3181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose? on: August 27, 2021, 09:50:20 PM
Some people said that 'Don't invest more than you can afford to lose.'
Do you agree?

101%.

This had been the golden rule on this crypto market since the risk is pretty high compared to traditional investments which it is just right that you should really know on how to risk handling
because most newbies do expect that earning money on this place is easy without realizing or knowing the real deal until they do experience losses then thats the only time they do really learn.
Invest on the amount that you could afford to lose and dont invest an loaned money or been borrowed. Dont use your life savings because if you do then its suicide. Crypto
market doesnt guaranteed profits and you should put it up to your mind.
3182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling control on: August 27, 2021, 08:57:45 PM
A newbie shouldn't treat gambling like it's his job in the first place unless he has a ton of money to last until he becomes a pro gambler. If he doesn't have that amount of money, just do gambling for fun so if you lose some, stop betting.
It becomes a problem, when one take Gambling as a mean of livelihood. And it always not easy, stop betting when one lose a bet. Because, you will want to recover your lost, but that may also lead to losing more money on gambling. Also, losing much funds on gambling might results to the gambler getting depressed, as you stated, we just have to gambling for fun, to avoid feeling hurt, when we lose a bet.
This should not be the mindset of everyone, newbie or not don’t treat gambling as your way of living that’s too risky especially if you can’t afford to lose much money. We should know how to control ourselves and do everything to play based on your budget strategy and don’t go beyond that. Gambling is way more fun if you don’t do it to earn money but for a pure pleasure, the more greedy you are the more chances to lose money.
There are people who do actually make a living through gambling and this is actually a worth to read on: https://www.quora.com/Are-there-people-who-actually-make-a-living-gambling

In most cases making gambling as a source of income is a suicide because instead of earning money then you would rather lost it more.
Only a few could able to do so and its pretty rare for someone to achieve that kind of state.
3183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addict on: August 27, 2021, 06:59:33 PM
Lately, I exhibited some character which to me is an addiction.

Whenever I close my eyes, I see the bitcoin logo and price just like the way it is on my device at first I thought it was normal and will fade away with time but it has persisted to this very moment while I was discussing with my other Bitcoin lovers they told me that now an addict.

So I would like to ask, is there anything like a Bitcoin addict if yes then please tell me how to become one, cause I will gladly get addicted to Bitcoin again, and again I will become a Bitcoin pro-addict if that is the case.

Will you get addicted to Bitcoin if that is possible?
Addiction is there but as long you dont compromise nor affect other important things in life then i dont really see a problem in regards to this. We do really see bitcoin investment to be that good.  Cool
Just only remember that everything should be balanced but i cant really blamed off that there are people who do really mind much about their bitcoin investment and we know that our brain could stimulate
those thoughts and thinking even we do sleep because we are minding that much which it isnt surprising.
3184  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crash Gambling Website! betbitcoin247.io on: August 26, 2021, 11:59:20 PM
What exactly do you offer that bustabit and other crash sites don't already?

You need to offer something that differentiates you from the rest of the crowd. Others have come up with genuinely interesting game ideas like crash duels, but all I see here imo is just a plain old crash script.

That's not something that is inherently bad, don't get me wrong. But it is certainly something that can be worked on to attract future players.

I don't know how they can claim that they are one of the largest betting community around the world, that they are just starting here?

This is only crazy claims by a site who's just starting up, it sounds ambitious but if the owners have a lot of money to do marketing and other promotions which can help this site to be the number 1 well there's no doubt that there claims will came true in future. But if they post that just to get the attention of the user and they didn't do anything and wait for players to come well that sounds funny claim since for sure they will be the same to other casino fall down by now the competition is more higher and most casinos at the top is doing an outstanding promotion to make their casino looks good to their players.
Still hard to attain such ambition if we do talk about success if we do consider out the competition of this current market then its really hard to take on the same level.
We dont actually need more crash game sites as of this moment and just like what others been saying that we do already have tons. There are some which are uniquely designed
but still on the same concept and people do mostly stick with the original rather than on going to new ones which doesnt really give out something new.
3185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile phone vs. laptop vs. tab...what's your preferred device for day trading? on: August 26, 2021, 10:59:21 PM
What?
I am not sure why would it matter to know which is preferred device for others while doing the day trade?

Idk, few of them are saying laptop is good few of them saying mobiles are good since they are fit for on the way game etc. But, the thing is you should be choosing your own to trade on your favourite devices. You might comfortable on the tab while someone else might say they are comfortable only on the laptop. I get it, you might be asking this out of the few factors like comfort, data representation, speed trades, easy access etc.

However, the perception of same would be different for every person. I think you should be experimenting day trade few times on different devices and see yourself which is the best fit for you.
I have the opposite opinion, I think this matters a lot, it is known that the way the information is presented can change your perception of what is actually happening, and the size of the screen of each device is completely different so the amount of information that you can receive in each device is different and the representation is different as well, so it is important to see the opinions of others about the devices they use so we can have a more informed opinion about the device that we would like to use.
Disagree with this one because the information you could get would be still the same neither you do have small screen or big screen. The difference here is on the presentation of those informations
which some people doesnt really like to have the hassle of scrolling while you can see all of those infos in one go if you do have a bigger screen. So most of the time it would be much preferable
on having wider or bigger screen when doing day trading. Active trading does simply means you are stationary or most like on your house which i dont see for mobile or smaller
screens to be that effecient.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 61 year old plays the same numbers since 1991 and wins 18 millions on: August 26, 2021, 09:59:48 PM
Would you be able to do it? Playing the same numbers over and over again like this? Because I know that I will not have the patience to do this during 30 years.

winning 18 m for 30 year waiting and repeating the same thing. he must really believe in that number. for me I don't really like lottery and maybe I won't be able to be consistent like him. and for his dedication to waiting 30 years to get it all he deserves that prize.

Exactly, I posted the above response to the OP in the same manner.

I can't understand why he only chose that number and became lucky by continuously betting on that same number, even if there are 1 million total lottery tickets then his probability of winning on the same number he has chosen would be less than 0.1%, but he still won it. It's quite impressive.
Not quite impressive but totally exceptional and you would need all luck in the world before you could hit up a jackpot on lottery considering the odds then it is really close to impossible.
What is impressive here is that man do continously play lottery for 30 years which everyone couldnt really make it of that far.
With lots of combinations then you would really boggle up your mind on changing your number combinations because the previous one had lost and this would
be the primary mindset you do have.
3187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 26, 2021, 08:59:27 PM
I think it can't be happen because you have to keep in mind that MarkepCap of eth are too high than cardano . and you know that ethereum are known as the father of alts many of high profile coin work on ethereum blockchain like Neo etc which has a huge price at the moment. So some people has taught that cardano beat them in next 3to5 year I think its totally wrong because I am confirm that after 3to5 year eth price will be almost in 5digit price
Comparing between cap;

ADA Market Cap
$81,135,748,229

ETH
Market Cap
$365,527,643,763

There's soo much difference. Smart contracts utility isnt something easily can be beaten down.
3188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 26, 2021, 07:59:31 PM
Online casinos are booming right now, and I'd say that hiring a sexy girl just to attract men to their website is extremely difficult, though a model could be used as a banner.

Right. But everyone tries their best to get good response from the players. Everyone tries to do something different for this. So it seems to me that these casinos are also in that kind of effort. And men are a little more attracted to sexy girls, which is why such moves are coming to the market.

Everyone wants to be one step ahead of their competitors, for which they want to try all sorts. We already see that many gambling websites use pictures of girls in their banner ads. So it can be said that gamblers are a little more attracted to girls.

We all know that even in traditional casinos, they really do hire females wearing on their sexy outfits, just another attraction/distraction per se. So with these online casinos, what they can do is just use sexy models to attract these male gamblers. It has been a norm already, nothing new in this set-up. Now, if you are a male, it is up to you how you will react on these models. Are you going to be distracted or can you focus with your game knowing there is sexy model in front of you?  Wink
I can say that this is in fact correct, before the pandemic happened and I actually attended to regular casinos one thing that I noticed was that every time that I was up by a significant margin a girl will get close to me and begin a conversation, now at first I thought this was just a normal interaction at the casino but then I realized that this was most likely an undercover casino employee with the intention of making you spend that money or lose it, so as you say this is already happening in traditional casinos anyway.
Not that surprising since this would be always their motive and they wont really be there for nothing which means they are luring men to play on the casino via those beauty and attraction.
It might sound dumb but it does really work because men is really highly reactive when seeing sexy woman around and this is why its already been part of their tradition or lets say
a default aspect for a gambling casino to have because you cant really just put up some males on there because it would really look less attractive.
3189  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 25, 2021, 11:58:32 PM
PayPal has started working with cryptocurrencies and it proved to be very profitable for them. So I am not sure why the banks can't do the same. It is not necessary for them to take a decision to exclude modes of payment other than fiat currency. And although it is true that cryptocurrencies threaten the current banking model, there are a few sectors where both the sides can benefit from cooperation. Cryptocurrency is still in early adopter stage, and if the banks incorporate it into their platform, then in the long term they will benefit.
This is indeed still an interesting topic of conversation about cryptocurrencies with banks,
when talking about benefits I think if both of them work with each other maybe they will get their respective benefits,
and in the future of course this will continue to be interesting and let's wait for further news
They could work if banks would be accepting but due to decentralized aspect then it not really surprising that they would really be deciding the opposite.
Its not really needed for only single thing will exist because both could really serve up different markets depending on someones choice and preference.
When it comes to blockchain technology then this is something which is really considerable for banking system to adopt.
3190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esport Gambling with Crypto. on: August 25, 2021, 10:58:57 PM
Poker, Dice betting, and Casino games are in the gambling market for a long time but when do you think Esport betting such as  League of Legends and Dota became popular.

League of legends especially..., was released in 2009 the same year bitcoin was released in both are different but have progressed a lot finance-wise.

Do you think Esports betting has a good scope in the future where most of the teens are getting into games like LoL and world of warcraft, Dota, etc?
Even if they don't hear this in ads they will most likely hear it from their in-game teammates.

Dont know on where you do came from or totally you arent a gambler after all. Its been a long time that there are bookies offering these esports and make out bets of them.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/betsy
Gg.bet
Loot.bet
etc..

You could see lots of choices if you wanted to. Its just a matter of some effort on making some simple search.
3191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: August 25, 2021, 09:59:24 PM

* If it's not possible with $15k, then what's the minimum it would be possible with (of course this is considering this is the only hindrance).
If we do talk about $15k capital and tending to make 5k a month then i could say that its very attainable but would really be depending on how you would really able to handle yourself in active trading.
This is something that where most people do fail on because dealing with volatile market on active manner isnt simply as it sounds.Yes, it is really giving that chance on higher profits but the risk
is more higher compared when you do make swing or long term trades. So the answer of this question is really be depending on someones capability towards trading
which most people do really differs on.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: August 25, 2021, 08:59:10 PM
One of my neighbours, a million years ago, was obviously addict to the slot machines. He would spend hours spinning in a nearby bar (these machines are allowed in bars in my country of origin) and my take is that he would spend a fortune on it. Once, I passed by and I overheard him saying "I am going to teach this machine who is in charge". It sounded like he was attributing some short of conscience and life to the machine and though he could "beat it". I have observed that many people that gamble are into that type of thinking, that is, it is me against this code and this machine and I can actually break the code and win.

I personally do not play slots, but do you think that is why people like slot machines? Short of breaking their code?

I had heard the theory that there were people capable of breaking the code, mostly from Chinese nationals. I stopped believing in it since a friend who works in a casino told me that they have a lot of Chinese gamblers who end up self-excluding after having too much. You put "Wang" or "Chen" in the computer system and a very long list of people who have self-excluded themselves from the casinos comes up.

Things like this are likely to happen, thinking that you can break the code and enjoy keep winning from the house. Probably casino is just alluring you and give you some time to cash out of their house, but in returned a long losing streak will keep on happening to you. You'll just realize that you already lose too much from this activity.

Gambling operators know how to take advantage of gamblers' greediness, they'll let you feel you are in control, but in the end, they are the ones who are controlling you.
Breaking the code is something that would never happen because gambling houses are businesses and there's no way that you can milk them out without noticing if ever you do really find out some bugs literally.
In means of emotional aspect then this is something that you cant really just able to get rid. You would definitely be finding ways to take advantage towards gambling and would mind about constant win
which we can say that it is impossible and to think off that this kind of motive in mind will really be triggering out addiction.
3193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO when a coin is pumping on: August 25, 2021, 07:50:12 PM
I always wonder why a lot of people fomo to buy a coin or token after the price has pumped. In this present bull run I've seen a lot of people FOMO and buy cryptos at a really high price and they quickly dump when they witness drawdowns.
Isn't that just hustling backwards?? Its almost like they are trying to loose money on purpose.
So i wonder why they FOMO to buy in the first place
For many people, it is easier to act, looking back at how everyone else is doing, rather than giving yourself the trouble to spend your time and energy on your own studies and your own analysis of projects and coins, before starting investing. The usual human desire to make money by accident, without making serious efforts.
We do go into those path on where it is on the the easiest part or doesnt really like to put much effort on studying and researching up everything. When they do saw something
which is really on trend or really the main talk of the town then they do tend to jump in without further verification or having some research and this is where most people do
really end up on getting scammed or lost their investment because they werent aware that a certain coin is already on peak or already in Fomo state.
Yes, it isnt easy to determine the situation but having some sufficient experience into the market will really give at least some idea.
3194  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 24, 2021, 11:49:17 PM
There is a benefit on us for those who choose gambling sites that required KYC, We are safe from hackers and fraud users, they also afraid to join a casino the heavily required KYC for some reason.
What the heck are you talking about? Providing your KYC implies that your information could get leaked online of hackers manage to hack the site in question successfully.

This means that your information isn't safe at all. Roobet's security is top-class, but this doesn't imply that it's impossible for it to get hacked. Way bigger sites like Binance(Top-class security) etc got hacked in the past.

This is the primary reason why majority of crypto investors including me hate providing KYC unless absolutely necessary.
Cryptocurrency market did really get soo much attention due to decentralization or being anonymous and we all here on this forum does hate KYC because we dont like for our personal
informations to get leaked and same as you said that even top secured platforms had some issues about hacking in the past which doesnt guarantee about the safety of those
personal documents that do exposes of your identity which i dont really see for it to be benefit. Is he out of his mind?  Cheesy
3195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin go high the poor will not participate on: August 24, 2021, 10:52:56 PM
Bitcoin is for everybody and it isnt created for a specific person, institution or group of people which means you can buy it even if your poor.It doesnt matter on how much you would spent because you can buy on small parts and just like on what other been saying that you can buy on small fractions and doesnt need to be a whole.

it's nonsense. where they were poor people when bitcoin was less than $30k btw. it's just few weeks ago or when <$10k. now they too could be rich or if the price really comes up to $100k.
no matter, if Bitcoin value going up 15%, the same per cent is for the rich and the poor. so everyone who invested at least one dollar will have a profit of 15%.
Gains and losses would really be just the same in terms of percentage but of course the difference can be seen is on the total amount because
we do have different capability in regards to financial.
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2020 caused a spike in gamlbing issues on: August 24, 2021, 09:42:06 PM
What do you think would be the best option to those that are experimenting these issues right now? Should they stop watching sports forever as this is the trigger that causes them to gamble without control or should another solution be possible?

Gambling addiction is something that cant really be resolved out and trying to look into those countries which do ban up gambling but still the problem do still exist. Why? Due to accessibility or with the technology
today then its really inevitable for someone to find up ways for them to gamble. It doesnt matter if an online casino or would really be connecting through sports betting or something like that.
Addiction is something a personal issue and cant be resolved out no matter what other external help or solutions would really set in.
3197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking vs investment on: August 24, 2021, 08:50:41 PM
Most of us find ourselves in the position that we are forced to retrain from a trader to an investor. This happens when the coin has fallen very much in price, but we have no desire to fix the loss, and we continue to hold it until the price of the coin recovers. And in some cases, we become eternal investors, since some coins have no prospects for price recovery.
As I've tried to become a trader, it finds to be stressful than just an investor. Many times it happens that a trader becomes a long-term holder because of a huge dump happen and not being able to sell them at lose, I certainly experienced this one and I realize that traders will often lose than just an investor.

This really matters our choice, some just to think that trading will give them a good profit but just to surprise that later on, they get back to investing only. This could picture out that how hard is trading especially when you don't have deep knowledge in the crypto market.
Many traders end up becoming long term investors because they realize that the life of a trader is very hard, every single day you need to get results and you need to watch the markets and always apply your strategy perfectly every single time, this make trading a very difficult job and even some of the best traders get tired of the pressure and they decide to leave it behind and become investors despite the greater profits they can get by trading.
Majority of those people who had just started up trading will really be be that eager on dealing with price actively until they do realize that this isnt something simple that you could really pull off.
This is why they do really end up on holding or making themselves to be a holder or swing trader instead which i could definitely say since this is what i am when i was just starting.
It doesnt matter though on which one as long you do earn profits then that what matter most or the main priority no matter what methods or behavior you do have.
3198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 24, 2021, 07:46:27 PM
What's the current progress of this possible match?

Not following much but is there any chance that this fight will happen?

As we know, Naoya Inoue has now become vocal that he wants John Riel Casimero first. He is dedicated to crash the Quadro Alas now because of the trashtalk not realizing Casimero is just marketing the fight because his name is not that big to attract audiences.
I also never heard any news with their match-up date, only just trash talks. But because many had wanted it to make it happen in order to know who's better, I think this gonna happen someday. It is probably early next year since Casimero is in the fight earlier, I think he needs to relax first and fully recovered before he goes for another fight.

Well, we know Casimero is good at attracting audiences because of its trash talks and surely this fight will gain a huge number of bets.

Still waiting for Inoues camp to make a final deal if they will fight Casimero instead of doing the rematch against Donaire, but like what you have said, the noise of this possible fight already getting good audience interest.

There are more fans that will support the fight between Casimero and Inoue, that trash talks really gained too much interest.

waiting still and giving my personal opinion, fighters and promoters will be more interested with the money fight.
They would surely go on things which is more hyped and been a talk of town because they could really benefit from that and wont really be letting this opportunity to get more revenue.
I do also see that Casimero vs Inoue is much more appealing and much having lots of interest compared on rematch from Donaire which i wouldnt really be surprised if they would really
be choosing this one over the other but who knows? Nothing is finalized yet as long they wouldnt really give out some confirmations or approval of such possible match up.
We can speculate but not able to make a final decision.
3199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: August 23, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
All we keep hearing about is a guy who invested 100$ in meme coin and go home with 100,000$ but no one is talking about those guys who invested 10,000$ in meme coins and go home with zero $ , the truth is many losses more money than those who win investing in meme coin, it's like buying your fantasies when you know that your chances are very slim, meme coins are shitcoins but many don't want to accept just because someone make 100,000$ off the shitcoin haha
Investing in shitcoins does simply shows off a little bit gambling which means that you would need some luck before you could really earn tons even if you do only make use of small amount.
It is composed of buyers and sellers and if you do make sell on the right  time when the market is still on peak or had been pumped by some whale or something manipulative then this is
where you do really make tons of profits which it is really lucky for someone who do able to dive in and make risk when it is still on the floor.
3200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: August 23, 2021, 07:59:09 PM
This is definitely a problem with gamblers.

I think that most people don't even realise that they are playing a game that carries negative EV. They just go in and expect to make money as if they are not playing for the sake of entertainment.

That actually really concerns me, and I think must be addressed.

People shouldn't be playing because they think there is some loophole that doesn't exist. They should be playing for fun and for personal enjoyment.

That's right. First of all, you should be a really good coder to have even a slightest chance of finding a loophole. But then, if you are so good in coding, you know that it can take a lot of time, and most likely the time will be wasted in vain. Also, your salary, as of a good coder, can be pretty good and you'll don't have time for such nonsense.

that's why I love block-chain gambling.
It's very easy to verify your bets themselves when an honest site offers you the tools to verify it, even in most of them you can even verify your bets on third-party sites.

Of course, the house will always have the advantage, but no one can say it was stolen.
You wouldnt know until it would be obvious for someone could able to observe and those kind of behavior is just normal. We do mind about fairness because we are risking or putting our money on here
and its just normal that we would really be having that kind of thoughts or thingg in mind.As a gambler and a bit impulsive or emotional then these kind of things could really happen.
Motivated on breaking the code? In most cases then this is something which isnt really hat possible most of the time.
