And for me mbappe made the right choice, every player will love to play for Real Madrid and I think he possesses what it takes to succeed over they, and to think that he didn’t even consider if Messi was in the same team as him he chose his path and that’s how it should be.
Yep. We must respect Mbappe's decision. As an individual, he must have a dream. Real Madrid is a club that always has a high target in each competition, including in UCL. And this club is an experienced team to win many prestigious trophies (titles), both in Spanish and in international competitions. It makes sense if each player wants to join Real Madrid. Anyway, he must be aware that he will be prioritized to be the key player in Real Madrid future. So, de doesn't want to miss this chance.
Whether Mbappe made the right choice, we will find out only after some time. However, despite the fact that everyone already supposedly knows Mbappe's entourage, they deny the very fact of making a decision, and therefore they will have to be content with speculation for now. I think more or less clarity will be officially introduced after the Champions League matches PSG and Real Madrid. By the way, the very presence in a club like Real Madrid does not mean the automatic conquest of all titles, let's remember how for more than ten years, or rather 12 years, the club could not win its tenth title in the European Champions Cup/Champions League.

Wait...  Is his move to Real Madrid confirmed?  A quick search says it’s all talks and hear say as of now and that some players find the wage deal kind of ridiculous.  I think it’s the football journos trying to get a better meal than quick cook ramen guys.  Lol.

And you’re right.  It def doesn’t mean cups right off the bat.  Everybody should remember the last two high profile signings of Bale and Hazard.  It could be a curse for Mbappe.

^ Let's just move on about the fighter payments because we can not do something about it Dana White is controlling it and if he wants to just give this small amount to his fighter then that is what is going to do because he owns UFC,

My Early Picks for the UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Strickland, Highlighted in gree are my picks

Jack Hermansson VS Sean Strickland

Sean Strickland has a good record than Hermansson, Strickland only lose to Santiago Ponzinibbio, Kamaru Usman, and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos but even though he lost to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos he won 5 consecutive wins but for me, Jack Hermansson has a game with his ground submission that may be caught Strickland by surprise but I think that Sean Strickland has a solid game with his striking, and Jack Hermansson is easily get pressured by those striking and he can have a great defensive takedown Stake odds 2.75 for Hermansson and 1.44 for Strickland, I am still not sure if Jack Hermansson can make a takedown because he can easily be pressured by his opponent striking so I think Sean Strickland can win this,

Hermansson is way more powerful than Strickland whichever it may be. From ground to boxing, he'll face it. Remember that its often the underdog that wins.  Grin

We cannot be quite certain if Jack Hermansson is more powerful or better than Sean Strickland, however, I agree that this might be another storyline in the UFC where someone with more experience is being underestimated again. We have witnessed this in the fights of Ngannou versus Gane, Kattar versus Chikadze and Lewis versus Daukas, Aldo versus Font, Teixeira versus Błachowicz and many others to mention hehehehe. I am for Jack Hermansson with high odds.

Yup I’ve been noticing the trend as of late too.  It’s like Mick Maynard and the guys in the UFC have been matching up these top prospects vs prospect killers...  I mean I’m a huge Chris Daukas guy and seeing him lose vs Lewis really easy made my heart sink a little.  Now I fear for my other favorite prospect, Rafael Fiziev.  He’s matched up vs Rafael Dos Santos in an event in a couple of weeks from now.  Cheesy  Sucks...

And dropping some vids.  Enjoy.  Smiley

3183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: February 01, 2022, 03:38:54 PM
Wtf are you guys saying?  Lol.  Continue to lose interest in ETH?  If anything, ETH’s staying power has been very impressive despite the high fees.  It’s still up there at second place at CMC, it’s still one of the most traded coins in the market, it still has the largest community of developers in the space and all that isn’t even done yet.  It’s all still growing.

But as a preference of which chain you should be using, if you’re a whale, sure go use L1.  Fees can get really pricey esp doing stuff like when swapping tokens.  It goes as high as 100 USD for a transaction.  If you’re not a whale, just use one of the L2’s.

The only reason why ETH is still on the top is because of its first mover advantage. Not to mention, it's the most decentralized smart contract platform in the world. If it wasn't because of this, Ethereum would've been doomed with the high fees and slow TX confirmation times. Remember, not everyone is a whale. The vast majority of ETH users are everyday people like you and me. High fees will surely prevent the average Joe from participating in "De-Fi". That's why competing chains are surging at a fast pace (even though they don't prioritize decentralized/security/reliability). We're going to have to see what happens after the launch of ETH 2.0.

Impressively, the Foundation removed any references to ETH 2.0. This might mean they're planning to delay the upgrade even further. Apparently the "Altair" upgrade phase went successful, so that's the only thing left before the mainnet goes full PoS. I wouldn't count on L2, simply because not many projects support them. This brings compatibility issues as we speak. Who knows what will be of ETH by the end of the year? Just my thoughts Grin

Then I guess being the first mover is enough to be on top.  I mean yes, the fees are high but the high fees is also a metric for high usage.  As long as they’re are high we know that interest in using the chain is def high too.  The moment the fees start going low, it should be a time when ETH maxis should start to get worried.

And L2’s is what ETH has for now to pay lower fees.  It’s better than nothing.  I’ve been doing swaps in Arbitrum at Sushi in Metamask.  It’s so easy.
3184  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for Feb on: February 01, 2022, 02:56:32 PM
For me in my personal opinion probably a start up of new bull run for this year since market is already showing green now for how many days and still stable everyday in my view as a day trader. I believe it's a sign that the market is regaining strength like what usually happens.. So let's just keep our finger crossed that it will keeps showing the same results everyday because for sure there well be a bull run again soon.

Care to put that in a vote in the poll?  Thanks.  A poll won’t really work if you don’t make a pick.  And in case you guys are wondering, I didn’t make a pick and vote.  I can’t express my own sentiment in my own poll.  Lol.  That would kinda beat the purpose as far as I’m concerned.

Keep the votes coming guys.

^  Is Julian Alvarez any good?  I’m not very optimistic about his chances at City after what we saw with Gabriel Jesus going to City straight from Brazil.  I mean there are players who made the transition to big European clubs and they got everything going right off the bat.  Players like Neymar and Ronaldinho...  The thing is they were already very good at South America.  I’m not sure with Alvarez if he’ll click well at City.  But for 18m EUR, I guess it’s worth it for a young prospect at this market.
Pep never disappoints because he only buys quality or potential talent and develops them into world-class players. He has a keen eye for good players who aren't overhyped and develops them into world-class players. I went to YouTube to see his videos after hearing the news, and I must say, I'm impressed, and €18 million is a steal.

Yeah but the EPL could be a huge jump for some of these talented players from South America.  I still haven’t forgotten when Pep and Txiki acquired Gabriel Jesus during a winter transfer to be the answer for Aguero’s waning performance.  He did do well but the next season he was just mostly a mediocre striker who wasn’t able to be the Aguero replacement that everybody had hoped.

But who knows...  He could be great for all we know.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread 2021/2022 on: February 01, 2022, 02:25:59 PM
I just noticed the thread.  It should be bumped more imo.  I think I should be more aware of what’s going on at the top of the Championship too and see see who gets promoted rather than just focusing on the EPL relegation scrap.  Cheesy  Maybe even get some side bets going.

Anyway, clubs I want to see go up are Blackburn Rovers, QPR and don’t really care for the third.  Would’ve loved to see Swansea back in the EPL but they’re near bottom.  :/

And if anybody has streams for this, pm them to me.  Thanks.
3187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: February 01, 2022, 02:18:11 PM
^  Depends which UFC event you’re talking about bud.  Smiley  But I do get it.  There are some events in the UFC that don’t deliver...  But there are events in Bellator that do suck too a lot of times.  And Bellator 273 was one of the best events Scott Coker had after a couple of so so events.

What made Bellator 273 special was the underdogs in main card winning their bouts.  Especially the Henderson win.  He fought in front of his home town, his family and friends.  He was considered washed by the books and most of the MMA community and expected him to lose vs one of Khabib’s proteges...  Nope.  So good.

Exactly! The UFC fluctuates a lot, think of it like crypto XD, it's very turbulent and the quality of an event varies drastically from one to another. It's mostly due to them actually having too many fighters on the rooster and then having to put multiple events just to accommodate those numbers. With Bellator, I see more consistency, but that consistency is on a lower level than UFCs. I am not sure if Bellator can overcome this, it seems to be bound with UFC in some odd way and I doubt it will ever have its own footing in the sport. But it's always good to have options, especially when you look at the talent in ONE and EAGLE FC (when they beef up the roster a bit).

Not really.  The UFC has been fairly consistent with their Fight Night events with some of those having a roster worthy to be a PPV event.  But the thing with the UFC is you get around two, three or four Fight Night events then a PPV card in between, the quality tends to go up then down to Fight Night quality.

I think a lot of the UFC FN events we’ve seen last year had higher quality than many Bellator events.  It’s just more exciting.  Match makers in the UFC are really good at their job.

Hey guys, just wondering what the sentiment of the regs are here in the speculation section.  This isn’t a right or wrong answer by any means, I just want to know how everybody’s feeling with the market right now and what you guys think.  Just pick an answer and drop a line.  Thanks.

Here’s a chart...  Green boxes are areas of resistance.  First around 44k - 45k and another one at 50k - 51k.

Manchester City have signed Argentine top talent Julián Álvarez. The Premier League club announced the transfer on deadline day and have signed the striker to a contract that will run until the summer of 2027. The national team player, however, will remain on loan at River Plate until the end of the Premier League season. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, City will pay €17 million, plus €1.5 million in add-ons.

What do you guys think of Newcastle’s showing at the winter transfer market?  I feel like it’s very underwhelming at best after all the talks that the club has a lot cash from the new owners.  And there were talks of Coutinho and a couple of other big names going to the club.  Lol.  I guess at least the football journos were able to eat well for a month or so.  Cheesy

Anyway Newcastle acquired Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon at 42.1m EUR, Chris Wood from Burnley at 30m EUR, Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid at 15m EUR, Matty Longstaff and Jake Turner both for undisclosed amounts.

Anybody here watch Ligue 1?  Trofo, coinlocket$...?  No idea who Guimaraes is.  He any good?
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 31, 2022, 01:53:45 PM
^  Yeah Mercedes to be the favorite to win both championships is really expected.  But Ferrari having the car to go for second, not too sure with RBR def having the chance to compete for first.  I mean if it’s either Mercedes or Red Bull that go win the whole thing it means Ferrari just goes for third at best.  But the gap between who ever’s third and Merc - RBR could be way smaller because of the new specs.  So we’ll see...  I’m hoping for an interesting and surprising season...  With a twist.  But that’s too much to ask.  Lol.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 31, 2022, 01:12:05 PM
A little surprise, Honda is now building the engines for RedBull until 2025 and not only until 2022 as planned. I think this is very good news for RedBull and they can now concentrate fully on the next season and defending the title.

https://www.motorsport-total.com/formel-1/news/neuer-motorenplan-bei-red-bull-honda-uebernimmt-noch-bis-2025-22012801

Yup just heard about this one.  Verstappen’s win of the driver’s championship could’ve encouraged them to push for another three years and prolly try to win the constructor’s championship?  It’s very possible imho.  And Honda prolly discovered something they could do in line with the 2022 specs.  Can’t wait for testing!  Grin

Nope and who would wish that on anybody?  I’m just make a point and saying did you guys notice Raikonnen’s driving last season?  His reflexes aren’t what they used to.  He’s making a lot of mistakes out there in the race, making him a danger to himself and all the other drivers.  It’s prolly age related dunno.  But if you were watching, you kinda knew he was done in F1.

And what do you mean by ‘surprise’?  It’s not gonna happen imho.  The season starts in less than a couple of months from now.
Don't agree about Kimi. He wasn't that bad last season as you describe. Offcourse, he was not as good as in his prime, but that's normal thing. He outscored Giovinazzi by quite big margin and haven't finished just in few races. Mazepin, Latifi or Tsunoda is more dangerous for other drivers than Kimi.
Offcourse, we're not talking about Kimi racing in Mercedes. It sounds more like a joke.

I never said he had a bad season or that he sucks as a driver now, just saying that he’s getting old and he’s losing those reflexes.  There were multiple instances during the season when it showed.  I mean I can’t remember exactly when and where but I do know that there were more than a couple of times when me and my friends were going ‘whooaaa almost’ because he touched the car next to him or he was a tad slow to make an adjustment almost hitting another car, etc..  But yeah.

As much as I love to continue to chit chat and talk about fighter pay, we have a new event this coming weekend.  Let’s try to  win a little something for ourselves first before worrying about what they’re getting.  Grin  But yeah, I do get it.  It’s becoming a serious issue.

Anyway who you guys got?  At first glance of the match ups, it’s very chalky and looks like it will be a parlayable card.  The faves should win.  There could be pie sh*tters tho...  Like Hawes, can’t really trust his chin and gas tank vs Alvey.  And the matches I’m looking most forward to are Shavkat Rakhmanov vs Carlston Harris and Punahele Soriano vs Nick Maximov.  Should be good.

^  Lost one parlay but won the other one and the bet on Bader.  All the fighters that won in the main card were underdogs.  Lol.  The books were way off in the main event, the co main and with Homasi vs Willis.  And it really looked like the read about Bader’s wrestling being the thing that gives him the advantage was spot on.  Gotta thank somebody for that one.  Grin  Bader got a little tired at the end of the fifth tho.

Overall it was good.  Lots of finishes and some good underdog wins.  I hope Bellator match makers keep doing it.

^  Oh if he gets a boxing deal with Fury?  Def he’ll be paid a lot of money that he’ll start his own whisky company and make even more money then start losing all his next MMA matches and might even break his leg.  Lolol.  Grin

Seriously, yeah...  Ngannou prolly is thinking of getting as much money now while he’s still at the top.  But the problem is I think the UFC can’t give him a better deal than what he wants.  I agree that they should pay him more but what if he’s asking a lot more than what the UFC is willing to give?

I think what Dana should do is pair Ngannou up with Jones and hope for the best.  Maybe give Jones a picogram.  Cheesy

Lmao!  I know the feeling bud.  It happened to me once at a poker site that had a sports betting site on the side.  KYC went fine after a week but the problem was I gambled a lot in sports and had almost nothing to withdraw by the time I got approved for withdrawals more than a certain amount.  Cheesy

Getting Scammed from anywhere is sad. Everyone knows how it feels at least who gets scammed. Not only on Casino but from everywhere. If you want to discover, You may check the Scam accusation sub forum. Anyways, I am not supporting this dude who just created a Brand new account Writing here horribly to get attention from everyone. Do you think he doing it right? Well, I don't think so. As I already asked him to provide more information about his accusation. No one will trust him without any evidence based on what he said. To be honest, I never gotten scammed from any casino yet. But, I get scammed by several PTC and other platforms. I don't think Stake has the intention to Scam 2 BTC while they are Top of the Casino Industry.

^  Huh?  I didn’t say I was scammed.  I was saying it’s actually my fault for losing my winnings from poker in sports.  So I know the feeling of the guy who says ‘he’s being scammed’.  And I don’t think the site intended for KYC to take long.  It’s just the way it is.

Just like me, it’s his own fault for losing his winnings.  The site didn’t make those losing bets for him.  Lol.
3198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 29, 2022, 02:23:41 PM
Tottenham is currently unlucky in the transfer market. After Adama Traoré decided in favor of FC Barcelona instead of Tottenham yesterday, the next preferred candidate Luis Diaz from Woverhampton Wanderers will probably not go to London either, but to Liverpool FC. A delegation from Liverpool is on its way to South America as the player is currently with the Colombian national team.
https://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2022/01/writing-luis-diaz-serves-liverpool-reminder/

It’s really not a surprise that Adama Traore decided for Barca over Tottenham.  Traore is a La Masia graduate, so his heart is prolly always for Barcelona.  If they had a betting market for all player transfers, these things would be fun to put small bets in.  It’s like speculating in unknown altcoins with under 50m USD in market cap.  Cheesy

And yeah, you can’t blame Luis Diaz.  Tottenham is in shambles and they don’t exactly have the prestige to make players head turn once they come calling...  Unlike Man United, the club may be in shambles but due to their prestige, they could still convince elite players to join them.

Here are the weigh in results for Bellator’s event that starts in around 10 hours or so.  From a betting perspective, I’m not really sure what I’m looking at.  Lol.  I haven’t made my bets yet as Stake seems to have some connectivity issues but I would go for Bader in the main event as a live underdog at 2.78.  Parlay Mamedov - Willis at 1.73 and Rosta - Gonzales - Mikhailov at 1.79.  Lines are from FJ but Stake sometimes gives slightly better lines, but not by much.

The event should be good.  Enjoy!  Wink
