3181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 25, 2021, 11:30:59 AM
If I'm thurman I will not miss this oppurtunity to claim what he has before, train what he have to and focus on this only fight. He has power and a pro attitude that's why I like him, he's just becomes unfortunate after lossing to Pacman.

After winning this fight or two will probably give him opportunity to fight again on championships on the welterweight division.
3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2021 Bitcoin market recaps on: December 22, 2021, 02:01:38 PM
Indeed, hoping that we will see another the same story/thread in the end of 2022, new ATH and new adoption from a known huge company e.g. Amazon, or maybe ebay (soon).
3183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Wallet on: December 21, 2021, 05:19:53 PM
I only suggest wallets that is known and used by many like what people mentioned above. Don't ever make a try to those new random websites, google can give you every questions you ask, just make a proper keywords though.
3184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the difference between seed phrase and private key? on: December 16, 2021, 04:46:09 AM
The private key is a very long letter/number.  But do most people write that down as well?

Nope, if you have the seed phrase there is no more need to keep a copy of your private key. Your private key, after all, is derived from your seed phrase. Having the seed phrase under your sole control means you also have the sole control of your private key. If in the event that you specifically need your private key for whatever reason, you could always extract it from your seed phrase using iancoleman's BIP39 tool.

What if you only have the private key but not the seed phrase?
Converting it to qr code is reasonable instead of hand writing it.
3185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we talk about airdrops? on: December 14, 2021, 12:29:49 PM
3. Third-party tracking (such as Facebook and Google Analytic) will know you're interested on cryptocurrency.
I guess that's why many crypto-related posts are now appearing from my dummy account in Facebook long time ago before I stopped trying them, lol. Not that it is really an issue for me due to it being a dummy account, but quite concerning considering that you mentioned in #1, from just sending only an email address.

Deleting your search history, also your likes and followed page/person to avoid getting crypto related ads. Adblockers will also help from tracking your google search activities direct to facebook cookies or their ad algo.
3186  Other / Meta / Re: My Affiliate Business Sales Page Was Deleted. Why? on: December 14, 2021, 12:15:17 PM
I would really like a valid reason for my thread deletion
Apart from the primary reason that others have mentioned [referral links], there's also a secondary one:

  • I quickly went over the archived version of the thread in question and "none of them had anything to do with BTCitcoin!"
Auto delete if its the case  Cheesy
3187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Uniswap transfer and then immediate with draw from my wallet on: December 12, 2021, 07:16:30 AM
Still wondering why the hacker still left 19k life to the wallet. If you think that those remaining tokens/funds on your wallet are still important, I suggest you to transfer it to your new setup wallet to avoid bigger problems in the future.
3188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we talk about airdrops? on: December 12, 2021, 06:02:06 AM
Just leave it alone if the airdrop tokens you got needed payment like minereum wherr you have to pay to be able to send your minereum to sell or trade whatever you lioe but the truth is you won't be able to do that. In short, it is a scam attempt where they send you a lot of tooens then you must send a fee as explained earlier.
It doesn't make sense actually if that he needs to pay more for the fees moving to the exchange more than the token he has.
I really don't think how these airdrops are worth participating with. They are almost 100% worthless and scam things. Yeah, you may receive a 1mil token, that was really huge but the price is $0, not even listed to any exchanges, that seems useless.
But in the first place, we could think also who would like to give that? Who would like to give money freely? That is why we never have to expect airdrop to gain value but just only $0.
I would ignore such tokens received out from nowhere, there are incidents that this token is meant as a smart contract scams/hacks. Once you want to send the tokens out, you will touch the smartcontract and will collect the balance of your wallet, and will be successful transfer once the address has enough balances for fee.
3189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people are using bitcoin wallets? on: December 12, 2021, 05:57:17 AM
There's no centralized list/database to get such data apparently. So your question cannot be answered, you will just hear speculations that is nowhere to become truth.
3190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Uniswap transfer and then immediate with draw from my wallet on: December 12, 2021, 05:49:31 AM
Based on the transactions, you sent ether from your coinbase to your wallet, I guess that was for fee for your swap.
But approx 3 minutes there's an outgoing transaction made, it was a swap of 80,000 LIFE to ether. Then after a minute an outgoing transaction was made again to send the remaining ether.

If these outgoing transaction and swap is not your activity, unfortunately, your funds are good as lost. Very likely that your metamask account, recovery seed, was compromised

3191  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [Help] Failed Message While Buying Bitcoin via Blaochain.com( debited) on: December 12, 2021, 04:01:03 AM
I've contacted them in many instances with this link. They'll reply to your email and you can also reply there.
Although they're not my choice anymore but with my dust funds that I have to withdraw on them, they've helped through that link and just continue to ask more if you want to through their reply.
The issue of their support is somewhat with their responsiveness, there are lots of case that they respond late with weeks or sometimes months before they replied. or before the issue got resolved.

How long have you wait to get a response from them? And how long did you wait until they fix your problem also?
3192  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitMart exchange hacked on: December 12, 2021, 12:06:37 AM
All exchanges is the target, even binance was got screwed even though they hired people with strong fundamentlas in security. As for the insurance, yes, they should have, they're business that is prone to hack and lost funds.
3193  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance decreased withdrawal limits for basic verified users. on: July 27, 2021, 05:28:17 PM
Is there a particular reason why they decided to do this? It wasn't mentioned in their notice. I can only assume it's because of the regulators but why choose 0.06 BTC?
Maybe because of btc to usd value, though it could be much sense when bitcoin rose $60k. Also, a requirement from regulators is one of the reasons as well.
3194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits key level since May...could Elon responsible on: July 25, 2021, 01:15:06 PM
He could actually be considered as a whale and how he uses his crypto does affect the whole ecosystem.
I won't say he's a whale but a huge influencer is the right term, he has huge number of followers (well, it does make sense from one of the richest person on earth) that can sway emoations or any decision to any of his follower or non-follower which trigger the market, not that huge but it still can.
3195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why many traders(including me) not getting success on: February 05, 2019, 04:37:34 AM
even though we see a lot of videos read books and know that if we do this, we will be profitable but at last we do same mistakes and lose what could be the reason
1) practice and experience
2) with fear of losing or missing profits we just f*** our trades
3) patients
4) or what other reasons could be?Huh?? please comment

Crypto trading really takes a lot of risk, specially to those persons who are lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency, and even those who already knows in trading. It's because of the high volatility of its price, specially in bitcoin, that could be so difficult to anyone to predict of its price if when it will rise or fall, which causes the losses of many traders.
3196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are the best..!! on: February 02, 2019, 08:33:21 AM
how many of u agree that the altcoins are the best .......
bcoz it is faster ...it can be used for faster transaction and even the transaction fee is also comparatively less
and even buying an altcoin is cheaper and u can buy more coins ..and earn more profits ...but the coin u choose must be good coin Cool

Yes it could be the best, and i have no doubt on it. Specifically on fast transactions and transaction fees. But not really on investing and earning profits from it. Because, most of them are turning into scam after releasing there tokens.

If you really want to earn money using crypto, you need to have some capital and enough knowledge about crypto trading before you can make earnings from it. But there are still some ways that will help you to earn money here in this forum without spending a capital, like participating into social media and signature campaigns that will pay you cryptos for every job that you will accomplish. But your current rank seems a problem, because most campaign managers here in this forum are not accepting newbies as a participants, so you have to level up first your rank to at least member rank to be able to participate into any campaign you'd like to participate.
3199  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How can we promote our 5-year-old exchange? on: September 27, 2018, 02:29:22 AM
Our exchange was founded in 2013, in the past 5 years, we did not pay much time or money in its promotion. The whole company were focusing on technology at that time. But now as you know, due to some known or unknown things, we are losing users everyday... Some loyal customers advised us to do some promotions to attract more new users. I am here to look for help, can anyone tell me how can I promote our exchange? Of course we will keep focusing on the technology at the same time.

I think, this forum (bitcointalk.org) is the perfect place to promote your exchange, because most of all members of this forum are crypto holders and investors. And if you have an enough knowledge in crypto and you have the capability on managing, you can conduct a bounty campaign for your project, but if you're not, you can hire a high reputable bounty manager that will help you to promote your project smoothly. And hiring a high reputable bounty manager can give you a high chances of success on your project.
