3141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2019, 10:48:26 AM
I read this article online that the government could stop the Bitcoin? Easily using a simple trick.
Making the bitcoin market price staying in under a 1000$ for a long time and wait for the people to lose interest in it.

For me, this is easier said than done, making the bitcoin market price lower than 1000$ would encourage investors to invest in bitcoin that will inevitably affect the market price.

What is your opinion about this? Could the government do this?

3142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? Apparently, some weird shit. on: November 22, 2019, 09:37:48 AM
So I saw this topic by Kprawn just a minute ago, with the question "What is the weirdest thing you have seen for sale for Bitcoin? ". I was going to answer there, but since I really want people to know this(just because), I decided to create my own topic about it instead.

Sorry in advance to Kprawn for stealing your topic

So, what can you buy with bitcoin in 2019?

Oh boy some of you people probably haven't heard of this yet.

...

...

Bath water.

I can't believe that they have this bitcoin as a payment method, Basically we can use bitcoin in buying anything as a currency it should be just like a fiat money,
but considering this bathwater thing i think the one whos selling this or the developer of the website is a investors or have knowledge in cryptocurrency for me today bitcoin was still not for buying things and currency because bitcoin market value was so volatile in the market, that could only affect the value of an item and you need to change the of the item depending on the market value of the bitcoin at the purchase. It could be used but it will be great for investment.
3143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 22, 2019, 09:06:45 AM
If He Forget everything on purpose ?  Cheesy ( Like The genius for remember everything 10 years later everything he did making something he is alone able to see them ).

He know governements probably want to kill him or want him to work for them so he take the risk to be forgotten forever as a legend.

Imagine what he was able to do in 2008 already, when no one in world have the power to change the world, he was the one to believe he was able to start the revolution alone and change entire world by himself.

Nothing, he predicted everything perfectly, he will comeback one day i think he is already back but to crazy like 10 years ago no one believe him already.
The government, in my opinion, have no business with the real Satoshi Nakamoto or the creator of bitcoin, even if they know satoshi, satoshi does not commit any crime or anything that is bad he just created a technology or a digital currency that is bitcoin. Also the government could possibly hire him for a technology work in the industry but I think as of today we don't have any information and it is almost impossible to know the creator of bitcoin that is already working for a lot of years, It could easily be a wrong person if someone wanted to be Satoshi and fake it.
3144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 22, 2019, 08:37:15 AM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.
The altcoin market could still recover in the long term, unlike bitcoin that could easily recover in a small-time as it is very volatile in the market.
I think these altcoins is still profitable until today in the market a lot of popular altcoins in the market still have a lot of investors and also a lot of assets in different company.
For me unlike ICO's that is only lead to dead tokens in the market or the ICO is just going to be a scam the altcoins in the market that are already popular still have its market and could still increase and come back on it market easily. Also, the cryptocurrency community is getting bigger and the investors and company that is becoming interested are also spreading around the globe.
3145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to the Ceo of coinbase 1 BTC can actually change your life. on: November 21, 2019, 11:16:20 PM
Love when people say it's dead.Crypto is only 1 decade old. Just imagine a few years or decades more. Patience could really pay off on altcoins. I see it as a once in a lifetime deal. HODL, if you have money . Who risks nothing has nothing. It could happen again be ready or not.
Earning 1 Bitcoin might be a big deal to a lot of people even for me, in my whole thing in cryptocurrency i don't even earn a amount like 1bitcoin so i thing earning this amount is really a life-changing to a lot of people also the bitcoin market price as we all know is so volatile a lot of people have no problem investing in bitcoin but as we know the market price is already high so we cannot buy a big volume of bitcoin that could make high profit when the market price pump. So definitely investing or holding 1 bitcoin will surely give you a high profit for long term investment but also you need to consider the time that you are wasting in investment if I am the one to decide I might just end up investing the 1 bitcoin in a passive income.
3146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read! on: November 21, 2019, 03:14:36 PM
This entire bitcoin space breeds greed, envy, fear, and lust. All you of hodling bitcoin are mentally ill. You have been conned into thinking bitcoin is going to the moon. It's not. Charts show bitcoin is slowly bleeding to death. Bitcoin is no different than Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme where new bag holders are needed to pay off the earlier investors.

Mass adoption of bitcoin will never occur. Sorry! The price is far too unstable to be used as a form of payment. Businesses would get crushed if they took bitcoin as a payment due to the wild price fluctuations. Then you have to worry about the IRS on your ass to pay taxes. Is hodling worth the stress? Absolutely not. That's why women laugh at bitcoin and think it's a scam. Notice the crypto space is all dudes?

Say what you will about the US dollar, but it's still backed by a democracy and the most powerful military in human history. Accepted everywhere. Bitcoin is backed by absolutely nothing. Gold is backed by 5000 years of history of holding value, and is recognized worldwide. Women love gold. It's beautiful and tangible. A real asset worth owning.

I'm sorry, but you HODL'ers are mentally ill and are going to get crushed when bitcoin collapses in the coming recession. Bitcoin is going to get dumped fast as people need money to pay bills and survive. If you bought bitcoin early and already cashed out with gains, you are a wise investor and have my respect. If you're still hodling, your finances and reputation are on the line here. A reputation with your friends and family you can never get back. Don't risk it. Dump your bitcoin now before it wipes you out!

Investing in bitcoin was surely a big risk in your money. But as we know bitcoin was a real digital currency it is a cryptocurrency and it has its value in the market.
It is not a Ponzi scheme as we know there are already a lot of people that become rich because of bitcoin.
Watching bitcoin market price was surely stressful especially when you could see your investment falling apart but as we can see today bitcoin already reach almost 20k$ in the market in the past years and today playing at a price of 7k$-10k$ what makes you think that bitcoin has no potential in making a profit.
If you are not into investing in bitcoin you should not do it anyway, also it is not recommended to invest all your money in bitcoin it will not hurt your brain if you still have enough passive income anyway.
3147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple idea on: November 21, 2019, 12:23:02 PM
Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.
That was normal you cannot see all the tokens in your wallet if not added manually in your wallet.
Your wallet already have tokens that have 0 balance but if you could not see the token you wanted to send you could add it easily in the wallet it happened to me a lot of myetherwallet using the ERC address you have a lot of tokens that are already in the website and you could also add the address of the token. But in your situation nothing to worry if you already see the transaction in the etherscan.io it will not be going to disappear but not going to appear in your wallet because the token itself is not yet added, but if you add the token it will automatically show your balance.

3149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: November 20, 2019, 03:56:51 PM
Yes that is true but this kind of news is kind of expired by now.

Those scammers have done it a year ago and they had been successful.
Now, there is not much people who really want to risk a lot to new projects and it is hurting them. But the old ones are still on going. Bitcoin is one example of it.
Not all will be affected by it anymore.
I agree most of the ICO especially today are all scams and a lot of legit ICO's cannot attract investors anymore.
Investors are already tired of getting their money scam by the Team of scammed ICO's like my self I already invested in a lot of ICOs and most of them are already dead token in the market I think i would rather just put my money in a cryptocurrency like bitcoin investment or an altcoin investment rather than investing my money or bitcoin in an ICO that could potentially just a scam.
A lot of people surely are not interested in investing in ICO because it already lost its credibility and lost to gain profit in a project like this i think it is risky and also dangerous to invest especially this days but still we could easily recognized some legitimate companies that are running an ICO that surely that going to be a scam but potentially becoming a dead coin in the future.
3150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 20, 2019, 03:24:56 PM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?
In my opinion, this guy was already addicted to gambling if are just thinking wise you will never bet all of your money in gambling because as we know that it is risky,
Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose in gambling you that's why we cant bet all of our money because we could easily lose it all in gambling and vice versa we could easily win a good profit in gambling but helping someone that loses in gambling? the guy was already addicted and I think if you help him we will just going to gamble the money and hoping to win and pay you back or try his luck again in the game.
Also sometimes this is one of the user's scam asking for money or bitcoin.
3151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 02:08:56 PM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.
I think it doesn't matter it was just for fun you could play the game and just enjoy the game. People will always judge you no matter what you do and get the wrong idea all the time.
If you are running for councilor you could just skip the game but nothing is wrong in playing or gambling, in my opinion, everybody will going to accuse you as a gambler if you look addicted in gambling but a few games, in my opinion, will not going to affect it so much. But to get a good reputation just don't do anything that is not a good example for the people you should just be a model you could just play moderately.
Tingin ko as IT student madami namang malaman kung may virus ang application or adware.
3153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Pay for Odd Jobs With Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2019, 01:29:19 AM
An unemployed dude comes to your house to ask for off jobs, say to throw away your thrash and mow the lawn. You had no cash but he owns a bitcoin wallet and asks to be paid in bitcoins. Would you pay in bitcoin?
In my opinion, I will not do it because the bitcoin market price was so volatile and it could increase its market price in just a small price.
I think even if the market price value of bitcoin was dump that time paying bitcoin is still not a good practices because bitcoin was still not implemented as a currency but as an investment as we know nothing regulates bitcoin meaning there is no central authority controlling and regulating the bitcoin , We don't even know if it is possible to regulate bitcoin and if we cant regulate bitcoin we cannot make it to its purpose and it is very difficult if we are going to have a single currency that every country could use.
You should just hold your bitcoin instead of using it as payment as bitcoin is still not implemented.
3154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: November 19, 2019, 02:58:17 PM
The altcoin industry have lost some big percentage of patronizers due to the poor performance of the market in the recent months, this have cause so many enthusiasts to lose interest in altcoins in general thinking the cryptocurrency industry can do with them. There's no denied the industry can do without most of the present altcoins but cryptocurrency can't can't survive without altcoins been present in general. No disrespect to Bitcoin as it started the journey but the industry have grown beyond bitcoin.

The achievement and development ethereum as a blockchain has contributed for the industry, if the industry had just bitcoin it wouldn't had recorded such developments. We can't do without altcoins, they have become a part of the industry. The sooner we realized that  the better the industry become. Don't misunderstand this post, I'm not advising against investing in bitcoin or encouraging investing in the present altcoins although, all I'm trying to say is, if you think the altcoin industry is going into exile, think again.

The altcoin industry is only going through a phase which won't kill it and as what doesn't kill you only make you stronger, the altcoin market will come out stronger as the good will be separated from the bad projects although bitcoin will always be a household name. Invests wisely and don't forget the best of the best altcoins are yet to be developed, the current ones I consider them to be just test dummies, preparing the way for future altcoins.

What's your take on this, do you think the industry can survive without altcoins that's just bitcoin been the only currency in the space.
I think the industry can survive it without the cryptocurrency I mean it does when no cryptocurrency was not yet created the industry was still running in away.
The thing is cryptocurrency and bitcoin was already popular in the past year and it created a lot of history, in my opinion, the bitcoin could do it alone without the other token or altcoins in the market I mean it does run in the past years and it is the first created cryptocurrency and i think it will be more valuable if no other token was created. I think a lot of investors are already invested in bitcoin and altcoins so I don't think that this cryptocurrency is going to die soon in the market because they are already popular in the market and some are already getting implemented as digital currency like bitcoin that is already used in other countries.
3155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: November 19, 2019, 04:51:47 AM
I have seen people here as well as on internet who suggest people to go in Bitcoin whatever they earn from their income sources like Job, Home, Real Estate, Other assets etc.

This is not the wise choice. Whether you say good or bad to Warren Buffet but being one of the greatest investors he said " Dont put all your eggs in one basket."

Thing is we are still unsure about the future and adaptability of bitcoin or crypto currencies. What if someone enters in crypto with all what he got and loses due to some volatility?  I have seen people like Didi Taihuttu who sold everything to buy bitcoin. But have you ever thought what was his entry point? His entry point was less than 1000$ per bitcoin. By the way i discourage this behaviour of Didi Taihuttu to put all your money in a single thing.

So be sure where are you going in future and be realistic with your goals and just execute them. No one will have ever written on his grave that "He earned more than the market average."

Kindly dont give bad advice to people here and on internet. Just take it as an opportunity not as a thing to put all what you got.
Probably going all-in is bitcoin was not a good idea for someone not but in everyone sometimes you could get lucky like other people who invested in bitcoin.
And then after a long investment sell the bitcoin in almost 20k$ value but still just like what I say sometimes you could get lucky and sometimes not you could easily lose a big amount of money in bitcoin due to bitcoin market price volatility the market price today is going up and down so quickly so I could say it could still be a good investment for a lot of people and ether way just buy low and sell it in a higher value to avoid the risk of losing profit, stay loyal.
3156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 19, 2019, 01:59:03 AM
First there is an announcement, then there is 3 year Roadmap,
extended each year with meaningless additions, fake recruiting of
employees, trade interrupts, software announcements, wallet updates, changes
quizes, games, givaways, airdrops, forks, ICOs etc, etc, etc.

I've seen several coins with great tech which is perfectly quick and secure, anonymous (or not) and safe.
They all have mobile wallets and wallets for every OS.
Despite this fact they cannot be adopted. Nobody wants to use them, there is no real need for them.
A team of good programmers could develop a blockchain which can replace banks and paper money
in a month. Another month for testing and another month for setting up nodes across the globe.
The main point behind all this is: who controlls these programmers?

Voilla. it is that easy. That is why I think all these announcements and Roadmaps are bullshit.
If you are talking about ICO's and dead altcoins in the market almost all of them are already dead in the market and don't have a market value.
Also, not all crypto is a scam there are still a few legit tokens just like some of the popular tokens today in the market just like bitcoin, ethereum, etc.
A lot of new tokens end up dead and also the roadmaps are just predictions of what could happen and what they are planning in the token it is not guaranteed because they cannot control the market value of the token in the market. The programmers can create a good enough token that could potentially have good market value but most of the time after the ICO the team of developers will forget about it.
3157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: November 18, 2019, 04:37:40 PM
It's hard to take a break from gambling if it's become a habit, what's your Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling, in my case my longest days of break from gambling is 30 days when I take a vacation from a place when there are no casinos, and no internet connection.
i think for almost 6 month i stop gambling after the bitcoin market price go up in 2017 after that the bitcoin price goes down and then suddenly I quit gambling for almost 6 months because the bitcoin price was really frustrating for me and i lost a 400$ investment in bitcoin because of the dump in the market price so I decide not to bet my bitcoin and spend it to a passive income.
After that the do gambling with just a small amount and trying to win in a different games on a lot of websites. I think always winning and wanting to win every time makes you addicted to gambling as all we want is to earn a profit.
3158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 17, 2019, 12:29:10 PM
Invest in crypto currency is not bad option if you compare to investments in other traditional assets like Gold, stocks, bonds, etc. However, the point is which one to invest all or most of your capital?

It is definitely that investors never should invest all of their capital in only one asset, even bitcoin.
My advice is:
- 70 to 90% of your capital should be allocated for bitcoin investment.
- 10 to 30% of your capital should be allocated for altcoin investment.
For the portion of capital allocated for altcoins, you should divide them into two parts:
- The first part: 70 to 90% of them for top altcoins.
- The second part: 10 to 30% of them for new altcoins that you see kinda potential from them. Remember that part is for highly risky investment.
I agree but in my opinion, Gold is always a good investment I think this thing will always increase its price in the market because of the demand.
I think most of the cryptocurrency especially a lot of altcoins are already dead in the market but I don't think bitcoin and other popular altcoins like XRP, Ethereum, etc are going to disappear in the market or even the cryptocurrency itself is going to disappear. I think soon enough it will be used as a currency in a lot of countries even not replace fiat money as a futuristic technology it will still be used as an option of payment in the market.
Cryptocurrency is just like the internet they cannot just delete it.
3159  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mining o Trading? on: November 17, 2019, 10:18:30 AM
  • nkakapagod magbnty parang laging magddown

3160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 17, 2019, 09:52:16 AM
I run a small poll, on the topic of "Why you gamble," it goes without saying why you chose the option.
I would also like to know how old you started to gamble?

If you select an option(1,23,4,5,6), reply

1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?
2.I love- Do you also like alcohol, as you like gambling?
3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?
4.Fun- You play Ofline or online casino?
5.I'm addicted- Ever since you found out you are a betting addict, what is your problem, does your father, grandfather or anybody else gamble a lot?
6.Other- What is the option, explain us a little better?
I think the number one reason was obvious it is because we wanted to win the price in the game or hoping to win the bet in gambling.
Especially in cryptocurrency I think gambling was really is fun but sometimes we just game win every time in a bet or other gambling games but I think we all have this all of this reason but most of all we want to win the game. I do gambling every time I have extra income and I end up winning a lot of times winning the game was fun and addicting so I think this is part of gambling.
