3161  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: April 15, 2016, 03:04:40 PM
I would not selling at this time since the price is currently going back and forth like a see saw. It was good this morning but now back to the same price that it was yesterday. I would recommend waiting until it reaches a higher level on the price market before selling any as of now.
3162  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: April 15, 2016, 02:59:06 PM
It has helped me on my progress into the world of bitcoin tremendously!
If I have not stumbled upon it on a search using google about wallets and which ones to use... I would have just given up on trying to find out how to use it. Thanks to bitcointalkforums it has open my eyes on how it really works.

I cannot connect Sad Sad Sad.

are you behind a firewall or something else that is blocking the access?

I don't think so.. alas.. I have a feeling I am to stupid to figure it out..
He even refers if you are using a router for your connection. Cause if they are configured as a firewall, then you won't be able to connect to them without the proper settings configured to allow them to come thru your connection.
But alas, I am still not able to connect. And no, I am not behind a firewall. I am smart in the way of how the internet works  Wink  Grin

I tried to connect just now too. But without any success. Is the service down or is it just on a per user to user basis for these connection issues? I understand it is a new service but still it should be accessible for all to use for the first week or so before they do any maintenance for the up tick for the increase in traffic to their site. That is expected if it is such a success with it's current user base.
3165  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [2016-04-14] Shapeshift Update: Security Breach Could be an Inside Job on: April 14, 2016, 02:16:29 PM
Isn't this usually the case. How else would these "top secured" companies that they proclaim they are get hacked in the first place? It is almost always an inside job or they get insider information which they usually use social engineering to obtain it from an employee that does not know better than to trust their better judgement.
3166  Economy / Auctions / Re: senior bitcointalk account on: April 14, 2016, 02:11:27 PM
Well this auction ended quite abruptly. Giving away 2 newbie account was not worth revealing the account for sale in the first place. If that is in fact the account that is being sold that is.
3167  Economy / Speculation / Re: $486 WOT the hell is going on???????? on: April 14, 2016, 01:46:06 PM
The price is now indeed rising slowly and that is quite nice for the people who are waiting for a price increase so they can sell it in the future with some good profit.
It will be really nice if we can reach that value, and that makes also many people happy.
I forgot that the price was ever this high only 5 months ago. Thinking it was around $250 at most around that time. How the times change so quickly in the bitcoin world. Just can't believe it was higher than what it is now at that time. So that does make the outlook of $500 soon so much more possible now since it was that close only half a year ago.
3168  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 14, 2016, 01:41:39 PM
Вuy raw materials in my country (Ukraine) and bring in your own. Very profitable.
Someone could do that but they will not be rich. They might actually be poorer then when they first started. The shipping costs alone will kill the amount you would be making in profit. You might actually, if your lucky, just break even. This all depends what type of materials you are talking about. If it is heavy like concrete then forget about it. What else does Ukraine have as a natural resource that is valuable anyways. If you can corner that market in your own country then you would be a rich man.
3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PACQUIAO OR BRADLEY???????? on: April 14, 2016, 06:19:02 AM
That was a obvious win for pacquio but I was hoping that bradley was going to win from a couple of rounds that confused pacman for a bit. But it was a good full fight that did not disappoint anyone.
doesn't he own Bradley's rights anyways so he gets a cut from his fights? Just like how Tyson's manager owned the opposing fighters rights too so he got paid either way who ever won the fight.  Cheesy

My order of likely winners : Bayern, Atletico, City, Real

Liverpool - Dortmund : may be a score draw, but think Dortmund will have too much for Pool come crunch time
I am in with those picks in that order too. Come to think of it. I will put some money on Manchester City and Atletico to win their matches as Real Madrid has failed my parlays in the past so I don't trust or rely on them to pull out a win when it matters. They draw some of their games too when it really counts.
3171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i have only 3bitcoin, can you help me to build my first rig ..? on: April 14, 2016, 05:19:25 AM
I would think if you have no prior knowledge on how mining equipment works, then I would suggest that you buy a pre-configured system so that will simplify things to get you going.
Then once you get the hang of it to upgrade parts on it to tweak it so to have it running at it maximum capacity.
3172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: April 14, 2016, 05:17:07 AM
I have encountered this such problem in the past. I have since stopped using bitcoin core as a wallet and not had a wallet that you need to download to your computer to use it since I find it annoying to have to download the blockchain every time you log into the program. Not to mention it eats up alot of my bandwidth that I seem to be running out of when the end of the month approaches.
3173  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY WEBSITE help Me QUIT GAMBLING. on: April 14, 2016, 05:13:04 AM
So throwing yourself into the website helped distract you from gambling?
Or seeing others gamble helped you achieve this, just curious because gambling has been a issue for me most of my adult life.
Well as I see it: It is a new approach on trying to quit gambling. This method is probably used in the early way to ween off addicted gamblers in AA therapy. So if it helping those that use it, then use it I say. It is fictitious money anyways so what is the harm? I like it and will recommend it to anyone I know who has this similar problem and needs an outlet to slowly get them off gambling.
3174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 14, 2016, 02:51:22 AM
That's the treble you've all been waiting for, Real madrid, Real Sociedad and now Atletico madrid, TREBLE of losses

Atletico madrid will win it this time hope no ramos header
I like Atletico's chances of winning it all. Their play is very nice and their defense is second to none with any other team in la liga. I like the players as no one is better than the other only thing that is against them is their last couple of games that their big names were carded which can hurt their chances in the length of this stretch to the finals.
3175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Martingale Profitable ??? on: April 14, 2016, 02:47:28 AM
I tried this method for winning but it was hit and miss for me.
I don't find it profitable as it designed if you are lucky which is not a strategy at all.
I found that if it hits the same color, card, or symbol that does not mean it will hit the next or opposite one in the next hand/roll/spin or in the next 3. This is not a guaranteed way to place your bets or wagering any amount of money cause you are susceptible to falling into the hole just as easily as not using this method.
3176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH will go to $100, then shoot up to BTC all time high on: April 10, 2016, 02:58:44 AM
i think BTC will drop a lot and steady, Eth will drop in a dump, Lisk will boom up and then drop and Nxt will be a steady rise from here
So you think that NxT will be the next big thing to rise? I remember having small amounts of it but then didn't think it would move anywhere so I lost my wallet and pass phrase  Roll Eyes
3177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand the altcoin market? on: April 10, 2016, 02:56:15 AM
People who tell you to do your research usually mean that you have to pick a coin or several and buy those then after that to follow the market. It is easy to see which ones are hot but it takes a real good trader to spot a coin that is not very known and then buy alot of that when it is not very high in price then watch it shoot up in price in the next few weeks.
3178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PACQUIAO OR BRADLEY???????? on: April 10, 2016, 02:53:01 AM
I going with bradley because I like to bet on the underdog of these kind of matches. All the hype and the favorite to win usually does not deliver. But we will see in the next 1 hour or so when the match finally starts.

I tried the site out but I didn't get how to use it.
I either have to use a different browser I believe so I can experience this site fully so I can use it properly.
3180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: April 09, 2016, 06:48:28 PM
Bitcoin is king here so nothing will surpass it unless you purchase alot in any alternate coin you will say the same. Until one that can prove it's self worthy in value then it will keep to the top of every coin holder's wish list to have.
