3121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 25, 2021, 10:06:20 PM
I agree with you on that Nets are doing an amazing thing now. They manage to defeat their opponents even if one or two of KD-Harden-Irving trio doesn't play in the game. This shows clearly that they have a great chemistry.
Early I thought that the Nets would have some problems throughout the season with team chemistry and sharing the ball on the court after Harden's trade, but it looks like Nash found the right way to manage this big trio.
The success was more on Harden and Irving because Durant is sitting, we can only say that the TRIO have an an effective chemistry once Durant come back and they'll continue winning consistently as what they are doing. AFAIK, they are the team with the longest win streak now.
3122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: February 25, 2021, 03:16:48 PM
My honest take to this is that weak hands will do the selling while strong hands just keep relaxing. Negative minds will always be thinking failures and that is how it evolves in you.
Why you don't sell it when the price is high? It is that because you are thinking that the rally will continue and you are greedy to think that it will double or triple your money if you will keep holding until such a time that it dumps and you are in a panic. If you are in the lose now, there is nothing have to blame but just yourselves.

3123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: February 24, 2021, 10:41:09 PM
I really don't understand how it works?
For people to be living there life's out of a guessed game and call it a profession. I'm confused!
Is this topic real and really applies to people that share this same earth as me...
For better understand try to check out videos in youtube and search "sports investing" or "making money in sports betting". You'll see a lot of videos explaining how it's possible, and this is actually possible but the chances are very low since the majority are not making money in sports, they are losing or spending money, you are exceptional if you belong to the ones who are actually making money.
3124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 24, 2021, 10:21:08 PM
This is probably what Manny was talking with his latest update that he will be back this year with a big fight.

https://tribune.net.ph/index.php/2021/02/12/pacquiao-give-me-crawford/

Quote
“We told Bob I get $40 million and Crawford gets $10 million,” said Pacquiao, whose last fight was a stunning win over Keith Thurman in July 2019 in Las Vegas.

I believe if Crawford will take this fight, it will be the biggest paycheck of his career as a boxer.

So what do you think about this fight, is it going to be the fight of the year?

Manny Pacquiao will retire soon I guess he changes his mind I thought he doesn't want to fight anymore and he's also a senator I'm really worried if he can still fight with his full potential in his recent fight he still has the speed of his punches even in soon news they showcase Manny Pacquiao is doing training and we can clearly see the speed of the punches but I doubt the power. He's already 42 years old and Terrence is 33 years old at that age mostly that is where your senses slow down like reaction time I just hope he can still fight and win.
We dont know if this fight would be his last before he do retire.Actually there's no need to prove out more when it comes to his greatness in the career of boxing.

He had achieved those things that havent been achieved or attained by other boxers. It would be better if he do just focuses into this current job as a senator
rather than on continuing boxing but we cant blame him if he do really loves boxing.

If Pacquiao  will lose, then I guess it will be his last fight, but if he will win, there's still one undefeated in the same division that he would like to fight and that is Spence Jr. Looks very hard to achieve at his age but he is doing it, so I don't have any doubt on him until he loses as he is winning fights.

There's still no update regarding this fight, hopefully soon there will be positive news about it.
3125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience isn't everything on: February 24, 2021, 03:19:17 PM
When I was still a newbie to crypto many people told me to keep holding and that's all I did for many years and in the end I ended up with many dead coins, whenever I keep seeing people talking about patience as if it's the only thing a newbie need I always shake my head, the fact is you need more than patience to get good results from projects, having patience sometimes will get you nothing
That is because you choose to hold altcoins that have no market potentials and it was been abandoned by the developers on the day you bought it. But if you choose BTC, ETH, and the leading coins in the market, you will not be in regret holding for years. And to say "Holding" doesn't mean that we need to hold it for the whole life, of course, we need to check its market growth if it is growing or not, otherwise, we have to sell it and move to another coin.

Well for me. I don't have that kind of attitude, I'd never followed about holding, it is just sometimes I need to hold during the bearish season but most likely, I sell my crypto when I saw profit already.
3126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: February 24, 2021, 03:00:50 PM
experience will always teach you to what to do in future. trading requires a lot of learning, and applying every bits of it. just like you have a put it in simple terms, never offload all your bag of tokens except you are tired of the project or you have another thought about it. sell in batches and always make it a priority to remove your capital.
Of course, it makes no sense at all if we are keeping the same coin, put our eggs in one basket even we know that it never grows for how many years. That is why we need to look for another opportunity, another coin that could able to give us some profit. But, it is something we need to think about it first before taking an action and to choose the best one.

Leaving to coin that is already helpless and ain't profitable anymore is not a sacrifice but a chance to grow our funds and we must have to be HURRY, for a chance not to miss our precious time holding such coin which is nothing we have to get in the end.
3127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why ETH dropped 20% from the high peak? Anyone knows? on: February 23, 2021, 01:35:38 PM
I see the huge decline since yesterday and the sad thing is that there is no recovery yet to happen up to this, the price tends to drop continouosly. We never heard any news but this is the effect of the GAS fee that we all had to suffer. Only a few now are buying Ethereum as the majority are choosing other potential coins that could save them huge fees and also profitable. We can't just ignore this as we are also spending the funds wisely and we need to find another way.
3128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk changed the market circles on: February 22, 2021, 10:25:13 PM
It is speculation managed by famous social media phenomena, we have nothing to do if they continue to pump their bags. The small investors follow the Twitter account of Elon Musk with using the notification function and they start to trade with the altcoin mentioned by him. The Doge has increased a lot after the Elon changing the Twitter biography to Doge, this will affect the market cycles in long run.
Probably the effect is not good because there's no fundamentals on DOGE and yet it's pumping like crazy, Elon hype it but he does not own DOGE, unless he will help for the adoption of DOGE which I don't think he will do that.

He made profit on DOGE already, I read some article that he made billions already, so I guess he'll look for other coins to pump.
3129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WHAT happened to goosebet.io on: February 22, 2021, 10:10:08 PM
So what's the latest update on this site?

I think to access the site but I'm stuck with this logo.

http://goosebet.io/

Is this telling that the site will anytime disappear? Some site I know are closing because they probably have made themselves rich already because of bitcoin's bull run, but they are not taking gambler's money.
3130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2021, 03:58:50 PM
This is not a good idea but since you are doing this for a good purpose, then why not? At least you were possibly getting returns unlike if you are just to borrow money for nonsense. But one thing you have to be sure of is you can make a payment. That be sure you have other sources of income in the case your trading journey won't succeed ( but I hope it won't). That is why you should have to think about it wisely and don't get rush. Besides, we can make an entry to trading any time as long as you are ready enough.
3131  Economy / Speculation / Re: A guy celebrating Bitcoin reaching $100 on: February 20, 2021, 02:30:29 PM
Great to see this historical video and the guys reaction.

We have all been experiencing these emotions in the last month especially
and even today as we pass $57k. I too hope he is still in Bitcoin and maybe
on the forum perhaps?

Yes, it feel's nostalgic to see this historical video and makes me ask myself where am I in 2013? Probably gambling all my hard earn money, Lol, I should have invested on bitcoin back then (if I knew it) and could be millionaire by this time.

In any case, we are not late, maybe in 2023 or 2033 we can all be millionaires if we keep on saving our money and invest it on bitcoin today and be that guy in the future.
We don't bother to think about the value of Bitcoin before and think that it can be doubled or even tripled in the coming years. We spend all of it in every time to get some. We're not truly an investor that we need to hold to make a profit, we mostly paid every week, and that it comes into our mind that there is next week.

If we all have learned and think that Bitcoin will have this rally, I believe that everyone is holding since that time, but the majority won't make it. And this is the reason why we keep blaming ourselves till the end.
3132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did people buy bitcoin and other cryptos back in the old days? on: February 20, 2021, 01:45:35 PM
I have nothing to add since I only know Bitcoin at the time of joining the forum. I got heard about MT. GOX but never have an experience with this and those years as mentioned by OP, Bitcoin isn't widely known for everyone. But to wonder if those people who bought Bitcoin are still in crypto now or they are losing it as their keys being misplaced.

Anyways, I can't figure out how hard to make a trade in the past compared today as we have a lot of Bitcoin exchanges available. Honestly, they are so lucky to have that experience, buying Bitcoin as $1, $12, having traded for pizza? That is overwhelming.
3133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to detect and discover rise and explosion alt coins ? on: February 20, 2021, 12:58:55 PM
Don't make it hard to search that, nor asking people because the answer is NOTHING. That is why we have these speculations, market analysis, projecting what will happen next is that because we all don't know yet. It all just a surprise but sometimes we consider some factors that could affect the trend, news, hacking incident, bulk buying, and even a tweet but not all we should have to rely on.

As I've said, the market trend remains unknown. it goes anywhere, either it pumps or having corrections.
3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 20, 2021, 11:38:22 AM
$10 million is a bit low isn't it? Is this amount even confirmed? I heard that Manny is asking for $40 million. If he manages to get a fight against Floyd (looks impossible as of now) or GGG (the weight difference is an issue), then he can easily rake in at least $100 million. Anyway, if he wants to use the fight against Terence Crawford as a preparation, then it is OK. In that case he don't need to worry much about the money.

It is low compared to Pacquiao's catch.

Although looking at the amounts he's getting from his past fights, that would be one of the biggest salaries he will be having with his last fight against Brook being said at $4M. A fight against Floyd Mayweather is possible but that would be hard to arrange and considering how Mayweather wants to enjoy his retirement with exhibition matches, I think it is near to impossible.

Pacquiao has the right to demand because he is a superstar, when Pacquiao was still starting he is not getting a big cut also, and now that he is already in the top, he is just using his fame to demand this big amount. It's Crawford's biggest paycheck, why would he ask more, if without Pacquiao, he would not make huge paycheck, unless he will fight Spence Jr.
3135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if the bear market starts next month on: February 20, 2021, 11:18:03 AM
I think if the bear market happens almost all cryptocurrencies will experience price crashes including Ethereum. however, the high cap altcoins will remain. If you say next month to drop below $20k it sounds funny if you see the current market conditions that continue to rise even Bitcoin every day creates new records as well as other altcoins.
Just like the old days, we will probably see worst that 2018 bear market because bitcoin and altcoins now have really pumped a lot, what if bitcoin will reach $100k and will start to correct, then I think I should be ready and short the market as the trend will always happen.

Right now, it's hard to short market since bitcoin is pumping and so us altcoins, but time will come, and that time is what I'm waiting for.
3136  Economy / Gambling / Re: which are the safest sportbooks to play? on: February 20, 2021, 11:03:54 AM
Sportsbet accepts fiat, so it hardly makes sense to include it on this list.
Sportbet accepts different payment methods which include cryptocurrencies and fiat as well so it makes sense because it has cryptos too and one of the growing crypto sportsbook in the recent years.
Sportsbet is the most popular sportsbook here in bitcoin, if IIRC, there's was a survey here and sportsbet won the votes of the majority, so there's no doubt it's one of the safest sportsbook at the moment as that's what people are telling.
3137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run: will it end in May? on: February 19, 2021, 11:42:32 PM
Even if your prediction was right, we still got two more months in that time we can reach another level for sure like $60K above! But there is no such things exist, the bear trend may begin at any time so we can't make assumptions that it will start immediately after a year of halving. My guess is that we have some time before entering into the bearish trend so take your profits as much as you can.
That is only a wild guess, it can right or definitely wrong. Many investors keep on coming, they are the reason why prices keep on rising and until this never ends, we can't see the market turning back.

Anyway, there is no wrong about getting prepared for the next, if it is either be dumps or pumps. It is actually be happening all the time, can't be ignored but this time, I was in the positive that the momentum keeps long, and possible it will stay until the end of this year.
3138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Missed out on bitcoin, please make me a plan now on: February 19, 2021, 10:59:00 PM
GUYS HELP PLEASE!!!!

I started exchanging in Binance today and had a pretty big amount there. Now I can't see any signs of money/bitcoins. First I didn't see it in the wallet, but for a while saw it when trading crypto. Now that shows 0 as well.

The binance website shows following:

Deposit not credit due to system issue, withdrawals not available now. Wallet overview shows 500, transfer abnormal, IOS login abnormal. All noted and IT is working on it, please wait.

I'm on que to customer service, it's #1328 so I guess there's something going on. Does this mean the problem is in Binance and I maybe haven't somehow lost my money? Sorry I'm a newcomer.

It seems that you are unlucky this time. Sometimes this will happen to Binance, disable withdrawal and deposit as they are doing some maintenance, this also happens to the other market players. But you don't need to worry mate, Binance is a trusted exchanger and since your deposit isn't credited to them, it will get back to your wallet. You have to wait until the deposit button is already enabled, just stay calm.

But I have something to remind you,
Please don't rush to join the market and never do the trade if you don't have enough knowledge or just even having the basic knowledge because this might leads you to lose money. Make everything well-prepared first beiong doing this.
3139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why only tron missed the bull this time. on: February 19, 2021, 10:31:42 PM
There really isn't much going ng on with tron. Not much difference from others that would make it stand out. That is why people never get that attracted in using tron or it's services. There isn't even enough promotion as of the moment. The reason being may be because the hype was donebtoo early by the creator(s). Even if I was a developer myself, I would choose ethereum right away since it ismore famous and people are more familiar with it. Maybe tron still needs to age before it gets noticed as much as the others.
They don't see any potentials that Tron has unlike they saw with ETH and Bitcoin. For the others make a huge spike is that also because of the hypes drives them just DOGE coin, it is Elon Musk did it. Tron doesn't have any, maybe it needs someone who can make a push just like how DOGE.

Anyways, having a huge market volume, even we can't see it now moving high, we can't make a conclusion that it stays like this forever, TRON will follow the steps of the others as well(bullish).
3140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 18, 2021, 11:34:36 PM
Lakers vs Nets who's excited to watch this game?

Davis is probably out and Durant could be out as well.
Why Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis are sitting out Nets vs. Lakers game

For me, this is a fair game for both as they'll miss one star for each team, but Nets still have 2 so I guess it's Irving/Harden vs James.
