3181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Betting on the price falling on: August 11, 2019, 12:52:26 PM
The best way to make a profit is trading, not gambling. You can go short and make a profit. You can do it on Monfex. I've been trading there for half an year and can state that it's quite a reliable and convenient platform that will suit both newbie and pro trader.
It is much more insane to bet on price fall really on a market that everyone, even newbies knows that is very volatile, and anything could happen to the price of the cryptocurrency at any time, if even gamblers can bet on ant and animals, is there anything that they cannot gamble on and with?Well, I would not be against that fully because we know that anything betting is all about gambling and those who would be participating in that would strictly be a gambler and will surely enjoy doing so.

Trading is really the king of making money in this cryptocurrency and if one can get the right strategy to trading, no one will be looking at all these silly gambling games provided they trade on the best trading sites like Binance and the trading site that you mentioned also.
3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: British Authorities (HMRC )Seek Data from Crypto Exchanges on: August 09, 2019, 06:52:15 PM
I am not sure that they will have any prove to convince them, they just have to accept their fate and then pay tax for personal deals too. This is going to be the major disadvantage of decentralized exchange that we see here, Now we can see why many people are having issue with KYC  for those who has been asking why people has been against kyc because I already knew that a time will come that tax man will use the data of those who are on some of these centralized exchanges to trace their transactions and use it to bill them.

The people that would suffer this most are people that KYC are compulsory for, like those who are going above a particular amount limit on the exchanges. Not that I am totally against tax, but for those who would not like their transaction to be tax, I think it is high time they embrace decentralized exchanges that would be difficult for the tax man to approach the owner.
3183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Save Investors? on: August 09, 2019, 05:40:47 PM
Well, it could be pending the time the recession is over, but during the recession, I am not so sure that bitcoin could be a safe haven to them because most of them is holding bitcoin for dollar purpose and not for bitcoin purpose, unless we bitcoin become global currency where we have businesses accepting more of bitcoin, that is the only time it can become a safe haven to them, otherwise, they can only use the bitcoin to protect their fiat pending when the recession is over.

I am unsure if we will see any recession, I think this recession of a thing is just being over exaggerated because most countries especially United State is aware of recession and I am sure that they are doing everything possible right now to avoid the recession from taken effect on their economy.
3184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anthony Pompliano holds 50% of Net Worth In Bitcoin on: August 08, 2019, 05:04:27 PM
On Aug 6th, Founder of the capital management firm Morgan Creek Antony Pompliano during an interview O’Leary asked Pomp how much he had invested in Bitcoin, Pomp responded that 50% of his net worth is in Bitcoin.

Will you believe in investing 50% on bitcoin?
Rather than him speaking in parable, he would have just gone directly to telling the world exactly how many bitcoin he holds, then let the public just be the ones to do the arithmetic for him. If he is just saying his net worth, how are we supposed to know his net worth, because what they record in the internet sometimes is not the truth about them.

If based on the way we imagine him to be rich and he said he has 50 percent net worth of him in bitcoin, then he should be seen as one of the whales that are manipulating the market, because he is not much of an institutional investor, so why would he own such amount of money in bitcoin other than for him to use it to manipulate the market and I am also sure that majority of his coins is gotten through manipulation.
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 08, 2019, 03:26:25 AM
My record has finally been broken today!

I have made 9 consecutive wins in my rolls today! I am already amazed even though I have very low bets.
I guess most gamblers here do not keep track of their count of positive streak as people are bothering only the losing event. On autobet, on the event of winning bet we go nothing changed but only on losing bet, we may go for alerting basebet to immediate-recover the loss. So, gamblers simply pass all the winning streaks without counting nor remembering them.

I am curious about your records. How many consecutive wins have you made in a dice game?
I remember some something lengthier than my losing streaks. I am not sure but I guess it was around some 20+ consecutive bets I had without red.

By the way, more often than not I bet on a 50% winning chance.
Of course, these odds are the actual deciding factor for the length of your winning/losing streaks.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 08, 2019, 01:31:57 AM
It is definitely greed. People these days would love to do anything to earn lots of money even if they risk almost everything they have. They want to earn fast and easy.

It is true that you invest a little betting in lottery but also there's a little possibility to win. So it's not being wise at all. As long as they don't win or never satisfied with their lottery winnings, they will never stop trying. Just imagine the money they lost from it.

That's why people should not always choose lottery to invest their money in but also try to do other useful ways for them to earn money.
I don’t think you are completely right on this bro. Lottery even gives better opportunity to have other investments because in most cases the money for lottery is usually very small compared to other types of gambling’s that takes more money. Its true that the chances of winning in lottery can be slim but when lucky to win, its as well always huge so I consider it worthy to play and I believe this is the reason so many players choose lottery as well.

I can vividly recall an old friend that won about $200,000 simply by playing with less than $20 it was huge, we were only returning from school when he saw where the lottery ticket was been sold, and the most painful side of the story was that my friend had no money on him, so he convinced me to try but because I was too scared, I then borrowed him the money to play, lol and behold, he won on that fateful that  and immediately, he had a change of status.
3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi aka Craig Wright seems goes straight to jail :D on: August 06, 2019, 06:54:50 PM
HAHAHAHA, serves him right. Such illusions! Craig "the loser" Wright.
I think he is just a fool that is looking for unnecessary publicity, and wants to go jail without committing murder crime because if he was in his right sense, he would not be using such national issue for publicity, now he has gotten disgrace instead of publicity. Right from onset, I never believed him though, who would even believe him anyway, I don’t know why he did what he did, but I feel he has mental disorder, and where I felt they need to take him to be not court but a psychiatric hospital where he would be looked at properly.

I just wish that we can have the regulation that we requested for in cryptocurrency, I believe that all these shit would really stop then, and the way at which these people really use the cryptocurrency market to scam and do all forms of crimes will stop.
3188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future HODL? on: August 06, 2019, 06:10:16 PM
Holding tight your Btc now could bring you much more within the next years.

Some sceptical people call Btc a scam, which is totally wrong. Something worth over 10k but worthless is always a strange concept lol.

I guess we will see many large players moving in to BTC and how this effects adoption and pricing in the mid term. All i will say though is BTC IS 10 years old now and calling it a scam is nothing new, yet here we are and still going.
I don’t think we still have anyone that would still think that BTC is a scam, anyone that still thinks Bitcoin is a scam, just lacks the full understanding of it and may need to really be sat down and explain the whole concept of it all over again, although when we have newbies, they might first think towards this direction first, but with time, they will come to realize that bitcoin system is one that has even come to liberate a lot of people from the burden of slow payment, high fee as a result of third party involvement and very other features of bitcoin.

The only people that can ever claim they have issue with bitcoin are those who has been a victim of hackers, or who has made wrong choice of investment, and that should only be the fault of the investor or coin holder.
3189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: August 06, 2019, 05:29:52 PM
After researching the news sources, I decided to pledge my land and houses worth $ 40000. I use it to buy 4 Bitcoin
I will rent a small apartment with my family
I'm happy now
I believe that the BTC will increase to $ 20k next year.
Each and every one of us believes that the future is very bright for bitcoin, and we know we will all have a very huge gain from bitcoin when the right time comes, but placing your house and land on pledge, I am not so sure the risk is good. I know most successful business men and women do take risk, but we also have to be very wise in taking risk.

The cryptocurrency market is quite unpredictable and unstable for now, and because of this, every risk that we take in it has to be a minimized one. If I were you, what I would have just don’t is to use one of these asset to raise money. I could use land alone, to out the money in bitcoin, or I use house, in case something unimaginable happens along the line, at least one of them would have appreciated further to fill in the space.
3190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: August 06, 2019, 02:22:05 PM
Having an addiction is very bad. If you're doing anything you should always avoid being addicted to it, cause such is going to ruin your life. Even without gambling, being addicted to just video games is bad, not to talk of adding gambling to that and then it becomes worst? gambling and Video game addiction joined together.

The worst of it all is that I don't even know how to tell these people that it is bad, because I do know some of them in real life and they never accept that what they are doing is wrong.

Video games are recommend by many people for getting rid off gambling addictions as it costs nothing. But, getting addicted to video games again makes the process of fighting against addictions more complex.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 06, 2019, 12:20:01 PM
Could you please share how did you get $60k ? I mean it is time for doing that again to earn $600k; Yes, the 10 times of your lost money. Never give up or get frustrated. Just think about what you need to do and never turn back to gambling as it will never help you to earn nor to recover.

Just forget about gambling and your $60k. But, just try to repeat the process of how you made $60. Because, that would be the easiest way to recover your losses and to multiply your savings. You should have waited for the bitcoin prices to recover and I like to suggest you to keep investing in bitcoins as bitcoin price may hit one million levels by 2020 or 2021. Keep earning and keep saving in bitcoins. You can easily recover your losses.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Should Know Before Playing A Crypto Betting Game on: August 06, 2019, 08:20:33 AM
I am very sure most of the players that get scammed understand all this, they know deep down that the site could be illegal but the desire to make money covers their sense of thinking. The reason I know this is my gambling friend shared his experience with me on how he got scammed and in his words, the site was suspicious but the offers were too good to be true so he decided to take the risk  and that was how he lost so much money.

If confused if one is confused on the site to pick, there are a lot of them on this forum and also reviews are available to clear the air on the reputation status. Scammed players are always the greedy, unintelligent and lazy players.
I can see clearly from your comment that you have never been scammed. You are only using your friends experience to interpret every other incidence that relates to scam and this is very wrong. A number of us that have been scammed where never greedy or lazy, sometimes we just fall into this trap and then get to accept our fate while we keep on learning on how to identify illegitimate gambling site.

My first scam site sis still very fresh in my memory, this site had existed for like a year prior to when I bet on it and I played with over $2000 dollars, I wasn’t greedy, the money wasn’t so much but it meant a lot as well, the game went on smoothly and then I won, just as at the point I was to withdraw my cash the site crashed, so how have I been greedy in this case? I leave the question for you to answer mate.
3193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I lost 200,000 EURO on Bitcasino.io on: August 06, 2019, 06:46:58 AM
OMG, I'm finding it difficult to believe that anyone could just throw that sum of money into gambling, just like that and keep on putting more even when they are losing  Huh. Well, maybe because I don't have that much.

But, even if I had that much there are other thing that I can do with that amount of money than letting it all go in gambling. You should know that in every casino the house always have more chances of winning than the players, so the luck only comes to a few people
3194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I don’t share Strategies anymore? on: August 06, 2019, 03:43:39 AM
For sure, strategy are not working, they don't make any change… it's still the same thing that you're going to face.. Using a different strategy from what you were making use of before doesn't mean you're going to start winning, it's still the same. I have seen a lot of people that claims to have strategies that works 100% but anyone that claims such is just thief that's looking for a way to deceive people and take their money from them and giving them fake strategies. The thing is that people should learn to control their feelings and know when to stop playing. You don't keep playing when all you're getting is loss.
3195  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔴🔴🔴Casino✅WinRate.eu✅Licensed cryptocasino🔴🔴🔴 on: August 06, 2019, 03:10:52 AM
This casino seems good but seems like on mobile the games are only optimized for Google Chrome cause I was trying to play one of the games - Super Cats - on the site and it was kind of misbehaving and reloading all the time ,with a pop-up that says it is optimized for Google chrome, I was using a Mozilla Firefox browser. And another thing I'd like to add is that you guys should add information on how the games works ,like what it's all about, so that those of us that does not understand how the games works can understand. Well, I hardly play these things.
3196  Economy / Gambling / Re: BestBitcoinSlots.com | Free Games, Casino Reviews, & Slot Community News on: August 05, 2019, 06:13:37 PM
Slots are quite annoying.. Yes, I used to see slots as the easiest games to play but the truth is that it is not. I tried and even used the Martingale strategy after losing the first time and it never worked. Got really pissed and till then I have decided not to play it anymore, can't be wasting my money on things that ain't paying, though I do know that all those sites need money, but I need money as well.

I'd rather work and get paid than that continue with these slots ,,even if I do want to gamble it would be on games that depends more on skills than luck.
3197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: August 05, 2019, 03:48:13 PM
Investment in cryptocurrency is quite good, there is absolutely no doubt about it but good with savings, as in you should only out in savings from one of your business, but when it comes to having a capital, I don’t think it is a wise idea. If you out it the whole business capital of $1000, you have to wait for so long before you can start making profit through it, and you have to consider how you would live during that period.

It is this type of investment that usually leave people impatience and make them end up panic selling when they see their coin going down or when the need urgent money, but when you put the investment into that T-shirt business, at least you must always get buyer for it after production, from there is when I would advise you separate the capital and then use part of the profit for cryptocurrency investment.
3198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are many scammers doing fake sales of Libra - example on: August 05, 2019, 03:01:42 PM
I hope no one falls into this kind of fraud. Facebook must be alarm because of these circumstances and they must make things clear since a lot of people are joking around here in the cryptocurrency world. You won't have any problems with this if you are a part of this forum.
It is a good thing that the op quickly raised alarm over this, although I have never come across such a thing and I don’t know if the story is real or just assumption, but if it is real, people need to be extremely cautious of it, especially gullible people that can easily fall for things without them making research first to know of its genuiness. What usually get me angry about some of these social media that they are using their name to scam is that they keep quiet about it.

I remember that there was a time we all saw telegram campaign on this forum where everyone virtually participated in it, but at the end, they realized that it was scam, telegram never for once came out to make any statement in respect of it until many people got scammed through it.
3199  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: August 05, 2019, 02:24:58 PM
You had a point that when there is a war rich people who has lots of money will withdrew it and ofcourse they will not hold it physically meaning the chance of putting it on cryptocurrency is high but I think war between them wont lead to that scenario.
If there is any physical war, do you think any of them would even remember to go after money? And not to talk of them going online to process the money to go through cryptocurrency, every one of them would just scamper for their life first before even thinking of money.

I have seen many people during war leave their millions to rot there despite the fact that they even had other means of actually safeguarding it and taking it out of the country other than crypto, but anyway, this suggestion too is still vital, but they will have to do it far before the war really start, that is if there is going to be any war because we like to exaggerate things a lot, maybe the war is just a minor trade war or just a little disagreement that will be resolved as fast as possible.
3200  Economy / Economics / Re: On Bitcoin and old-timers on: August 05, 2019, 01:48:21 PM
people don't really need to have an indepth knowledge about Bitcoin.  All we have have to know is the basic of Bitcoin, its uses, how to create a wallet, transfer funds and securing our holdings.  Aside from that, there are lots of 3rd party application and company that enable us to use Bitcoin easily.  This way, even an old timer can easily transact (buy and sell/ convert ) Bitcoin and even use it to pay for services and goods.
I don’t think there is anything that in-depth about bitcoin, there is nothing that needs to be known about bitcoin other than those simple things that you mentioned there, the only thing that is just missing is the history of bitcoin which I think many people would definitely want to have a hint of too before accepting the system.

Blockchain technology is what is actually required to have in-depth knowledge of, and that is when anyone interested is going deep into knowing how to use it and then apply it to his own company project . Bitcoin has already been simplified by the inventor satoshi to the extent of it being understood even by a secondary school child, so anyone would understand its technology easily when being introduced to.
