I'm new to the forum and I'm still trying to understand most of the rules of the forum and also how the forum works. But with what I have heard and seen so far I think this is one of the best forum I've been a member of.
Loving it here? Very wonderful to know, but you need to be sincere and stay true to your love because as a heads up, it will tested. There will be phases when you may get bored with forum discussions, get occupied with oyher activities that it will take an extra effort to be active here, will your love still stand? we know love dwindles, i sincerely hope your love is not temporary.

Egypt still managed to win and Salah scored the only goal in the match.
Even if the Egyptian team does not look like a team that will get too far in the AFCON regardless of the win, i'm still happy for Mo' Salah that he was able to get his name on the score sheet for his country. He would have come under heavy criticism if he lingered in this competition without getting a goal to his name, especially coming in from Europe in such fine form.

It will be tough game against Sudan in their next game, it will be a decidal for both teams. For the super eagles team, this is one of the best super eagles team we have had in while, the players playing together with so much determination to win, i hope they don't disappoint in the knockout stages. Super eagles for the win! Grin

The Nigerian vs Sudan game just started and Nigeria is already ahead by a goal from Chukwueze! wow. I predict a game full of goals and enough action for the super eagles, still my favourites to win this AFCON. I don't Sudan can bounce back from this early goal against them, the Nigerian team is on fire. I don't just hope we win the game, but also keep a clean sheet.

Reading OP, this is one of the very rare situations where i would really want to be a loser, lol. I can imagine that even the so called losers then, those who got the btc did not see any value in it because of the popular opinion that they lost. The state of regret that they will find themselves if they somehow unfortunately did not keep access to the where the bitcoin was, will be unimaginable, it will be a life lesson, a story on how to be happy with, and see value in your prize.
3145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Grow along with bitcoin on: January 14, 2022, 11:52:40 PM
...Get the understanding and grow.
I believe what OP is trying to say in short is that having or Hodling bitcoin is not just enough, As the years go by, and bitcoin and crypto in general gets more elaborate, try not to hold on to old knowledge, but should try to stay updated and constantly develop and try to increase in your knowledge of bitcoin and the technology behind it.
3146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tools To Upgrade Your Post Quality For Future Reference on: January 14, 2022, 08:41:39 PM
In Conclusion
2: make sure you revisit your old posts and comments to see where you made mistakes and correct them by editing the post, this is not against the rules of this forum, and this will help upgrade your reputation on the forum and also help others who will be using such posts as a reference point to get the right content that will suit their questions.
I strongly disagree on this. We have parts of the things that make history. I visited my first page today, I saw quoting mistakes and sub standard questions, I didn't edit any of them. It will surely remind me how I started in the forum. Editing them to make them quality in order to meet up my present knowledge is to me a self-deceit. I should have somewhere to look back at and have some smiles. Editing your old posts could mean despising your little beginning.

I am in agreement with you @kingsDen, i see no reasoning in editing old post that you made during your growth process here on this forum. It is pretentious to me, trying to act as though you started big. Your post history should be able to reflect real growth, and you should be proud of it. IMO the idea of editing old post that you made some time ago goes against that idea. As a newbie, that's why it is essential to invest time even at the beginning stages of your stay in this forum into making good post that you will not plan to come edit later.

The controversial coach who officiated the match between Tunisia vs Mali is said to be currently in hospital suffering from severe dehydration due to sunburn, I think now I know why the referee blew the whistle the game ended in the 85th minute and he blew the long whistle again 17 seconds before normal time ended causing a commotion from the players, it looks like the referee was so thirsty that he had to blow the long whistle🤣
I didn't watch this match, but i've been laughing every since i saw the highlight Grin. All i can think of is if really there is a football rule that we don't all know that permits or allows a referee to end the match before the regular 90minutes of play or the referee did it to save his life, lol. If there's no rule like that, this may be the end of his career as a professional referee. If you were dehydrated or have health challenges, why not ask for water or signal the other officials that you can't continue?

Cameroon so far has found it's way up people's favorite to win this year's African cup of nations, but let's not forget that even though they seem to be wining win high number of goals they haven't really been tested...
Regardless of how you see it, the indomitable lions are living up to expectations and are setting the pace here at the competition, being the first team to move into the next round of the competition and getting six points with six goals in  just two games deserves some applause. Ekambi and Aboubakar had a wonderful display. I know the tournament is still young, but this Cameroonian team versus the Nigerian team should offer an impressive 90minutes of football.
3149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling for the rich who can afford to lose ? on: January 12, 2022, 07:48:01 PM

On the other hand, there are people who have a lot of money in hand and losing is not a big deal for them. If they win in gambling, they enjoy and if they lose, nothing is lost for them as they have a lot of money in bank balance. They will come again next day and play more without worrying about the money.

In small, you may feel the rich is not losing anything, but if you accumulate the amount from the losses he will have from ignoring the losses he makes regularly, you will know that the accumulated amount can pose a danger to his riches. We know to be rich, can be temporary if resources are not managed properly, so IMO, gambling is as dangerous to the rich as to the poor. The poor who can't afford to loose may stop, but the rich who thinks he can afford to loose is at the danger of poverty.
3150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling addiction?! on: January 12, 2022, 07:33:07 PM
We are all completely different and each of us has our own preferences.
Completely different individuals with varying preferences such that every preference is satisfied. These preferences are most times influenced by the first experience one had with something. I believe the way one experiences something for the first time is a big determinant if the person will return to replicate their first experience. If your first experience of gambling was spectacular, you will definitely want to replicate the experience to me. This is how addiction begins.
3151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teaching your kids to gamble. on: January 12, 2022, 06:46:57 AM

Although they will learn it eventually when they become teens, it's good to remind them before it grows in thier mind that gambling is a source of income.

You make it sound like it is a certainty that all teens must learn to gamble, like it's the norm. Was that how things were formerly, or is it what it is becoming?

Even teaching kids from a tender age to view gambling as a source of income IMO is dangerous. It may discourage them from seeking other more reliable sources of income. Gambling though may be a source of income, should not be considered a major source of income. If considered a major source of income, ask yourself, how will you get the money to gamble with?

Mo Salah on the other hand had a very quiet game. Egypt didn't plan this game well entirely because they were poor but kudus to the boys for the win, on to the next game.
Mo Salah is just one man out of 11 players, a tree cannot make a forest. The Egyptian midfield was no good and it showed as enough balls couldn't get through for Salah, he had only one clear opportunity to shoot. Also i think the Egyptians coach tactics didn't quite match his style of play. For me the only other player that had my attention was Ahmed Sayed Zizo, he threatened the Nigerian defence on the flanks. Against Guinea Bissau, the Egyptian side will need to fix all their shortcomings and go all out for the win to keep their AFCON dreams alive.
3153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet AFCON prediction pool discussion thread on: January 11, 2022, 05:26:21 PM
What a performance front the Super Eagles so far, they've had Egypt defending very deep and their biggest threat Salah being kept at bay, Moses Simon have been the best Nigerian player so far in the game, he's been superb in attack causing at lot of problems for Egypt on the left flank.
If Nigeria can get another second goal in this second 45mins, i think it will be the end of the game, in terms of attack, the Nigerian team is showing quick pace, in terms of defense, the Nigerian team so far is holding down Salah which was something people never expected since Salah at the moment is on top form for Liverpool. Egypt look to be playing to get a draw at the moment, i sincerely hope Nigeria can hold o. to this slender 1-0 lead. Looking forward to the full time score.
3154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 11, 2022, 04:32:29 PM
Today we have:
Nigeria - Egypt (very balanced top game, could as well be a game in the final round, I think the teams will be careful not to lose, I would guess a draw like 1-1 or not more than 1 goal difference)
Been waiting for this fixture since, to see how Nigeria will contain Egypt, and so far i can say that i'm not disappointed with Nigeria, the team seem to be having the advantage against Egypt, Great strike from Senior man Kelechi! Good we have a goal before the half time. I still see Nigeria as favourite for this competition. If we win this game, i can imagine the momentum against other teams, this game is important for the confidence of the team, dominating a strong team like Egypt in their first fixture in this group game is good for this competition.
3155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 10, 2022, 03:16:10 PM
But Senegal was able to win this match from a penalty in the 96th minute and a tragic moment for Zimbabwe players and they just had to hold for 1 more minute to get a draw.

So sorry for the Zimbabwean team, i didn't expect so much from them, they were so close to getting a point at least from this game. On the other hand, is this the Senegalese team that some voted to win this year's AFCON? because i doubt that they will be able to do well against a better team if they rely on penalties to win games. The tournament is just starting, lucky win for them.... However of they decide not to improve and utilize more of their opportunities in front of goal, i don't see the Senegalese team getting to the finals of this competition.
3156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Teaching your kids to gamble. on: January 10, 2022, 01:47:38 PM
There is the case of increasing number of underaged gamblers, will you still teach your little kids to gamble?

The answer will be "no" for most users, but truth is that in reality, most parents who gamble teach their kids indirectly to gamble without knowing, how?

for Sports betting - You indirectly teach your kids to gamble when you leave open your online betting slips, and drop carelessly within the reach of the underaged your offline slip if you didn't bet online. Kids are very inquisitive and take cue from their parents and guardians easily.

You indirectly teach the underaged to gamble when you speak freely and excitedly about how you their parent or guardian placed some bets, visited a casino to have some fun and so on. (be careful what you say around the underaged, they learn quickly especially from someone they look up to.

You also contribute to the increasing cases of gambling when you hide answers about gambling from the underaged when asked. If your kids or any underaged around you becomes too curious about gambling, educate them and let them know the perils of underaged gambling and why it is for adults, answer their questions and clear their doubts, so they don't go find out about gambling themselves.

kindly bring to our notice other ways user's have unknowingly contributed to the increasing number of underaged gambling, so we can take corrections and make amends where necessary.

For the whole game still seems like a sure thing for Senegal.
I seriously was expecting Senegal to be in front in terms of goals by now with the likes of Mane in play, Zimbabwe seem to be holding them down properly, the Zimbabwean team simply need to be more bold and take the defence of the Senegalese side head on, take chances, their safe hand Mendy is not in play, goals should be able to come. In front of goal, Senegal has not really impressed, they have wasted too many opportunities, if they don't win they will definitely regret.

From yesterday's fixtures, we saw enough goals, i hope today's fixtures are not short of excitement and expectations.
3158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 10, 2022, 02:04:24 AM
If Mbappe is really unhappy then he should not be kept in the team. Mbappe is still young, he is somewhat selfish. He prefers to score goals alone.

Very true, it is perhaps one of the reasons i'm not so much of a big fan even though i know he is a very good player. It even showed in the visiting game with Olympique lyon where they(PSG) should have come out with a win getting all three points had Mbappe not tried to do it on his own a couple of times with some goal scoring opportunities. He is lucky they didn't loose all three points in the game and that they are top of the league with eleven points, else he would have been at the receiving end of blames.

Cabo verde 1 - 0 Etiopia

with Ethiopia playing with 10 players and it is almost certain that Cape Verde will win this game,
I knew that It was only a matter of time before Cape Verde gets a goal after that red card against Ethiopia's Yared Baye in the first few minutes of play. A really terrible way for Ethiopia to start this competition, hopefully they can improve play before they play the host Cameron next. So far in the competition, we have see penalties, rough tackles and even red cards from the first and second game, i hope it doesn't turn out to be a rough competition that will have players afterwards returning to their respective club teams with injury challenges.

Next fixtures of the AFCON (January 10 2022)

Senegal vs Zimbabwe - Senegal to win (2-0)
Guinea vs Malawi - Both teams to score
Morocco vs Ghana - Should offer an interesting game of football, both teams to score, but Ghana winning (1-2)
Comoros vs Gabon - Gabon to win (0-1)

(drop your prediction)

Well am impressed with the first half score line between Cameroon and Burkina Faso.
Good to see Cameron the host country setting the pace here, leading Burkina faso by two goals to one, a very tender lead that i hope they can secure because Burkina faso is looking intent to get an equaliser. I am also happy that it is not a goalless start to the competition and great news for those who played the game "Both to score", I'm looking forward to the full time score, still expecting to see more goals.
