3141  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: March 10, 2021, 11:38:59 PM
If you want to offer some bets according to the covid situation, then you have to be fast because in some months the covid will be over because of the vaccination program  Grin
AFAIK, there some betting events son Futuur's site about Covid-19.... as far as I can remember it is about Covid-19 vacine. If you wawnna bet, just visit their site and you'll immediately findd it.

You can find lots on here: https://futuur.com/q/category/2181/covid-19-coronavirus

Example of given market:

How many deaths will be caused by Covid-19 in Brazil by the end of 2021?
Will Covid-19 infection kill more people globally than Influenza in 2021?

i can say, not a very good section to bet on. but that's the reality of life. we cant avoid this crisis. but it is good that vaccine has started to roll-out in all parts of the globe, though some are still waiting their turn. but at least, we are already slowly containing this pandemic.
futuur has changed the betting environment here in the forum because of their wide-ranging topics. and i think, they are really getting loyal bettors here in the forum.
and will be more if they added alts with cheap tx fees...

Its not really a good section because we are betting on someones lives on here which i dont see to be that appropriate for me to make out bets for the sake of leisure or profits.

For some this might be an interesting stuff but it is never been good to put up some bets on peoples lives.Well, its their site and if they decide to put up that option
then its up to gamblers if they would bet it or not.

About wide ranging topics then this is one of the most noticeable thing you can see in this site.Lots of varieties which you can choose on.Therefore, you wont really
be getting board on finding on what suits you.
3142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk and BTC on: March 10, 2021, 10:18:53 PM
Remember John McAfee? Yes, the eccentric guy who uses twitter to make more money and create a lot of FOMO back in 2017, and that $1 million bet on bitcoin otherwise he will eat his manhood? That's the ultimate FOMO in crypto.

you can't really compare the two.
McAfee was a scammer who was trying to make money by pump and dumping shitcoins and also getting paid to advertise the scam projects of 2017 known as ICOs.
Musk on the other hand is a bitcoin believer who has bought bitcoin and likes the technology so he makes some fun tweets about it from time to time to troll the community too.
You can really differentiate the two when it comes to shilling out something but its comparable into someone who doesnt really need money like Musk where he wont really be ruining
his own reputation by just shilling out some coins just like on what McAfee did in the past.

He do make out some tweets on where the masses do really take it seriously anytime he do publish those. Some people do really have just bad impressions
when it comes to this and making out those speculations or claims that the thing he's been doing is already on the manipulative side.
3143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin mixers are only for criminals on: March 10, 2021, 09:19:30 PM
Is it the mixer's fault if criminals use it?
Leave mixers, is it Bitcoins fault that criminals use BTC to transact for their wrongdoings?
It's not like just criminals use BTC, we too use BTC and even more than those criminals just because we know how and should use it.
The same way, it's not just criminals who use mixers but some of us also use it to save ourselves from the pseudonymous nature of BTC. Tell me, where shall we go except mixers, to keep our transactions completely private by juggling our money and getting them on completely fresh addresses?
Better to ignore than on stressing out yourself on trying out to convince to those people who do have only shallow understanding when it comes to certain things without even rethinking

that those things had already been long existing when its still on fiat. Criminals do make use other mediums to take advantage on erasing up their tracks which is just a common sense
thing for those criminals to do so.

If they do find out such service that do juggle out your coins on making it completely anonymous then theres no doubt that they would really be flocking in with this option.
3144  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chain-Bet.com | On Chain Gambling | 0% House Edge | Provably Fair | Since 2016 on: March 10, 2021, 08:20:59 PM
Have you thought some strategy to attract more players? Today there are many casinos that are quite competitive, some opt for a great option that is to make the signature campaign here in the forum, and has given them much success, I have also seen that they have made additional design competitions, due to Do not handle so much capital for this, do not believe that through social networks can reach more people?

Even if it is true that sign campaign or competition can bring good effect to the site but bear in mind that not all sites have the funds for such marketing/promotional tools.
I'm quite sure chain-bet do not have great bankroll so they wont be able to spend much money for campaign/contests.
Their game is also not attractive enough these days, so spending money for campaigns wont be something worth to do IMO.
This is the truth!

If you do try to compare the complexity of creating a gambling site like this and on a casino then you can eventually tell which one do really ask out for more cost when it comes to expenses which is into those fancy casino sites that we do have on this market and this one is just pretty simple to look at.

Even though marketing does really play a big role on sites success but the thing you had said about budget allocation and not all would really be having enough thing to do so
and so as with bankroll.Last thing which blockchain type games isnt really that popular at all.
3145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience isn't everything on: March 10, 2021, 07:30:12 PM
When I was still a newbie to crypto many people told me to keep holding and that's all I did for many years and in the end I ended up with many dead coins, whenever I keep seeing people talking about patience as if it's the only thing a newbie need I always shake my head, the fact is you need more than patience to get good results from projects, having patience sometimes will get you nothing
It is just doesnt fit out on anything when we do talk on being patient because not all projects would succeed in long term this is why when you do tend to apply it all on your coin holdings then
expect that you would really be missing out lots of opportunities on making profit due to that very reason.

Patience isnt really everything and of course it does have con's if you do held up too much knowing that price doesnt really always go on what you wanted or expect.

Sell off once you do see the opportunity specially on a project which you do seem not worth for long term runs.
3146  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN CORRECTION: PERFECT BUY TIME on: March 09, 2021, 10:44:47 PM
Perfect buy time will always talk about on the bottom price when a certain correction do happens but is there someone who could actually spot it out precisely?I dont know if someone
does that but for sure in using up lots of combinations of technicals then you can presume out those levels but not on that 100% precision.

Perfect buy time can also be considered into those times that you had at least able to buy back near to the bottom but we cant determine if thats the bottom until the price
had recovered and this is what makes the market so hard to predict on.

What matter most here is that you do able to make money in short span of time on dealing with prices without needing on waiting for long time.
3147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone placed esports bets? on: March 09, 2021, 09:47:20 PM
When it comes to e-sports betting then I do usually hang out with;

GG.bet,Loot.bet and cloudbet.com

2 of them accepting cryptocurrencies which do make even more convenient for me and the one is that old and famous esports betting platform since from the start.
I can confirm that loot.bet and gg.bet are quite amazing because they offer odds on most games in-play and their coverage is also decent while cloudbet and other crypto sportsbooks that offer odds on e-sports have good coverage but sometimes lack odds for in-play games. Dreamleague for DOTA2 which was concluded recently I tried to bet but only some of the games were offered for live betting.

I feel like although the crypto based sportsbooks have evolved a lot but still lack in some aspects and one of them is having more coverage and live odds for e-sports matches apart from other things like having more consistent odds. By consistency I mean, there are odds of 2x on a team winning 2-0 in maps, for example on counter strike matches while 1.9x on handicap -1.5 which basically mean the same.
On the current bookies that we do have on this crypto market then i can say that nothing still beats up this two specially now that it is accepting crypto then that is really a big convenience
for those old users specially with loot.bet.

As lanatsa mentioned too about convenience because it did really give out such option or gateway to play without using those typical terms.

About those evolution aspects then i do agree with that but still wont be enough to match up on things that had been offered by these old platforms.
3148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is so volatile? What are the major factors that drive it? on: March 09, 2021, 08:52:27 PM
Never ever that it do happen for bitcoins price to be not volatile because even if its just starting to be trade off then volatility is already tied to it.There might be times that price is somewhat on the sideways movement
but wont still be considered on that stability side of things.

Factors that do affect volatility? Of course this talks to demand which is a casual thing plus those sentiments that circling around the market knowing that this place is highly reactive
to news and events that do happen. So better watch out.

If this place havent this kind of level of volatileness then thats already a reason on not getting that much of attention by investors.Moving prices in larger extent does have pro's.
3149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 09, 2021, 08:14:27 PM
EDIT: Now they’re saying Drummond is going to sign with the Nets!?!?! Insane. The Lakers have no chance against them without more help at the center position.

Seriously? I've browsed some news and seen nothing about that rumor of Drummond signing with the Nets.

And I think signing Drummond with the Nets is not possible. The Cavaliers are trying to get a valuable player, a young player, or a future pick, in exchange for Drummond. IIRC there is no available future picks left for Brooklyn Nets since they acquired their Big 3 (correct me if I'm wrong here).

But in case that's true, the Nets will be more pressured to win the chip. It's embarrassing if they failed to win the championship despite having that lineup.
Yes you can see it here https://clutchpoints.com/allen-robinson-claims-andre-drummond-will-sign-nets/ . Dont know on whats the reason of such change yet ive heard off that he's signing with the Lakers.
3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The lack of TRUST in the crypto space right now is horrifying on: March 09, 2021, 07:45:36 PM

I got dozens of emails, 'blackmailing' me by asking BTC to a specific address, or else I'll find myself naked on the web  Grin Grin Grin

The crypto business is surely a space that you can be scammed if you are not careful. Just don't put your money if you are not sure. On the naked picture lol, do you put your naked pictures on the web? If not then everybody who has seen your nakedness will surely know the original you and the photo shopped you  Grin
Just only use up your own common sense and you will be fine because having this will really be saving up your ass into anything that you do seem that you will really be putting on yourself in trouble.

In speaking of lacking of trust here on crypto then i cant really blame of those people who doesnt have trust nor confidence on making out investment and also with those blackmailing attempts

then there are lots of them and if you are a person who do easily got scared when someone scare you off or asking out something then you shouldnt really be having that
kind of behavior.
3151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why kids born in 2140 don`t get a chance to mine rewards? on: March 08, 2021, 11:47:00 PM
Bitcoin is 89% premine to any kid born today.
In 2140 it is 100% premine to any kid born that year.

Why the future generations don`t get any rewards?

What kind of design is this satoshi? to enslave the future of humanity?

The question is, would those future kids minding to mine on that time? When it comes to rewards then they would really be still making via fees when pushing up transactions.

Presuming that bitcoin did able to survive till 2140 which indicates that it is already globally adopted in full scale which means transactions in the network would really be more than on what we are
seeing at the current.

Also satoshi didnt really create nor make bitcoin about enslaving yet he didnt even expect for his creation to make this big as of this moment.
3152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic III on: March 08, 2021, 10:40:25 PM
It's just normal to assume that there are people that would totally panic with the situation of the market today because they would think it's like the 2017 vibes or they just don't panic but rather getting profit above of what they have invested. Either way it's still in a highest price right now so I guess weak hands are the ones selling and starting to panic.
Many were still horrified in 2018 continues dump but they shoul already stop doubting since this year adoption really happens unlike in 2018 it’s just pure speculation, nowthere are companies who can back up or who might try to add more investment or companieswho might accumulate more during this dump.
You are right!

This isnt something that we have seen back in the past but we cant really remove or get rid of that probability when it comes to those kind of chances of possible market crash because
there would be always that time where huge sell-off could really happen no matter how strong the adoption is.

People should learnt that we wont really be crashing out that easily compared into those previous years that we had experienced.I cant blame them though because that one
could really make or create some trauma specially to those who get wrecked badly.

Those candle images above of Op with having that presumption of pump then it did really happen. Those red candles didnt go deeper.

3154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple Question - Your investing Strategy on: March 08, 2021, 08:37:47 PM
Doesn't need long complicated answers - just a simple question:

Do you invest
1. mainly on price/the market trends
2. mainly on the underlying usefulnesss of the token
3. pretty even split of the two.

1. When it comes to trends then this would really be hard due to immediate shift up neither if there are certain news or just simply some random flip out.
2. Relevance or usefulness of the project would always be ideal for you to look on but this one isnt precisely giving out always the advantage because not all potential coins would really be given out recognition.

3. Diversifying is good but be sure that you do choose up the best ones rather than on considering those low cap shit coins in the market just for you to hop some 100-1000x gains which it is impossible
in todays market.

Last, dont be greedy and always stick into your plans and set up goals.
3155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2021, 09:39:59 AM
It wouldn't kill me if it fails but I don't think it will fail. Even if it crashes it will come back 2 or 3 years later.

It wouldn't hurt you much if bitcoin crashes then go ahead and take a loan to buy bitcoin. As I believe bitcoin is still very good for long-term investment. A lot of influential people and big companies have started investing in bitcoin. So, the future is bright.
Then how long you would consider on repaying up those loans? Unless if you can repay it without relying into the money you had borrowed to be invested then its good but
if you are depending on it then this would really be a very bad idea.

When it comes to future then nothing is assured but bitcoin didnt really fail to impress us when it comes to that manner. All we do need is patience.

Not all would really be having that same characteristics when it comes investment or being patient. Not all would really be willing to wait and make up
decisions according on the situation they are in.
3156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin mixers are only for criminals on: March 05, 2021, 10:04:14 PM
Bitcoin mixers and coin mixers in general are only designed for criminals and are only used for criminals.

Are these kind of topic is a never ending one? We cant really deny on what are the things would be covered on when using up mixers this is why this business does really have some
negative image by the government because of the essence on making those transactions even way more anonymous.

We cant deny that this could really be used on that way or for that purpose but we cant deny the fact that there are people whom do make use of this service to erase up their
tracks or having completely anonymous for their own personal reason.

It isnt really needed for you to be criminal or some sort for you to make use because minding your own privacy and anonymity will really
be having these considerations.
3157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: March 05, 2021, 09:00:28 PM

How much is the purse of Manny Pacquioa on the Mayweather fight? I believe he made more or less $100 million in that fight but the purse, I don't know and I am also not sure if it's still Bob Arum who is his promoter that time but one thing I'm certain, he made a ton of money that fight.
It did make tons of money considering that this one is the richest fight in boxing history.
https://tv5.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/29107427/mayweather-pacquiao-revisiting-richest-fight-boxing-history

About purse then he had able to get $120 million on that fight.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2452517-mayweather-vs-pacquiao-purse-prize-money-payouts-after-main-event-title-fight

So the amount we've been talking on this thread is just too small to compare.

So there's no reason this fight will not happen, or at least Bob will talk to Manny if he can't give that $50 million guaranteed for this fight. Bob been in the business for centuries I believe, I'm sure he is clever enough to make a decision but it's good if we know the status of the fight ASAP so we would not expect a lot and we can move on.
Fight could happen depending on the contract or amount would get involved in the middle. If Arum wont see any benefits or would only earn penny then this one wouldnt push through.

He had been on this industry for how many years and he's fully aware on what are the things should be arrange for him to benefit out the most.

We cant really deny this pandemic did really make out big impact to this industry no matter how many angles you would try but due to lack of crowd then you would really able to tell
the difference when it comes to revenue.
3158  Economy / Speculation / Re: A 70% Drop May Occur after BTC Hitting Around $68,700 on: March 05, 2021, 08:32:02 PM
OP, or Bitcoin might never crash below $50,000 again. Because it's pointless showing us in "what range" Bitcoin MIGHT crash, if we don't know in "what range" the current cycle ENDS.
Going back with that 70% drop is really something that is hard to believe on, if we do really consider on how strong those supports are below 30k price point then it would really be needing some

serious negative news or events to poke out this kind of possibility or market crash. We are just too big to crash like that but well, everything isnt really unsure yet on not to happen.

We know that the market could crash in least we do expect so therefore we shouldnt really be that on that confident side of things.

3160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just SOLD my girlfriends car to buy more ETH at sale price :) on: March 04, 2021, 08:54:56 PM

to be honest this story is the craziest thing I've ever heard apart from pizza buyers who use bitcoin, but in this case I personally will not do it in a hurry without a long analysis because 2000 € is not a small amount of money, especially if you have to sell the car you have, wow it can be a pretty big bet with two choices, if you predict you are right, of course the wealth will be yours and if your prediction is wrong, of course it will make you really crazy  Grin Grin

It all matters on the acceptance of the risk you are facing on when you do deal with crypto market.IF this one turns out to be crazy then this one would be lot more crazier.

Dutch family had sold out everything for BTC in 2017.
https://cryptoslate.com/dutch-family-that-sold-everything-for-btc-in-2017-is-still-buying/#:~:text=Didi%20Taihuttu%20made%20news%20three,father%20of%20three%20told%20CNBC.

They would be in riches if they do still able to held off all of those btc until now.
