3181  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 07, 2017, 05:49:57 AM
virtual currency will never be able to replace the dollar because its virtual vs physical notes.

But of course, this is all base on conceptual view. People might think that bitcoin holds a strong value compare to fiat currency
3182  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: February 07, 2017, 05:37:30 AM
Well not sure but my 2 cents

Trading : Require really good analyzing skills and if you made profit, it's all because you made good analytics towards something.

Investing : investing in something is also require analyzing skill but how much profit it can be made is depends on whether the projects development is ongoing or just a scam scheme.

3183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expanse (EXP) Bond System Releasing Tomorrow on: February 05, 2017, 04:47:45 PM
Great news! As i don't really take much notice on this coins even the Announcement thread is bumped i don't read.

Thanks for posting it here, will buy some of it, hoping to make some profit

The EBS seems like a bank interest feature, with 1% return per month locked in for 6 month.

Perhaps the return is quite low but it may help the project in long term
3184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst Altcoin Scams? on: February 05, 2017, 04:42:47 PM
What has been the most brazen and outrageous altcoin scam/fraud that you have personally witnessed in your altcoin career?

What has happened? Have the scammers been debunked and/or caught?

Unfortunately I've witnessed many but I am not sure yet as to which one I should consider the worst...

Coins i invested

LetItRide = Personally, in my cryptolife, i lost almost 90% of my assets in this. $900 due to LIR scam.

It was my 2nd or 3rd crypto project which i trust? I didn't invest during the ico as i suspect this coin is dodgy.
I start to trade it when it promotes by free spin, the top players will receive Portion of LIR by just testing the platform.
This is when i start to buy $300, $100, $100, and when the price drop almost 50%. i Thought it is just some dump, and i spent 0.5 btc on it.
The next week, dev gone, everything is gone.

and
Opair = $200 on it, the thread design , the idea is genuine, everything is just too good.

What i can say is : I am mainly too blind to look at graphics and doesn't have a clear mind when invest.

Coins which i didn't invest
Ebitz
Decloud = This scam was huge tho. I was wanted to invest in the ico at first but end up not investing it
3185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mirrax's HIGH RISK altcoin investment guide for 2017 on: February 05, 2017, 04:33:45 PM
I read about your guide on 2016, and now this 2017 version.

Just one question, in your opinion, is feathercoin is a good coin? I mean base on development, devs, progression is it a good coin? Or just mainly a pump and dump trading coins

Thanks
3186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is banned on: February 05, 2017, 02:04:49 PM
How can bitcoin become global when not so few countries, including Russia and China, ban it?

Well, it doesn't need to be global as even the big country bans it, there's still tons of country accepting it. If you compare paypal to btc, now people are prefer to use btc as we can see on most currency exchange category in the forum

People are willing to pay for btc from paypal with rate of extra 5-10% at preev

Meaning people prefer to use BTC than Paypal

3188  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 05, 2017, 01:10:31 PM
Well it depends on how you wanted your life to be.

Look at this scenario

A and B work and earn $100 per month.

In 6 months time

  • A wanted to go for travel.
  • B just wanted to work more to increase his savings.

In this case, A has an objectives which will require a sum of money in order to perform a task. While B have nothing to pay as he just wanted to save more money in his bank account.

Therefore

A would have a better option of investing his money compare to saving his money. Why? Because the objectives he wanted to achieve requires sum of money, by saving $100 a month in half of year, that would only generates him $600. Imagine if he do daily trading on forex, bitcoin. By achieving perhaps just 5% per week by compounding.

in a month time, with $100, he would end up with $121.
After 6 months, lets only take the initial $100 of each and every month.

$100*(1.05*4) = $121/month x 6 = $726.

Compare to B, he would have 21% more $$ by investing.

TL;DR : Its all depends on what you are looking for and what you want, if you just wanted to be safe, saving is byfar the best choice for you Smiley
3189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TOKES Platform Signature and Other Bounties thread on: February 05, 2017, 06:06:45 AM
This coin distribution looks not professional and too many scammers tey claim another user bounty
You cannot prevent scammers from doing it, the last word will be from the TOKES team. I am pretty sure they are doing great effort to verify the participants carefully and ensure that those bounties are only given to the legitimate members.

There's nothing to worry, they are professional.

Exactly, tons of people trying to find the loophole to profit themselves without efforts. As you can see they gave and revise the spreadsheet so ensure everyone get what they are suppose to get base on their effort Smiley

3192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: February 03, 2017, 05:08:26 PM
The price in Fiat is raising due to the price of btc is increasing. It is more than $1,000+ per btc now. With 40k satoshi each icn, it worth more than few days ago where 40k satoshi is just $0.4 and now its $0.44 Hope it will raise more. And also if icn price get to raise to perhaps like 100k or 200k satoshi, it would be really great!
3193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TOKES Platform Signature and Other Bounties thread on: February 03, 2017, 03:34:00 AM

3194  Economy / Economics / Re: Macro environment in E-business? Does Pestel framework works on it? on: February 02, 2017, 01:00:44 PM
Your lecturer is stupid.Having a stupid teacher is a pain in the ... Grin
The pestel does apply for e-business,but i don`t think that she understands the term "political" the way you do.
The goverment can have a huge impact over the e-business with legislation, taxation and regulations.

lel i am feeling pain but yeah, maybe due to the time when she learn has different type of Pestel i suppose.
Yeap, i don't think she generally understand what i am trying to bring out but its okay xd
Yeah, i read on other sites about Pestel and Macro environment and taxation, regulations does affect business but she doesn't buy my way of presenting oh well.

Thanks for comment tho Smiley
3195  Economy / Economics / Macro environment in E-business? Does Pestel framework works on it? on: February 02, 2017, 09:10:04 AM
Hello everyone, if you have came across this topic, meaning that you are people who have knowledge in the business/economics studies.

I need some clarification and help.

I am a business information system student, and this module is : E-business

We are required to present something of E-business, i picked up the Macro Environment in E-business.

Therefore, i present it by using the Pestel Framework.

On each and every part, i gave an example. And the company i am using is : x Inc

Political = If government raised the Import/Export Tax from 5% - 10%, it will causes x Inc to loss some customer due to the taxes.
Economical = If our economic currency exchange rate has improve, meaning people can spend less money to purchase product from x Inc.
Socialogical = Trends, Human background. Usually people who have lower than average income wouldn't buy product from x Inc.
Technological = If Y company launch a solar charging mobile phones, it will took over the market trends and replace X product.
Environmental = If x mobile phone is made from coal, when coal is mined finish, it will cause the supply to go down.
Legal = If x phones is implement and built in with a drug marketplace application, while the country doesn't allow drugs to be taken, it will be hard for the x products to enter the market in that country.

After presenting, my lecturer shake her head. She said : Did i teach you such things? I've never link anything to politics, what i teach was
Political Landscape, I have never taught you about politics.

I said : but the Pestel framework which the macro environment used taught us that, i read the framework.
She said : Now we are learning E-business, Everything is online.
I said : Pestel framework do apply the same logic and concept.
She said : I never taught you that political issue will affect it, since when do politic issues will be relate and harming e-business?
I said : But the Pestel Framework of  Macro environment do apply to all types of business ranging from traditional to pure-play (Fully online).
She said : Wrong, everything you did is wrong.

My question : Does Pestel Framework apply on E-business? And Is the P = Political or Political Landscape?

Thanks!

Congrats everyone for a successful #Janus project milestone. #ARDR $JNS

- The Janusproject Team

0.02 / 1.5 which is almost 1.5% dividend in such a short time frame is really great, as the platform is still developing.

Btw is this dividend paying in monthly right?

1.5% x 12 if the profit is consistent we would get like 18% per annum, it is really good if janus get more succesful!!
3197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PRE-ANN: CENTZ CROWDSALE - Trillion dollar giftcard industry on the blockchain on: February 01, 2017, 02:58:21 PM
To be honest, if this project could raise the funds and launch according to their timeline plan, it could be a huge altcoin in the giftcard industry.

As We doesn't have a Giftcard related industry in Cryptocurrency yet.

They tell you they doesn't have that X item available, so you sell the item you get from it and roll and you get noob skins.

But i don't think bitsler is that bad as maybe there is some conflict or misunderstanding so they prevent you from withdrawing?
