0.4 BTC for 1v.io
I wish you registered .io domains through nic.io - registrars are just another way something can screw up.

He better not be the owner of a competing bitcoin exchange.

I need a testnet block including my transactions to test. I'm paying 0.1 BTC if you mine a testnet block containing my transactions (which were successfuly broadcasted). You just need to sign a message from your coinbase address.
First come, first serve. This is probably a few hundred times more profitable than mining on mainnet.
Feel free to move / delete, I cannot move this topic for some reason.

you have a friend that knows nothing about bitcoin?
why?
Not literally nothing..

Your thinking is flawed. If I invest 500 dollars into mining hardware, I might realize X% return over say one year. If I invest 5000 dollars into same hardware, I will be realizing the same X% return over the same period. Sure, vendors provide a certain discount for higher-priced hardware, but this is insignificant compared to other variables and unknowns, plus is easily addressed by buying shares in a large mining operation. No, you realize x - difficulty increase of your new hardware% return.

+1 on the Bitcoin Foundation being a scam, all they do is spew lies and bullshit (like when they said they were stomping out scams and such, what utter crap). As long as that exists this isn't decentralized, there has to be a better way to develop the Bitcoin-QT software.
It's called using alternate clients. Most IRC networks no longer use ircd, they use forks of it.

Also, I have daily backups of the database emailed to me and placed on amazon glacier. You don't need to panic if the site's down.
Sorry to be morbid, but what is your dead man's switch policy? One of my trusted friends has a file containing the logins, credentials, SSH keys, that are GPG encrypted with B3AAEEB0 (John K) and F1175A23 (Mike Caldwell). The friend doesn't know anything about bitcoin, but if something happens to me he should dump the file onto Bitcointalk. If either of them does not have the time to process this, they can delegate that to someone else - I am trusting them that they will not run away with the coins (and send the leftover ones to a paper wallet). He's in another continent to me, I think that's a better choice than my family.

25% wow, where would that be. Ive never heard of virtual savings, we are far down the rabbit hole now. If this is correct and other financial innovations, there is hope yet
https://www.coinlenders.com/interestDawg, I tried to warn you before about the ASICs, but you had already ordered them, so I didn't really want to get into it too much, but seriously, BE-WARE of this coinlenders nonsense. Anyone offering 25% APR is suspect. Anyone whose website was registered March-22-2013, set to expire March-22-2014 is more suspect. Any "business" that is run by "whoisguard" is suspect (imho). Put all those together and you get... super suspicious. Maybe you've done your due dilligence, I dunno, but I would really hate for this to all end as the tragic story of a guy who got scammed from A-to-Z by the bitcoin world. I run coinlenders. The domain is only for 1 year because it was one of the many names I was considering (I snapped up half a dozen domains, all 1 year). 25% APR is not suspect - it is possible to get this return. We lend at multiples of the rates we're offering.

We're back! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The system will be reworked so that this won't happen again.

I just woke up. Sorry for the downtime, I'm working on fixing it asap!

Less liquid but also less CP risk, and faster dividends. You can also store your ASICMINER shares in a brainwallet.

He does not run CoinLenders, I do.

It doesn't matter how big of a warning you do, there are always idiots who think "gee this guy says he's going to sign off soon, I don't think he's a scammer! gonna send!"
