I came up with a marketing tagline for you:

"Insanity Dice - you don't have to be mad to bet here, but it helps".

You're welcome.

3182  Economy / Goods / Re: [SELLING] 1g Silver Round "The Genesis Block" by BitcoinNerd on: July 19, 2013, 07:03:57 PM
This thread was started on my birthday...not bad!

The significance of the BTC address printed on the back of these coins is that it is guaranteed to be the first bitcoin address ever created, and as such, that BTC address claims the firstbits of "1", the rarest firstbits that can be acquired:

http://blockchain.info/fb/1

It also shows that satoshi did not plan entirely to make a quick buck off of Bitcoin, as he did not code the genesis block address to let him access the 50 coins mined.

Finally, the address has been used as a hub for appreciative bitcoiners to send donations to the address, despite it not being controllable. Smiley

Yes, I know the competition has ended, but I thought I'd put a little more detail up. Tongue

Holy shit! We've just discovered something big!

It's my penis isn't it? I knew I should have hidden it better.

Then again, it's pretty difficult to hide what with the size and all.

I've also cross-posted the review to your Litecointalk thread, I'm not a full member on there though  Smiley (I'm working on it, heh)

Thanks for the 1 BTC!
3193  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Ann] Subcoin.com - place to sell Bitcoins on: July 18, 2013, 04:09:47 PM
I decided to test the "Bitcoin" and "Litecoin" options.

First impressions

The site looks basic, but is not as horribly coded as some BTC sites. It could use a bit of tweaking to make prettier, though.

I like the Volatility percentage, quite nice to see it there, as well as the price changes. I typed 10 into the "Sell Bitcoins" field, and was instantly given a quote:

Code:
Your BTC sales quote

Effective Conversion Rate: 87.999
BTC Amount: 10.00000000
USD Amount: $879.99

Please login to your account to place your order.

Very nice! Wink

Making an account

I went to https://www.subcoin.com/join.php and made an account. Sure enough, the signup worked fine, although the PIN could be improved. Maybe allow the PIN to contain letters and numbers? (Limit the characters, ofc, and force numbers or letters+numbers, we don't want people to use their passwords or "woof")

Sellin' dat BTC/LTC

Like I said above, I was given a quote. However, when I typed in 10 LTC on the LTC field and asked for a quote, DESPITE new accounts having a max transaction size of 100 LTC, this error popped up:

That's not too good! Tongue Might want to fix that.

The same thing happened on a 1 BTC quote. And a .9 BTC quote.

Eventually, I went to the proper page rather than the glitchy home page (fix that, please!), and I got put through!

I clicked to place my order, and was given a deposit address:

I stopped there, 'cuz I don't have any LTC on me at the moment, and I can't withdraw anyway (<18!).

Final rating: 7/10

Just needs a little bit of touching up, subcoin, and you'll have a nice site.

Also, misspelling: It's profile!  Wink

3194  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honey Caramels on: July 18, 2013, 03:55:11 PM
The package arrived in the UK today - right on my birthday! Tongue Seems like it was opened by customs on 17/7, though. Hopefully they didn't nick the caramels Tongue

Time to try 'em. The pack contains the box of 1/4 lb of caramels, as well as some bonus orange blossom caramels. Yum.

3196  Economy / Services / Re: Be a mod on CoinChat. 1 BTC a month. on: July 18, 2013, 05:10:11 AM
.
3. Don't ask to be a moderator (this hurts your chances).

What you said about yourself does not matter, 'specially with no proof. It matters what you do here, and now, on CoinChat.

Damn, I should write that down.
3197  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Insanity Leaks] >Never Before Seen Gambling Technique< [Guaranteed Money] on: July 17, 2013, 08:45:10 PM
Let's see here

Fake imitation of a non-existent "Insanity Dice" RS dicing clan. Uses the claims "Trusted Hosts" (there aren't any, you spastic) and "Bils Paid Out" (irrelevant here)

A spammer who likes you to email him at his gay buttsex email.

Yeah, he need some red...
3198  Economy / Gambling / Re: **Error found on Bitbook.biz (images included/proof)** on: July 17, 2013, 03:59:12 PM
Upon re-reading the thread, bitbook does seem quite sketchy.

Should I paint them red, or...?

I don't think anyone needs to be painted red... they just handled the situation poorly.

They gave him his deposit back and they had the right to freeze his accounts.

They just don't seem to understand that what he did was try to help them, not scam them.

Hmmm, true.

15.1BTC refunded.

Enjoy the free fix you unappreciative bastard, next time I will find someone who values my information a little bit more than making me beg to get my BTC back.

Stop being a bitch. BitBook refunded your money after you tried to scam them, and you still bitch at them? Maybe if you didn't act like such a moron, they would've refunded it earlier?
