Demacia Cup 2020

There are a lot of new teams than I can remember, seems to me that SKT T1 will not be part of this Chinese Tournament, most teams are Chinese teams, pretty interesting to be honest because they are really good teams and I rarely see LOL Chinese team bout against other Chinese teams.

Here are the links to the details, too lazy to type them here.

3142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Number Lose Streak Formula on: December 21, 2020, 02:50:45 AM
what about the odds ? your number of loss will depend on your odds too . high odds more number of loss and low odds of course lesser number of loss before you get your target but  luck and bad luck plays a factor as well

not because you play with high odds doesnt always mean that you will get the same more amount of loss but you can get lucky and get a win as early as possible .  for low odds your loss can roll for more if badluck .
I think that it is out of the question because odds will complicate the equation. OP stated that there is only losses so I think that odds will discarded. I do agree with you about odds, it is math in the end but I do not think luck and math should be in the same sentence.
3143  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: Elon Musk fake Bitcoin and Ethereum giveaway on: December 19, 2020, 09:24:38 AM
Another fake giveaway, idk why there are lot of people create this scam attempt since it's always fake and no one would trust this kind of giveaway.

Bitcoin address:
Code:
18pmjeGWCvqUZytNd3aixonzEySNrovFzU
Ethereum address:
Code:
0xaeff507bc059a52cc19163d1769d828cf685f3b8

I've checked both address and none of addresses above haven't received any single penny which is no one get scammed fortunately.

This kind of fake giveaway or even ponzi (send your xx and get xxx return) shouldn't be ever trusted. Goodjob, OP
This kind of stuff will never die, scammer will find a way to dupe the noobs. You have to commend the effort they put into the graphic design down there but I digress, I thought that these celebrity doing giveaways have already died and that they are trying to find newer ways to do it. Good thing no one has fallen for it, if they did put more effort into their scam a little bit more, I think they will be raking in some dough. Good catch OP.
3144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be greedy at this time. on: December 19, 2020, 08:46:38 AM
Greedy is one thing that we should avoid. If you think you are greedy, it is better to take your profit before you miss that chance, and you can't sell at the price you want or at the high price. But we can't deny that greedy will always come to us, especially if our target price is reached, but we don't place any order sell at that price.
If you are disciplined enough to know that greed will get you nowhere then you can be sure that you will be safe from possible let downs. One thing that I do believe a trader should possess is being content, content with what profits that he/she reaped and not minding the continuous price climb because he/she knows that the profit was enough. Market will not always be high, there will be lows and no one knows when is the low happening so you better get that profits before the low times come and you will waste another year waiting for another high.
3145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone will agree with Bitcoin, you should know this! on: December 19, 2020, 08:08:29 AM
Can't please all of them plus everyone is entitled to their opinion/belief hopefully that still stands today. Cuban is a billionaire and he is just one of many, if he does not agree with bitcoin then there will be one or two who will agree. I do agree about his statement that bitcoin is not a hedge for doomsday scenarios, if taken to a literal sense, I would go for something practical rather than a bunch of codes when the society as we all know it collapse.
3146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with all this 100k FUD? on: December 19, 2020, 07:26:08 AM
Why do you care that much? Even if you whine, no one will be able to stop this FOMO. Its not like its a negative thing anyway. If you see one, you can just ignore it. Anyone can say whatever they want as long as they are within the rules.
Seems to me that we got special snowflake, what is it to you if they do not stop cheering for 100k milestone and what is it to you if they do stop? I don't get why is it a bad thing that people are optimistic about the price increase of bitcoin, isn't that a good thing that there is FOMO which could psychologically affect people into going in for the ride. The good old adage of minding your own business is very useful in your situation now OP and the irony of this thread is that it seems that OP is the FUD.
3147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 19, 2020, 06:44:57 AM
I think your reason is to make sense.
With your strategy, we do not have to analyze too deep just to find the right team.
When we follow what most people choose, maybe we will get lucky because they can select the same team with a big percentage to win.
I think you are making money from your strategy, so I think you can continue to use that strategy, but maybe you can modify the strategy, just in case if the current strategy can not work anymore.
Congratulations on your earlier profit, and I hope you can profit from the next betting.
I do some analysis when big money is on the line and to be honest with you, I have to polish that skill of mine because I sometimes miss but the money lost is still not that damaging. Sometimes following the dead fishes leads to something after all.
3148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New KYC rules for crypto wallets on: December 19, 2020, 06:12:24 AM
The very basis of Bitcoin is to provide a peer-to-peer system where centralised system are out of reach of the government and this just proves that. If such regulations ever comes a reality, the only thing it'll probably affect are US exchanges. Does it harm Bitcoin? Definitely not. Plenty of P2P exchanges and those based overseas as well.

For those who care less about privacy, they probably won't care. For those that want to steer away from government surveillance, there are plenty of easy and accessible ways to transact.
Monero still does the job. The only reason that they want KYC is to get a hold of those juicy tax money that they can get from this bitcoin hodlers, hopefully this KYC thing is just a US jurisdiction because I do care about my privacy and I am not surrendering it anytime soon. This is a Sisyphean effort because people will always find a loophole.
3149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price will Rise to $60,000 by December 2021 on: December 19, 2020, 05:33:34 AM
Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs/opinions but that does not mean that you are right. Bitcoin is still volatile as ever and we can't predict the prices like any other stocks or alts out there, and Satoshi is out of the game, he/she might be spending all the money he/she has on a beach in Pacific or Caribbean islands. The real players now are the institutional whales that are pouring in all of their money to get in the bitcoin game, they will be the one that will be moving the markets whether we like it or not.
3150  Economy / Economics / Re: So where are all the normie Economists, Bankers, who said it was over in 2018? on: December 19, 2020, 04:55:22 AM
They have a couple of options. It is either they will admit that they're wrong about Bitcoin, as the hard facts are clearly saying Bitcoin is here to stay and is actually a lot stronger now, or they will stick to their old perception and look extremely ridiculous and funny.
With more people leaning more on bitcoin rather than what the economists say, I think that they will change their mind about bitcoin, this doesn't affect the fact that bitcoin is still volatile and 2018 could happen again. Some hardcore economist might stick to their guns here and there but technology will bite back sooner than they could have expected.
It doesn't kill them if they change tune about Bitcoin. It is very normal nowadays. Who were solid Bitcoin supporters right from the start? Only a handful. A lot of the huge investors of today weren't Bitcoin supporters years ago. But they realized that Bitcoin is not just some geeky fad and eventually poured millions into it. And they were right in that decision because their investment has indeed more than doubled in just several weeks.
People have different perception about bitcoin, some supported it unconditionally while others are still uncertain so they tested the waters and now those who did finally got to reap their benefits. It is just how life works, if you become a success you will be called an idol but the other way around you are called a fraud, this is an unforgiving world after all.
3151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 19, 2020, 04:11:02 AM
~
That is one solution to prevent overanalysis, and I think that can work as long as we know that teams are the favorite team.
It seems you enjoy betting and placing your selection on the favorite team.
We should do that in the betting because we only want to enjoy placing the money to the favorite team, and we do not mind anything that can happen later, whether we will win or lose.
We should find how we can enjoy gambling games, and I am sure that we can know what the thing that can make us feel comfortable.
We are on the same page regarding overanalysis, cheers mate. It is also my most proven strategy when I do sports betting, some gambler a long time ago told me to pick the darling of the crowd before anyone else because the chances of winning is higher than that of than doing some in depth analysis, I took that personally because I am a lazy person when it comes to gambling, place the bet and let fate decide what happens next. 7 out 10 games is won by my strategy although I wouldn't recommend it. I have profit and I do enjoy the game at the same time.
3152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion is highly needed! on: December 19, 2020, 03:31:57 AM
Well is hard to determine. If i were that guy i will take the loan and build business first rather buy new home and invest some of it to safe haven investment like Gold but trying invest in bitcoin is okay but not in this current price market  Grin
The current price of bitcoin is a suicide run for those who want to join in the fray because of the volatility and any time soon, the 50k worth of bitcoin might only be worth 20k. I do agree with your strategy on what to do with the loan, but the problem with running a business is that you should put your eyes on it 24/7 and at first, there will be no profits coming in because you are still a start up which threatens your daily expenses. I suggest to start a small online business that does not interfere with your day job, so you can still support your project while staying alive.
3153  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagpasok ng Tao Sa Crypto on: December 18, 2020, 09:20:22 AM

3154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Senator plans to teach Congress how to use bitcoin to reduce the national debt on: December 18, 2020, 08:23:41 AM
I don't think that will work and that Congress will take that seriously. Also, I don't believe that US has actuall intention to reduce the national debt.
But at least that senator has some kind of vision that might come into force some time in the future but I don't think this is going to happen now.
If it helps their agenda to stay in power, I think that they will hear this out, especially the shady ones, they want to know more about this to have their stolen money laundered far more better. I think that they have the intention but they all do not want to act on it, the debt just grows and I think the reason is like any other people with debt, they are waiting for the time that the debt will be forgotten or far out of concern for both parties involved. This kinds of politicians is what we need, hopefully there are more like her that will run for offices around the world, visionaries. On a side note, she better be able to walk the walk.
3155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is giving $1 Million in Bitcoin on Twitter on: December 18, 2020, 07:32:55 AM
Advance congratulations to whoever will ever be chosen with this giveaway. This is an obvious sponsored post for her by cashapp.

It's seasonal to see such ads with the pump of bitcoin. Exposure, interest, and adoption are the main goals for this and to cash app, they're attracting more users to register into their platform.

That's their marketing and advertisement technique but an expensive budget has been allocated.
I thought this is just a scam or something. Hopefully, this one is not and that all that tweet has something to back it up. $1 million is not really that big amount for CashApp, considering they got Megan Thee to advertise the promotion. CashApp as far as I know has a lot of users around the world and I agree that it will be a big exposure for bitcoin as a whole as most of Megan Thee followers if I am ever allowed to judge, ignorant about bitcoin.
3156  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will be the next target of bitcoin in initially of 2021 ? on: December 18, 2020, 06:58:33 AM
That's plausible, assuming we maintain this good momentum and somehow more companies adopt cryptocurrency (something as large as Paypal), then we might see $30,000 by next year. I also see some large institution investing in Bitcoin so the possibility is there. The only gamble we'll have is outside factors. For example, absurd laws that will hinder a certain powerhouse, or maybe a large scam large enough to shake the market, or even something that is outside our scope.

Nonetheless, We will still see next year.
Hopefully we can see that growth. The scary thing about it is that as more companies come in pouring money to buy crypto, I think we are in for a treat because this will be a fight between this institutional whales. The other factor is bitcoin market volatility, even if we are on a bull run, we still should consider that it is inherently volatile. Absurd laws will not affect the individual hodlers, the companies on the other hand can just operate outside the country and the problem will be solved.
3157  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yolodice.com PONZI SCHEME on: December 18, 2020, 06:19:45 AM
The fact that OP does not even reply to the arguments thrown at OP in this thread makes OP a guilty one. If you really think that you the site is a scam, how come the site that you are featuring has only three complaints, I can make three accounts and do the same. It seems that you just got your ass handed to you on a silver platter considering the negative trust in your name and it seems that you just want to find a way to get back at those who got you crying.
3158  Economy / Economics / Re: Steve Wozniak's Blockchain Venture Reaches $950M In 13 Minutes on: December 18, 2020, 05:36:17 AM
It just goes to show that people are happy to blindly follow whatever their chosen celebrity is doing and the sort of cult of personality that exists around certain companies like Apple/Tesla. It probably makes little difference to Steve besides being a vanity project, but he can give the impression that it is somehow connected to Apple and will benefit in future from that ecosystem. There is so much money sloshing around at the moment, it will be interesting to see when monetary policy starts to tighten back up again - when will the money printing machines overheat?
Steve Wozniak is not just a celebrity though, he is a tech giant, but I do agree with you about fanatics, good thing about these fanatics though is they are the reason that this products are booming in the market, if you are on a business perspective, I think you will appreciate it more that someone blindly follows your product. If he has the works to back up what he is saying right now then I do not see a problem about it.

Regarding the speed of the increase in listing price, it goes to show that when you put someone that has a prestige like Steve, it will be hotcakes for the market.
3159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need ideas for my Bitcoin Blog on: December 18, 2020, 04:51:31 AM
You can talk about Blockchain and the other things that we can do besides doing transactions there. You can talk about controversial topics that challenges Bitcoin like FUDs. You can talk about bitcoin/blockchain based companies/start ups that are popping up. There are a lot to talk about bitcoin, but my word of advice is to stick to objective stories and put your bias out of the picture because that will create unnecessary schism. Put your blog in this post so we can check it out when the time comes. Wink Wink
3160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Excited about the rise, be wary about the scams, and loss on: December 18, 2020, 04:15:06 AM
the scams are everywhere its like walking on a minefield
If you know where the mines are, then you are clear to walk everywhere, sad thing about it is that most mines on the minefield are getting trickier figuratively. The only way that these scams would not be prosperous is that we as an individual be vigilant about what is happening around our circle when we are on the Internet, most scams do not target smart people but we can still be of help towards others by warning them about this scams popping up.

The only time that scammers will win is the time that we become indifferent towards their damage, so always be vigilant.
