Normally changing tactics during the season is not a bad thing, it shows that a manager is ready to switch things up and find what is better against a certain team and win that way, it is actually shows quality in a manager. However when you change something and lose, that is when it means you are not doing it very well, in fact you are doing it wrong.
His idol Bielsa does something similar, he doesn't change his formation all that often (which he still does sometimes) but he changes tactics even if the formation is same, because he is known to study the opponent religiously and then make a new system depending on who they play, that way he moved to premier league and then finish the league above what others believed they could, all thanks to him getting ready for each game. Pep wants to do the same thing but he is not as good at changing as Bielsa so the results are usually lackluster.
Well, it kinda depends. If you are City and you are dominating games, you want others to adapt to your initial gameplan (the one that suits you best). If you are a weaker team, I agree that changing tactics is a great strategy. Also, if you are a good team and are having a losing streak, changing tactics and rotating players might be a good option. The thing is that City was dominating during both periods and he did not change a player or 2. He basically switched formations and changed the whole gameplay idea. Bottom line - changing is good. Changing too much suddenly - well, at least in Guardiola's case, proving not to be. Manchester City's squad is good. And the players were active throughout the season. The players were in form, so despite the guardiola changing the formation repeatedly, they performed well enough. But if Manchester City had been an average quality team, Guardiola might not have gotten so good results by changing the format this time around. |

Football comes with lots of surprises so most times I keep my prediction until when the season is full on then I can predict based on the line up of players, their ability to play as a team, their understanding of each others next move and lastly how the perform on every match. I personally watch sports to get maximum entertainment without attaching much emotions to it so I don't get disappointed since I'm a very emotional person.
The hardest group is "Group F". I think one of the teams from this group will win the title. Looking at all the squads, it can be seen that France is the strongest. France has the most star players in the team. However, any guess in a round ball game can go wrong. But I think France and Portugal will go to the second round from Group F. |

If you looked at the possibilities and chances for Chelsea to become champions, you would have been rich by now. Still, you kind of saw this coming. In the semi-final against Real Madrid they were 2x much better and they should have won 2x big. And I read that they had already won 3 of the last 4 head-to-head matches against Man City. Chelsea is better than many people think. Of course it also has to do with the trainer. Last year CL final with PSG and now the title with Chelsea.

I really wouldn't count on Hungary, in all honesty but that would be the surprise of the decade in that group.
What I think is a very possible outcome: 1. France / 2.Portugal / 3. Germany
I know it is tough but Portugal has a relatively strong squad and I am not sure yet whether Germany will manage to be on point for those games. If they are, they can also beat Germany, but they have a new and young team that is not comparable to that from 2014.

I don't believe either that Italy will lose the first place in this group, unless it's been decided by them so they can face an easier team to the next round. The interesting part for this group is which team will be the second one. Most likely will be Turkey but Switzerland is strong and Welsh although isn't a major team, can do some surprises...  Yep but as said, I think Italy will struggle to go far and win the Euro. Their player quality are not too good and dominant their opponents. Roberto Mancini does his management good and improve the team and I respect his works. Now the Italian team is not very strong. Italy's opponents in the group stage are weak. My idea is that if Italy wins against Switzerland then they will reach the next round. Turkey and Wales are not very strong teams. I think Italy will be able to reach the quarter-finals and then they will be eliminated. |

If PSG add Ronaldo to the squad, they will be even stronger next season. PSG did not win the Ligue 1 title this season. The main goal of PSG next season will be to regain their dominance in Ligue 1 and at the same time to perform well in the Champions League. I wouldn't be surprised if PSG want to take Ronaldo to their side at any cost. |
