3161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 24, 2021, 12:34:16 AM
Zverev ended the season well, I predict the final will be the same as the first round they met so confidently placed a bet at over 22.5 but Zverev was able to finish it in 2 straight sets, and broke 5 consecutive losses to Medvedev.
Djokovic's dominance slowly began to be replaced, AO 2022 is not an easy thing for him to be able to defend his title or his target to take all GS tittle in 2022, might be he still able to add more GS tiitle between 1-2 in 2022.

Both Zverev and Medvedev beat Djokovic this year so it proves that these younger
players are getting closer to claiming the #1 spot and challenging each other for
it on a regular basis, I think the dominance of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic is over,
yes Djokovic still has some GS that he can win but the challenge is bigger already for 2022.
The great results they have achieved this year, and next year it will be very possible to see all three face each other in major tournaments, some names who are also very likely to compete, Tsitsipas at RG because this is his favorite surface and Berrettini at wimbledon.

Absolutely, we have to consider the current top 10 as challengers to climb higher
or defend their positions. We can also factor in Dominic Thiem to make a comeback
and also we will be watching Carlos Alcaraz in 2022, great things are expected from him.

Yeah, I'm also excited to see Dominic Thiem come out next year and insert his name in the discussion again to challenge the big 3 or at least Djokovic in the top 1. It's just sad that he got injured in this very exciting season this year. Alcaraz, Sinner is also improving and could be a big threat as well to land in the top 5. So Medvedev, Zverev and Tsitsipas still on the top 3 but we have a lot of challengers as well. So I'm looking for a good 2022 with a lot of names trying to position themselves and winning tournaments.
3162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 22, 2021, 12:09:21 AM

What's next for Crawford then? Looking for him to compete next with the best-of-the-best after this winning against Shawn Porter. Watching it live yesterday (at my time), we can see already on the early rounds the distance between these 2 fighters.

Kudos to Shawn Porter though that he try to keep up with his phase. Crawford is just too much to handle.

If he no longer signs with Top Rank and be a free agent then a lot of fights could be made.

But we all know what we wanted, a Crawford vs Errol Spence Jr, for unification of the Welterweight division and to see who are the best.

Both are undefeated, and still at the prime of their careers and this could be the biggest fight in 147 lbs since Floyd vs Manny Pacquiao.
3163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Vs 2021 on: November 21, 2021, 03:12:07 AM
The cryptocurrency industry is quite unpredictable, the 2017 bull run should not be a yardstick for predictions as several things have changed in the past two years. Many more people are involved in the cryptocurrency space and the market capitalisation has increased significantly. It's best to unlearn the market situation of 2017 and approach the market with a new perspective.

Yeah, but at least we should look at how the cookie crumble during 2017. The market is still immature back then, well you can say that there are a lot of noobs that time who think that the price will continue to grow despite signs that we are in a bubble already.

Anyhow, here we go again, we are in the period of bull run and eventually it will have to burst. But let's see, maybe the crypto market has change a lot since then, we've learn from our mistakes.

And then Bitcoin's narrative is also different from 2017. Now it become more of a store of value and then we have institutions and government to back the market up.
3164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 21, 2021, 01:41:31 AM
~snip~
What do you think about the statement of Kambasos that Lopez was scared of him?
^ That is a part of could it be their marketing plan, throwing such statement to get people interest and can able to support them not even inside the ring. Let us see if where Kambosos it goes, Lopez still have a great experience and I think that is not a reason that Loez will lose at this fight and it seems the fight is near, it should be next week and I hope I can able to see their fight on a live channel or any platform services they have used.
However, do you know a gambling casino that has an alive show one on this event, take note just for free?

Yeah, and he is playing mind games with Teo Lopez. And as the fight gets close, they are in the stage wherein it is a mental game now.

Kambosos though is still a huge underdog in this match so let's see if he really has the tools to beat a good power boxer in Lopez and hope that his chin will hold to, because once Lopez touch that chin, he will feel the power and successful all his plan and strategy will change.

They can still throw some trash talks to gain attention from boxing fans.
Only few days left and we will see if this fight is a real toe-to-toe fight.

Also, hard to find free streaming for this fight.
What I usually do is just read the live round per round analysis of boxing analysts, where you can find online.
So you have idea what's going on if you can't watch it live.
You can watch it after the fight though for free.

I think for me, trash talking should be done by now. Both of them should be focusing now on the fight and the strategy and probably trying to play out in their minds what's going to be outcome whether it's a knock out or decision win.

Same here, if I can't find a good live stream, I will try to search on Facebook.

But if not, then we can read it on some boxing websites on the per round and just used our imagination as to how the fight is really going on.
3165  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $143k USD in DEZ a JAN on: November 21, 2021, 01:02:07 AM
^^ Yeah, I think I've seen this kind of "calculation" before, cant' remember if the formula is included in PlanB's S2F modelling.

However, S2F is predicting $98,000 this month which might be difficult to achieved in 10 days as we are just breaking $60,000. Not unless there is a huge upsurge in the price and investors pouring billions in the market.

In any case, as the OP said, we should look long term and this is probably just another prediction, hit or missed.
3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 21, 2021, 12:34:21 AM
I think the key here for Porter to win is to really bring the fight to Crawford and make him uncomfortable and not allow him to set up his counter and switching stance. He really needs to break Terence Crawford for the whole duration of the fight if he wanted to create an upset in the division.

For Crawford, use his technical skills, stay away from Porter and make the fight happen in the middle of the ring. Not allowing himself to be trap in the corner and play defense because Porter are going to smother him.
3167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 21, 2021, 12:05:50 AM
And just like that, Djokovic lost to Zverev in three sets. Zverev won the first set, then Djokovic comes back in the second and just needed a break to win. However, Zverev can't be denied. Djokovic committed some uncanny unforced error in the third. Try to bet on Djokovic when he lost the first set at 2.xx something, tough luck.

So it will be Medvedev vs Zverev now in the finals.
3168  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: November 20, 2021, 04:21:26 AM
It's too early to say if this is a bear trap or not, the price went from $55,000 to $58,000 in just 24-48 hours and one thing to take note is that it happens on a weekend. So I'm not that confident of a the reversal as it may attract inexperience traders.

So let's see how it goes next week, if the price continue to an uptrend then this could be a reversal and we might see $60,000 again and the market getting on the bullish phase again.
3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot forecast on: November 20, 2021, 03:23:52 AM
Also if I may add, there is also an element of 'near miss or near hit' in slots. Meaning you thought you have a good outcome on your favor, i.e getting 2 out of 3 characters to get a bonus.

Now you are encouraged to play more and thinking that you will get lucky and hit the bonus and give you a windfall, but it is not. You still have to play a lot of rolls just to be able to get that bonus round and maybe by that time, all your capital have been lost in the game.
3170  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 20, 2021, 02:43:06 AM
Since Canelo is moving to a higher level in the championship it will not be that easy for and no one should except much from him particularly now that is going to face an expert in that level who has lost fight since the last five years and not just that but has had 25 knockout win out of 28 victories.

Of course, moving up in weight is not that easy specially gaining 10-20 lbs. And obviously, this is not Canelo's natural weight. But we've seen how great Canelo is, and he is chasing more greatness by moving to a new weight classes. I wouldn't call  Ilunga Makabu a expert, he has losses already. The timing is right for Canelo to move up and win another belt and faces one of the weakest champion in the Cruiserweight division.
3171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: November 20, 2021, 02:14:42 AM
Looking at how the end month of 2021 looks not so great, I believe that 2022 will be another bull run. If it was only a super increase for the rest of the year and we ended up with 100k then I would say a crash would be close, however since we got rid of the crash right now already and we already had a drop that means we are going to eventually recover. This means that we should not be really waiting for it to go down all year next year, that would be a lot of money going out of bitcoin and I doubt that would happen.

In a sense it would be great if we don't reach that 6 digit that we all have been expected. Why? Because we still have another chance in 2022 so at least the bull run will keep on running and  somewhat not seeing a bearish trend.

What I believe will happen is that we will keep on being low for a while longer and then we are going to end up going up for a long time as well. This way I am hoping to have some sort of big ATH increase once again during sometime in 2022. I do not know when it will happen but spring seems to be the best time, if not then maybe next October could be decent enough.

Slowly but surely is the name of the game right now. So there's nothing wrong to see the price that low for a while. On the contrary, it might be on a sideways patterns and hopefully the break out run will not that drastic or parabolic to push the price very quick because we all know that after that maybe we will see another crash.
3172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 20, 2021, 12:00:25 AM
I went for Under 22.5 games in the match between Rublev and Ruud, plus i have Rublev to win the match i hope he wins it 2-0 in straight sets. Currently Rublev is dominating and already 2 breaks up in the first set, while Ruud keeps making unforced errors and cant hit anything
Worse possible outcome for you in the end. Unfortunately Rublev buckled under the pressure once more, what is worse He had a break in second set as well. Then I skipped some games since I had other stuff to do and came back towards the end of 3rd set. Was a great match but I still can't believe that Ruud passed to semi finals in the Masters on very fast surface. Just shows once more that this is maybe weakest top 10 we had in last 20 years. I am not 100% sure but I think this is first time in his life that Ruud won against better ranked player outside clay surface.

And of course, I had Rublev to win as well, so another loss for me. Tournament started well for me but then I made some stupid bets and had some bad to luck so I'll be happy if I finish it on positive zero.

Today for betting for me i received a couple of impossible losses. Rublev was leading 6-2 and 2-1 with a break advantage and then was able to lose this set somehow. Then in third set again had a break advantage and couldnt confirm it and lost it and then lost the match in tie break. Ruud was missing everything in this match. These two how they are playing dont deserve to be in top 15 let alone top 8

Same here, I have a parlay with Rublev -2.5 + Djokovic winning = 2.15 odds.

So when I saw that Rublev won the first set easy 6-2, I said that I have a good chance to win by bet.
But suddenly the second set was different, hoping for a tie-break and maybe Rublev can still make it. Still continue to monitor the match though, Rublev up 3-2, was able to break, but tough luck, he loss the game and gave it back to Rublev.

So what I did is to cash out early in the third set, Ruud up 1-0, suffer just a few sat losses.

And then I bet what remains to Djokovic handicap -4.5, so eventually it was a good decision on my end.
3173  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price now on: November 19, 2021, 03:52:40 AM
Just relax and take the dip.

Yep, we can't do anything about the current correction we are seeing, we have to accept it.

This is just part of the process, but always look at the future as bitcoin will eventually achieve a new ATH, maybe not this year but for sure by next year there will be a lot of surprises. In every ATH reached, we can always expect a correction and what we are seeing is just pure correction.

Also, don't be surprise as if you only see it now as it's been this way ever since.

For those of us who have seen this kind of 'flash crash', we think of it as just part and normal process. And so we built mental toughness and then we wait till the price bounce back and recovered and the process repeats itself. So nothing to be surprise here, and we should always look at the bright side, that this dip is a good time to buy and it won't last that long and perhaps we can reach all time high again in December.
3174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 19, 2021, 03:24:01 AM
I have this feeling that the poll will end with Murata getting a zero vote Golovkin is still good and he still has that killer instinct and even if he has not fought for quite some time, a fighter is as good as his last fight the long layoff will not be an indication that he losses his power and quickness, I have not seen any boxer that can keep up with him except of course Canelo, this fight is a good build-up if promoters and the boxing community still wants to see the third match against Canelo and Golovkin.

GGG   - 8 (100%)
Murata   - 0 (0%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)
Total Voters: 8
It is entirely possible, now the poll is 17-0 in favor of GGG and I doubt much will change, after all I am a boxing fan and I think I have seen Murata fighting once, while GGG is an international boxing star that I have seen multiple times above the ring.

So it is natural that people are voting for GGG to win the fight as they know about his boxing abilities above the ring while Murata is mostly a mystery to most of them.

Yeah, for casual fans, Murata is relatively unknown, mostly fans in Japan but he is the champion as well.

And majority of us have followed GGG, or at least seen him fights in the States many times specially the Alvarez fight wherein it was really close.

So majority will vote for GGG here, as he has all the tools to get Murata's belt and unify the MW again.
3175  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russian TrickBot Gang Hacker Extradited to U.S. Charged with Cybercrime on: November 19, 2021, 01:43:15 AM
Oh well, good riddance to this cyber criminals, they really thought that they are above the law and can't be reached by the US.

So this guy makes a lot of mistakes, travel to a country wherein there is extradition treaty to US and then get capture, too sloppy for a high stakes criminals. Now he has to suffer the consequences, facing up to 60 years? By the time he gets out, he will be 80++ so I doubt that he will survived that long in the prison.
3176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 19, 2021, 01:09:30 AM
Of course, if he somewhat pull an upset against the legend Donaire, then it will be Gaballo's time to shine and hopefully he will be the next big boxer coming out of PH.

But yes, this is very tough for either of them, Gaballo has the power, and we all know that Nonito's chin is that that strong, we've seen him tagged and goes down in some of his career losses. Still one month to go before this fight happens, and we can only wish that this will be as entertaining fight as everyone is expected although is all-PH boxers.
The upset can happen, so Donaire at big risk here because if he loss this might be the end of his career though a possible rematch can happen. Gaballo will give his best on this match because this might be the start of his good career in boxing and looking at his previous matches, he’s pretty good. Even if this is a Filipino match, I can still see the excitement between these two boxer, they’ll do their best to give us the best fight.

But first and foremost, when will this going to happen? As I noticed, we are all just speculating here but no defined date yet. So this may not even push thru and Donaire may face another opponent. So I am just awaiting if they will ever published the date and venue for this fight. It is much better to have discussion if we know this is going thru.

What fight are you talking about? Donaire vs Gaballo? We already have a date isn't it? December 11.

 https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/11/1/22757042/nonito-donaire-next-fight-vs-reymart-gaballo-agreed-december-11-showtime-boxing-news-2021

So this is no longer speculation and that's why we have this thread.

If you are talking about Donaire vs Inoue, it's obvious that it will not happen yet as Donaire needs to win this one first.

So that discussion here is Donaire vs Gaballo, and other than that, other fights, Donaire vs Inoue or Donaire vs Casimero is all speculation.
3177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 19, 2021, 12:38:36 AM
Medvedev vs Sinner: Tricky game to choose from. Medvedev is in decent form but the match being held at Sinner's home country while he was very good against Hurkacz. I still would go for Medvedev to win.. but for the odds provided. Doesn't seem worth it for me.
Well he won first set 6:0, but I would still not take those odds even if I knew this beforehand. He does not need the win so anything can happen, especially since Sinner is playing in front of a home crowd.  I have actually put a small bet on Sinner after he lost first set 6:0, got odds @10, not gonna come but I could not resist.

Almost mate, almost. Sinner had a match point, failed to convert it though.

Just imagine if he won this match, the crowd are going to explode. But still good performance by Sinner though, he was really very close on beating Medvedev here.

Rublev vs Ruud, this might end up in two sets for Rublev.
3178  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: November 18, 2021, 03:13:13 AM
We are back to the 50 day average now and some fib level support from previous action.   It can recover from here now thats occured it may flush some of the selling.  The volume was higher on this day then most though which shows it wont be easy to undo exactly.

Big fan of MAs but 200, though have to say am even bigger "fan" of volume so yeah, the numbers behind the dip is of some concern to me. Thought that the weekend and Monday was going to turn this thing on its head but then we're seeing a lot of weakness spill out from Bitcoin into the stronger alts as well (ETH especially) so I won't be surprised if the selling appetite grows this week.

As long as we spend more days above 60 than below til Sunday, we should be all right. Until next week anyway.

Well we haven't dip that low, $60,000 is the max that I've seen so far so we are still good.

But the volume is still so-so to me, either Bitcoin->Altcoin or Bitcoin cashing out is happening. Weekends is still like days though, a lot of things can happen in the next 24 hours, but I'm not expecting any sudden moves, perhaps we might be trading sideways until weekends or some recovery to $61,000 but that's it. And then we start a new week hoping for a good bounce to at least $65,000.
3179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 18, 2021, 02:26:52 AM
It's more of Casimero-Inoue that has already been saying before but there's no contract yet and that's why WBO managed to order and got in before their match. But again, it became unknown and we still have to wait until it comes.

It's only hyped here in that thread but on the overall market, the hype is not yet big. Promoters may be thinking that it's not time yet to re-organized the Casimero vs Inoue match this December. No problem about the numbers that Inoue can attract but for Casimero, he needs to make his name bigger. He was mandatorily assigned to Butler as a challenge for him to make big sounds again if he won.

Yes, it's more of us boxing fans wanting to see the fight happen, and then Casimero and Inoue go on a verbal tuss on their social media. But after that, it didn't materialized, so it's all hype for now.

On the other hand, Butler's name will make sounds too if he beat Casimero. No easy win for Casimero here like others think. Butler should be considered as a serious threat for Quadro Alas.

Casimero though, has used to this kind of fight, going to the boxers home, and then just destroyed them in from of their fans. It's no easy task, but Casimero has done that many times in his career, Butler is no exception.
3180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 18, 2021, 02:03:20 AM
^^ Maybe there is good money on GGG here, we all know that Japanese loves to throw money around Christmas and New Year so it make sense for GGG's camp to go to Japan and seek bigger price.

He is still the A-side in this fight so probably he gets the bigger paycheck.

So still a win-win situation for GGG here, take Murata's belt, unify it, then what the Japanese offers and then go home.
