When was that picture taken? You've tried auctioning the same coin in August 2018 and the slab clearly shows a crack/big scratch: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4876400.msg43912327#msg43912327

There's no crack/scratch on the slab. It was just a little dirty in the previous photo. Here are some pics from this morning!

12  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] RARE #32 Series A - Satoshi Note on: August 18, 2018, 12:55:37 AM
0.02

This is the current high bid!

The note looks torn, does it have a rip/tear or is that simply a bad crease I'm seeing?

In the middle is a really bad crease, the top half of the crease is a tear, but it shouldn't affect the value of the note

Really? I am a Christian journalist who has a vocabulary substantially larger than the majority of this forum.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenders. on: August 14, 2017, 09:47:50 AM
Transgenders are confused people who are trying to confuse the rest of the society with their moral relativism and depravity.

do you think they want to live the lives they do?

it doesn't look much fun from where i'm sitting.

Actually what cause them to think they'r penis don't belong down there ? It may be due to a complex biological problem which the society has decided to help and accept. Do you see any other out ?

It is gender dysphoria, a mental disorder. The transgender suicide rate is over 50%, a rate much that has not been seen since Jews in concentration camps. Often times people claim we should be "tolerant" and let people be what they want, but you can not ignore biological and scientific reality. Why continue to normalize a mental disorder that will lead most to death?
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuelan war against a dictator. on: August 14, 2017, 09:44:21 AM
Socialism has led to communism every. single. time. I do not know why people fight over and over again for a system that has killed over 100 million people in the last century. I have family that needs shipments of basic necessities like toilet paper, tylenol, protein bars, etc. smuggled in regularly. People are eating trash because the elites control all of the wealth.

Socialism promises equality, but instead makes everyone equally poor.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: August 14, 2017, 09:41:28 AM
You are so right! The government sucks at everything, see these two cases in the last month illustrating massive government waste of taxpayer money.

(2 million dollar park bathroom) http://pix11.com/2017/07/06/tiny-2-million-dollar-public-bathroom-opens-in-brooklyn-park/

(Man built park stairs for $550 after $65,000 government quote) http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/07/20/canadian-man-builds-park-stairs-for-550-even-though-city-said-project-would-cost-65g.html

These are just small pocket-change when compared to the trillions being spent on invading various third world nations. For example, the invasion of Iraq cost the American tax payers close to $2 trillion (till now).

Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security spends vastly more than the Iraq war each year.
As already mentioned, healthcare is a strict necessity that can not go. Furthermore, the spending on health care are only so atrociously high because pharma and insurance companies make up arbitrarily high prices that do not even remotely reflect their costs. It's an outright scam that nobody cares to do anything about, all while voting for some redundant party or presidential candidate that won't do jackshit about any of the underlying core issues.

Don't confuse healthcare with insurance. Insurance is not a right, and regulation is not the solution. Any country who has free healthcare either blows out their debt or taxes you at 70%, causing no incentive to innovate, create jobs, etc. If you increase competition and allow more private insurers to enter the marketplace, the price will drop exponentially.
