...//...:
There are no casinos for novice players, they do not exist and will never exist, it is a bad premise for those who start by trying their luck ...
of course  there isn't any, as casinos mainly wants it to be accessible  to all, not just for Novice. Btw, isn't  Dice and other easy games stuffs like that are likely to be considered for Less Experienced  Gambler?
I once played poker out of nowhere and just by bluffing it all out.,
I don't think that there are any gambling sites that are noob friendly. Let's keep in mind that they are made to generate income (For them), taking advantage from your loss. They're profiting from you and novices' ignorance, making them think there's such a thing as quick money.
3142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit Coin hits 55,000 USD on: February 19, 2021, 11:33:53 PM
Quite annoying, especially if you are interested in buying Bitcoin. I was looking at the price in the morning and it was at approximately $51.000, didn't have much time though so I checked now, without having bought any. Well, don't know how much I've regretted not buying in the morning. This price rally is astonishing. Surpassed $55.000 like it was no ordinary achievement.

I cannot remember if it has been mentioned from anyone else, but, that's a great suggestion! I signed up, and I find it almost if not perfect. I love the layout and the design, it has an integrated faucet, from which you can claim a variety of coins daily. Moreover, you can do a variety of tasks (Daily login, Claim for faucet etc) which offer TXT coins in return.
Yeah, pretty decent casino and also a sportsbook. In case you guys missed out they have a blog of their own where they provide predictions about betting and I was impressed when I first read some of the tips they share about betting. Also they offer free bet for sports although they don't cover a massive number of live events but still enough markets to make bets on events like NBA.
Not really fond of sports altogether, I don't watch, nor participate in any kind. I'm mostly referring to the ones that are popular on sport betting, soccer and basketball mostly.
Not to mention, it also has the Crash game, similar to Bustabit's, which had pissed me off after the multiplier crashed at an extremely low level 5 times in a row.
Haha I haven't tried their bust game yet but overall I was impressed when I first signed up and checked the website. The only thing that made me not bet there much was I could not find how their VIP system works because stake offers me daily reloads, weekly bonuses and on top of them all, the monthly bonus and to wager somewhere else I must get something better than my previous casino.
It's an annoying game that in the end, it'll probably beat you, like most of so-called luck games, I'd check it out if I were you. Not really bothered by VIP systems and so on, since I'm not really interested in getting it to know any further.
3144  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchanges' Trading Fees on: February 18, 2021, 08:04:23 PM
I know, I hadn't thought about it till I opened my transaction history. I'm not a daily trader, but depending on the circumstances, I'll trade 3-4 times a week, if we take into account 0.5% for every trade, it's a tremendous amount I could have saved if I was in another exchange. (for 0.01 BTC which costed somewhere around 370€, I'd have to pay approximately 2 + 2 euros to buy and sell. It might not seem excessive at first, but if you totalize your 10,20,30 transactions, multiply it by 2 Euros it would be 20,40,60 Euros respectively.
If this your problem, why not you didn't transfer your fund into another exchange that has the lowest fees compared to the one that you've said it has terrible fees upon per trading.  An exchange that supports hundreds of coins, security, transaction speed, high volume per coin, and most of all the cheapest fees.

I didn't have any experience from the exchange that what you've said, but if feel uncomfortable while in trading it's better to transfer into a good one.

You can try to have a look at this article, an exchange that has the cheapest fees.
"Cheapest Cryptocurrency Exchange"
I'll move to Binance, but haven't done it just yet. I'm not sure which is the most cost efficient way to transfer my fiat and crypto balance. They're charging 3 Euros for fiat balance withdrawals and 0.0005 BTC, from which the latter seems way too much. I think it would be best if I sold my BTC and then simply withdraw as Euros.

It looks too much of a hassle, that's why I haven't done it yet.
3145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: February 18, 2021, 01:45:46 PM
Is there really a new gambling site?
Every gambling site may be suitable for all gamblers. But, it may also depend on what betting we are going to play.
We can try every site of gambling and start being a newbie there. And for this case, if we are a newbie, should we play on gambling that is easy enough? Without Betting much money and also start learning from the basics about gambling itself. If we are newbies, we may not bet for a high amount because we will get higher risks moreover if we have no experience. And I personally will not choose gambling with only luck for this.
I consider myself a newbie due to me being a complete rookie with gambling altogether. Thus, I wanted to get to know the sites that other users from here are using and have hands on experience with them. I know, there is a plethora of gambling websites out there, but it's different when someone of trust is recommending them. Provides a sense of security and trustworthiness.
3146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchanges' Trading Fees on: February 18, 2021, 10:26:18 AM
What exchanges are you using? I'm currently using Bitstamp, I have no issues so far, it inspires security to me. However, it only offers a small variety of coins (BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, LINK, XLM) and a few others, at the same time though, its fees are quite high, at 0.5%.

Looking back and my transaction history, I've spent a respectable amount in fees, which is definitely a waste of money.

I've also used Kraken, but didn't really like its design and layout, I don't remember why I moved my funds to Bitstamp though, long time has passed since then, and I've got no clue.

Don't use Bitstamp. They've got a notorious reputation for draconian KYC as well as being super nosy about proof of income and stuff like that which are usually not assessed in normal KYC/AML.

0.5% fees are also absurd imo. It doesn't make sense to pay that much unless a) this is your only way of getting fiat into BTC and b) you are definitely planning on holding BTC for the very long haul.

I never had any issues with verification and so on, I remember verifying with my ID/Driver's license only and wasn't asked anything else since then. However, I've heard about harsh KYC measures and other incidents from other members here. I wouldn't be really happy if it ever happened to me. I have these coins since 2014, I can't even remember how I got some of them, if they ever ask me.

If you are an active day trader making numerous bid and ask orders just in a single day, that 0.5% will really hurt you a lot. Imagine making 10 orders in a day, you are already charged 5% all in all with that. That's too high.

I know, I hadn't thought about it till I opened my transaction history. I'm not a daily trader, but depending on the circumstances, I'll trade 3-4 times a week, if we take into account 0.5% for every trade, it's a tremendous amount I could have saved if I was in another exchange. I've joined plenty of signature campaigns that promote gambling platforms. I tried all of them since I'm curious how good their platform is. All of them are user friendly and I doubt that you can't handle those because it was made for any gambling users even if you aren't a techy person. I'll recommend the signature that I'm wearing right now, not because I'm a participant of their platform, you can check my recent posts and already bet plenty of btc on their site, very easy to use and there's also a market bet for politics. I also recommend other such as freebitco.in and roobet, made some review about them because they have a lot of minigames to play.

I'll second this. Again, I'm wearing the Futuur signature, but again, you can check my posts and see that I've already been betting a lot on the bitcoin markets. It really is an excellent site - and I'm not being paid to say that! It's early days and some of the markets are quite thin, but it offers a lot more than traditional sports betting, with markets across business, science, entertainment and politics - as well as the facility to suggest your own betting market. And if you're unsure about putting bitcoin on the line, there's also play money markets so you can test the site out.

I concur. Gambling sites that has signature campaign here in this forum provides a decent gambling platform, they won't promote it and have a signature campaign if they are not confident about their gambling site platform. Besides, checking out gambling sites that has signature campaigns gives you an assurance you need that you're safe and your funds as well while you are playing, no need to google it, just look at the Services thread and you could see a lot of what you're looking for.

Always gamble responsibly.
Definitely true. I've checked most of the casino's/gambling sites that are advertised here and had no complaints. However, I'm not really interested in becoming an excessive gambler, thus, I'm not that interested to explore each website/game/casino available, don't want to get too attached/addicted to it. Trustdice looks good so far, has a few games and a faucet.
3148  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC HIT $50000🎯 on: February 16, 2021, 07:54:08 PM
This pretty much sums it up for me. Feels nice to reach yet another milestone, but we all knew it was matter of daay after all those good news so othing changes much really for me, I keep on hodling as before.

Are we going to see another ATH soon or the day will be remembered?
Both. This day will vbe remembered as the day BTC reached over 50,000 but in the same time it will keep on going as bitcoin is in price discovery mode. I seriously doubt that we will experience sudden dump after this, but even if that happens it's not a big deal. I am at the point where I don't care about dumps and corrections as I see it as an opportunity to acquire more BTC.
Indeed, it was a matter of time it happened. Let's keep in mind that it's been flirting with the $50.000 goal for quite a few days now. It like it had already happened, because it was bound to. Now, we need to set new goals $60.000 won't take that long to happen either.
3149  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lost wallet? Help me find out on: February 16, 2021, 10:21:19 AM
Maybe try "Garlium": https://xske.github.io/garlium/

It is supposedly an Electrum fork for Garlicoin

Also, I must apologise... I forgot that Electrum stores the wallet history in the wallet file... so that would explain why it could see it all, but didn't actually sync properly or allow you to send. It's when you import private keys that it needs to scan from scratch. Undecided
No worries mate, I actually opened the wallet file with Garlium, instead of another one I had downloaded from the official Garlicoin website. Works fine, despite the fact that...it has 5 coins only. lol.

I still appreciate your time and effort you put into helping me. I wish we could have actually recovered something of worth, then I would have definitely sent you a reward as an appreciation of your effort.
3150  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lost wallet? Help me find out on: February 15, 2021, 10:54:47 PM
Yeah... if it shows a transaction history (not necessarily a positive balance Tongue), then the likelihood of it being something else are about the same chances of randomly typing in a private key and it being to one of Satoshi's old addresses Tongue
Alrighty, I got news, but not necessarily good. It got me excited at first, at least I had some euphoria feeling for a while. Saw 107 coins, multiply that by $28 each BTG, I was like "I'm rich!"

Well nope, although it appears to be fine, when you try to send to an address, it says that you're using a low fee, despite using the max possible fee you can. The reason for this? It's not a BTG wallet, went through transactions, and they wouldn't appear on the BTG explorer. Googled one of the addresses and found that it was...GARLICOIN, for God's sake I felt so disappointed.

Not even that but also, I tried recovering it by downloading a Garlicoin wallet but couldn't find how to import that wallet file. I mean, it's $2.5 worth of coins, but supposing that one (Nope) day they were worth something more, I could make something out of it.

Thank you very much for your assistance so far!
3151  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lost wallet? Help me find out on: February 15, 2021, 09:28:23 PM
One more question please, could it also be something else? Like Bitcoin Cash? I mean, can those two get confused? If I open it with ElectrumG, will it be BTG 100%?
Definitely not Bitcoin Cash... BCH used either the identical addresses to Bitcoin (as it was, falsely, claiming to be Bitcoin Roll Eyes) or their "cashaddr" format... but it could be another altcoin that also used addresses that start with a "G" and has a fork of the electrum wallet.

I'm not aware of any other altcoins with addresses that start with a "G"... but then, I haven't really looked... the main one I know is BTG.
I see, not currently at home to download ElectrumG to try it out. Let's suppose I import the file and shows a balance of 5 BTG for instance, I guess it's fine then? I mean, then it's confirmed to be 100% BTG and not something else, right?
3152  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lost wallet? Help me find out on: February 15, 2021, 09:08:39 PM
It's a JSON format wallet... and it looks a lot like the Electrum wallet file format:
Code:
{
    "addr_history": {
        "12B..........................HR": [],
        "13Q..........................BX": [],
        "13i..........................u9": [],

        "1HK..........................Sj": [],
        "1Ha..........................oK": [],
        "1LZ..........................ib": [],

        "1Q4..........................qt": [],
        "1QL..........................tN": []
    },
    "addresses": {
...

However, given that the addresses all start with a "G"... it's not a Bitcoin wallet... possibly Bitcoin Gold? Huh  You could try opening it with the BTG fork of Electrum called "ElectrumG" from here: https://bitcoingold.org/electrumg/

Great work, thanks! Cannot even remember I had such wallets, of any other coin though. It's quite fascinating that I keep finding wallets, addresses and 12 word phrases. Will download it and report back as soon as possible.

Thanks again!
3154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Getting rid of Bitcoin Gold on: February 15, 2021, 07:03:40 PM
As someone from the US. Where can I got to get rid of this Bitcoin Gold. It is stuck in my Coinomi wallet, but is too small of an amount to coinswap. I've got like $28 worth of it. Not a big deal, but every dollar counts.
If a trading pair is available just trade it to ETH then send it some wallet that does not have very high fee and after that what you can do is literally just swap it for bitcoins which would mean that you did save a little on the fee and on the same time you did also earn some BTC that way and even if in the whole process you have like 20$ worth I think that's still good considering the price is rising and at the same time I think you know that they have free trading pair every month or week on different sites and therefore you can exchange without any fee so you can just wait for those days and therefore I believe you will have a good sum because even i believe that 20$ is no less !!

Quite worthless of a coin it is. Have about 0.5 and cannot sell it nor do anything about it. Not that its worth anything, but it's funny having a coin with the word "Bitcoin" in it, and be totally worthless. I don't have much, but I'd rather buy Doge with those 0.05 than keep BTG.

I did not actually claim it till now and I was thinking of talking to some agency and getting my coins but unfortunately reading all these reviews I do think I won't just go that further into it.

Thanks though I just engage with Bitcoins and ETH and have never even considered buying some other coin.
If you had a decent amount of Bitcoin, let's suppose one Bitcoin, you'd get 1 BTG, but currently is worth $28, which is close to nothing compared to what one Bitcoin is worth. I wouldn't have claimed my BTG, if it didn't happen automatically by my wallet, BitGo. I'm not sure of the necessary procedure in order to claim BTG, if it's too much of a hassle, I wouldn't bother.
3155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not reach $50,000 on: February 15, 2021, 05:49:19 PM
I realized that the market would be more interesting if bitcoin will not reach $50,000 at this bull run.

Just like the last bull run, bitcoin did not reach $20,000 and the price corrected hard.
So I'm thinking maybe it could happen this time and we will call it " bull run over" while watching the price dump.

What do you think ?
Its bloodbath all over the market before touching the $50k after this small correction It will finally reach this level but be very careful from here as for sure a lot of sell pressure will happen and afraid it will be like 2017 that its the final top in this bull market, $50k is imminent and a huge correction -30%-40% after this is also possible so always take profit.
We could easily imply that the $50.000 goal has been reached already, I mean a difference of $400-500 doesn't change much. However, the case here is way different to compare with 2017. Bitcoin is now receiving world-renowned publicity (At a greater scale than 2017) and this current bull run is being backed by corporations and investors who took action by investing millions.

Let's also bear in mind that many other corporations have integrated Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in their service in the past year, such as Paypal, Revolut and others that I'm not familiar with.

Moreover, this isn't a bloodbath by any means, the prices have recovered to yesterday's levels already.
3156  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lost wallet? Help me find out on: February 15, 2021, 04:09:22 PM
I've found a 12 phrase on a text document and another long "word" with random letters. Starts with xc2.....2om, it's 32 characters long. Have no idea what it could actually be.
Anyone of any assistance please? What is this "wallet" file, that 32 character object? Any chances that the 12 word phrase belongs to another coin?

Open the wallet file in hex editor (like hexinator) and post the screenshot of it,  so we can identify with the header what kind of file is that.

Okay, I downloaded Hexinator and opened the file with it. I have no idea what this thing is, posting a screenshot. I hope you can understand what's going on here. Report back if you need me to do anything else with the file.

Pardon me if I'm wrong but I don't see anyone else talking about trustdice, been using it for a while and the games there are actually a lot, definitely good for newbies who are looking forward for comfortability and endless choices of games to play on, not only that but based on my fact checking skills, trustdice is 100% legit, been using it for a while and everything is actually good

Pretty great results! I'd be happy if I made 100 Euros a month by trading, lol. I've been messing around the past few months but didn't have huge success to be honest. It would be a pleasure if you or someone else could post some general advice. Would be nice to hear it from someone who  successful. (At least more successful than me lol)
3159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Don't trust web wallets, don't trust exchanges, then where to trade? on: February 14, 2021, 09:57:38 PM
So, how do you trade in these cases? Only p2p exchanges? But it's not flexible and you may miss a good time frames where you could profit 1-2% of your balance.
There are literally no restrictions in trading in reputed exchanges and if you think you trust the exchange then you carry on with your usual business. The only advice anyone sensible would give is not to use web wallets or exchanges to hold the coins for the long term as there are many who does the simple mistake of holding the coins for the long term in exchanges for the ease of trade because of the network congestion.
I've used Xapo at one point (2015-16) and BitGo, which until recently had the majority of my coins. I had no issues with BitGo, I was also provided with the private keys on sign-up. Furthermore, I never had any issues with the support or the wallet itself. It's one of the online ones I would totally recommend. It also supports Litecoin and Bitcoin Gold or Cash, don't remember which of the two.

Xapo on the other hand, is lacking support. I haven't used it for years, but when I tried to recover my account, their support was unhelpful. It's been over 10 days and still haven't managed to recover it.
3160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: February 14, 2021, 06:31:10 PM
I think that the OP is referring to a larger scale of corrections, which isn't happening anymore, especially after the recent Tesla/Elon Musk incident. If we take a look at the following graph, we won't see any major corrections. The prices had crashed only to a small percent, such as 4-5% at most.

The following graph is exported from Coinmarketcap, for the last 3 months. If we observe it, we'll notice that there are only few corrections, and we won't notice crashes of large extent. I don't think we'll see any major ones in the near future.
