3141  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E Ban on: November 20, 2013, 02:44:32 PM
I accidentally typed in caps. And I couldn't even apologize and explain myself before I was muted.  Tongue
3142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When people say that the bitcoin will crash... on: November 20, 2013, 02:42:37 PM
Also you are assuming people are posting what they are thinking. Most people who yell "sell sell" are waiting to buy.
Also , lots of trolls , bored teenagers , etc.

Exactly, those people who yell "buy buy" are ready to sell too Tongue
3143  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC-E Ban on: November 20, 2013, 02:32:29 PM
Does anyone else think you should be warned before receiving a ban in the trollbox?

I just got a nice mute for accidentally hitting the caps button...  Undecided

I hoard my BTC on a paper wallet honestly Cheesy

3145  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SatoshiBox.com - platform for selling files for bitcoins on: November 20, 2013, 03:19:17 AM
Suggestion: The ability to be able to sell files for less than .01BTC. This would be smart to update due to the current exchange rate.  Smiley

User accounts to track all uploads would also be very helpful!
3146  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi is on C span on: November 20, 2013, 03:17:15 AM
Everytime good things are said about bitcoin she bubbles over with happiness, everytime something negative is said, she gets sad. And yesterday when the Foundation att was talking, she smiled real big when he said "satoshi could be a woman".

It's quite possible she could be Satoshi.

3150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Petition to stop minecraft server. on: November 20, 2013, 01:48:04 AM
What's wrong with children with money? Those teens who have a nice holding of BTC could spend it to buy their first car or put money down on a house.
3151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello! on: November 20, 2013, 01:45:07 AM

Once you're out of the newbie section and increase your post count with quality posts, the amount of time between posts will be reduced.
3152  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gambling script PM: beware on: November 19, 2013, 11:00:16 PM
User rhzao sent the following retarded morsel:

Hi
I just develop a gambling  script for Just-Dice, it uses the bug on the rule of the game and normally could bring over 17 thousand times profit than its initial bet. This script is simple and elegant;  it would run on the Windows 7 or Windows 8 and IE9 or IE10 browser. It would automatically open the Just-dice.com. After logging in, you may set up the initial bet and let the script do the rest.
If you bet 0.00001 BTC as the initial bet, you may get about 0.17 BTC as the profit in just 24 hours. If you raise your initial bet to 0.0001 BTC, you may get up to 1.8 BTC as the profit in the 24 hours. However, I would not recommend any initial bet higher than 0.00025 BTC.
The first 20 copies of the script would be 5 BTC, I will double the price after selling out the first 20 copies.
Here is a copy as a free trail version, and you may create a new account with small amount of balance to test it. Here is the link: (herp)
User manual:
1 Set the default browser as the IE9 or IE10.
2 Run the script: JustDigIt.exe and the IE window would be opened.
3 Log in and the script would read your balance automatically.
4 Set the initial bid, and start the sript!

Thank you

Needless to say, don't go clicking and installing unknown stuff in the hopes of making a quick coin. And if you're using IE in the first place, it's prolly time to take a breather from this BTC stuff and sort out your computer usage skills first. Tongue

To be honest, the latest release of IE wasn't so bad. But, I'll stick to my Chrome Canary  Tongue
3153  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcola idea? on: November 19, 2013, 10:58:21 PM
I propose a cola (or other soft drink) that has a code under the cap redeemable for 0.00001 (private key maybe?)

thoughts?

Interesting, but how could you fit a private key on a bottle cap?

3157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When (Blockchain.info) wants to store data for offline use is that safe? on: November 19, 2013, 07:25:29 PM
When (Blockchain.info) wants to store data for offline use is that safe? Thanks for the info. Very new to this.

Well, welcome to the Bitcoin community. I recommend enabling 2 factor authentication on your account. As the Bitcoin price increases so does the amount of hackers/phishers.

But, yes storing data for offline use is safe.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
3158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens if 2 people generate the same bitcoin wallet address? on: November 19, 2013, 07:22:33 PM
The chances of 2 people generating the same private key is very, very, very, very slim.
3159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hai Guize! It's a SCAM!!! on: November 19, 2013, 04:51:49 PM

3160  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do with 25 bitcoins? on: November 19, 2013, 03:55:53 PM
If someone just handed you 25BTC for no freaking reason whatsoever, what would you do with it?

Save 25 BTC to secure location and check back bitcointalk in 5 years whats going on

One does not simply leave and come back in 5 years.
