Lending s risk free, borrower cannot default on the loan since they have already deposit margin funds to cover any potential loss. However, it s an online transaction, there s always a risk of exchange going down, being hacked or similar.
so the risk come only from poloniex..? before it i try this feature i want to ask, when lender can get his money back..? any chance we can take his money when he need..? maybe after 1hours Dont understand the question quite. The lender can close the loan whenever he wants, even after 5 minutes. Then you have to try to lend it again. |

Cause there s no mining at all and the amount of coins is not increasing at all, at least for now. So currently 0% inflation. |

Hey guys. Are there any posts that you know of to try to value Factom (Factoids)?
All of these new technologies seem in right now but I'm just trying to diversify a small % of my BTC into alts (as a hedge, as promising new tech, etc.) but it is tough to know
what can really be profitable AND useful. No doubt there is a place for many of these alts but as far as value, that is a tough one.

Noone can reasonably be interested in buying on Poloniex now!

- or better ones, who aren't accomplices in staging such shady pump & dumps.
I think you should go back to whatever troll hole you crawled out from. During the last 24 hours more Factom s been traded on Chinese exchange then Polo. Total traded amount on all exchanges s been 27,520 BTC. So obviously lots of people ve been REASONABLY interested in buying on all exchanges now. |

Arbitrage gap seems to have almost closed. No more option to buy low in China and sell high on Polo. Now we ll see what way the price ll actually move.

By the way there is a reduction in the price difference between China and Polo exchange, is now only 29%. On volumes of China forged ahead. Perhaps we will soon see an equal rate in China and Polo exchange. This is very important for future price growth. As long as there s arbitration option, the growth will be hampered. |

I think we re going to see a lot of activity in the last month before halving. Why do people wait till the last moment to increase their stash, and pay huge premium due to this, is beyond my imagination.

A user friendly wallet is a need for Factoids to be stored for non tech buyers.

This is what I think as well. True Factom is not an alt and classic storage is not the primary requirement for this it. However, Facrom needs holders and traders, not only users. Holders and traders need a simple GUI wallet, similar to Bitcoin core. I think this is very important for further adoption and the team should pay attention to the needs of the community. There have been dozen of requests for this. Other then that, next target 0.009, probably today. |

When we burn the remaining short-sellers after todays massacre Factom will go through the roof. Let's just say it's ballsy to sleep in a short today It s not short sellers who re ping ponging the price, its the bots and speculators. They like having the price in this sideways trend, this is how they make the most money. Trap those bots and push the price up so they cannot sell high and re-buy low. |
