Now there is no way of protection. Web GUI wallet was released only in one trial, so do not use it safely! This is just a trial version not for everyday use. You use it at your own risk!
For safe storage of factoids, use only paper wallet (factoidpapermill).

How send to other address from this wallet? - For example, you can use the Web GUI wallet. If you just make new factoid address and a secret key, to your new address was in the Web GUI wallet  want to import the private key into it, this can be done in the web interface WEB GUI wallet. Then you have to wait a full synchronization and you will see your new address in your Web GUI wallet and all your factoids out there, then you can send your factoids to any other address.

So it is better to use only the gui interface directly, with fewer complications. And do backups wallet.

I have tried to use papermill but it's not working for me. Downloaded factomd and the wallet (Windows), waited for the sync to be complete and the executed papermill, but all that happens is a flash of a cmd screen and then nothing. What am I doing wrong? i do get an error message when running factomd (system cannot find none.config file), but the synchronization seems to run.

Arbitrage gap seems to have almost closed. No more option to buy low in China and sell high on Polo. Now we ll see what way the price ll actually move.

I think you should go back to whatever troll hole you crawled out from. During the last 24 hours more Factom s been traded on Chinese exchange then Polo. Total traded amount on all exchanges s been 27,520 BTC.
So obviously lots of people ve been REASONABLY interested in buying on all exchanges now.

No sustainable change in price though. 12 hours 65% up,  12 hours down by the same (so  1 week 400% up - next week ***% down?) - no real interest,  besides pushing HYPE, FUD and forced liquidations on Poloniex.

More than half of Ethereums volume. We'll see $3 as soon as China catches up on the swings along with less volatility when they do. I just sized up my position quite a lot.
