Quark - it should be at $1 at least considering it's features and it was the first coin which brought multiple hashing to attention. With the right promotion it will go up 100 fold.

Any idea when the finished version comes out?
The Quark wallet should be finished in the next few weeks. Some translations such as Chinese will still say Bitcoin.
Hmmm..is there anyway for this to get corrected?
The translation of Bitcoin in chinese is known (比特币). What is the translation for Quark? That is what we need to fix it. Quark= 夸克币 I Believe Quark is 夸克 The last character 币 is Money - Currency - Coin. The community has I believe has dropped the use of the Coin suffix. You may wish to consider this? In long therm LTC is bad why ?
Low speed Quark,Doge,BC and other wins
Blockchain imo this is something that in long run take to much disk space.
it will take few days to download full blockcain in few years now we don't see that problem but it will be serious.
Whole idea LTC being ASIC proof now collapse...just google "Greedseed".
LTC get popularity as ASIC prof but it failed now...
I don't call LTC scam but this coin comparing to BTC is not better...
+1 Litecoin did bring something new to the public, but the fast speed of Quark/Doge take the lead imo |

To be honest I think the alt community needs to focus on the coins that can really bring something to the table instead of running to the latest clone thinking it will make them rich. But human nature is such unfortunately.
+1 I'm already only concentrating on coins that I hope to see widely used in future. We don't need so many new coins. Concentrate on making available coins stronger and it will benefit whole industry. This pump and dump is not making any good in general. I agree Litecoin, Peercoin, Namecoin, Quark These are the only Cryptos i know besides Bitcoin that bring something new to public awareness. Litecoin an Quark have so many clones. |

1) Remove TRC and replace with QRK
2) Remove NVC and replace with DOGE
3) Remove FTC and replace with WDC
QRK and WDC have been around for a while, and DOGE's large trade volume still hasn't dropped off over a month after its release. Doomsayers said it was going to be dead by now, but it actually seems to be getting stronger. BTC-e is missing out on trade fees alone from DOGE.
And then there are some new coins recently released that could become good candidates later this year. It's too early to add any of those yet.

Well people, nearly each day a new altcoin is created and it really looks like a big mess...
After having been looking for "real" new "revolutionary" coins, I only found few of them :
- Darkcoin :
=> Super secure hashing algorithm: 11 rounds of scientific hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo
=> Power efficient : I get 3 times higher hashing rate compared to scrypt and consuming half my usual power (1180W instead of 2420W on Scrypt mining)
=> Difficulty adjusts every block
- Myriadcoin :
=> Multi algorythm : Scypt, SHA256D, Qubit, Skein or Groestl
=> Difficulty adjusts every block
- Vertcoin :
=> Scrypt-Adaptive-Nfactor
=> Difficulty adjusts every block
Do you guys, know any other "new tech" coins ?
I mean, coins like Doge that I love really feels like dinosaures compare to the new ones above.
That's why I'm trying to find the ones getting new features to guess what would be the evolution of altcoins.
I'm pretty sure we are only living the beginning of a new major revolution like P2P sharing was more than 10 years ago.

Quark had so much promise, what has happened? It continues to fall in demand and price, anything significant on the horizons to look forward to?
It still has and what you say is just part of trading. They go up and down, Quark is still one of the favourites traded in top 10. We need more people converting in Cryptos in general and big exchanges need to open doors, much needs to happen still and many will go over to alts also. If you look for the latest news checkout www.reddit.com/r/Quarkcoin, I believe they are trying to go to NY Crypto Currency event. So that would be cool if it happens. They also got recently a mobile wallet and now included in a litewallet, it's all on reddit |
