The most secure way to store BTC is on a paper wallet (Cold Storage)

I hope Kluge is alright  Undecided
Last I checked, he was. Power outages for the rest of the week, though Roll Eyes
Awesomely enough, power came back late last night. I called the electric company after hearing a Friday estimate on the radio and they told me to not expect electricity until Saturday.

Unfortunately, we started cooking all the meats in the freezer since we were expecting it to rot. Couldn't light oven without taking it apart, so boiled a whole turkey. Was like chewing a roll of tape. Angry

Only fatality was a "barn kitten" which froze to death in a flower pot after being too stubborn to leave his favorite sleeping spot when the sheeting over the tiny greenhouse was shred apart by the wind. Daughter's staying with her grandma today. Should be able to get through all the unpaid transcripts and a few extras today. (.odt in .zip is fine, btw)

I live in Florida so storms are pretty regular over here. Glad you're alright.

I heard someone on another thread mention that that feature had been disabled ever since bitcointalk.org was compromised

Hmm, I wonder if Theymos could manually remove it.
3164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 90 minutes and no confirms? on: November 19, 2013, 03:52:28 AM
I'm sure it will, I have 2BTC in my name. But, I use Cold Storage generally.
3165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 90 minutes and no confirms? on: November 19, 2013, 03:46:28 AM
it never asked me for a fee, sometimes it does, sometimes it dosent... i sent only 1 btc

I recommend just waiting a few more hours.

I heard some people are complaining this. Maybe the network is too busy since crazy market flow?

I assume that's possible.

For some reason it won't let me change the picture associated with my account.
Is there anyone that could manually remove it?

Thanks   Smiley
3167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 90 minutes and no confirms? on: November 19, 2013, 03:37:10 AM
This usually happens due to the fact that you may have forgotten to send the BTC with a miner's fee.

How much BTC did you transact?
3168  Other / Off-topic / Re: If this were to happen.. Could it be the end? on: November 19, 2013, 03:10:18 AM
There goes a $200 drop guys! lol

I think it'll be at $1000 soon enough Smiley
3169  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC-E Petition - Reduce Minimum Withdraw amount. on: November 19, 2013, 02:52:39 AM
Sign the petition to show BTC-E Staff how we'd like a reduced minimum withdraw fee!
Currently the minimum withdraw fee is .10BTC.

This would promote increased volume and would generally give users a better trading experience.

Thanks in advance!  Grin

The Prime Minister of Russia writes in Bitcointalk! Bullish as hell.

i believe we will see $2000 before seeing some stability.

Makes sense. I wish I had more BTC holding at the moment. But I'm not in a good financial state at the moment, as I'm a student. 2BTC will have to suffice for now. Smiley
3180  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to hit $1000! on: November 18, 2013, 11:11:35 PM
Itll probably cap around that.. 1000

Why do you think it'll cap at $1000?
