, the rest are either scammers or loss-making investments, both of which lead to the loss of investor money.
To avoid all these plagiarized projects, it is best that we just allow them to be fully established before we think of investing in them, at least by the time they enter exchange, one problem would have already been dealt with.

I mean the problem of scamming us before they get to enter exchange, from their entrance into exchange, we could now filter it further to projects that are on quack exchanges or projects that are on reliable exchanges like binance, kucoin, bittrex because I believe that project that would have made use of these exchanges will still have some level of integrity in them, even though they can also fail when the developer is such that is inexperience and lacks the enthusiasm to push a project forward.
3124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Digital Currency can Activate Someone's Financial Freedom? on: September 20, 2019, 08:00:11 PM
People who invest in bitcoin from the first time bitcoin launch has reached financial freedom, especially for who have much bitcoin. They already cash out their bitcoin and convert it into fiat in 2017 ago, and now, they become a billionaire in their city. But I don't think that they will reveal to the public that they have a lot of money from cryptocurrency because that will trigger the government to search for more information about them. It is better to reach financial freedom by secretly without anyone knows so we can enjoy the wealthy, prosperity. And we can make our time worth doing other good things.
How many of those people do you still think will have that their holding in their wallet, many of them must have even changed it all before bitcoin even get to reach its last all-time high, and those who have even change their money when it reached new high, I hope they are able to use the money to invest in something good outside the world of cryptocurrency because that is the only way they can fully guarantee financial freedom.

Bitcoin is good to be held as asset and when it grows and reaches all-time high, it could guarantee a future of financial freedom, but don’t forget that this use of bitcoin for investment will only be a temporary thing and never be permanent, it will stop when the volatility of bitcoin reduces and people start making payment with it only.
3125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Any Landlords in the UK Accepting Bitcoin\CryptoCurrencies for Rent Payments on: September 20, 2019, 04:33:41 PM
I have a friend in one of these popular African countries, and when you say some of these unbelievable things will happen, he will tell you that is leg should break if it ever happens, and I think I am also saying that now lol.

Landlords that are very stingy, if they are offer option of receiving payment in bitcoin, I doubt if they will ever accept it because when they think of the volatility, they will not think of the positive side of having an increased money, but what they will look at first is having to lose their money to volatility and they may never take the payment, the only way that I see landlords accepting cryptocurrency payment is when it is being enforced by law as the only recognized means of global payment, otherwise, forget it.
3126  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 20, 2019, 07:05:18 AM
I think you must have spent too long talking to The Village Idiot.

The guy has nothing to do here regarding to the topic we are talking about which is the lottery prize being offset for the Lambo. Btw, i take ideas/comments from both sides, you defend your casino, and he is a player which propose something might be hard to be true to the majorities but i am open to that including verify it because i am a player too. Understand that you need to defense your side but calling him, which is your customer, like that is not good Smiley
There is no need to hold back on someone just because you are representing a casino, this is not even fully a casino, casino is a place people come to gamble and lose money, we literally have stuff that you can do without spending a single dime and earn money here. Aside from that if a person is an idiot, there is no other way around it but call him an idiot.

If you can't calculate that when bitcoin was 3k the price was bigger in btc but lower in usd whereas when its 10k the price is lower in btc but higher in dollars than you either don't know math at all or you literally want to just hurt this casino on purpose and here on this topic we do not allow neither of those things as the people who have been using this website for years. I literally remember the time freebitcoin had ads, it has grown bigger and bigger every single day and I can testify to that.
3127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 19, 2019, 06:46:27 PM
In every form of investment, it means you are a risk taker were you are willing to gamble you capital. Therefore, if you are holding the alts for long term the risk was very minimal if the coin you bought are really promising and has a potential in the market, but if you choose the wrong coins even you hold it for long term, in the end you loss will loss it.
I think it is too difficult to know the right coin, especially when it has to do with this new coins in the market. The only coins that are trustworthy which I think is still quite on a high side is Bitcoin, and Ethereum and buying this ones to hold isn’t so easy for everyone because it a bit on a high side and not everyone can afford.

To those who can afford to Buy BTC, I don’t consider holding it as gambling because there is always potential for increase but when it relates to buying the new coins with the hope of increase or because it looks like the future is bright, I would say that is a very big risk. A very big one because from what I have experienced a lot of new coins are scam.
3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 19, 2019, 05:32:32 PM
I don't usually keep tabs on losses and wins while playing casino games. I used to earlier but that often led to keep up gambling more trying to build up better stats ....and gambling in long run you know which way it goes so it never worked out for me and I made it out of habit now.

Nowadays I just keep some parlay bets from sports book which I won beating some good odds.
I think you should start learning to do that. I was once like you, never paying attention to my loses or keeping records until the day I noticed the money I had kept for something very important was all gone and the only place it could be traced to was gambling. I felt very hurt and I mean really hurt because if I was keeping records I would have known earlier that I have exceeded my limit.

I later won big after my loses anyway but forgetting the losses made wasn’t something so easy to do. I think we would eventually forget at the end but it might take long, not necessarily after winning but after healing from the loss experience.
In your case, I would assume you had a nonchalant attitude. You don’t have to keep record of loses to know when you should put a pause to a game. What happened to setting limit and the likes? And you successfully finished the money that was left in your custody for gambling.

I would have thought this was a fictional story, but I have known you for some time to be very accurate and realistic and I am sorry to say, the regard I always had just dropped. How could you play a game to the extent of exhausting what was kept for you to hold, I feel disappointed and I hope you learnt your lessons from that anyway.
3129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 19, 2019, 04:54:27 PM
Real and PSG will qualify together man, Galatasaray and Brugge literally has no chance surviving in that group and they will race for the UEFA cup for sure, if one of them becomes the third team they will be happy that their European tournament life continues and will not go back home.

PSG and Real will however not even worry about what they will do, of course they worry about the future parts of the cup but for now they are not even caring up this part of it since they know they will be first or second, the worst thing for them would be being second at this point since that would mean they will face a better rival on the next round. Yeah maybe PSG won against Real Madrid but do you really think Galatasaray or Brugge could beat Real madrid in the next games?
3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 18, 2019, 09:39:53 AM
As we know that Gambling is prohibited in certain religions including Islam. If anyone does it, the earned money is not legal and is considered Sin.

But what if someone is promoting a gambling site on social media etc, will the money earned from it be legal provided he will never directly gamble ?

I can speak of my religion which is Christianity, I am not a hardcore Christian but as long as I am taking care of my family and not promoting gambling as something that will make you rich, which is deception.
As long as you promote gambling in a good and positive way like spending spare money and not indulging so much, there is no issue at all if you play gambling or promote it.
I think this is what makes Christianity different from other religion. Most times it’s the intent of the heart that is put into consideration not just the action. Gambling on its own is not a sin but what is important to be looked at is how it is been played.

If I am in any position to influence for a gambling site, as much as I as want the money, I would be honest to tell players to be careful never to get addicted to the game even though I know this is where most gambling sites make more money, it’s always their happiness to get a player addicted to the site because the gambler would have finished all his money before he gets back his senses.
3131  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: September 18, 2019, 07:36:48 AM
The reality is that not everyone has an acess to the internet and not everyone has knowledge about it. We can't always rely on the internet since it's not always available specially if we're not reachable by the internet service provider. No matter what happen, physical currency is still needed specially by small people who can't or doesn't have a time to connect to the internet.
This is why we believe that the issue of global currency might not be achieved right now and I think this is why the government are not also pushing for it because of the technology involved, and the government knowing that money is already a problem, they will not want to create global currency out of it other than the popular usd that we are all using.

In as much as the intention of the creator of cryptocurrency is right, there are some things that are not just achievable easily like that, and I think he never even meant that cryptocurrency should even be a global currency, he just wants a system that will be an alternative to the physical cash in other to make things easier for those that are finding it hard to make use of the popular fiat easily.
3132  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: September 17, 2019, 06:00:39 PM
I'm patiently waiting for the NBA to formally start so I can start betting a bigger amount, maybe that time I will be able to receive a free bet again.
You really do not need to bet bigger amount all the time to get free bet, check under bets if there is free bet available and if it does you can avail that if you are wagging over 1.5 odds. I think there was no restriction for the freebie this time as they said if Watford scores a goal everyone gets a free bet.
You do not "need" to but some people feel more comfortable with some other type of games and some like to play regular stuff like soccer. I have never really understood soccer for example and even though there are tons of people who gamble on it, I try to stay away from it. However when NBA starts I start to bet bigger and bigger, not just because there are stuff returned for it like promotions and bonuses, but because I really want to.

I would bet on NBA games bigger than other games even if there was no bonus or promotion tied to it. It is just about gambling on the sport you know and understand, if you try to bet on the team that looks like most possible to win in a sport you don't understand, you may get bigger upsets however if you know the sport very well you can spot potential upsets as well.
3133  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Halving Countdown and Other Data on: September 16, 2019, 09:16:32 PM
Are you sure guys that halving will pump btc?
Look at ltc nothing has changed
We can only hope and I too believe that it is just the believe of the people that mining will help bitcoin price increase in 2020 and not because we are completely sure, many of us speculates a lot and we just speculate what we fell will be good for people and would change their mentality toward it.

Do you know what will really boost the price of bitcoin in that 2020, It may not even be the halving reward of miners, but the mentality of people towards it is what will boost the price. You will see that by march, people would have started preparing for the halving and the way they prepare is to start investing in it with the believe that the halving will make the price of bitcoin surge which will surely so through their own investment including me at that time, because no one wants to take the chances.
3134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 90% Discount On Buying Bitcoin On KuCoin Exchange on: September 16, 2019, 08:05:34 PM
There is no regret at all, kucoin has been one of the most fantastic exchange that I have ever come across on my history in cryptocurrency industry, just exactly like the way binance started too, with very great features and quality which they started growing, I can see that kucoin is also growing very high in hype and in volume. One thing I like about them is that they don’t have fake volume, I have tried to study them carefully and studied every data that is on their platform, there is really nothing shady about them.

I think that binance really need to watch out for kucoin because of the way they are genuinely coming with speed and a very reliable platform, all that is juts remaining for them to be like binance is to reduce their trading fee.

3136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did fear cause that sharp dump? on: September 15, 2019, 07:07:41 PM
Fear has a bit of relation with the price, back when bitcoin went from 6.5k (back before November 15th 2018) people were really expecting price to go back up to over 10k, it was really a time when everyone was looking at charts and talking with each other and nobody really saw any reason for bitcoin to go down.

However, after that Craig Wright sold a bunch of coins (thousands) however it just dropped it to around 5.6k or just a bit under, it was certainly over 5k when he sold it, yet when the price went down like that everyone got super scared and we all know what happened next, just because one guy sold thousands, price rippled and and went down even more because of the scared people. So it doesn't cause the price to drop at first however it does become a bigger deal if there is already a falling going on.
3137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: September 12, 2019, 08:27:08 PM
Hello traders. What's your opinion could BTC kill banking system? Bitcoin has an advantage over fiatbecause its amount is limited and it can't fall under inflation.Inflation usually is caused by monetary policies of our central banks. Bitcoin is free from inflation, governement control and  high transaction fees.Banks can’t control BTC because it has no representative and is fully decentralized. That's why banks are afraid of BTC.

Bitcoin is not and will not kill the banking system. The worst that would happen is the two of them co-existing. Bitcoin will be in use while the banks will implement blockchain in their process couple with government coming with their own digital currency to be regualted by the banks. The moment bitcoin replaces banks, then there is no reason for government to exist which will not happen at least in this generation. Its high time we began to move discussion away with one replacing the other rather its how they can coexist in ensuring that the consumer gets the best of both.
I am also same opinion too that bitcoin never came to damage anyone’s system, but to eliminate all the faults in it. Bitcoin is meant to actually assist this banks to create their system with blockchain and make it a decentralized one, but this is what banks hate most, because running a decentralized system will surely make them loose money which is the main purpose for which the bank is even established in the first instance, so if they can no longer make money since individuals will have full control over their own money, they will try to fight the system, but then, there is still room for a centralized blockchain, they can still use the blockchain generally to help their system attain the best and be able to serve their clients to the fullest through the use of blockchain.
3138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Replace Gold! Here's Why... on: September 12, 2019, 07:44:59 PM
For now, I still do not see the possibility of bitcoin replacing gold, because if you come to many country and you go to some northern part, majority of them are illiterates, and even at their level of illiteracy, they virtually hold gold as asset and as investment opportunity.

When I see bitcoin, I see it as a system for the highly developed and exposed person in term of education and in terms of technology because bitcoin is strictly an internet based technology and this is what I see as limitation for bitcoin, but if bitcoin can be in form of a precious metal other than just digital alone, then it may be possible, but if you look at gold, you will see that it stands for both. It is only future that can tell anyway, I believe there is a greater future in cryptocurrency.
3139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: September 12, 2019, 05:04:12 AM
Depend on your term of investment, like long-term or short-term. In the long run all altcoins shall die except Ethereum. The best is to have BTC in your portfolio solely.
I have no reason to argue with you at all mate because to are right to an extent but I would not want to believe that altcoins will all die, because as years goes by, many companies too will start coming into the space of cryptocurrency and if you see the reason why they give token, it is not because they want to compete with bitcoin, it is because they need to give something that will be worth more for their investors in future.

Do not mind those other companies that claim they can compete with bitcoin like currency, those are the ones that will dies off, but there are some that just issue their tokens to investors like an asset and that is all, so the team and the project may still exist for more than two decades while bitcoin will always remain their king.
3140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does a perfect ICO Team looks like for you? on: September 12, 2019, 04:24:12 AM
The main key for doing due diligence for ICO team are the existence of the people it self. Does the project team are real?. In some case they using fake profile with using another photo and different name. They use LinkedIn as well and with great portfolio inside it. So you must be more careful with this scam mechanism.
Like one of the mate here said on another post, one thing he does about this linked in profile is to try to check on the team directly, and confirm form them if they are directly into the said project, I know that these scammers are wise to have perfected their plan, but if they use a reputable team, one should be able to also know if the email registered on linked in belongs to them or not .

There are several ways to find out the identity of the team, provided they have the picture on it, and if I have any team that I cannot fully verify the identity through the photo, then I will never give it a thought to try the project out, and that is how many of us too should try and operate, we check that the team is verifiable before we get to take the project serious.
