When pre-sale investors (bought at $0.25~$1.5) withdraw and sell, maybe huge dump!
Yes, this is what a lot of ppl with not enough information keep insisting on, but I bet that the affect will be much less then you all think. First of all, those who bought at $0.25~$1.5 did so when Bitcoin was at around $2500 (ethereum was not an option at the time) based on the Bitcoin price rise since than they paid more like $0.4~$2.5. Secondly there is a reason that you and most of other traders, ICO hoppers, quick profit hunters, etc. didn't even hear about the $0.25 until much later. Simply put it wasn't open to the general public. The majority of this was bought up by the team, serious investors, future enterprise users, (and I bet an exchange or too). These are not people who look for quick profits, especially when they see much greater profit in the long term, or even better an utility to their tokens. In Salt's case the platform may launch as soon as mid-november. Sure, there will be dumping but it will be moderate, $0.25 ($0.4 really) investors are not the masses who scare easily, money knows how to make more. Now, one last thing, just for the record. The only reason I made this post because this thread is full of negativity, and bad information (seriously, about half of the facts posted here are either outright wrong or misleading), simply because no SALT Team member ever set foot into this thread, or even someone with more knowledge about the issues ever really bothered to show up here and spend time and energy on setting people straight. There were serious in-depth discussions about this and many other issues about the membership sale as well as the future utility of the platform itself. But not here, never here. So my advice for someone who is looking for information on SALT and found this thread would be: Find a better source of information, this there won't serve you well. I think 64% at 0.25 is bought by the team, or even better was retained by the team. Rest remaining were sold at premium until 25$. If you see that way, profit is already 100X. This thread is filled with negativity because of the 0.25 presale, that was sold to insiders. How is this different from Ripple, where 66% of token is retained by the organisation, and everyone else lives in constant fear, when they will dump on you. Is there any vesting for first three tiers? (Atleast ripple has locked the tokens.) P.S. - Just my opinion, not legal advice since Salt is not a token as they advertise on their telegram. |

Been away for awhile, looking at my dashboard now. I see SALT tokens are being sold for $22.5. I thought the final price was going to be $10. I know there is not much trading yet on gatecoin, but last marks there are around $25. Heard rumor about "$15 tier" but haven't seen anything from Salt team. I thought the team was going to target a $10 token by issuing/burning coins. How can a token that costs $25 and purchases the same discounted lending rate as the supposed $10 price have the same economic value? I understand why they might trade at any price on the secondary market, but why is the token sale being continued at a price so much higher than the stated target? Have the terms of the discount changed. I haven't scoured every forum yet, but any answers/suggestions would be appreciated...
Because greed. First they announced that retail price will be 10$. Now it's being sold at 25$ a piece, someone is paying, why they will miss the chance of cash grab. Then heard that they will distribute tokens manually in 48 hrs window, then heard that tokens are on liqui/etherdelta selling below 4$. Apparently you can not ask any trade related questions on their telegram, they will ban you immediately. This is turning out like Decent token distribution. Announce that tokens will be distributed manually, let the team dump their tokens on market first, everyone else remains a bagholder. |

Unsold tokens worth 96k eth. Sold token less than 8% out of total 10 trillion. Everyday more than 200,000 thousand token will be infused into market by KIN. Just look at the inflation, and ask yourself why this will trade above ICO price.
This was nothing more than a cash grab scheme by a company who has a chat app like okcupid, whatspp or viber.

I'm not sure with it, As far as i know the big ico will never be traded above the ico price because the room for the growth of the token already drained by the ico participant. A lot of people are holding it right now. Well you heard it first on this thread. It's trading 4-5x right now, as predicted. It's not about big ICO's or small ICO's, big ICO's like status or Bancor are under performing because of their own greed. Bancor never stopped the sale after it reached the cap, status clogged down entire eth network for a day, but more than that it depends on the tech behind the project and belief in the team. KNC has both. |

I think MGO is undervalued and has too small capitalization. I read its white paper and look forward to all the promised sweets.
It's definitely undervalues atm. One of the main reasons was Bittrex listing that did not go through smoothly. First they added the coin, and later realized that there system is not compatible with thi ERC token, so they dropped it. It's time to accumulation time right now, can see big movement in next 2-3 months. |

I feel your pain on DNT....been dropping like a rock. I've got 5k USD invested in it now that I've bought on the way down. I think it has major upside, but the market needs to have a good turn around first. Luckily I got MCO and ARK early on and its making up for some DNT losses. Can't win 'em all! DNT doesn't really have token value. I wouldn't touch it. Just read the steemit post, wow very well done. Wish I was in alts instead of BTC throughout this year, would have also made a killing! Always worth keeping an eye out on the market.

Withdrawing all of your coins is not a good solution. Withdrawing will costs you withdraw fee and if you are holding around 30-35 coins in nova and then you have to install these coins personal wallets or move to other exchanges and then again moving these coins to nova will again costs you withdraw fee. Please don't give noob solution. We want more quick and easy solution.

It should at least be listed in CMC  How can footballcoin get listed when they are not in any exchange yet, it will only show zero volume and zero value, because we have no way of knowing the value of footballcoin, because it has no existing market to trade this coin. I'm seriously starting to think that team is not interested to get this coin on exchange. Coins who do less and are vaporware are listed. And this coin with working game and all doesn't even try. How hard it is to get listed on atleast crptopia or liqui. Seems like a cash grab through ICO and then investing that money on platform without any benefits to the investors. I am holdin about 200k XFC. I had very big expectations in the beginning of this project but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Let me say that i do believe in this project. I guess it just needs a bit time. However, time is more important than ever in this ICO world...

Last week's bounties have not been updated in the signature spreadsheet. I'm assuming that until the team finalizes what to do next, it's better to pause the bounty campaign. I had high hopes from this project, but there's no point in wearing the signature, if project is indefinitely on hold. I might join back later.

Depends on what's the coin purpose is. If it's network token or stealth coin like ether, monero, cloak, waves etc, then long term. other ICO's 2x-3x. If by any chance i miss initial dumping, then hold until you're in profit or break even and then sell.

I do not understand why this project is so bad, for a long time LBRY has not recovered and just continues to go lower and lower.  The devs don't have marketing and advertising or create at event to promote recovered and growth. They let everything fall free And I decided to cut my losses though I lost 5BTC with this investment and will never invested in LBRY once more. Very bad...  This may not be a coin which makes you super rich over night. They are still working on the project and those with patience will be the happy bunnies in the future. Damn right, this coin makes nobody rich over night. I am so fucking happy I already sold this shitpiece coin. Coin keeps dropping lower and lower, reaching new low at 0.22$ since may because the devs put a big fucking middlefinger in peoples faces. Nobody will ever invest into this coin and it will drop to 0.05$ again. This is a perfect example of how to fail with a working product. I sold too, and am done with this coin. Someone posted few pages and few months before about Devs dumping huge supply when the price was ATH. At that time i made fun of that guy, not embarrassed to accept my mistake here. I always invest in projects with working products, which lbry had, and still it's messed up beyond point of revival. |
