3161  Economy / Gambling / Re: I can beat bet365, but cant find good seller. Increese your acc 50/50 profit!!! on: September 03, 2022, 10:35:26 AM
Looks like OP is living on India and based on what I've searched online gambling is prohibited on their country.

According to this article:

Quote
All cyber activities or online gambling in India are regulated under the IT Act, 2000. The act prohibits online gambling activities and prescribes a punishment for persons indulging in such activities, with a fine of Indian Rupees 100,000 or  imprisonment of up to 5 years.

Using someone's account on that country could put the account owner at risk because gambling is banned there. Using vpn is also risky and usually ban on gambling websites.

And also I don't believe on the claim of OP that he can beat bet365's system. Even if he knows some exploit, I'm pretty sure that if the website discovers it then they won't let it withdraw the funds easily.
3162  Economy / Services / Re: POKER COURSES FOR SALE on: September 03, 2022, 07:52:19 AM
I don't know how else OP can make them believe in their good faith, it's difficult, I know that marketing within the forum is something that can be very profitable but you have to know how to do it, the people in the forum are not stupid at all.

If his intention are really clear on selling those poker courses, he should post all the details about it. Based on his previous post, he will only entertain members that are interested via private message which I think seems fishy. It will even help him lessen some time catering to each PMs if he post the details. I've also been wanting to learn poker recently and his post got my attention but how he acts is not appropriate if he really is a legit seller.
3163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency acceptance Everywhere on: September 02, 2022, 02:05:11 PM
Here in our country, the 2 most popular digital payment merchant also plans to add crypto-services soon. Since crypto adoption is increasing, those 2 big companies don't want to get behind to the competition. They even plan to add some trading services where users can buy and sell different cryptocurrencies so locals won't need to use global exchanges like binance. They are making some promotions too like airdropping some crypto when you use their platform to pay on different stores that accepts their mode of payment.
3164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fed policy on Bitcoin worries investors, how do you react? on: September 02, 2022, 01:13:59 PM
My question is: can Bitcoin bounce back at its Psychological level?

Long term, yes. Bitcoin will definitely return to its level last year and even surpass it. When? That is the question no one can answer.

The economic crisis that we experience now won't last forever and the government will also suffer if they don't resolve it soon. Let's also add that cryptocurrencies went parabolic last year so it's normal for them to make a correction after that happens. Usually this season where cryptos are down or what we call bear cycle last for few years and if you will based on bitcoin's price history, it will recover again before or after its halving on 2024.
3165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Disliked Bitcoin on: September 02, 2022, 12:18:17 PM
The lesson learned was that it is better to move closer to what is new to us than to be condemning it from afar. Can you imagine that despite having enough money to invest in the cryptocurrency between 2019 -2021, I was adamant that I wouldn't because I believed Bitcoin aids legalities like trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, activities of drug barons, and many more. I forgot to think that as it has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages, no system works perfectly.

This is how the media portrays bitcoin that causes many people become afraid of it. My non-techy relatives thinks that my side-hustles are illegal because of those news about criminals using bitcoin. Some of them says it is a scam because of their bad experience on a ponzi scheme before.

I love to read your stories about Bitcoin adoption too!

I started to know about bitcoin way back 2016 during my studies. I was looking for side hustles that time and my friend introduced me to cryptocurrencies. I learned some basics of trading which helped me a lot to earn some extra money that I can add to my allowance. Up until now, bitcoin and crypto has been my extra source of income because my salary is just enough to cover my priorities.
3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play online/offline without your wife or family knowing it? on: September 02, 2022, 11:16:19 AM
You shouldn't hide your gambling habit from your wide. You cannot hide or pretend for ever. And when your immediate family is against your gambling, your chances of winning a bet would reduce. I suggest you explain things to your wife and she will understand and you both will manage the situation. I remember when I have not relocated to my present country, I had a girlfriend and she didn't want me to gamble. After explaining to her, she decided how much of my income I will gamble with and the fund is always with her. When it's finished I'll wait for another cycle.

Not everyone is understandable like your girlfriend. The stereotype to people when they hear gambling is it's something that is addicting like drugs. Like to my relatives, my cousin once caught me gambling online on my computer and my family got angry to me when she told them about it. Even if I explained to them that I gamble casually and I'm not after the profit, they still insist to stay away from it because they think it will ruin our lives. After that experience, I only gamble when I'm the only one left at our home.
3167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 02, 2022, 10:03:00 AM
This lawsuit looks similar to the Zukerberg and Winklevoss issue wherein the latter one $65 million in the settlement.

That is what I remembered also. I don't see this as a threat on Stake.com gambling platform. The issue is between the owners of Stake and its co-founder so it will likely be settled in an agreement. Based on the article on the OP, the co-founder sued the owners of Stake because he didn't got his fair share which is a very common to happen on any companies. The issue also happened many years ago and it makes me wonder why he just filed a lawsuit recently.
3168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: September 01, 2022, 12:02:53 PM
The main reason why some people are afraid in investing into bitcoin is its volatility. Your amount of money could become half of its original value if you bought during bull cycle and a bear season occurs.  If you have a weak emotion, you will sell it at a loss and never invest to it again thinking that this is a scam.

Government that are against to cryptocurrencies and the mainstream media portraying bitcoin as currency used by criminals also adds to that scare preventing people to even learn the basic fundamentals.
3169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lost 10 BTC in between Feb and May on: September 01, 2022, 10:56:58 AM

I'm curious how did you lost 10 btc. That is an enormous amount and I can't imaging to lose it all. Could you share it with us so people here will know what specific advice they can give you.

I've started in this crypto space in 2016, I've also experienced many loss on my journey but that didn't stop me to quit. Even if most of my relatives are against with me being a crypto enthusiast, it won't stop me in believing to the potential of bitcoin and blockchain technology in the future so I will continue to accumulate whatever they say.
3170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Birds are always on time - Bitcoin, king In the crypto space. on: September 01, 2022, 03:03:15 AM
Investing early in Bitcoin is good instead of waiting too long. What do you think?

What's better is buying at the right timing and not FOMO-ing during a bull season. Last year during that cycle, many people were buying bitcoin above $50k thinking that it was still cheap and because of the $100k speculation price. Now that we are in bear season and it is ranging between $20k-25k, people call it a scam.

Investing early can be very subjective. The price of bitcoin last year at $30k above can still be early if we are looking its price after 5 years or more. People that bought last year near its peak are still early if they will hodl it until the next market cycle.
3171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Commentary and commentators in sports. on: August 31, 2022, 06:18:30 AM
Can you enjoy your sports viewing experience without commentary and  commentators?

It really depends on what type of sport you are referring into.

This would be very boring if it's a contact sport like basketball, boxing, volleyball, or soccer. Commentators on those games make the match more enjoyable. They can make it more entertaining that we get hyped to it and feel like we are watching the game live.

But to other sports like billiards or chess where commentaries are very minimal, watching it is still enjoyable if you are into these sports.
3172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Take This 2 Minutes Nine Step Quiz To Access Yourself In Gambling on: August 30, 2022, 03:27:23 AM
Took the quiz and I'm surprised that I got high-risk gambler even though I just gamble once or twice a month. Though I admit that I get greedy sometimes when my adrenaline is high telling me to play more ending of losing all my capital.

I don't know if the test is really accurate that I need to consult someone about my gambling habit because of the result because for me I don't consider myself that addicted yet that I gamble way more than I can afford to lose and only do it when I have spare amount of money.
3173  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: August 29, 2022, 07:41:32 AM

If you become a parent, are you certain that your children will become successful if you don't give them proper education?

Please stop discouraging people to not go to school because it is not needed to become successful in life. The education system in your country could not be the same to others, maybe in your country schools are not giving children the proper education that they should have that is why you think like that.

For me, having a diploma and getting a proper education gives is still better because it will give us wider range of opportunities. If you combine the traits of being educated and being resourceful in life then you are still above in many aspects than those who only become successful because of sheer resourcefulness.
3174  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you felt the impact of inflation so far? on: August 29, 2022, 06:42:54 AM
Here in our country prices of commodities such as egg, chicken, pork, cooking oil, sugar, electricity, and gasoline almost doubled compared to its price 12 months ago. My salary is just enough now to cover the basic monthly expenses unlike before that I can treat myself during paydays and still able to save some. Minimum-wage workers here now are complaining about the inflation because their salary is not enough anymore to sustain them. Their salaries is almost half of their utility bill that only few amount is left for them to spend until next month.
3175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be a Bitcoin believer on: August 29, 2022, 04:19:26 AM
Believing in bitcoin is a must, but beyond the limited altcoins with good potential there are more better projects in the market. We need to be lucky to enjoy the best out of it.

Luck is not the only thing needed when investing into altcoins. If you thoroughly research about a particular altcoin's project then you will likely earn profit from it in the long run. The reason why many people lose money in altcoins is because they invest to shitcoins or hyped projects that is usually just pump and dump. They want an easy money that they invest huge amount on those shitcoins even if the project has no planned roadmap or utility.

I think everyone in this crypto space are bitcoin believer but trusting some altcoin projects is not also bad if it will bring us profit in the future.
3176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: August 29, 2022, 02:55:12 AM
You only need to invest once to obtain long-term returns. As long as your machine is up and running, it generates a certain amount of bitcoins every day, and the benefits are endless. Acquiring bitcoins this way does not require you to watch the price every day, wait for the price to rise later, and directly trade in cash. Relatively speaking, cloud mining is the lowest cost.

You should also consider that it's not profitable to everyone to mine bitcoin. Mining rigs consumes a lot of electricity and there are countries where electricity prices are very high. It's not just invest and earn when you want to mine bitcoin, you should also have the proper knowledge in maintaining those rigs so they won't break easily.

Relatively speaking, cloud mining is the lowest cost.

If this is what you mean on mining those bitcoin then you're just pitting us to lose money because most of the cloud mining platforms are scam.

Although the return of buying currency is high, the risk and return coexist, so investors also need to bear the risk of the currency price falling. And mining money is drought and flood guarantee. As an investor, we should take a long-term view of mining machine production.

Both mining and buying bitcoin have their own risk. You can also experienced drought when you're mining bitcoin like if your rigs got broken and need to spend a lot of money to fixed it or a calamity destroyed those rigs.
3177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community on: August 28, 2022, 09:40:45 AM
How is the condition of Crypto and Bitcoin in your area guys?

Play-to-earn games became a trend last year and many of the citizens here on our country got hyped to it thinking that they can be rich in short amount of time. Many people invested on games such as axie and pegaxy that they are aren't bothered taking a loan for a $1000 nft because the potential profit during those time is very high. They didn't consider the risk of investing on those crypto related projects which we know that are very volatile. Now that we are in bear season and all cryptos are down, it ruined many people's live that many of them were not able to recover their investment and there are some that got into debt. Many people now here sees bitcoin and other crypto a scam and only the early investors will benefit from them. Many here are still not properly educated that cryptocurrencies are not a get-rich-quick scheme.
3178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 28, 2022, 07:02:30 AM
My favorite type of dealers are those who are joyful in entertaining the gamblers. I went to a physical casino before and there is this one blackjack table that is always full because of his lively aura. I've played many times there not because of the game but because of that particular dealer who makes gambler entertained despite of their loses and not become frustrated about it. That dealer was raking a lot of tip from gamblers because of his lively attitude.
3179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Would You Likely Sign Up Under In Casinos on: August 28, 2022, 06:03:43 AM

This is where likely I will signup for if I'm going to play to a new gambling website using an affiliate link. The most important criteria for me when choosing a gambling website is user experience so website like these that have in-depth reviews are very helpful to me. By checking other reviews about the same website, I will know if it's really good to play there. I'm not after the bonuses when gambling, I prefer the platforms that have high trust ratings from their users.
3180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 28, 2022, 04:56:26 AM

Quote
“Members of this burglary ring allegedly targeted bars, restaurants, social clubs and other small businesses that have video poker and video gaming machines. They broke into dozens of these establishments in multiple counties and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash out of the machines.“

Having read the story do you think that this could be the extreme or a new dimension of gambling addiction?

The cause of burglary is not because of gambling so I don't think there is some addiction involved in the crime. The report didn't stated that those arrested burglars are gambling addicts before. They are an organization of thieves who just specifically target gambling machines because they know it has a lot of money inside it.

An extremely addicted gambler usually can't think straight. Their only goal is to have money to use in gambling so they won't bother joining these kind of organizations.
