I hope cryptonite #4 is next as I can`t use it at all on 1080ti and its still advertised as (30Mhash 1080ti), I at least expected to work on advertised cards...... who ever told you that it work on 1080ti it does not
It works on my 36 GTX 1080 Ti's at 31-32MH/s. So yes, it does work. Wich driver and operating system are you using? |

Hey SP- just had a crash on the spread miner where by it kept repeating the bat file command followed by is not a kernel function.
this was not a wrong .bat file cause it had been running for a day give or take a few hours. on #11 final
I forgot to merge the fix in the latest version. (exit on gpu error). Will do it later in #12 |

Spreadminer 10 fixed 3 was first released 23 march 2017. The profit was $15 a day on the 1080ti for months/weeks because the price increased and the difficulty stayed the same. When I released #11 I sendt it out to all the donators. Including the march donators.

The thing is just as soon as you break even it is no longer profitable and you end up just having wasted time.
The first spreadminer sp-mod was released i 2015. The diff will go back down and the coin will be profitable again. So what is the best course of action? drop another 0.05 and go for nexus. Or go opensource till spread picks up? Nexus sp-mod is very profitable right now but you can always mine ether btw spreadcoin difficulty has fallen from 240 to 218. Miners use profit switching tools and jump on and of coins all the time..  |

sp_, I think what most are saying is that we'd be good using the miners with devfees, but the upfront cost is to high/risky.
Claymore just released a faster ethereum miner for NVIDIA cards(24-25MHASH on the 1060 3gb).1-2% fee You see the spike in the difficulty? If everyone has access to faster binaries, less for you in the long term. We all share the same pot of coins. |

The problem right now is that most algos are in the shitter. Lower prices, more miners, higher difficulty. 65 577 GHASH. If each gpu does 20MHASH in average, we are talking about 3 278 850 gpu's! And when they can't mine ether anymore, what will they mine? The spreadcoin network is perhaps around 5-10 000 gpu's Look at the Ethereum difficulty curve: Doubled in just 1 month. |

The biggest problem is the marketprice... All coins seem to crash now. But don't worry, this has happened before. Prices will be back up again soon. The current spreadcoin network is around 3000 AMD rx 580 cards mining with the opensource miner. If someone add 3000 cards and the price stays the same, the profit goes down to $7.5 a day. So then you can switch to nexus or cryptonite sp-mod to keep the $15 a day.
These coins are not so small, cannot be mined on multipools or nicehash so you don't need to share the profit with the newbies.

Interested to see Nexus CPU time reduction. Nexus #7: Early results show around 190MHASH on the gtx 1070. The kernel code is working fine, the miner code/wallet is not. Today I added the abilitiy to select wich gpu's you want per process. similar to the -d parameter in ccminer. Then the workaround for the 2 core bug is to run the miner in 3 instances with 2 gpu's in each instance. Seems to work, but still with too much cpu usage. Needs some more work,. ETA will be next weekend or later. |

According to the nicehash calculator a gtx 1070 is now down to $2.3 per day in profit. In january 1 gtx 1070 only earned $1.2 at nicehash. So this might the begining of a new crypto iceage https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calc |
