3181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: November 04, 2021, 10:11:09 PM
I see the price at the $80k level at least in 2022. Now, it is on a good run and a new ATH seems like achievable even at the end of this month. There is a really good rally in the market but it will end at some point. And before the end of the year, I'm expecting to see a new bull run starting and lasting for a long time. So we can see the price at the level that I indicated at least I think. My main target is to achieve $100k but I have no idea when it will happen.
Before it reach that amount, there will be probably a major dump to happen or correction before it can totally reach a certain level again. The price can keep on rising upto this year and by next year some correction but surely it will still pump afterawhile due to the adoption of crypto which is widely happening now in different country. I hope I'll be able to buy more BTC if ever some dump happens.
We've already seen major corrections right? the last time is that when BTC hits $28k-$29k, I think that is the last big correction that we are going to see from as high as $63k, that's already -50% or more. Now look at the price now, it seems that the previous all time high will be our biggest support now. And $80k in 2022? I think we can even hit it in 2021 the most. I do agree though that we need healthy corrections, after reaching a new all time high of $66k, the price goes down to $61k and been fluctuating like that for almost 3 weeks now. But I'm not expecting a major correction again.
3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin can help Local Communities on: November 04, 2021, 09:48:57 PM
Bitcoin is empowering local communities a little bit around the world. Native American communities have been stripped from their land and are struggling hard to escape poverty. This time is Bitcoin who is helping the Navajo people. West Block a Canadian mining company requested the Navajo nation to allow them for energy for a Bitcoin mine on Navajo land back in 2017. The company is currently employing 2 workers but has grown and is looking to have its operations increased to have 11 workers which will be hired among the community. The company is not only generating wealth for the community but is also providing them jobs and financial inclusion. This is the true nature of the potential bitcoin has to give back the power to people.
I don't think it's a direct help, but entities see bitcoin as an opportunity to make money out if. Just like what you said, the mining company requested the Navajo people to used their land for bitcoin mining. 2 workers to 11 workers? I don't think it will put a big dent on their local economy, unless they are like 20 people in their neighborhood. Yes, I know that bitcoin has open a lot of doors, but this is just an exaggeration to me.

If there's something that really help Native Americans, it's gaming:

Quote
Native American gaming comprises casinos, bingo halls, and other gambling operations on Indian reservations or other tribal lands in the United States. Because these areas have tribal sovereignty, states have limited ability to forbid gambling there, as codified by the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988. As of 2011, there were 460 gambling operations run by 240 tribes,[1] with a total annual revenue of $27 billion.

3183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 04, 2021, 02:01:31 PM
One last fight for Lomachenko this year, hopefully, he will be able to end it with another win.

This fight will happen in just over a month, so I'm wondering maybe the odds are already out now, anyone here has an idea what's the betting odds of this fight? Obviously, Lomachenko will be the favorites but I like to specifically know how favorite he is based on the line.

anyway, here are some information regarding the fight.
https://champinon.info/schedule/lomachenko-vs-commey/

It's too early to expect a betting odds for this fight, maybe by December it will be available, so let's just be patient. Besides, we know who to choose and obviously, it's Lomachenko as he is healthy and ready to dominate again.

Usually the odds are listed when the fight is very near, sometimes just a day before the actual fight.

But I do agree that it wll be Loma who will be the favorite here. No offense to Commey, he is a great boxer, become a world champion, but he is no match for Loma at his point. Loma is too versatile and very highly technical boxer. And Commey will look amateurish when he faces Loma.
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 04, 2021, 12:45:49 PM

Interestingly for points Hurkacz and Norrie are through to the next round.
Norrie in particular needs to progress through as far as he can to get as many
points as he can, now with sinner out can he  get enough points?
More likely he need to win the title paris master to qualify for atp nitto final, and I little doubt he can.

Don't give much attention to this tournament but today I really want to make a bet in 3 match that I see will tight
G. Dimitrov vs A. Zverev in over
D. Koefer vs Hurkacz in over (more likely if Koefer play well like he beat FAA)
C. Norrie vs T. Fritz in over

Good call on the Hurkacz vs Koepfer it's over now, the match has been extend to a final set. Very excited game, 6-4, 5-7. I think even if the match didn't go down to a 3rd own and Koepfer won a tie break, the totals will be over, (initial line is 21.5).

But I can't tell who are going to win the match though, both are really playing very well. Gonna be a tie break in the 3rd to settle.

It was Hurkacz who won the 3rd set, 6-2. I guess Koepfer was tired in the 1st set and wasn't able to bounce back.

Norrie and Fritz now, they haven't scored the first point of the match yet, back and forth between the two. Another match that can really go in the 3rd set as well just like the Hurkacz vs Koepfer.

I wanted to see Djokovic vs Monfils, two legendary players, I think Monfils are going to push Djokovic here.
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 04, 2021, 11:48:56 AM
Big test for the Knicks tonight.  Gonna play a tough Pacers team on the Pacers home turf.  Knicks took an ugly loss at home the other night I expect them to bounce back.  Also looking forward to the golden state game as well that should be a good late night game as well.  Used to hate watching stepb play but I respect his game.  Dude is tough.
Pacers is really tough, I was also expecting the Knicks to win it but sadly, they can't get the W.
Myles Turner is the player of the game. 29 minutes with 25 points and most of it came from downtown. 7/10 at the 3 point line. Whoa! Are they training him to be one of the big guys who can shoot threes? Brook Lopez or Nikola Jokic type of basketball? Pacers will definitely be stronger if this guy can master his outside shots and it can stretch the floor for LeVert's inside attacks.
Quite impressive numbers for Myles Turner, but I'm not sure, he was a defensive player right? And now he shoots three? Maybe he was trained to be the next big guy that can shoot from outside, or it that the game was wide open and require him to shot those open shots. Yeah, I know, Pacers are really tough, that's why the Knicks are the underdogs when the betting line opens yesterday and up to the game itself.
3186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 03, 2021, 04:31:54 PM
This has been a debate for many weeks now.

But for me, there's no such thing as better investment, not in meme coins because they can simply die away in an instant. Someone mentions Squid? I think it has been dump hard as well after the people behind have make their money already.

Same is going to happen on Shiba, many wise investors are going to sell it off once they see that there's no more hype on this one, simply as that.
3187  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 03, 2021, 03:50:19 PM
It's been almost 2 weeks since Bitcoin made a new ATH from $65K to $67K. Price is currently (as or writing) around 5% down at $63.5K. But when will we see another new ATH in Bitcoin?

I voted next month, although I believed that we can achieved a new ath this month as well, but all roads to December wherein there is a big expectations of a 6 digit.

Do any of you still think this is a double top that won't be broken ? How many of you are waiting patiently for 6 figures ?

I'm sure many of us are expecting at least $100,000 next month, including myself. And there could be noobs as well who doesn't want to pass  this opportunity and maybe buying bitcoin at $60k.
3188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 03, 2021, 11:18:37 AM
But they have to find a way to make a profit on this fight as this fight will happen since it's a mandatory fight. Both fighters are just waiting for the schedule of the fight to be announced by the promoter so they will start their training. Don't make that promotional thing the main concern here, it should be the readiness of the boxer as without them, no fight will happen.

Casimero should find a way to knock out his opponent to show everyone that he reached the peak of the battle in their division and all he needs to fight is Inoue because we cannot deny that he is also getting old and he might lose some of his skills and stamina and they delayed the fight next year. I mean, what's really the problem of how they weren't able to do anything to make this fight come true? I hope they won't consider money as the priority if they really wanted to be the unified champion in their division, they should fight whoever is strong.

Yes, that's what I wanted to see in this fight, a brutal knock out win by Casimero to send the message to all bantamweights specially Inoue. So that they can't avoid him as much as they want to. For sure Arum is protecting him because he wanted to build him like Pacquiao. So he carefully places him and chooses who he should fight to avoid Casimero. But if Casimero wins in an emphatic way here, he is now sending a mesage to Top Rank to make the fight.
On the side note,

Arum may also want to bring more hypes, allowing Casimero to chase Inoue. Knowing how blatant the mouth of Casimero, he can throw more trash talks and bring more attentions to the boxing world.

Arum is very well-known to keep his cash-cows bringing him more money. With Casimero's fame, the call for the fight will hype up and surely gain a huge amount of money.

Send the message and Arum will continue to avoid it, to possible in getting more interesting offers..

On the contrary, Arum should be afraid of Casimero, and he might not be willing to set him against Inoue. I have a feeling that if ever Casimero wins in a brutal fashion, the more he will avoid Casimero because he doesn't wanted his cash cow to be damage. Just like when Shakur won against Herring, fans are being calling for a Valdez showdown. But Arum avoided that but instead Shakur and Valdez will have to fac a different fighter.

Are there any timeline for a Kawhi Leonard return though? Maybe they are just stretching this season and hopefully Paul George can carry the load until Kawhi returns to the team. They barely escape OKC last night, just a 5 point lead when the opening line for them is -10.5 if I"m not mistaken. And it's good that George is playing very well, but I have to agree that someone needs to help him out. They have to comeback from the brink of a lost against OKC.

People underrate OKC way too much.

SGA and Giddey are the real deals. I don't think that people appreciate them enough and they are definitely not the worst team in the league by any means.

I think that Clippers will have a rough season without Kawhi for sure. But at the end of the day, this will let Terance Mann, Jason Preston, Brandon Boston etc. grow into their roles when he does return.
No, I appreciate OKC, specially SGA, that kid is something special and could be the franchise player of OKC. It's that they always fell short in the 4th quarter.

Tough expectations for Mann, I remember him exploding during the playoffs. However, he seems can't duplicate that performance as well. He should by now having a break out games since Kawhi is still out. He is needed to perform and help Paul George.
3190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 03, 2021, 09:06:53 AM
Yes, FAA won against Mager, but the Bautista-Agut vs Duckworth was a disaster prediction of mine. Probably Agut just woke up in the wrong side of the bed because he was forced into a 3 set, lost the first one, barely recover on the second set, and then lost in the 3rd set tie-break.

FAA vs Koepler, possible for a 3 set extension match and could cover the Over in totals.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 02, 2021, 10:49:00 PM
Finally a good (or I'd say better) opponent for Lomachenko. His fight against Masayoshi Nakatani was quite easy. Commey is not an "easy running" for Loma.

I would not say that Loma is getting left-over from Lopez, he is just chasing him Cheesy Soon Lopez will run out of opponent and they with Loma would be again. Now that will be a real exiting to watch. To watch if Loma could regain his fame and titles, or Lopez prove his words that he could beat him anytime anywhere".
Exactly, he is really chasing Lopez here, and there will be a chance in the future, and it's going to be inevitable that they will have to face each other again for the belt. The only chance that Lopez avoids him is to jump in weight to 140 lbs.

At least we all know who is really afraid of Loma and doesn't want to give him the rematch that he all deserves. Nakatani though is a tough fight, it's that the Loma makes it easy for him to win because he is very technical.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 02, 2021, 07:49:50 AM
What a disappointing loss for Murray today on Paris,  he had 7 match points and couldn't convert a single one of them to claim the victory, I thought he can win it easily and even the odds favored him against Koepfer with @1.25, it sucks to see such a talented player in this situation, his hip surgery really affected him, playing with metal in your hip is not the same, and being that long away from tennis courts also made it harder to comeback to the same form, it really sucks Sad

Yea I watched the last two sets, I didnt know which way to bet so I didnt on this match.
Murray was broken a few times and was playing defensively for a lot of the match. There
is also some discussion regarding the speed of the courts, they are slow which seems
to result in a lot of longer rally's.

I had 2 bets on today in Paris,
Ivashka v Ramos Vinolas
Norrie v Delbonis

and tomorrow only 1 bet so far, Felix AA to beat Mager.

The race is on for points.

Murray keeps playing tournaments trying to get back somehow but he just cant.He continues to struggle in every single match it dosent matter who he is playing and his matches are really long. I also had a bet on Ivashka to win and had a bet on Norrie to win in straight sets so happy with my wins today
Good win for you both.

Yeah, and as the match goes longer, the more Murray will be put to the disadvantage because of his age and his body. So I would say that the surface of the tournament didn't go on his way here.

Besides the FAA vs Mager, I think another match that can be a giveaway is Agut vs Duckworth. I think Bautista Agut can also win this in 2 sets and cover the totals as well.
3193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap Rankings on: November 02, 2021, 06:55:21 AM
It is clear that CoinMarketCap lists crypto's in descending order based on market cap.  But could anyone tell me why after the first 200 listed (at this time #200's market cap is about 239 Million), #201 through about #215 MC's are back in the Billions?  In fact the MC of #201 through about #280 are above the MC of #200.
As others have said this could have been a bug on their system. Maybe they have their own metrics to rank up those coins, hence the big difference in numbers. This has been the complain on CMC even before in 2017-2018. So I'm not sure if CZ has change the algo when they took it over or have adapted their own. Maybe the OP can tweet about it and ask CZ itself to get the right answers, just saying.
3194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 02, 2021, 04:29:06 AM

Shawn Porter's odds are increasing. The bookies think that Shawn Porter is just an easy match for Terence Crawford but the former is also a tough boxer on their weight class. What's actually their basis and factors on that kind of odds. I'm confused.

Or maybe just a trap for the gamblers? It's confusing now to pick who will win with a good money return.

it is really tempting to place bet on Porter here especially we are seeing a lot of upsets this year. the ML odds in some casinos are even reaching up to 6.25x for Porter. so if you are closely following Porter's prep here and you are confident that he has the chance to beat Crawford, you can easily bet on him.
bookies are really favouring Crawford here, seems they are not considering the caliber of Porter as a boxer also. so more than couple of weeks and we will see another good boxing match...

Bookies are more detailed in terms of analysis. It is impossible they do not consider the caliber of Porter. It's just that upon consideration, it is very obvious Crawford has the higher possibility of winning. From the point the odds are released by the bookies, it is now the bettors' money flowing in that will determine whether the odds will continue to favor the favorite or the underdog. In this case, the money is clearly flowing into Crawford's side, that's why Porter's odds are still increasing until now.
That's where the smart money is going to flow, to Crawford side because he has a high chance to win here. Not taking anything from Porter though, yes this is a step up match for Crawford, but I think Crawford has the advantage is all department here, even Porter's aggressiveness can be negate by Crawford's timing as he has the ability to fight going backwards. So if Porter tries to go inside, Crawford will pot shot him every time.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 02, 2021, 04:04:03 AM
^That Chicago Team is really something else. It's scary if you combine underrated players in one team. Lonzo, DeMar, Zach, and Caruso. Love it.

I watch two disappointing games with the Hornets losing against the Cavaliers and the Knicks also losing against the Raptors. Too much expectation could really ruin your bets, parlay is out I might go back to singles. Well, I guess it's also fun to see unexpected events like this and confuse basketball analysts about their predictions.  Grin
I was surprised to see the score, I thought that the Celtics are going to win this game.

And then I saw that they went on and tearing Boston Celtics with that magical run, ouch, it's gonna hurt.
I do agree that Chicago is a real deal now, there's one lost is also like this, it's a winnable for them if not for DeRozan missed. But they have bounce back to show that they are no joke now. Yes, a lot of upset, well it didn't went our way, but for sure we will go back tomorrow and start a winning streak.
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: November 02, 2021, 03:40:49 AM

I would also say Amik Khan reminded me of Caraballo, they are both good technical boxers but they are not durable and the Filipino fighter has a well-deserved win although the win is a bit controversial I think let's just move on since a win is still a win, just let the organization do the job if the judgement was fair and if not then someone has to be penalized according to the rule of the boxing organization.

Better to move on and wait if there's a rematch to happen. Caraballo deserves that rematch and if his fans and more boxing fans will call for this one, we might see the rematch to happen much earlier.

Just a good chin and Sultan takes this one from Caraballo. The strong fighting determination of Sultan dominates and even there are controversial. He manages to take and win this fight.

There are upcoming fights that we will go to watchout, this sports this getting fans' attentions back.

I saw the scorecards and the judges are heavily favoring Caraballo, rounds that do not have knockdown go to Caraballo, and why there is a need for a rematch it's a unanimous decision, the win obviously go to Sultan's favor, there will be a rematch to settle the score if the fight could go either way, what do Caraballo have to prove in a rematch that he trained his chin to receive a punch, a weak chin will always remain a weak chin, give Caraballo a match against another top-caliber fighter and he will still get knockdowns or a knockout.
But the judges makes it very close though, and I think if Sultan got only 3 knockdown, he will still lost in this fight. So I'm also in favor of making this rematch, it could be very dangerous for Sultan, but if he can win by knockout, then the issue will be settled. I just admired Sultan touch chin and everyone was really talking about Caraballo's power. But he underestimate that Sultan is very durable and have a solid chin and him Caraballo can't even hold himself when Sultan hits him and he will instantly go down.
3197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC stuck on same price range? on: October 30, 2021, 09:38:00 AM
LTC accepted all over the world but it's price still low
same as last 4 years
why it's stuck on same price range?

Still living under the shadow of Bitcoin in my opinion. Plus are there any development from behind?

I check the github repo: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin. There are no update what so ever in the last year or so.

I'm not sure where you get the idea that it is universally accepted, because it is not. Maybe we can used it to deposit and play on our favorite sports casino because it's cheap and quite faster, but that's it. Probably for bagholders, wait for the right time to sell and make some decent profit.
3198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 30, 2021, 08:54:02 AM
Raducanu is in action now against Kostyuk who has taken the 1st set and
looking like taking the 2nd, its 1 - 5 there now.

Unfortunately she lost,  predictions will be tight turns out not, Raducannu has lost a lot of games.
My multibet in the ATP Vienna quarter-finals lost because I preferred over in the Ruud vs Sinner match, tight in the first set, not happen in the second set, Ruud lost too easily in the second set.
Zverev vs Sinner might be an ideal final but before they have to beat their opponents, Tiafoe is quite impressive here maybe he will surprise again.

I agree, I like Tiafoe chances against Sinner here, and the good thing is that he is the underdog so it's a very good and attractive bet. So I throw some couple of satoshi's for Tiafoe at ML as well and hopefully pull some upset.

Zverev's experience will be to much for Alcaraz to handle. I wouldn't be surprised if he beat Alcaraz in 2 sets and set a final match with Tiafoe.
3199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 30, 2021, 08:27:24 AM
congrats @danherbias07, I thought the Lakers will lose again, good thing they know how to win now, and Lebron is back and made 26 points but there's something wrong with him, he thought he is Steph Curry that's why he tried a lot of 3s which only resulted to 1 made of 10 attempts.

I lose a live bet as I put money on the Cavaliers to win, but it's still fun, better luck next time for me on fading the LA show.

Yeah, I thought that Lakers are going to lose again, specially when the way they played in the first half. After that I didn't watch, until the late minutes when Dwight Howard hits a 3, Lol, and doing the Carmelo Anthony finger. So it was their big 4 to took the scoring, Lebron, Melo Westbrook and Davis. I never bet on this match though, same with you, I will have put money on Cavs and I could have lost my bet. Anyhow, there's a lot of games still for us to recover our losses.

I have to watch that Howard made a 3 point shoot, I was not able to watch the game but I think it was his first 3 point shot in the NBA? I mean he made history for himself, lol. Anyway, the game was almost a giveaway for the Lakers, good thing they fought strong in the 4th quarter and did not allow an upset again. They cover as well as LA is -8.5.

No, it was not Howard's first 3 point shot in the NBA, even in his second stint with the Lakers with Lebron he also hit a 3 and it's with the same team if I'm not mistaken.

I also said that Blazers will have their revenge against the Clippers, so congrats as well for those who bet because they have covered the spread with a lot of room.
3200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 29, 2021, 10:08:08 PM
^ So far though the price hits $62k again, it faltered a bit to $60k, but the market has recovered in the last 2 days. But I doubt that the price will hit $70k at the end of this month, we are almost there now. But to see the price above $62k at the end of October is still very bullish and it's still along the line of previous years growth. So as far are as hitting $70k, yes it's doable, we've almost hit $67k already so that is very close to the OP's target price this Christmas.
