There is nothing about the collapse. This situation will be recovered soon and the upstream will be seen in the price in the near future. You should wait till that time and be patient. If you want to make money then hold your coins for some more time and when the price rise again you can sell them for higher price. Patience and courage is necessary for bitcoin investment. Pretty optimistic huh? A lot of us here like that as well especiallly after april proved to be a good month but short termers' hope were dashed when we plunged again, this time clocking an all time low for 2017. Only six days to end June and bitcoin prices continue to decline. We should pray for bitcoin price increase in July. If prices do not rise, so many people will abandon investing in bitcoin. You will have to wait at least till the end of november if you really want to see bitcoin increasing, in july bitcoin price increase but it will stay around 6.5k$ - 7.2k$. People are investing in bitcoin because they know this is the right time to purchase bitcoin other people hold bitcoin and waiting for the right time to sell bicoins. Forget you have bitcoin till the end of 2018. Lol. Favorable indeed. June just replaced fabruary as the month with the all time low this year :p and i don't think there's anything yet that can make a big reversal unless the ones who also are keeping btc at it's current price range decides it's time to change market status |

this drop is 90% manipulation at this point and 10% money going away. otherwise all the analysis that has been around for over 6 months has been pointing to a much higher price as the bottom (i am not talking about FUDsters who called their bullshit analysis, but the real analysis from legit sources).
I agree. I don't know until when they'll try to keep this up but it's obvious manipulation from biggies. Though this isn't the only time this happened and we all know this market can be manipulated so there shouldn't be any surprise to that. |

If that's what you believe then fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Not all prediction is right and not all we are expecting were going to happen. Everyone might be right and wrong. Not because someone predicted it right once, they are correct in their following prediction.
Thats what it called speculation, so you only speculate by the behaviour of the bitcoin in the past month or the past year because mostly of what happen before with the same graph like what he presented is that the price goes up after. Now it is not guaranteed it is just we guessing it then if we are lucky enough then we are really good and get our profit. But as my self i do speculate so that i do have a positive thinking and not thinking those loss like this day because it really hurts. Correct and we need not to forget that whales are just playing around, what we anticipated to happen is not what the end results, so even there's a same movements coming from the graph last month/year there's still no assurance that same thing will happen again, it can be a trapped from those manipulators they are just doing the same pattern to grab more money out from this business. I've seen several chart analysis today with different predictions lol. Which of these are we to believe in? This goes to show that in a market like this, anyone can make speculations and do their own ta's but how it will really play out is nothing anyone can foresee. |

All perceptions were negative yesterday but today Bitcoin has changed the routes of our perception. Today the value improved although it is not a big improvement but it shows that I am still alive and we should remove this perception to think that Bitcoin will over because it is internet and a rich source which is in need of people so we can not lose this opportunity. An improvement in value is as temporary as anything in this market. It seems the only constant this year is the sliding price. But that doesn't mean bitcon will not recover anymore. This downtrend is a normal thing in summertime. Price is dropping but nothing big in my opinion, nice drop for people who wish to buy more under 6k dollars. What ever is the reason behind this drop people should use this good opportunity for buying. Price usually starts to rise in August, people should wait for that time before making any trading decisions.
I hoped that 6k is new bottom, but price continued with declining. If next stop is 5k and if that be the new bottom than it would be great, for all of us for such high new bottom and unique opportunity for all of us to buy in that bottom and earn maximal profit at next top.
No. I'm sure $ 6,000 is the bottom. Even the summer period will not break it. But it doesn't make it any easier. The fall of bitcoin in 3 times it is indeed for many a disaster. For me, the price of bitcoin does not matter but I'm afraid that the popularity of cryptocurrencies may decrease and it will take a very long time before bitcoin will return to popularity. Sorry for the lost time. 6k bottom? Hows about it dipping under 5.8k just 2 days ago to register the new all time high for 2018. maybe bitcoin prices keep going down because of bad news spread and the mtgox is a threat because having hundreds of thousands of bitcoin pieces ready to destroy the bitcoin price is very horrible, some media also make bad news that could affect the traders.
Nope i don't think it's affecting the movement of btc right now since the btcs will be distributed to mtgox recipients next year. And it's not an assurance that there will be a bulk sell out since a lot would probably prefer to keep their coins instead |

Unless these exchanges take things seriously and appoint talented people to monitor and protect everything these hacks will keep on continuing unless we have some other system like a dual private key system for the coins we deposit in these exchanges so that the hackers wont be able to run away with the coins. Over all we had over a billions of dollars worth of hack throughout this small window this market is active and the numbers are not that great. It's inevitable. There are huge amounts of money in exchanges and it will always be a target for hackers. And i think most exchangesndo take security seriously, it's just that there are hackers who are pretty talented to get past some exchange securities. |

See? It was James who became the MVP in this era.... James Harden! Not Lebron! Perhaps Lebron will win the best puncher of the year...  A lot of people thought that it will be Lebron James with a great performance he did in the EC Playoffs and ECF and in the Finals. James Harden just had a great performance this season and I agree that there are some times that he did not do well. Yet I am still here, waiting to what will happen to the next seasons with a lot of great rookies on each teams. I'm not a Cavs fan but I'm expecting Lebron will get the MVP. I'm not saying Harden doesn't deserve it because he also did well and work hard for it. It's just Lebron deserved it more for me and I guess others also have the same expextation. Well both harden and james basically deserved the award though among winners, victor oladipo winning most improved was the only one i got right. I think donnovan mitchell and brad stevens were going to win their respective lines but hey, it's been a good season for all fans so i'm not complaining. |

Maybe for some people but for me it is a no because I am investing in bitcoin not just I like it and my mood is good at that time I invested in bitcoin because I knew that there is a big potential on it and in the future it will changes our world. Think of it. It is the future.
Yes, I am more convinced that it's a no. But we have different perspective in making our own insights regarding this idea. Maybe some other people believe that phenomenon. But for me, price movement depends on the demands and supply which are changing every now and then. Well if the market is like this, where there are really no significant fud or a reason for fomo, then yeah i don't think the movement is influenced much by the people. For sure the december pump last year though was caused by fomo and hype and what happened after that was fud and panic. |

Yes, I do expect a rebound from bitcoin after the fall. Not only me because I am pretty sure many of us still believes that bitcoin will fully recover after this big fall. Bitcoin has a huge potential in the market despite what is trend right now, investors are still holding on to bitcoin and there is no doubt bitcoin will rise again. There are still a lot of us who believe that btc will recover and get to it's previous high but i'm not making the mistake of expecting when. IMO Bitcoin will regain its strength by the end of June 2018. Bitcoin will return after five months almost lost its value. While other financial markets "besides cryptocurrency" actually move in the opposite direction. But we shouldn't be pessimistic about this decline, because many people still use bitcoin as another alternative in investment.
I hope that it will regain its price before the end of june because the price has already go down so much and most of the people are losing a huge amount of their investment because they sell theirs coin due to panicking. While you can hope for a fast recovery and there is nothing wrong with that at the same time we need to try to see the reality here, the price is not going to recover in just a few days that is simply impossible what you need to do is to figure out how to take advantage of the market right now and that is very easy you just need to buy more coins before the price recovers if you do it you will get some of the easiest profits in your life. Lol. June is almost over and we've just hit the all time low for 2018. It bounced pretty quick but who knows if it will again go under 6k. I'd say quit making big expectations especially for short term because disappointment sometimes can be hard to swallow |

We are in a bear but still there's a lot of reason why you should stay, and I listed some of those good things to stay calm and why you need to trust this market again.
1. Cryptocurrency can bounce back high in this current dump because of its own technology. the potential growth of this market is still 101%.
2. Bear market is normal, and if you look at any market after the dump there will always a rebound, where its possible to make a new all time high.
3. Now why some countries make bitcoin legal? Why some big personality invest in some project? Well, its simply because they saw a great potential for this cryptomarket, and you should too.
This may not help you to stay calm and stop panicking but try to imagine the market five years from now. Any thoughts why people should stay in this market?
That's exactly what's keeping me here. I've made a lot of readings and watched a lot about bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies in the past to know that it's real value and use won't be until a couple if years from now. And that's what i've invested in, not for any promise of quick money |

I think bitcoin is nothing wrong but there is bad news attacking bitcoin prices that makes bitcoin falling and this seems very normal because bitcoin prices will only move up and down, after the fall will usually go back up and the price recovered.
I'm not even hearing major fuds right now dude that may greatly influence this correction. It's likely either the normal correction that's continuing up until now or the market's being manipulated by the big fishes. These are things that we can't do anything about |

I really feel afraid of the current market. I can not predict anything. I lost a lot of money before I felt depressed and sold the whole bitcoin today. I will wait for the market to settle down. Lol if tried to predict how the market will move, you've already made a big mistake. We only have to be flexible and adaptable to it because we can't predict anything from it. And if there will be a great economic crisis that'll happen, i think this crypto market will be one of the few that people can opt in to since it'll be a great alternative that won't be as much affected as the more conventional economic markets out there. |

I came to a point where i am always checking coinmarketcap.com for market price movement that relatively as of this moment it continue to fall down. It came another major fall down on market price. Yes, you are right. It seems to be a threat to us all crypto users. I also see the price of coinmarketcap.com sometimes goes up and sometimes also goes down. It is unfortunate for us who have collected some crypto. Usually there will be an increase at the end of the year in 2017 yesterday. I hope at the end of this year will go up like the previous year. It's unfortunate if you're expecting quick returns from your bitcoin investments. For those that are looking towards the future, it's opportunity presenting itself. I don't get threatened by what's going on and i even am at more than negative 50%. |

I can only answer "yes it will happen" but for the time of achievement that is unpredictable, because bitcoin prices are unstable. And if you have a bitcoin target at a price of 20k, then you have to be patient. Yes with the current market dropping so much if expectations are to achieve $20,000 then patience is vital. Lol i'd say if you're aiming for 20k, forget about bitcoin for a while and attend to other things since it'll probably take a lot more time to get back there with how we're moving today. I don't see us getting to that point this year :p |

Back in February I remember a whole bunch of dudes saying buy bitcoin, it's an amazing price of $6000 and you'll never see a chance like this again, it will just go up from here and you will be kicking yourself. Then it did indeed start going up over the coming months, it even reached $11000, nearly double they were saying, you've missed the boat.
But look where we are now. We are at the same February low of $6000. My point is history, and prices, all repeat themselves. Opportunities do come round again. I can say to those people that said to buy in Feb that we are at the same point, and the same opportunity is there again.
(Or is it? I know a whole load of people are saying it's going to fall below $6000 and may even reach $5000. So there will be opportunities. Feb was not a special time).
Well also think that looking back to the market's previous movements would give us a good hint of what to expect. I admit that even i didn't expect that we'd go back to the 6k levels when prices went a little up last april but it did. And the pattern it followed happened not a few times in the past as well. |
