3141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 15, 2021, 08:53:13 AM
I'm really excited for this clash too! Both are talented, skillful and tough that's why this is also a must awaited fight after Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant match. And yes, we know that this match will be a close one and it's very unpredictable in all aspect to know who's going to win and who's going to lose, but it's going to end via knockout or split-decision. It's just it saddens me that most of the viewers and analyst are looking down on Porter because he's tagged as an underdog compared to Crawford who is a champ and has a clean record.
But we'll see who's going down this weekend  Grin
Even I pick Crawford, but I'm not underestimating Porter isn't good boxer since he's an underdog here. As you mentioned Porter is tough and experienced, there's chance will be upset but probably I'm not confident since he fight with Crawford.

Crawford is insane his last 5 fights win by TKO, but I guess this fight he will win in unanimous decision... it's hard to knock down Porter.
Agree, Porter hasn't been solidly knock down or knock out in his career, it's all like he was knock down due to fatigue in the fight. So I doubt that Crawford can put a dent on Porter's chin here unless he really hit him so hard that he didn't expect it.

So this might be ended up in a UD for Crawford, but a very tough and rugged fight for him. It will not be an easy fight. Porter might win a couple of rounds as well.
3142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 15, 2021, 08:22:38 AM
Sad to see the Warriors receiving their 2nd loss of the season and it's on Hornets which they defeated at a huge number a week ago.
I am expecting to witness another record breaking streak and it's now it's gone. I wish they could make another and pump up the basketball fans.
Probably the biggest factor is that they are playing away from home. Curry was taken out of the equation and so is Jordan Poole, Wiggins and Draymond can do only as much, Lee was also check and had a horrendous shooting night.

Clippers on the other hand might be exhausted with their game versus the T'Wolves. Upon checking the stats, both Bulls and Clippers are almost identical in defense and offense. But, after Lavine hit that last 3 pointer, you know the game is over.
I think Clippers is on the back to back games? maybe they got exhausted and fatigue in this game because it was evident in the first quarter as they were blown away by the Bulls. Although they take the lead at some point in the 4th quarter. That was there last stand, as the Bulls pulled away.
3143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 13, 2021, 11:09:27 AM
^^ Yes, we wanted both Donaire and Casimero to win. And even if Donaire losses this one, at least it will still be a Filipino.

However, I really don't like to see Filipino vs Filipino, might be better if they are going against a different nationality so that it will not be hard to choose and who are we going to support in this fight. Maybe they can talk reunification later if any one of them beat Naoya first.
3144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 13, 2021, 10:39:11 AM
Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I want to invest in a promising project called CheckDot. Their token sale starts this weekend and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.

Share your thoughts on such an investment. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.
Right now? I'm no longer interested on investing on new projects, I'm also satisfied with my portfolio that I don't want to make it complicated in my end. I have invested way before the bull run last year so I already filled my bags with good and solid coins.

Not sure about what you are shilling here, CheckDot, never heard of it.

Again, always DYOR, not just because someone says it's a good project you will readily invest your hard earn money on it.
3145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 13, 2021, 10:01:11 AM
Was surprised to see the Warriors blow out the Bulls. I may have underestimated how good the Warriors will be this year. They’re the best team in the league right now without 2 of their starters…
No surprise though, I mean it was in GSW home court and then they have the momentum going into this game. They played good defense too and Lavine and DeRozan was limited in the third quarter.

Draymond Green had another good game, Gary Payton Jr, playing like his dad, pick-pocket (in a nice way). And then Igoudala, who still have that hop and can dunk. This is like the championship GSW that we've seen before, a bit scary.
3146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling fraud and it settlements on: November 13, 2021, 09:36:31 AM
If you are a victim of that, you need to reach the local enforcement if the customer service cannot do anything about your case. I think it's essential that you need to check the background of the casino or the gambling site that you are going to participate in because that's going to be crucial if you deposit some money or not. It's always going to be like that, and you cannot blame anyone else if you deposited in a site that's not reputable or doesn't do anything about scam accusations against them.
I doubt though that local enforcement has help you with such case. Who has the overall jurisdiction of the case? That is the big question specially in online bookies.

If it's a gambling site related to cryptocurrencies, I suggest searching the forum first before anything else. You might miss out on something important if you don't.
Yes, we even have dedicated board for that, to raise your concern. But it will be like "he said, she said", so you better be prepared of all the evidences, screen shots of the messages or email conversation and then maybe the community can help in settling the case.
3147  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 12, 2021, 10:09:26 PM
I have to say I haven't seen much talk about a crash, rather two camps arguing about if we will have a bear market or if we are in a super cycle. I'll put out a crazy idea here, but I would say that you need more stability to ever experience a crash. Just my 2 cents.
And so far, the winner is the super cycle phase, just this year alone, we have seen bitcoin breaking and establishing a new all time high and then we are  talking about an end of the year super fast rally to 6 digits.

Of course, bear market will come,  that's how the market work, but it might be delayed for a bit as bitcoin is still not yet done with this bull run and there are different sets of investors now, not just retail, but institutions and government too. So it's a whole new different ballgame now for us.
3148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 12, 2021, 08:35:12 PM
I'm the first one to vote for GGG? Lol. In any case, I think GGG can still fight at high level even at his age. I mean this guy has made successful defense of his middleweight for x times already maybe he know holds the record for most successful defense? (I may be wrong though).

So I agree with the majority here, GGG will be the odds favorite against the Japanese fighter, no offense to him but we might see another KO victory for GGG.
3149  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k price recovery achieved on: November 12, 2021, 08:05:56 PM
Ever since the Bitcoin all-time high price of 64k in April 2021 before it drops below 30k before recovering gradually and today another landscape was achieved with Bitcoin now selling for $60,234 this price indicates another exciting bull season before the end of the year 2021.
Since the bitcoin price managed to break the new ATH record it reached a few days ago, the upward trend in the price will continue in the rest of 2021. Even after the bitcoin ATH break a few days ago, many analysts predict the bitcoin price towards $100k early next year. Therefore, if you are a long-term investor, don't worry when the Bitcoin price drops slightly, take this opportunity to buy.
Hopefully, that can happen before the end of this year so we can celebrate the highest price of bitcoin by selling some bitcoin to make a big profit. And when the price drops again, that will be your good time to buy more bitcoin at a low price so you only need to hold with the other amounts of bitcoin that you already have. The last ATH can be broken in the future because bitcoin price can go towards the next highest price so we should have more patience to wait for that time.
Yes, most people predict that by the end of this year, the end of December to be exact, the bitcoin price is predicted to hit 100K and there are still a few more weeks to get there.
and I am still optimistic that it will happen and the current decline is the right time to buy bitcoin, and every time there is a new ATH there will be a decline or correction and after that it will rise again and exceed the previous ATH, so this decline is the right time to grow ownership because the new ATH will exist again and continue like that.
Another great opportunity to buy back at it is very cheap again. Yes, we still have a full month of December to really push the price to 6 digits, but we need some news to sell it to investors, a FOMO. Not sure what news it was or probably another ETF approved.

But I still positive that we are still very much in the bull run session, it's that that we need to stop this herd from running, refuel and give some breather. Because once again, if this bull continue to run up to December it will be hard to stop.
3150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 12, 2021, 10:58:53 AM
^^ I have them -2.5 though, it's the opposite beat but the result is the same.

It was a tight battle, Clippers took a good lead but the Miami Heat is not going away without a fight. 4 clutch FT though by Reggie Jackson seal the win for the Clippers. I thought though that there was a foul in the last play, but lucky for you the referee didn't make a call. So congrats as well.
3151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 12, 2021, 10:19:16 AM
The Drummond block was questionable though. It could have been a 76ers possession but the referee failed to call it right and whistled for a foul.
They should've given the possession for 76ers instead since someone actually rebounded the ball or the other team should not have the choice for who will jump if ever a jump ball was called.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkvvjKpvc9k

Gobert and Turner has this scuffle with multiple ejections. Just a couple of days ago we have the Jokic vs Morris incident and now this one.
Gobert don't usually fight even if he was beaten up below the rim but this one is different when Turner intentionally used his shoulder while running down.
Mitchell should also not overreact for those kind of fights that will cost them the entire game. There's still a lot of time there and its a waste for them to lose just because of that.
Regarding the jump ball, Drummond should have the advantage on that, however, they failed to capitalized and let the Raptors get the possession.

I've seen Gobert getting frustrated or irritated from time to time. Maybe Turner just got into his skin because in this game there are times that Gobert was covered during a alley-oop.

Yeah, some when Jimmy Butler wanted to take the whole Nuggets team. Maybe Mitchell just wanted to be the leader of this Utah team and send the message that if they messed with Utah, he will be the first one to go after them.
3152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 12, 2021, 08:45:05 AM
I am definitely rooting for Vasyl Lomachenko as I believe that Richard Commey will not be able to stand all the rounds against him. In my opinion this fight is a guaranteed way to increase my deposit. It is a pity that the bookmakers are giving too low odds to win Lomachenko.

Well, the bookies need to make the money and they know for a fact that Loma is the favorite of this bout so what better thing to do than lower the odds on Lomachenko so they can secure large sums of profit. Lomachenko is way ahead against Commey so I don't see how Commey can get a win against Lomachenko. Maybe sheer determination or something like that.
Bookies have punters to make the odds for them, they can't simply manipulate it to be in their favor. From Vegas to fiat bookies to illegal bookies, everything should be in the norm. Otherwise it will raise a red flag and it might be a reason for investigations, although for crypto bookies we don't know who will do it but so far all reputable sports bookies doesn't have this case of manipulating the odds or something like that. They can make some adjustments, but if you are going to compare them to any other sports bookies the odds are going to be close enough.
3153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 11, 2021, 10:59:24 PM
~snip~
Gaballo could introduce himself to the world if he wins in this match.
^ The chances that he could be a win is just a little and it is probably the odds are on the Donaire side.
I have felt that Gaballo will not able to win this fight since I know Donaire has been more experienced than Gaballo. However, I am baseless here when it comes to technical analysis because if luck is on Gaballo he could be able to introduce his name to the public.
Nevertheless, as I say, I don't want to guess and baseless point, let us see the fight if who will be gonna win.
His chance might be slim against Donaire, but he has to give his 100% in this fight. He respected Donaire and call him his idol. But when the bell rings, it's just the two of them and for sure he will fight to the 'death' because everything is on the line here. Because he knows if he win, then more fights for him in the future, means more money. And that's what most Filipinos are targeting, Manny Pacquiao did open the doors for them and many are trying to follow his footsteps, specially fame and glory and money.
3154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: November 11, 2021, 09:36:57 PM
I just find out that it's not easy to win going coinomi airdrops, I've participated in 10 different airdrops and never get paid at all so when I rechecked I always see like only 1000 people selected out of 300k or more, why airdrop in the first place when only few people will be selected ?
Now, airdrop is becoming a lottery? Lol, I haven't joined any airdrops since 2018 to be honest, so I don't know the landscape of it.

And it's pretty obvious that the airdrops you choose is somewhat reputable, - Coinomi and that's why it is limited to 1000 people alone. And as I have said, it's lottery so you need to get a lot of luck just to be able to get your name pick up. In any case, I'm sure majority of us here is done with airdrops anyways, not gonna waste my time on that. So I wish you good luck joining airdrops.
3155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 11, 2021, 09:15:23 PM

It's more on business than pride. I'm sure that Lopez would just fight whenever there's huge money involved. Most boxers focus on earnings than creating a name because some of them consider this field as a business and not a profession to pursue. However, I'm still hoping that they could make this match more exciting.

Yeah! more likely it's all about the money in the end just like when Casimero asked if he was willing to fight Inoue without any payment, he answered: "that cannot happen, money should be there of course". Most of the boxers just make it more exciting when they trash talk each other before the fight to sell as much pay per view. This is how the true nature of boxing where real cares are on the payment they could get on the fight, that's why we always see a long negotiation when huge money is on the table.

Of course it's business now, and this is 'professional prize fighting', it's their job to make money out of it. And if they can extend it to get more through trash talking for more attraction in PPV then they will do it. Only in the Olympic boxing wherein you will see the pride of a certain boxer. But in pro-fights, it's all for the money baby as Floyd said.
3156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 11, 2021, 08:35:50 PM
I predicted the result of Lakers - Heat game wrongly as Lakers were the winning team by 120-117. But Heat played as good as them that Lakers were able to win this game after overtime. Lakers succeeded in beating them even in the absence of Lebron which is a good sign for them. Because this season, it is really hard to beat Miami Heat as they are quite solid so far.

With Lebron James not playing and Jimmy Butler having only ended up playing like 12mns before exiting with an injury, this game tells us next to nothing about these two teams and their future this year.  Missing these two players changes the entire dynamic of the teams.  I think the Lakers will only continue to get better and better and with both squads being fully healthy I'll take the Lake Show.
It just shows that the Lakers still need Lebron James to close the game and become the Lakers show.

Big factor when Jimmy Butler gets injured, otherwise, the Lakers could have a difficult time in this game and they could have lost against the Heat.

I agree that Miami Heat looks solid this year again, just like during the bubble when they reach the finals against the Lakers.
3157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 11, 2021, 05:59:27 PM
@Natalim. We do share our picks before the game and most of the time it's really early like 8 hours before it starts or maybe more.
Whether following them or not is up to you. We just don't want to be blamed in the end.  Roll Eyes
Your pick looks good but I am against the Clippers today. Miami Heat might be seeking revenge even if they are exhausted and the best way to show it is up against another Los Angeles.
My pick is Miami Heat +3.5. Just to be sure. Betting for the 76ers versus the Raptors might also be a good idea. If Green and Seth (questionable) will light up their 3 points shooting early then a win is easy to reach. The Raptors also just played yesterday.
I'll go with the Raptors, +2.5 here, and even if they are in a back to back games, they are the more healthier of the two teams here. Sixers are going to missed their key players so it's going to be difficult for them to sustain the full game.

Clippers for me vs Heat, -2.5. They have a big win against the Portland team, and PG13 is really playing like a MVP candidate again.
3158  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $68,742.31 on: November 11, 2021, 12:22:04 PM
And the cycle continues, after hitting a new all time high, the market didn't sustained it's run to $70k at least. We've seen another correction (which is normal), 3% down now and counting.

So again, if the cycle continues then we have to wait for it to have a good bounce back after a week or two or at least leading to the actual date of the Taproot activation.

A small correction is alright, that's what strengthens the growth, and as long as the market is still bullish, there's nothing to worry about as bounce back after correction is likely to happen and at the same time we can always be optimistic that a new ATH will be achieved soon. I'm already thinking of the $70k price, once we hit that price, I expect the pump will continue and it's possible that $100k will likely come before the end of the year.

Keep believing as nothing is impossible in a bull market.
Yeah, it remain on that 3% range and it didn't go down hard. Just a natural reaction again to reaching new all time high, investors are selling for their profits.

And we still have a long way to go, it's just the second week of November and there could be surprises againsthat will push the price to $70k or even higher. Let's see how it goes, still a good and bright future ahead of us.
3159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 10, 2021, 11:35:58 PM
So within a Month time now Middle East is the place ? now Casimero must Show how tough His Hands than His Mouth after delivering too much Badmouthing the past months .

Though I am aiming for Him to Win over Butler because i also wanted Him to face Inoue to see if he can take the Monster that Donaire did not achieve in His first try.

Yup, Dubai is the place.

Don't worry, Casimero can back the talk  Grin. Trash-talking seems to be part of the strategy to sell fight and often times it is effective and sometimes not. In boxing, they said that there is no such thing as an easy fight but this Butler fight is just a warm-up fight for bigger things to come for Casimero considering that he won't let his guards down IMO.

Yep, that's one thing about Casimero though, he is so much brandish and talk talking seem to be the norm of his. But he can back it up but knocking down his opponents in fashion. Just look at what happen to Duke Micah in their last fight. Duke trying to bring the fight to John Riel, hitting him hard, but Casimero response back with a good knock down and Micah didn't recover after that. His face but bang up by Casimero's punches.

Thats great news for Emma Raducanu and her fans. Finaly she seems to have made
a very good move to team up with Torben Beltz.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/nov/09/emma-raducanu-torben-beltz-tennis-coach-upper-austria-ladies-linz

Quote
Emma Raducanu has confirmed that Torben Beltz, the former long-time coach of Angelique Kerber,
will be her new coach as she prepares for her first full season on tour in 2022

Hopefully we will see her game develop in 2022 with some consistent wins and a good
development of her skills.
Yes, let's give her a chance in 2022, it was really big winning the US open and there could be huge pressure for this kid, not just to her, but to Fernandez too.

And with a new coach around, maybe we can see big improvement on her, specially the mental aspects of the game because that's what important as well. You can have all the talent in the world, but if your mind is not that strong or well trained, you can easily lose to anyone.
