3141  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do I need for avatar/sig? on: May 05, 2022, 09:16:56 AM
~snipped
Oh thanks mate. So thats how those lower ranks with some avatars, I really thought Id just saw some with such error, cause I think a saw a few like 4 to 5 member ranks who has avatar when I scroll this forum.(accidental encounter when reading some thread)

- A few accounts get demoted because they delete (or the mod deletes) enough posts for their Activity to decrease to a lower rank. If a Full Member that wears an avatar does that, I believe he’ll still be wearing the avatar, but it will be locked-in (not automatically deleted).
Would this take effect? For example a full member rank deleted his posts that his psot count reach the member rank position, would he demoted to member but will retain his avatar and merit intact?
3142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What process should I go through, for gathering funds to develop my app idea ? on: May 05, 2022, 07:26:03 AM
Or option 4, do some funding from legit developers choice. There are some who joined hackhaton events or even sponsors event where developers can showcase their project and might secure a funding. Like gitcoin donations, but you can try option 1, but Im not sure how would it go since many have trying icos and ended up with no investment unless the project is really have potentials or you could do a solid marketing first.
3143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate on XRP on: May 05, 2022, 05:20:04 AM
Why do people hate Ripple so much? The moment you made mention of this project they will instantly have a wicked laugh 😅 about it, like this project is just some joke, but how come its still a top altcoin if its that bad? How come such a project even win a war with SEC? I am curious, is there something thats not adding up here?
Because the owner of xrp can sell anytime they want. Do you want getting dumped on? I mean they own majority of the xrp, and if they want they can pump it also, same goes to dump it. Im not sure if the top holder now is not from the team but I am sure it still them who holds the massive xrp. Its not that I totally hate it, for me using xrp is a gift when it comes to transactions sincr its super fast and very low fee. Only the investment part of xrp which i dont like cause Im sure other tokens or coins can be more valuable than them.
3144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do I need for avatar/sig? on: May 05, 2022, 04:49:30 AM
Basically title says it all. What do I need to do to wear a signature and avatar? I would like to start promoting my business here on btalk.
Try to gain some merits to upgrade your rank. But thats not easy as it sound. Or the others they suggested bought a copper membership to be able to ger a premium signature, but it does not include avatar. Only full member rank and above can wear it. But before Ive saw some member rank who are wearing it Im not sure how this happened actually. Maybe before their ranknis full member or got demoted when the merit system implemented.
3145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you say about Algorand on: May 04, 2022, 07:55:06 AM
Guys FIFA has selected Algorand as an official blockchain partner in coming world cup, in fact this isn't the main reason I created this topic, I am surprised why I have never ever look into this project, not even once since I've know about crypto, is algorand a good project? Any fans on here?
One of the project Im eyeing on other L1 projects. I think if bear comes this is one of the project that Im gonna filled my wallet as it showcase potential and hearing the news could cause bullish to other traders but still waiting its atl or at least low price before even buying it. Itd market cap is considerably lower still.

Its not yet as big like avalanche, matic and fantom but could grow in the future.
3146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all hacked on exchanges are real on: May 04, 2022, 06:41:23 AM
The perfect theft in crypto is claiming that a project or an exchange is hacked when its all an inside job, the reason why I think about this is I have never heard about other top exchanges helping a exchange that just got hacked to track their funds and get some back at least but if it's a sole hacker from outside they will track him or them down, why is that?.
Maybe got a point. Its kinda hard to track a centralized exchange on chain, which was hacked. Even the said exchange hacked, there is no showcase of it that can ve seen onchain. There arr plenty of movement in and out of big markets and seeing this will give us only minor views that can ve verified that the hack is that.

Its more seen on decentralized but when we talk avout cex hacked it could be an inside job as well.
3147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $1.6 billion stolen in cryptocurrency 2022 first quarter 165% higher on: May 04, 2022, 06:07:52 AM
The rug pulling of many projects also contributes to the number and they're going to increase since we're just near to the half of this year.
The problem are those shithole scammers. Rug pulling is really a pandemic now on crypto and to avoid being rugged is to stay away from shitcoins and instead focus on trading. But I cant blame those guys who keeps degening. Imagine someone who bought a shitcoin meme of shib whom rich now. Probably he will still invest on new ones hoping to find the same gem he did. Only worse is not everybody are lucky to find that kind of gem and some increases losses instead.
3148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: May 04, 2022, 05:37:13 AM
Trading is not so difficult as it was told. But the difficult part in trading is when to enter the market and when to Close the market. So when do you think one can buy or sell (enter) the market? Using the candle sticks to predict.
Sometimes even candle stick failed. So it safe to assume that no one can predict it right. Of course these parameters are made to be a guide but it does not mean a high accuracy of happening. Well thats really sucks, right? Ive talked with some experienced traders and they did confirm that even they go for a good indicators sometime it didnt go to their prediction. So trading is a lot harder than simply memorizing and familiarizing with this indicators. But it can help us in such ways.
3149  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just realized I was phished... on: May 04, 2022, 05:20:11 AM
So when interacting with the bot and atleast you connect your metamask on those thats where only you got phished? Is that correct? Im asking cause before I got verified by that bot as well but I didnt connect my wallet metamask for any related announcement or page on discord. Also how strong this malicious attempt by the scammers? Sorry for your loss dude.
3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is your favourite crypto game and why? on: May 03, 2022, 06:37:58 AM
Hi Friends

Do you think crypto games can really help in mass crypto adoption? Which is your favourite crypto game and why?
Its happening already. Some of my friends who arent into crypto are now aware of it due to some crypto games that let us earned money. It is actually become the bridge to known and unknown just like that. We are aware that axir infinity helps in the promotion of it somehow and follow by some other games. Now I think it could potentially boost the crypto adoption more.
3151  Economy / Reputation / Re: My campaign journey has ended due to this on: May 03, 2022, 05:55:12 AM
Thats hurting actually. Well just continue or provide service to others. Probably with huge transactions youve done with that services, others might ignore that negative feedback on you for just joining a scam signature campaign. If you succeded on that, then maybe some will drop you a good positive rating and that negative one will be ignored as many are trusted you for your services instead seeing you as a scammer for that mistake of yours.
3152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid to buy Bitcoin in its bearish state? on: May 03, 2022, 05:32:54 AM
Receiving some btc via signature campaign weekly is like doing dca or purchasing btc on different price. I am holding it as I believe in bitcoin could trigger a new ath and we just need to be patience. If were gonna promote it to other investors then we should make sure how they could benefit from it and also how it works not just like buy it and youll be rich in the future.
3153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network on: May 03, 2022, 05:09:27 AM
If you are mining Pi network by cell phone, Please support it! Smiley

Pi INU is MEME Token of Concept based on Pi Network, since Nov.8

You can see the steps of Project team last 3 month

just type pi inu on google

Please see it and say here
This is possible a scam scheme. We all knew that a project like pi network whom doesnt really have on chain isnt a blockchain project. Also they have kyc, without any chain? So whats that a networking project? So for surr this pi inu is another hype scheme also and newbies must be warn. If they gonna make a blockchain project make sure that its somehow worth a while to invest with not like this.
3154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Group Investment Arm to List Blockchain ETF on Hong Kong Exchange ! on: May 03, 2022, 04:47:41 AM
Samsung Group’s investment arm is reportedly set to list a blockchain exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the Hong Kong Exchange during the first half of this year. The ETF will have a structure which is similar to that of BLOK, one of Amplify Holdings’s ETF products.

Details:

We all knew how they are agressive when it comes to tech business. No wonder they will alot huge funding on this which might boost their revenue laton
3155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs aren't just there yet on: May 02, 2022, 01:39:41 PM
Ape got hacked and many NFTs we're stolen, yet we saw many spending hundreds of dollars for gas fee to buy yacht club NFT the other day, are people dense or what?
Their not they just being bullish on anything bayc devs doing that involves another potential nft. This is not a suprise given the profits they received from their ape nft and coins. Isnt this nft are for average joe who wanted to flip a common one since the market for these nft around their ecosystem is highly in demand.
3156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which utilities will survive the bear market on: May 02, 2022, 05:55:25 AM
What type of crypto utility do you think will survive in this coming bear market? Some are saying most layer 1 blockchain projects will fail what about the likes of launchpad platforms, or we should just focus on metaverse only? Since metaverse isn't even close to perfection yet I think 💭 they may actually lead the way in future, what is your thoughts on this?.
Launchpad platforms it will depend on it. Not all will survive the market especially if it has no many users. Regarding L1, if they got plenty of farm and staking relation with good apr then definitely they will survive the market. But the most one yhat can survive above all is the bitcoin. Utility as peer to peer and most decentralized one would always be bitcoin.
3157  Economy / Reputation / Re: selling scamming smart contracts on: May 02, 2022, 05:36:53 AM
I wonder how these people even think to make it as a business. Do they dont have any shame using their skills for this kind of money making? For their skills on coding and smart contract they could even landed a decent job in the real world with legit procedure and way to how to monetize their service instead. Ncie catch OP. These people really like an easy money scheme.
3158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi Lender Rari Capital hacked Offers $10M Bounty to Hacker on: May 02, 2022, 05:25:55 AM
This brings a serious question on the capability of the developer and security programmer of the said platform.  Imagine, the platform is hacked twice in a span of 1 year.  The offer of Fei protocol seems a good move but this leaves me to think that the culprit is within the team, I hope I am wrong though.
Actually your theory mifht be true someone from the inside could be part of the scheme or if not, then we can totally blame the team or dev for this irresponsibility of not having secure their platform. Imagine that many people uses also rarible and this happened. Many will be dissapointed and possibly shift other good platform such as opensea and looksrare.
3159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is accused of providing users data to Russia on: May 02, 2022, 04:01:00 AM
So does it mean Binance afraid to lose the trading volume on Russia by denying this issue? Ops, CZ seems to be desperate, if this allegiation were true. Im an old user of this platform, and it really sad to hear that the only platform I trust would resort to politician issue especially when it involves money. Anyway will follow the story.
