OP: Do the internet a favor and uploading it to IMGUR's "user submitted" section for upvotes, as well as reddit. This is a slap in the face to anyone already serving in uniform.
as much as I find the situation funny, I actually have a deep seeded hatred for reddit and wish to have no affiliation with Imgur's community. It is a useful site for image sharing, but thats about as far as I wish to take it. The point is, that is probably the coolest piece of mail I have ever received. I had a friend who joined the army a year ago, and I'm kind of wondering if he just joined for the movie ticket. |

Fail, I can't find the part that gives info on the free ticket (aside from the envelope).
Take a better picture of the letter where it states that and you'll have yourself an insanely popular reddit/imgur post on your hands.

I am fully aware that the National Guard is not entirely the same as the Army, but the similarities between them during wartime (every 5 years in the U.S) are pretty close. As a lot of you are the sort of people that would find this hilarious in the best sense, I just received a letter in the mail stating that if I join the U.S army, I can receive a free movie ticket.
I just wonder what movie it is.

Dank, for the love of you, please write a book. If you want to pay back anyone that you owe $ too, I'm sure nearly everyone on the forums would buy a book by you about whatever it is you do. I would want the first copy though.

Nick, I have issued the scam alert for this thread, this can very easily be removed, assuming you at least begin some progress towards rectifying the situation. You have said you will have a page to help fix the situation, as soon as that is up, send that to me. This is not a scammer tag, or anything of the sorts. It is just warning people that there is an unresolved issue surrounding the pool, and it will remain until steps are made towards ending the situation.

Salty, Thanks for taking action with this, can you please also sticky this thread temporarily so he and others are more apt to see it, There are still some large mining farms on the pool, and I can't imagine it can be too much longer before they notice their funds aren't moving off the site. Also, is there a way to move the other thread that is more directly related to this issue to the Scam thread? There isn't a need to sticky it. Those that are already involved know of what is going on, and the alert is just to warn people who just so happen to be skimming through the threads looking for a new pool. The Original Poster of the other thread you are referring to can move the thread where ever they so desire. |

I would also be on board with a new type of coin, I couldn't help much software dev wise, but I am rather good at coming up with feature ideas (just not so much implementing them)
I've actually downloaded just about every coin client that wouldn't give me a virus, so I would have personal knowledge when it comes to various coin topics on the alt currency board. I have a definite opinion of what people seem to like, and not so much seem to like. So if you have any questions for me, I'd be happy to answer.
