There are a lot of members here collecting a lot of Merit, well done to everyone.

Today I reached a small milestone by marking the number of the beast....
and being a metal fan reminds me of Iron Maidens "The Number of the Beast"

Next up will be "777"

All the gains with btc were made already if we are looking for 4 years from now is only 2-3x .

ETH I could see 5X in the next 4 years it has lower marketcap and better roi.

I wouldn't bet on metaverse coin yet because all the project look superb. look at sandbox, decentraland is not look like they have bright future too.

Terra luna is intersting decentralized stable coin and this cool project.

eth competitors will faid away when eth 2.0 is arrived. i don't see why anyone would build in solona . recently they just got hacked.

Cardano is hard to develop on there are no need for eth competitors.

I like bnb though i think it has good future its the easiest to develop on regular coins and it's safe.

Good coins are Eth, Terra luna,Bnb

Anything can happen over the course of 1 year or less but 2+ years
is another thing. If he can stay injury free he will still be a major force but there
are a lot of players developing their game and 2+ years of development is huge,
so I will go with a 50/50 chance.
3124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the difference between Bitcoin and Gold? on: February 20, 2022, 10:58:28 AM
While the two are far removed from each other the two have been compared against
each other pretty much since the forum began and since Bitcoin has been created.

2010 - Bitcoin vs Gold

Gold is a physical precious metal extracted from the earth and has many uses from
Jewellery and ornamental, Investment, Industrial, medical to scientific.

Bitcoin is digital, it doesnt have a physical form and has limited use in the form
of financial uses.

Bitcoin can be REPRESENTED in physical form using Gold.

Bitcoin has a limited supply but Golds supply is theoretically unlimited,
nobody knows how much there is in the earth.

There are lots of threads about Bitcoin v Gold, Gold v Bitcoin already on the forum.

3125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 20, 2022, 08:02:14 AM
Ah yes, great win by Bautista Agut in two sets which was consistent to most
if his wins bar one in Doha this year. I will be interesting to see if
he can carry this super form into the next tournament.

In Delray Beach Norrie got past Paul to get into the Final against Opelka, looks
like seeded players 1 and 2 face off against other. It also looks like Opelka is carrying
some good form into this final after winning Dallas last week but Norrie 1.78 is
still favoirite (Opelka 2.05) I think I'll stick with Norrie.
3126  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how to buy btc/usdt anonymously EU on: February 19, 2022, 08:11:26 PM
I am in the EU and am having some issues buying crypto at the moment I fear my bank may stop me making such purchases soon
I have a verified binance account a ledger where most of my crypto is and a metamask
I am looking for ways to buy btc or an other top crypto with as much anonymity as possible.

I tried using Paxful but inorder to transfer money out I need KYC ATMS also require KYC here. I tried using binance P2P with skrill as I had 100€ in my account but they know also want KYC

I know about decentralized exchanges but am looking for ways to actually buy BTC or USDT without my bank knowing. I am looking at a few options including amazon giftcards but is there any way to do this on a regular bases

Virtual Credit cards are one option but know little about them. have thought about paypal but dont want my account banned  as I get paid through it. Also I will need to be able to transfer the money out too without KYC

OP I had the same concerns some time back but what I do now is transfer FIAT from
my regular bank to my revolut account and from there I transfer the FIAT to Coinbase
which only takes minutes and my regular bank knows nothing of it!

Actually the whole process takes less than 30 minutes, and I am also in the EU.

¿Also be careful accepting services from others on the forum here, especially from
new accounts with no trust reviews, they might very well be genuine but DYOR?

@6000SUX
You now belong to a prestigious club of 1 bitcoin owners. It's a club with limited seating. Even if all the US millionaires wanted to have what you have, they couldn't. There isn't enough for all of them.

I wonder when they are going to realise this?
This is another fantastic aspect of Bitcoin, "the elite" dont have exclusive access
to it and that ANYBODY can own it.

To the OP, well done on realising that there really is only one worthwhile project,
and well done for achieving and HODLing 1BTC. Every year it becomes more
difficult to get there.

Anyone who is thinking long term and starts with $hitcoins will realise
eventually that Bitcoin is the one to concentrate on.

I agree with you both, Bautista Agut this week has performed really well and
seems to have been able to win his matches easy enough bar yesterdays match which
was a close one. I'll be backing him today again.

I'm happy with yesterdays bet on Norrie to beat Korda at Delray Beach, he is through
to the quarter finals against Paul, dont know if I'm going to bet on that one

I also had Dimitrov to beat Millman.....which didnt happen.

3130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: urgent Ukraine has adopted a draft law to legalize all digital currencies on: February 18, 2022, 06:14:42 PM
^
A little bit of research confirms this.

The new version of the law on virtual assets, which passed parliament Thursday, puts crypto regulation
under the oversight of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, per Zelenskyy’s suggestion.

It makes sense that the regulation would be with the same department which regulates
stocks and securities, in the article above they state Bitcoin will not be recognised
as legal tender but rather an investment like the stock market.

That article by Fortune is quite interesting it goes on to say,

Quote
Despite the previous lack of formal regulation, Ukraine has already developed
itself as Europe’s leading hub for crypto industries.

I'm taking it that as hatshepsut93 says there are not too many options for a lot of people
it makes sense if you are an IT Technician, crypto is an obvious route.

Round 12 of the URL gets under way this evening and continues over the weekend.

I'm having trouble accessing my Nitrogensports account ATM so I cannot check the
odds on some of these games, Offhand I'm thinking wins for Cardiff, Munster, Leinster,
Glasgow and Ulster.

I see on Sportsbet that they have odds up for the first round of the NRL on the 10th
of March, kicking of with the 2021 cha, pions, The Panthers against finalists Sea Eagles.

I see from https://www.nrl.com/ that there are Pre-Season trials on, @Timelord2067
can you let us know what these are and what bearing they have on the season if any

3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 18, 2022, 08:52:07 AM
Luckily I didnt put a wager on either Murray or van de Zandschulp. Bautista Agut
really blew Andy away in that match, I thought it would be a close one, but not.

Same here, I thought that Andy might have a good chance to at least score an upset win.

But to everyone's surprised, it seems that the didn't have any during that game because it's not even close. And as what we have discussing before, Andy is really way off and no longer can compete with this young generation of players.
The difference between Andy Murray and Bautista agut is just a year's difference. The match is completely one sided. 6-0, 6-1 which is a big blow. This was his worst defeat since 2014. Roger Federer recorded similar victory of 6-0, 6-1 against Andy Murray during the ATP finals held in London, 2014.

Speaking of Bautista-Agut, another huge win against Fokina 6-1, 6-1, it looks like he is destroying everyone big time.

He will be facing Khachanov next, who beat Cilic in three sets, losing the first one and then winning the last 2 sets, so it's a comeback win for him.

And Bautista Agut is favourite 1.45 today against Khachanov 2.75
in todays semi final. Both are nice odds but which way to go? I'm thinking B.A
he seems to be in top form at this tournament and yea those lase two matches
have been easy wins so he should be super fresh coming into this semi.

The other semi is just as tricky: Rinderknech 1.79 v 2.03 Basilashvili

Anyone watching what is happening over at Delray Beach?
Cameron Norrie is facing Korda in one of the Quarter Finals today, Korda 1.80 is
favourite and I havent heard much of him so far in 2022. I go with a wager on
Norrie @ 2.03

Why all these attacks?

Pandering to those who still resist the call of Bitcoin and crypto

There are a few institutions who have relinquished the hard line stance against Bitcoin
and have started to embrace i use that word loosely to what Bitcoin offers

Bitcoin is in its 14th year, its no longer a troublesome toddler, more people take it seriously now.

At this stage in the FIAT financial system if there is another crash there is no way
Bitcoin could be faulted, it "may" contribute to it but purely as a result of people
opting for an uncorrupted alternative to something financiers have messed up.

3136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I came as a beginner who wants to learn more knowledge on: February 17, 2022, 02:39:43 PM
Hi, this is an introduction, I hope that my visit to this forum can provide extensive knowledge about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency.
Welcome. Of course it can, the forum can boast of being the best repository of Bitcoin and crypto knowledge, you just need to learn how to use the search button to get started.
I've read some of the forum rules that must be obeyed because it's most important to maintain the forum...
Yes there are rules in place, the most important of them, or rather the one rule that if broken would result in an immediate ban is plagiarism, so while you familiarize yourself with the other rules, pay particular attention to the "do not plagiarize rule", cause it can cut short your journey here even before it starts.
I have been using a trust wallet for a long time can it be signed? Is this important to have as an account owner, of course I know this reading some posts on other Meta.
Signing a message isn't 'mandatory', but it's important cause it can help in some situations, for example in the even of account loss it can contribute/aid to prove rightful ownership, and also when you attempt to sign a message you thus learn how to do so, that's if you previously didn't know how to.

Coyster is correct, when you can sign a message you can post your address and
sign a message on the "Stake your Bitcoin Address here" thread.

Welcome to the forum, you are right in saying the forum is big, try and use the search
facility to find answers to any questions you have because there is a very high chance
the question has been asked before.

really blew Andy away in that match, I thought it would be a close one, but not.

The quarter finals are indeed hard to call, to me all 8 players are of equal ability.
I will go with Shapovalov against Rinderknech anyway, not sure about the others though:

Basilashvili v Fucsovics ::: really cant make my mind up, Fucsovics is favourite at 1.6

Davidovich Fokina v Bautista Agut ::: i'm half thinking of going with Bautista Agut

Khachanov v Čilić ::: its hard to bet against Khachanov here but Cilic is unpredictable
3138  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] - COINS THREAD BY MX12 ART - constantly updated INFO! on: February 16, 2022, 06:43:28 PM
Well done, interesting thread and hopefully it will grow.

Like you I love creating stuff but I have no desire to create coins so I admire your thinking.

As cygan said there are certain criteria which need to be present on a collectible, the BTC if
its Bitcoin, the makeup 1oz Silver for example and a unique design! I like the design above
there has to be a recognised symbol as well as what looks like the Anarchy one.

A DIY wallet as above is a good option for all IMO, look at the few threads reporting problems
with pre-loaded coins although I have no experience of this and I dont own any pre-loaded
coins anyway.

Overall I find this very interesting.

Without causing offense to any other makers I think MrCryptHodl set a very high bar
with his recent creations.
3139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the best advice you received here? on: February 16, 2022, 06:10:16 PM
If you dont venture outside the Beginners and Help board you can learn a lot
in a very short space of time. Tonnes of newbie questions have been asked here and
tonnes of answers by people who have been through it all are posted but it takes a lot
of reading and that is key, read more than you write!
3140  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: February 16, 2022, 04:25:01 PM
Well for my prediction expectation, I think $50 is achievable, I'm basing this
on the recent market move up to $45k, ok It fell back drastically to sub $40k briefly
but here we are again within the week bouncing off $45k resistance.

$50k will be a tough battle to get to there will be plenty of sell orders set before it
and there will be pull backs before getting there but yea how do the "experts" predict
such targets? what are they basing their analysis on?
