When you can’t go anywhere without overhearing people excitedly talking about crypto, get ready to sell.
I am not going anywhere for almost a year now...so that indicator won't work for me ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Just finished up at the poker table in over a year and goddamn it was a breath of fresh air!!!

I am having no luck finding the original address it was sent to. All I am doing is creating new wallet folders on my desktop at this point.
You didn't use MyMonero with this address in the past did you? I am not even sure what MyMonero is. I downloaded this for the Mac version: https://www.getmonero.org/downloads/I then did the "bootstrap" mode when I initially set it up. Thanks! Semper Fi

Here is a good video from someone who was there. I respect Bret Weinstein and Jeremy Lee Quinn for what they are trying to do. Which is bring everyone together and stop the hysteria. If you are left or right this video will not fuel your side. It really dives deep into what the country is facing. Also some surprising information about what happened during the day. The Media is trying to manipulate everyone. DarkHorse Podcast w/ Jeremy Lee Quinn & Bret Weinstein: The Capitol Insurrection, A View from Inside https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFJdjO0fD4EGood video but a little to long. Here is a timestamp to what I think and have always thought to be the real underlying issue with this country and the world as a whole. https://youtu.be/sFJdjO0fD4E?t=2242 When you start pointing this out and people are listening you will find yourself under attack by those that are really in control.

Picking the worst messages you can find, clearly made by disturbed individuals, and trying to pass them of as being representative for all Trump supporters is just morally and intellectually wrong. You can find tweets like this on twitter from disturbed leftists as well if you look hard enough.
Just for fun, show me them. No, I don't wade in that swamp, look yourself. I don't wade in either of those swamps so this thread is where I get these fringe views. And I think they are both retarded.

The US likes to go from one extreme to the other, it seems. Maybe a bit more moderation could have prevented that ? Deleting Trump's racist tweets starting 10 years ago for example, or at least putting the disclaimers they now put ?
Freedom is a dual edge sword.

Parler's security was beyond terrible. They didn't even strip the medadata from uploaded images. Metadata such as: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FErYaYDTXUAACBdm%3Fformat%3Djpg&t=664&c=wEV_IQ-YB-L4ww) By Design. they knew exactly what they were doing.

Also this. I mean they can easily touch the databases.
I’m not a system architect but expect it really depends on the setup. If they are using Bring Your Own Key (which they should be...) then it’s all encrypted and AWS doesn’t have the key. All AWS are subject to side channel attacks.

Hey, you may have to spark up the old exchange software again! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Haha, I hope not ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Regulations have taken all the fun out of it. The only way forward is to completely decentralize trading on permissionless, unstoppable exchanges. I believe centralized exchanges will take a big hit in the coming years as we transcend them with decentralized finance. The old broken financial system is pushing us out, and they will come to regret that. Now atomic swaps are being worked on, and there are experiments with wrapped xmr. Eventually wrapped xmr will be made trustless and allow unregulated, KYC-less trading with massive volumes on services such as uniswap. That will be very exciting. I am very eager-minded towards atomic swaps, but how is Monero solving the issue to swap for example for BTC if you have to be on chain in the same SHA256 environment as the swapable coin? If you have to trust another p2p exchange, as for example bisq, you have no real advantage. So how is Monero trying to solve that? This is a question for the main thread.

Some people say there's no inflation, especially with food prices.
I beg to differ.
Was at the grocery store just the other day, my total food bill has jumped $80/trip in just 6 months time.
Same. Exact. Items.
Also, berries? Holy shit. 32 oz of strawberries are now DOUBLE price what they were 6 months ago. Double.
Similar inflation with raspberries and blackberries too.
I have Strawberries and Blackberries growing in my yard and I planted Raspberries last year so we'll see if they come up this year. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
