Hey Puppet, have you seen this?
Yeah, there are a bazillion such sites. Id rather you not link them as all of them (that Ive seen) are just a way to spam their referral links. You can safely assume their rating is based on referral link revenue instead of anything else. I mean, 5 stars to cryptomine? Riiight. Sure, that's why I linked to the forum topic with my comment in it saying the same thing as you have.

Hey Puppet, have you seen this? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=871601.new#newHe's got some crackers listed there. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I took 10 GHs from hashie.co for free.. is working.. when will reach price of minimum purchase power - i will buy and withdraw.. Do you mind?
Why should he mind? You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

I so much appreciate the effort of this website owner for throwing this together at last cloud mining are going the hyip way, they will be monitored and censored.
They might be, but he's not doing it. It's just like a HYIP monitor site, basically a vehicle for him to spam his referral links, no attempt at analysis, he will link anything with 'cloudminer' in the description.

OK got it. I'm probably unusual in as far as I don't always have email connected when I'm surfing, it would maybe be more logical to have a notification system within the website rather than by e mail?
Thanks for your time.
You don't get email/PM notifications for watchlist topics. That's what the separate "notify" feature is for. All that adding a topic to your watchlist does is add that topic to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=watchlist , which is exactly like "show new replies to your posts" except that it only shows topics on your watchlist. OK, got the watchlist situation. How does the "notify" feature notify me? And how can I drop a post that I am no longer interested in from the "show new replies to your posts" area? Thanks.
Thanks, I knew that ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What I'm saying is that I can't get notifications of posts, the watch function doesn't work for me and nothing adds to my watchlist. I also can't get rid of no longer wanted subjects from "Show new replies to your posts".
I hope this is in the right place, but I can't get the 'Add posted-to topics to watchlist' and 'Add notify-enabled topics to watchlist' functions or the watch/notify options to save. Any ideas? tia.

Excellent post Puppet, these "cloudminers" are springing up like mushrooms, 'arbitrage' is sooo last year for the fashionable scammer.

No opinion on grmining.com, puppet? Their offer sounds nice but I couldn't find much information..
These ponzi's are a dime a dozen, new one's started seemingly every day. If you do come across one that doesnt raise 5 or more of my red flags, or for other valid reasons does not strike you as a scam, do post it and I will check it out. Everything else, especially if you "cant find much info" should be treated as ponzi until proven otherwise. And to be clear, that burden of proof lies with the "company".Why is that so? Because you say so? Playing HYIPs since 2004. Made a 5-digit profit with BT and more with some other HYIPs that lasted 2 years or so...
Yeah Sunny, but that's why this thread is called Cloudmining Overview, not Review of Paying HYIP's Pretending to be Cloudminers. Believe it or not, there are people out here that actually want to invest in genuine operations, run by real people doing real business, and help them create and expand something worthwhile. I understand that you have HYIP expertise and make money out of them, but colluding with criminal, amoral scumbags in cynical ripoffs isn't everyone's cup of tea.

What do u mean by small internal divergence ? Five of u r fighting with each other ? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Humor is always appreciated, of course.. Although, perhaps a bit of respect for our work would be even more so. Even if we are not talking face to face. But to answer your question, yes. We hold mud-wrestling matches every other Monday. The champion gets to answer the wittiest forum comment of the week. As you can see, I'm claiming my prize just now. I was waiting for Your reply ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) and it was worth it! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Johny Depp is a well known troll .. No one will be surprised if you just ignore him .. Yes maybe, but who are the people in the photographs anyway? Is one of them Eric Rosby? And if you're going to get spikey about people dis'respecting your work' over a little joke, then you are probably going to call me a troll as well, but... ..it's just that a cloud mining operation appearing out of nowhere, with a £1 capital company registered at a mailing office a month ago, and starting a generous sig campaign is going to make people interested in who they are and how sustainable they will be.

yes, I think btc will go up, but don't need the money to buy it but for something else. But don't want to sell my btc but giving them as collateral is no problem ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) So, at the risk of repeating myself, just borrow and repay in $ not BTC.
If you actually need $1000 for a month for a specific fiat purpose, why not just ask to borrow $1000 in fiat using your bitcoin as collateral, and pay back $1000 plus agreed interest? At current prices, your security is c.150% of the loan, only becoming an issue for the lender if Bitcoin drops below $250. I don't think you will get 1% per month but I don't see why a lender wouldn't take that loan on in principle. Is there a way to be 100% sure I'll get my sended btc back when i pay back the loan?
That's what an escrow is for, you either trust them or you don't. I'm really new in all of this and don't know how everything works
Looking at your post history, you aren't that new. Forgive me for being cynical, but I think you are hoping to speculate on a rise in the BTC price and want to get cheap leverage by trying to set up a sort of P2P bet disguised as a loan arrangement. Not that there's anything scammy about that, a bearish lender might be happy to do it, but would want more than $10, otherwise they could just sell their own coin on an exchange, buy it back in a month and save all the hassle. Not everyone is so bullish on bitcoin...
No, but I think you are ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Good luck. lol, just buy NOW, don't wait any second anymore before we go up again
Or it could be a cheap way of getting leverage for a month on a hoped for increase in the Bitcoin price, at a cost of $10. Ignore the collateral for the minute, that's just security to be returned by the escrow on repayment of $1000 plus 1% i.e. $1010. Say, for the sake of easy calculation, Bitcoin at the time of the loan is trading at $333.3, he gets 3 BTC = $1000. IF the price goes up to say $505 during the month, then he pays back $1010, now only 2BTC, making a 1BTC profit on the loan (as well as the collateral).

I still don't know where BT pulled their daily profit numbers
Out of their ass. Well, their ass was pretty well tuned to some market movements, so the question is not answered so easily... Not that it matters, or can be proved either way, but do you think they actually ever traded in anything? There seem to be two basic ponzi models 1) Ones which are, from the get go, pure scams pretending to trade but solely designed to gain credibility and deposits until such a time as the admin take the money and run 2) Ones which start off as legit investments and 'go bad'. They have a core business which is real but unexceptional, which is then developed on by the owner for reasons of greed and hubris and becomes a ponzi. If you believe anything that Madoff says, for the first thirty years he was straight. Hindsight is a great thing, but I followed BT quite carefully and came close to a dabble, luckily deciding not to. The decider for me was I didn't believe that John Carley existed, there were too many inconsistencies in the story. If he didn't/doesn't exist then I think BT must go in category 1.

Bitcoin is beginning to smell suspiciously like the Gold market.
The Central Banks don't need an excuse to sit on the paper gold market, they just do it as a matter of course.
