3161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued Coins on: August 19, 2021, 12:19:11 PM
I want to invest in altcoins, but on undervalued coins, what do you think if I buy XLM, Will it go hight when the market is bullish now? Can XLM rise to $2 by the end of this mont?

XLM is a long time project and already over valued considering how many tokens they have have on circulating supply. Just like XRP, These tokens is not worthy worth to invest compared if you invest on startup project with good fundamentals like Solana, Serum and other Project related to FTT. There project has a lot of VC backing up so you can assured that they are really developing a good project not some mediocre project out that already existing for a long time. Invest for a strong fundamentals not on a hype project.

You can just remove or don't list the casino that didn't meet your standard since the rating score is base on your personal opinion alone and doesn't required review from other people. Quoting this for image visibility but I do suggest you to follow the suggestion above about purchasing copper membership if you are serious about promoting your casino to this forum.

I try to visit the website but my country was belong to your restricted country list. This is the first time for to encounter this exclusion on playing a casino. Maybe work on expanding your business on different country because lots of players might not get access on this.
3164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stock between a Trade. on: August 19, 2021, 04:36:40 AM
Maybe I am out of the loop, however I don't see any meme coins pumping lately. Last meme coin were all those dogecoin clones like Shiba which all have died down right now. Right now its mostly mid-cap type of coins rallying like AXS, SOL, AVAX, ATOM, etc. These are not meme coins at all.

Obviously its never a good idea to hold a meme coin for long. However look at what happened to Doge. I sold it at like 45 Sats and it ended up peaking at over 1200 Sats. So obviously it would of been better to hold that meme coin because I would of made 20x more profit. So sometimes there is an advantage to holding something very volatile, it might crash upwards and make your multiples of $ rather than selling for small profit.

Dogecoin is an exception. It was hype by a billionaire and take note that it was personally promoted and hold by Elon. Its 1 in a million chance to happen on a coin that has no good use case compare to what you mention such as SOL, AXS, Atom, etc. Meme coin hype is already over and maybe Dogecoin will be the only one remain standing since Elon still supporting it in the background. Meme coin has no good use in the long run so holding this is just like holding a garbage for a long time while expecting it will turn to gold.

This the original thread for discussion of badges from John K (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0), The thread is still active but it was a general thread for rank, badges and positions so it might mix up. I don't know if this new thread is appropriate but proposal for new badge is good for people that don't have arts skills to finally have some of it on there profile.

3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the possible outcomes if you join on a Gambling sites or in Casino on: August 16, 2021, 02:53:38 PM
I think the third one shouldn't be added as the third. It should only be two, you win and you get addicted and you lose and then you get addicted, I think there's no grey area for this one because even those people that say that they can control themselves when gambling is just an addict in denial and is really good at hiding  their addiction.

This statement of yours can be easily negated by llimited gambling funds, You will not be addicted if you have small funds to spare. If you lose without any funds left, You will never feel addicted because you can't gamble anymore no matter what you do after. It's either you move and get a job or save money and gamble some time but in addicted manner. Not gambler is addicted to it. There is a difference on addiction and hobby.

Compared to other available audit company right now, Certik is the most famous among all since I involve on many DeFi startup project.
That's all they are, the most popular ones, exactly the same as ICObench as they are the most popular ICO tracking/scoring site too. Being audited by Certik means squat, but is often used by scammy shitcoins as  pitch, to appear more legit. And exactly the same thing as ICOs were using ICOBench back in 2017, bragging about the score on their websites to attract investors.

I have a friend that is working on a project, and they paid Certik shit load of money to  find possible bugs in their code. Recently, they stumbled upon a major bug (luckily before hackers) in their smart contract that if exploited would completely rekt them, which Certik failed to identify. So yeah, you can pretty much ignore "audited by Certik" thing when you are DYOR on some altcoin.

This is very true. There is no trusted audit company in crypto market right now because most them is not regulated. They are offering a quick audit pass in exchange for payment so most shitcoin getting an approved audit from them. They are just focus on smart contract technicalities yet that doesn't mean the project was already safe to invest. This audit shit company are just giving away there approval to anyone with many that causes shit tons of rug pull.

@OP,  crytopanic and playtoearn website is new to me. Thanks for sharing. Don't rely too much on Certik because they are paid dogs as well as other audit company like techrate.
3168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want to Recommend on Great services i found on: August 16, 2021, 11:16:27 AM
What do we benefit from this vouch? vouch is always for experienced users who fear for their reputation, not an account that was created 24 hours ago and no one knows anything about it.
Personally, I see that everyone who buys identity accounts is an idiot and wastes his money, in addition to the legal problems that he may encounter, and everyone who sells such papers is a scammer.

This is if we ignore that you may be scammed and that you will not get anything.

hi
i have crypto brand this accounts that i bought very helped me i tested a lot of services and sellers i think they are the best

You should create your own service announcement here about your so called guy found on telegram rather than promoting it like you are an actual customer of the service. Setup shopify or escrow platform to your sales then put here the product you are offering. Stop the crop outta here because no will gonna believe you. This kind of shilling scheme is a scammer old method so better to stop that if you are offering a legit service.

Fight fair and setup your own sales thread here just like other seller do.
3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 16, 2021, 06:13:03 AM
Glad to see Patrick Beverly traded from the Clippers. His dangerous play to break Booker’s nose in the playoffs has become all too much what you expect from him. He shouldn’t even be in the NBA in my opinion, but I’m glad he’s going to a non-contender to be a backup as opposed to his role on the Clippers.

Yeah, This dude need a break on NBA, He is very arrogant while was just carrying by Kawhi and PG to get on the playoffs. He was a choker when many was expecting for him to cover the role of Kawhi after the injury. It's a very season for Kawhi because of his team mate with foul attitude like Rondo and Beverly. The management do a good decision to trade this cancer player for Bledsoe or else they will never gonna have a chance for Championship.
3170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cardano missing staked on moonstake on: August 16, 2021, 05:03:41 AM
anyone had coins completely vanish? today all my coins vanished on moonstake in the app, did a restore on web and the app and still nothing, transactions are normal just nothing there.....

I am afraid that this project was hacked and all money was withdrawn from the project by a thief. It is quite a common thing today that a lot of platforms are hacked and people lose their money.I also have had one unpleasant situation recently. I staked my coins on one defi project and then it was hacked, as a result 30 millions of dollars were lost, but this defi project promised a compensation. Maybe it is something similar in your case.

Do you have proof for that? They don't have any official announcement on there twitter account and there social media is still active yesterday. This incident is already on news if this is true because there's a huge money locked on there vault for staking. Moonstake has good a reputation based on there partnerships and background that I found it during my own research yesterday right after this thread was created.

@technocat74 any news?

I've also been the Head of Sportsbook Operation at kwiff.com, Head of Content/Marketing for a number of affiliate marketing brands promoting Bet365, William Hill, etc. and a Director of Sponsorship Sales at the Formula 1.

Could you elaborate on your head of content/marketing for a number of affiliate marketing brands comment? It's really confusing. Were you doing affiliate marketing and promotion of Bet365, William Hill , etc or were you marketing the affiliate program itself?

He use comma on every statement that he mention to separate the thoughts individually, "He mention that he was Head of Content/Marketing of affiliate marketing brands promoting Bet365, William Hill, etc. and a Director of Sponsorship Sales at the Formula 1." I think that's not confusing at all if you carefully his statement, Besides it's just an informal portfolio so you can't expect a more elaborate experience. I hope that the team can attached LinkedIn profile to verify if they are legit or not. The website is just showing picture and experience without a reference for it.
3172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 15, 2021, 05:25:15 PM
As the title says, does it happen with you as well? Or just it has been happening with me? Not most of the time, but every time it has been happening with me. Although I sold my holding in profits somehow after sold it start to pump more and more. It's not happening with altcoin only. It's happening also in the Bitcoin trade. I do not regret but it's somehow surprising to me. Either I don't have enough patience or I don't have enough experience.

Does it happen with you? Or just it's happening with me?

Because you probably watching chart frequently and don't use indicator and fibonacci to setup your TP price target. This is common for traders that don't use trading tools and trading base on how they feel. Maybe you are watching too much price action of pump and dump and then once you saw a medium size green candle, You immediately sold due to excitement cause by watching chart which will not happened if you setup TP price in advance and stop watching chart.
3173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Probably fair casino on: August 15, 2021, 04:42:11 PM
Aside from this, there are some other characteristics. What is then probably a fair system in your understanding?

In a gambling casino, I don't think I really know how fair the characteristics are. They are in business, so there is no system that is completely fair, they need profits, of course, they have to reduce the fairness, and they also need a lot of users to be balanced. To me, it's all based on the point of view of the gambling site running the casino.

A trusted and well-known casino will never adjust fairness because it will tarnish there reputation. They already have good profit on house edge and also to those addicted gambler that always lose due to human error. I understand that they are business entity but they have the edge on every game because of there huge bank roll against the players. In theory, You can't beat the house that larger bank roll if you play for a long time because house edge will players bank roll slowly.

*update* 2 friends have their balances but staking has vanished, looks like an issue with moonstake and the blockchain*

Good, They might be updating there website but they should inform there user on there twitter or any social media so that it will not cause any panic to there user. Please keep this thread updated on your issue once it was resolve so that other moonstake user here will see this and be informed on what's going on. This is the first time to visit moonstake honestly and binance earn locked staking has more APY offered than moonstake, Maybe you can consider that. Wink

Can you send here your wallet address so that we can view the route of your transaction? Does your stake coins was staked there before you noticed it was vanished or it vanished right after you staked it? It will be helpful if you can send screenshot of your account balance and maybe can spot what's wrong. It seems there's no maintenance on there side so there might be a bug on your account or something, Try contacting there support too contact@moonstake.io
3176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always gamble with sense on: August 15, 2021, 12:41:12 PM
I have seen a lots of gamblers recently making consistent huge loses in gambling especially unregulated gambling which result is not even determined by the gambling sites or individual efforts but by nature like sport bets like football, Tennis, Basket ball etc. One could say that a bet is being manipulated especially for games which results are regulated by gambling sites and casinos.

Sport bets results are never regulated/determined by gambling sites but I still see individual gamblers making quite a huge losses in sport gambling which I believe it's abnormal to me and there is need to have a rethink after much losses.

Could this be normal for one to be having consistent losses in sport betting when result is not even determined by betting platforms? I have been reasoning of what could be the reason of such losses or could it be as a result of less knowledge in a particular sport.

What are you implying? We are talking about gambling and it's normal for a gambler to loss multiple times since he is making a bet especially if consistently picking bet with higher odds. Many gamblers tends to bet on risky bet to have a huge gain for a short period time but luck of knowledge in sports betting will put player in to disadvantage because he is just basing his bet base on odds offer by the casino. I sometimes pick a risky bet whenever the odds is pretty good for a team or player that has a potential to turn the table around but it doesn't that I will lose consistently by doing that.
It's not normal for a gambler to be making consistent losses in bet cause the aims of gambling is to make profits and to purse that aims, one ends up in making quite a vast losses that is capable of becoming a victim of circumstances. It's okey to gamble but it's another fault when the motive of gambling is compromised. For most gamblers here, you'll feel ok when you are making losses in betting? It's normal to make losses in gambling but abnormal to be making g continuous losses.

View my comment in general overview. It's common for player to lose consistently because if all player win consistently then Casino will not gonna offer that game since its not profitable. The reason why Casino still offering sports betting is because they gaining profit for players consistent loss. Maybe the percentage of player don't lose consistently is very low compare to the loser guys. People has a natural greed characteristic, They will never stop playing unless they loss all there money or win already too big amount whichever comes first. The casino has a house edge so losing has higher chance than winning in the long run.

3178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 14, 2021, 04:36:09 PM
Not knowing the time and the amount you wager or you bet is an indication of a addiction to me since you are not aware of what that simple thing and you are too focused in gambling soon you might even know that you already lost a big amount of money and probably you will realize that you can't even live without gambling.
This were everything starts, some didn't know it yet unless their love one's already told them about it or when their property or relationship already been broke. Only few wil realize the addiction not until they will find another activities to keep them away on it. If there will be a sort of people who really takes seriously managing their time and money then starting gambling will never have this bad interpretation.
3179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 14, 2021, 12:19:30 PM
Pacquiao is one of the most known boxers because of his strength I guess base on experience and recently matches we are sure that Manny can handle this game and win but again this is sports anything can happen. There is a lot of rumours that after his last fight there's retirement for him and take serve the country of the Philippines his already a senator and I guess it's too hard to serve if you are fighting for your country too. Well if this match will happen I vote for Pacquiao.

Definitely a high risk low reward for Manny on this fight. He has nothing to prove on this fight and all his training is focus for Spence. I know that Pacquiao is good but defeating Ugas is not what Pacman looking for a final fight before his retirement. I hope that he already retire after this with a good boxing career record. His political position is already affected by his training so maybe he should focus now on one thing.
