3123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Basic education for any Citizen on: June 21, 2019, 01:43:13 AM
I think that Governments of developed Nations MUST add a blockchain course to the basic education of any Citizen... starting from elementary schools, and why not, with some basics concept also in nursery.
I will agree for college but from nursery to elementary? I would let my son and daughter (if I have) play on any games they like online or outdoors than having these fields on their early ages.

BTW, here in philippines have blockchain elective courses already but only on college levels just started last month.
3124  Economy / Services / Re: Need a reliable person to help me get my funds i pay $$$ for the help on: June 20, 2019, 06:01:24 PM
Is this the common scheme where you will ask someone to withdraw your funds from some sh*t exchange, but because you're from china base on your tg account, you cannot withdraw the amount because of its law to CT, now once someone proceed, the exchange require to deposit before you can withdraw those random big amount from that sh*t exchange, right? Or I missed something?

@bL4nkcode I know your Filipino as well, I guess it will be best too to post this onto our local board for some notice, I guess some users are using Firefox browser too in there, the more it is disseminated throughout the forum the better.
Thanks for the heads up, never thought of posting it there earlier. Will do that.
3129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To all Firefox users, UPDATE your browser now before it's too late. on: June 19, 2019, 12:53:55 PM
I think this kind of post should probably go in Beginner's and Help since it is not directly crypto related, but a lot of people will want to know about it.
Just moved...

Just curious, which browser do you use? I think firefox is the best out there, better privacy than chrome (which is almost a spyware), and have a bigger development team than Brave (which is the natural competitor in privacy terms). Maybe the new Edge may look interesting (as it is chromium based), but it is not stable yet.
I frequently use brave for browsing and accessing favorite sites while only use firefox for my work--developing websites. Never think of using edge as of now.
3130  Other / Beginners & Help / To all Firefox users, UPDATE your browser now before it's too late. on: June 19, 2019, 10:56:49 AM
I just saw this article, though I'm not a firefox user but to those who are using it, UPDATE your firefox browser to the latest patch version now.

According to the article a zero-day flaw was exploited

It’s not clear exactly what hackers are attempting to gain by actively exploiting this flaw, but stealing cryptocurrency is one guess

A zero day flaw is
A type confusion vulnerability can occur when manipulating JavaScript objects due to issues in Array.pop. This can allow for an exploitable crash. We are aware of targeted attacks in the wild abusing this flaw.

Btw, dunno what board should post this, so I just let this thread here, feel free to report to mod to move the thread. moved.
3131  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bought new BTC and shows in my Wallet but will not let me send it out. on: June 18, 2019, 11:18:43 PM
I assume that you have correct and verified electrum. Have you tried to send using the wallet you installed before?
Have you tried to send lesser value than worth 80$? This might be some wallet issue or its just that you dont have enough amount to send with $80?
3132  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Here is a list of friendly crypto banks all of you can use without worry on: June 17, 2019, 12:15:48 AM
Why don't just the put the list here instead of linking such nonsense website, people dont want to click untrusted website you know.
Want to get more click/visit isn't it?
3133  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinMetro on: June 16, 2019, 11:59:51 PM
What are these fud you're referring to binance.
The site seems new and new to me as well, and the exchange seems not on cmc yet.

Well, if you're going to give your identity for kyc on such new service for trading purposes, I might suggest use the reputed one.
3134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: John McAfee launches the McAfee Magic trading platform on: June 16, 2019, 11:48:32 PM
Launching a service that most of the features doesnt work? And no matter what web pages you go, the site is horrible regarding to its UI.
Never been surprise from any work he's involve with, look bitfi, from the site to its HW design, seems he doesn't want a good looking service tho.
3135  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price & movements [Discussion] on: June 16, 2019, 06:09:08 PM
Possible Reason bakit uptrend ang price movement ng Bitcoin :

[1] Facebook Libra Blockchain testnet

I wonder how can this news affect the price of Bitcoin.  In my opinion, it has no to  little effect to Bitcoin price since it uses their own blockchain for their platform, it would give a huge impact if they announce that they will be using Bitcoin as their sole mode of payment thus generating more demands for Bitcoin.
You're underestimating how one of the biggest internet company can uplift someone when they start to go along with the course of this someone's company.

Fb coin might not furnish such huge impact unlike what you've said but it will give somewhat benefits to bitcoin drastically.

Why would people buy bitcoin because of facebook's global coin?
It's like you're saying, why would people want to acquire USD while we have Philippine Peso, or any local/national currencies, of course, there is what you called forex trading, or here in CT its called crypto trading.
3136  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-16] Hong Kong Protests Could Boost Bitcoin as Wealthy Move Assets Offsh on: June 16, 2019, 05:34:05 PM
Sharing an article that is outdated, the HK executive withdraws and even suspends the bill.

And how does bitcoin will have such huge effect from trading using only localbitcoins? And by moving funds from HK doesn't mean will move their funds to bitcoin or any cryptocurrency.
Might be good news to bitcoin price but giving such understanding from such event will give you doubt.
3137  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Worst Online Crypto Wallet Ever! [Poll] on: June 16, 2019, 05:21:24 PM
im surprised to see that most of the list on your poll are mainly popular wallets , not just popular but they are also good wallets  . though there are controversy that recently explode about the coinbase wallet  .
Popular wallets that you cannot fully control your funds and are at risk, well, except for blockchain.com and not sure for wallet.btc.com, never used them yet.
3138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Atomic Wallet on: June 16, 2019, 05:06:33 PM

I have bitcoins on cex.io and coinmama.com for two years and I never had problems Smiley
and I also have an account in blockchain.com form 5 months

Well good for you and not for the majority. Look the web wallets board most of the complains are those who have issues for blockchain.com wallet, while they are still somewhat good for small amount use.

And for cex.io, well they still somewhat resolve those problems from their users but arguing that it's an exchange that needed for KYC verification for storing your funds and cannot even fully control your own funds and such way for alternatives for multiwallets? no way.
3139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hyip btc address on: June 16, 2019, 12:01:22 PM
I would assume that you're referring a native segwit wallet address (bech32) in which searching this kind of wallet on blockchain.com will give an error due to this explorer doesn't support bech32 yet, you can see it on some transactions colored by gray and not clickable, example this txid from chipmixer's payment https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/f999a781efe6ff5e60f26e746582cf1cd2d38317170503df7367152069d05976

Don't know what's wrong with this blockchain dev not to implement such stuff.
Alternative you can use Blockchair.com and blockstream.info

Those blue colors are DT who support or oppose the flag while the greyed words aren't. (or I miss something?)
