3161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: March 12, 2021, 04:57:10 AM
Bitcoin and ethereum is now increasing the price day by day. How how to choose and invest the coin. Bitcoin or ethereum which is the best future investment and how to invest the coins. Kindly explain me the Bitcoin and ethereum coins deats. Kindly share the link also. Which is best opportunity for invitations coins. Kendriya give me your advice to invest the best coins
Bitcoin is in its bull run and it has yet topped up.

Ethereum broke the 2018 all time high and set its new all time high this year. The Ethereum 2.0 success is unknown and we need to wait for it. If that upgrade brings a big success for Ethereum, projects, transaction fess, Ethereum can rise more.

If you want to choose only one, choose bitcoin.
If you want to diversify your portfolio, choose both bitcoin and ethereum with more capital for bitcoin.
3162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sources of information on: March 12, 2021, 04:44:36 AM
What are some solid sources of information you are using to take trading decisions?
I am new into Bitcoin/crypto trading and I'm pretty much basing all my decisions on what I read on CoinDesk and what I hear on the Ledger Cast podcast.
In crypto market, the first place you can take a look when need information for your investigation are:
https://coinmarketcap.com/
https://www.coingecko.com/en
https://messari.io/
From those sites, you can move forward to visit websites of projects and find out more. I am not a fan of news but if you need to read news, you can check some websites in the [HUGE LIST] Useful Crypto Links !!!
3163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: OK I have all my charts set up(screenshot)and BTC invested what can I learn from on: March 11, 2021, 12:47:37 AM
What would you do? WWYD?
Zoom out your chart to get what is happening with the general price movements. This step to zoom out help you to identify resistance and support. Notice the changes of volume together with any peak or dip.

Zoom in the chart to last few days (1D candle) and use 30 min or 15 min candle to choose your entry. Price usually bounces after 4 or 5 red candles and falls back after 4 or 5 green candles.
3164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas fees and investing on: March 11, 2021, 12:32:54 AM
The transfer fee on the Ethereum platform for ERC20 is very high, although we only transfer small token values. the fee is so high.
Transaction fee on ERC-20 chain depends on Gas price you use and the smart contracts. Swap on decentralized finance (DeFi) often has very high fees cause by smart contract. With same Gas price, you will get cheaper transaction fee if you move your ETH, not ERC-20 tokens. If it is swap, fees will be higher.

Huge fees are really disappointing but not I think this will be the reason why we have to leave and forget ETH. This will be resolve soon, the team is working on it patiently and we have to give them the support they need. Because the success of their plans is the success of everyone. If we have bothered too much with the fees, it might be good not to withdraw it this time.
No one abandon bitcoin blockchain forever only because of temporary high transaction fees. Bitcoin and Ethereum are two biggest blockchains and the movement out of ERC-20 chains won't last long. They will come back to ETH blockchain soon. The higher the total hashrate on the network, the more safety from that blockchain for transactions.

Bitcoin and Ethereum have biggest total hashrates in crypto.
3165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Centralized exchanges could manipulate PoS coins on: March 10, 2021, 01:49:34 AM
Once that happens, ETC will be left as the only decentralized version of Ethereum in the crypto/Blockchain space.
ETC is far than a dead project but it is not good enough to call as an active project. The Github of ETC has limited activities. https://github.com/ethereumclassic

A hybrid consensus algorithm (PoW + PoS) would essentially solve the problem of PoS centralization.

Nonetheless, people don't care about decentralization if they're able to fill their pockets with money. They're only focused on convenience and ease-of-use.
I agree with you on the suggestion with hybrid of PoW and PoS for Ethereum but the plan is set and as you discussed, Vitalik and Ethereum team did not make a preventive plans, plan B to come back when their PoS fails with the mission to keep ETH network as decentralized as it is.

Convenience, easy to use and profitable for their capital investment are priorities of most people. Centralization/ Decentralization is not what they care of.

ApeSwap Burn Plan - Step 1!

A nice little read where we are laying out the plan and steps we'll take to ensure that the token burn plan will be in full swing!
The Treasury/ DEX buy backs is planned to be done the first phase in 3 months. After first 3 months, results will be evaluated and next plans will be made. It is too soon to say but if that buy back won't be expanded, I think the ApeSwap team can consider to expand current promotion (signature campaign) or run Video contest with clear guides on some focusing contents about ApeSwap.

Videos with good quality can help to expose ApeSwap to crypto communities.
Quote
During our first 3 months, 100% of our ApeSwap Treasury will be used to buyback and burn $BANANA. Once this period ends we will reevaluate the best use of these funds with the community.
3167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Atomic Swaps or Decentralized Exchanges? on: March 09, 2021, 02:44:25 AM
There are a list of exchanges here https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dai#markets

Anyway, if you don't care about the high transaction fee(due to network congestion) you can try Uniswap or Sushiswap. Those exchanges are decentralized without KYC and I think they won't comply with the tax and they have the same charge fee of 0.3% trading fee.
Smart contracts on those Uniswap, Sushiswap, any swaps combine with the high transaction gas price on the ERC-20 chain will charge users very expensive transaction fees.

Not all tokens have their smart contracts are built on Binance Smart Chain and have plans to make a hybrid contracts for ERC-20 chain and BSC chain. I would like to use centralized exchanges to trade tokens. Swap is a trend from DeFi and people don't realize that they lost many transaction fees from swaps.

If people want to use swaps, they can consider to choose BSC chain and tokens that support that chain in order to save fees. ERC-20 chain is not good at this time and we have to wait for good upgrades from ETH 2.0.

Huobi exchange creates their HECO chain but this chain needs more time to attract developers and users.

3168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Centralized exchanges could manipulate PoS coins on: March 09, 2021, 02:39:05 AM
Exchanges support hard forks or swaps only to build up their reputation and keep old users staying at their exchanges, attract new users (from bad support exchanges for forks, swaps).

Exchanges create pools for invest, lending, staking to gain their benefits from service fees and when one person use one exchange, activities are not restricted to staking only. That user will use exchange for trading and bring trading fees to the exchange. In addition, withdrawals will be submitted and bring other incomes to exchanges when they save fees from batch withdrawals.

I agree with you that decentralization is a must and should be kept as much big as possible. Many people join crypto market but don't care to learn and practice. They want things are easy, convenient, one click to finish. Exchanges give them those convenient services. I loud of lot when some people I have conversations with don't know what is hashes of their transactions.
3169  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is correlation between bitcoin halving and bullrun on: March 08, 2021, 02:17:39 AM
The total supply of bitcoin, the block halving schedule are publicly given in the white paper and it was well known by years. They are not new specifications of bitcoin but around (before and after) every block halving, news will be more focused about it. News hype the social media, the people will know more about bitcoin. The hype of news attract new people to invest, trade, and love bitcoin.

New institutes will join the bitcoin investment. As institutes with big capital, they will move their bitcoin from exchange accounts, wallets to their cold, non-custodial wallets. It creates another hype of news and make bitcoin looks more difficult to buy.

All hypes interact mutually and create a hype on the market. Price will rise from the hypes in the community.

Google Trends shows ‘Bitcoin’ searches at 2020 high as BTC tops $19.4K
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=bitcoin (2013, 2017 and 2020). I think the all time high will appear in 2021.
3170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: March 08, 2021, 01:10:09 AM
I see some crazy numbers being thrown around, one is an Ethereum coin going to 100k in 2030. How can you tell if a price prediction is too high in relation to market cap? Some people say some coins cannot hit a certain market cap. How can you tell if a market cap value is too much for a certain coin? I understand that there are coins where there are great number of circulating supply, but why can't they reach trillions in market cap?
Ethereum is an altcoin and its price won't be higher than bitcoin, never. The possibility for Ethereum price to touch $100,000 is very low but there is a very small prob that it might happen. I don't believe in it but you can consider the related price of bitcoin. If Ethereum gets a price $100,000, what price bitcoin will have in that day? $1,000,000 for one bitcoin.

2030 is 2 years later the next two halvings: next one is in 2024 and second is in 2028. In that day, bitcoin will create a feeling of scarcity as its block rewards will be halved two times and become 3.15625 BTC for every bitcoin block. $300,000 in 2025 and $1,000,000 in 2030 is very possible.

3172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is so volatile? What are the major factors that drive it? on: March 07, 2021, 03:22:41 AM
Volatility mainly drives from being unregulated and I still think that it is a good think and not a bad thing, I believe we should probably just accept it as it is because we are profiting from it as well.
It is only existing in crypto market. This characteristic of volatility can not be found in other markets. There are circuit breaks in stock markets. The unrestricted margin of volatility for now gives us chances and risks. To get profit and reduce losses, we have to manage risks for our investments and tradings. By manage our portfolio and decentralize it.

Quote
I get that people do not like it when it goes down so much so quickly, who would love to see 30% go down that is of course a bad thing for many people but we have also made 5x increase as well so if we didn't had that kind of volatility we couldn't make any profit like this neither. Long story short we are not in a bad situation with these volatile prices, we should see this as an advantage and just focus on buying more and more during drops and smiling during the bull periods Cheesy.
Make stop loss or stop limit for trades. If your position is on-going with profit but you want to take profit at higher targets, use positive stop loss for your profit. It will protect your profit and your capital. Don't be greedy and lose profit as well as capital with crash by too high volatility in crypto.
3173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A book to read on when to sell (before a crash) on: March 07, 2021, 02:55:15 AM
I am not willing to trade on a daily basis, but I know for example about the 2017 crash.
The collapse of the market in 2018 is more correct. Bitcoin got its all time high in December 2017 and altcoins got their all time highs in January 2018. If you want to learn about crash, look at the dump in March 2020. It's a very classic crash.

Quote
Is there a reputable book, written by a reputable author, on how to know when to sell? It's like if a crypto goes 50x in one year there is a chance at some point that there will be a crash. I need to know APPROXIMATELY when I should sell.
If you set your target at 50x, you can be kill before price gets it. 50x is too greedy in my opinion. 3x or 5x is greedy enough to get profit for your investment in shit altcoins.

Volume is what you need to look. If price moves up x times but volume does not increase much. It will be crashed anytime soon.
3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB has surpassed ETH!!! While BNB still 7x cheaper than ETH right now on: March 06, 2021, 01:12:51 PM
The only difference for end user is 0.2$ fee instead of 70$. I use BSC more than eth these days. I stopped to accept ETH chain tokens as reward (payment) -f.e stable coins. I ask for Tron usdt or BSC BUSD, BSC USDC. Same when I use crypto to pay for services. ETH is unusable for < 10 000$ transactions.
It is the truth. I am saying my personal acceptance. I hate the CEO of TRON but I use TRC-20 for my USDT transactions all time. Why do I have to choose ERC-20 and be charged with expensive fees for my withdrawals. While if I choose TRON and TRC-20 chain, I have almost 0 withdrawal and transaction fees.

It is indeed not a difficult choice at any level of consideration, for me.
3175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB has surpassed ETH!!! While BNB still 7x cheaper than ETH right now on: March 06, 2021, 11:49:30 AM
People want cheap and fast, Binance give them Binance Smart Chain for developers and users of ERC-20 tokens. I am not surprising to see people switch their chains from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

This try to flip of Binance Smart Chain is great and on-going but will Ethereum fails with its upgrade to solve their scalability and fees? I don't know. They might succeed and resolve the potential flip.

You can check the coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/. After days of hype, Polkadot, Cardano are slowly pulling back and Tether USD is on the third position again.
3176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone here use tradingview? on: March 06, 2021, 11:39:00 AM
I have a binance acct with 1000$ in it that I have been trying to get the user name and password to. Their tech support sucks

I just paid the 15 bucks because I dont want to deal with any BS while trading. The money I make trading well pays for it.
Do I miss something on Binance? I only know 2 options to log in account on Binance: phone number or email address and password. No username is used to create or log in account.

I just want three panes: Price, bolinger band, and awesome oscillator and want all three to sync to the same time frame so I can quickly look at 1hr 6hr 1 day and 15min. Maybe I just cant see...
Did you click on X and disable all indicators on the chart? Binance allows two tabs on computer: Original or Trading view. You can choose the Trading view tab and get many indicators.

3178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find an old transaction in ETH block explorers? on: March 05, 2021, 03:33:55 AM
i bought the Erc20 token XDCE in 2019 on an exchange and hold it there until a week ago..
now i need the transaction hash oft that purchase as a proof for buying...
how to obtain that proof or TX hash? the exchange where i bought (p2pb2b) provides only date, amount, price in my trading history..

and ETH explorer etc. is not helping, don´t know how to find the old transaction (the buying) there...
tried the XDCE explorer as well but it seems to be impossible because i don´t have any search options for date..
You only can trace your past transactions if you have your ETH addresses or ERC-20 addresses. If you have your address, you can use any of these ETH block explorers to trace.
(Compilation) What is the best Ethereum explorer?

As was said by others, you don't get txhash from your filled buy orders.

Quote
with the deposit adress alone it´s not working.
You can only check your trading history page and export it if possible.

What happened with that exchange?
What happened with your account on it?
What is the XDCE token? I can not find it on P2PB2B.io exchange, on coinmarketcap or coingecko.
