Hm, your thoughts on why you call STeX a scam would be very much appreciated. I know that you're quite active in regards to researching/finding ICOs and Bounty Campaigns, that's why I usually would tend to believe you. But since STeX already has a bit of a history with its ups and downs and although there was the issue with Andrew, the team delivered and is still delivering. I don't see why this would be a scam for crypto newbies? I mean, the team already raised ~$20 million. They could've run already, they didn't. Instead, they delivered the MVP/alpha, as promised and they keep on improving it. So I don't get where your thoughts are coming from. I know that there are a lot of scammy projects around as of late but STeX is no new project, it started mid 2017 with the Pre ICO in August 2017. |

Hmm, hab jetzt alles nochmal geprüft. Aus dem Pool ist alles ordentlich gesendet. Der Status dieser Zahlung ist Confirmed und wenn ich die Transaction ID anklicke und mir diese Auszahlung raus suche, ist auch alles Ok. Wie bei allen anderen Auszahlungen. Nur im Wallet ist sie nicht angekommen, kann doch nicht sein, oder? Jetzt sind´s mal 1015 die weg sind. Das nächste mal vieleicht 10000... Wenn man es überhaupt mitbekommt...  Hast du dir mal mehrere Transaktionen angesehen? Zahlst du irgendeine withdrawal fee oder Netzwerkgebühr? Mich würde es wirklich wundern, wenn eine Transaktion einfach so verschwindet. Habe selbst leider die Sia Wallet schon länger nicht mehr gestartet und ich erinnere mich, dass das syncen ewig dauert  Ich würde nochmal genau nachschauen. Hi, deine Frage ist ein wenig uspezifisch. Warum machst du nicht einfach mal ein Beispiel oder wirst sogar konkret und sagst uns genau was du meinst  ? Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass du schon gerne eine brauchbare Antwort bekommen würdest, da hilft es auf jeden Fall wenn du relativ genau in deiner Frage bist. Crypto ist ein weites Feld und kann oft komplexer sein, als es auf den ersten Blick den Anschein hat. Sei jedenfalls vorsichtig. Wenn das Angebot zu gut klingt um wahr zu sein, dann lass lieber die Finger davon. |

For sure, nothings wrong with STeX.exchange. Unlike with other exchanges, STeX team is easily to communicate. In fact, I think it is favorable with them since the target of this project is to hold and aggregate all of existing coins in cryptocurrency. I believe that if you will contact the developer of STeX, your conversation will take smoothly.
I'm also so glad that STeX already finished the first ICO successfully and that this is one project that is safe to invest in. There are so many out there that are fake but STeX has a working MWP, kept their promises and steadily builds this awesome exchange. |

Since whether a post is of "high quality" is an equally highly subjective matter you can't expect to get merited for every post that has more than 100 words in it. Don't focus on the merits, focus on the content, try to learn things and give back your knowledge. This has far more value in the long run, for you and for the forum. |

In addition to what LoyceV said, try to get people interested in your project. If it has value and you can give good and convincing reasons why this is so, you'll attract all kinds of members also those with higher ranks. Switch your goal, instead of hunting for Merit, reputation and post counts, give value to the community and you'll have an instant advantage over so many other projects. Using YouTube, Telegram, Twitter, Facebook etc. isn't wrong per se, but you need to take into account that many cheap projects use exactly those methods. If you do the same you risk your project getting compared to those and by this being drowned in equally cheap bounty hunters farmers. In the end, this will help no one, not your project and not the forum. |

Things got me cleared when I scanned the few pages of the WP. But when I was halfway of reading, I just notice how does STeX assure us that their exchange will got all of existing cryptocurrency and new ones? I think that after ICO, all of the ICOs will contract the only exchange/s that they want to be part. If that is true, how does STeX aggregate every cryptocurrency?
It is possible because STeX allow to trade coins listed on other exchanges. So if any ICO will show on a particular exchange it will automatically be available on STeX too. What about the coins that will not like to be in the STeX exchange? In my observation, there are successful ICO who choose exchange based upon they wants and not with the capability of an exchange. Well, I think it does not matter since STeX will be the best exchange in cryptocurrency. Hm, I never heard of a project that specifically didn't want to get listed on a certain exchange. There are coins that aren't listed, yes, but that's because they didn't apply. I can't see any drawbacks for a coin or token if it gets listed on exchanges, the more the better as this creates volume. There's also the difference between coins and tokens as tokens that comply with e.g. the ERC20 or NEP standard they don't have a choice whether they can get lister or not unless they choose not to be tradeable at all, which defeats the purpose in most cases. |

I agree with you as a content creator because most of the time they ask for too much, some of them want us to do high quality stuff, but they do not pay very well. I think you are not forced to join the bounty you don't like since they are a lot of bounties that's is great too.
I guess that's because there are so many bounty hunters out there that do a crappy job. They're in for the money and do as little as possible, either not seeing the whole picture or not fearing the consequences. Reputation is hard to come by. It would help if Bounty Mangers would ask Content creators for previous jobs, just like Translators. That way they could weed out a lot of cheap players. |

I believe in market forces, if something works, people will continue doing it, if it doesn't they ultimately won't. That's how it is in every new space.
Why would I as a company give random bounty hunters 'real' money? Instead, I'll pay them in tokens, that way they really have an incentive to make the project work. else they have zero value. There needs to be a good mix though, a good campaign is only as good as the tools it utilizes. If the marketing material is crappy, you can have a legion of twitter and facebook bounty hunters and it won't work. If you have professional material (paid for with e.g. fiat) but lack the means of deploying it, then it's also bad for your project.

- Es wird erwartet, dass jeder Text von Menschen übersetzt und Korrektur gelesen wird, jegliche Form von automatisierten Tools ist verboten (Google Translate), andernfalls erfolgt ein Bann aus der gesamten Kampagne.

- Es wird erwartet, dass der ANN Thread mindestens 1x Woche mit News und Updates gepflegt wird.
- Es wird erwartet, dass ANN und Bounty Übersetzungen innerhalb von 2 Tagen (7 Tage fürs WP) nach Freigabe des Jobs erfolgen.
- Die benötigten Sprachen für Übersetzungen sind limitiert und richten sich nach der Aktivität der Communities auf Bitcointalk.

That is something already being considered by theymos:
I don't think doing such a thing will stop the trust farming by DT1 members. As long as you can gain positive trust by adding someone to your trust network, it will be abused. True, but if there'd be a (guided) process for generating your own trust list, the additional benefit would be that a lot more people would actually understand it. Because as I see it, the majority of BCT users doesn't even know how it works, only that red/negative trust is bad but they have no clue how it comes to red trust unless they are affected by it in any way. Imo a system - no matter what system - only works if the majority understands and uses it (correctly). |

That's true that adding new coins to exchange requires some work to implement and maintain, but Ivan told earlier that they are open for listing new coins if devs will request it. See quote below.
Yes, I know, but there must be a really good reason to add a token/coin that isn't listed on other exchanges since maintaining a token/coin on an exchange comes at a cost since you need to maintain it and if there isn't enough volume it wouldn't pay for itself. Sure, the community could vote on implementing a token/coin but I hope that people understand that it's not 'free', so using assets that are already listed on other exchanges has several advantages over adding it only on STeX. Plus if you take a low volume coin for example (or zero volume as it isn't traded) and you add it to STeX so that people have all those different pairs available, they'll start trading it, ok. But what if it dies or there really is no volume since it's an irrelevant coin, then what? The trades were made through the liquidity pool and since the coins aren't traded the money is tied up and ultimately lost. So it definitely is a business decision whether to add an asset or not. There needs to be a thorough risk-assessment resp. risk/reward-analysis before even letting the community vote on a coin (which in itself comes at a price since someone must do this analysis). tl;dr: there is a reason why coins aren't added on exchanges and STeX shouldn't add random coins only because it's possible. |

How does a coin or token get on STeX's Exchange? I wanted to recommend to a token I'm involved with that is having difficulties getting on other exchanges and wondered what the process is.

As said by the developers earlier, in the first place, are added the coins from the top 100,as far as possible from the top 200, so I think not soon, your coin will be added, but the stex is a good team and I think will listen to the people But if the token/coin has problems to get listed on other exchanges, it is doubtful that it will get listed on STeX. It's not only that there is a high correlation between getting listed on exchanges and reaching the top 100, it's more about the fact that if a token/coin isn't listed on another exchange, it can't be listed on STeX without integrating it directly (which includes the maintenance of the wallet etc.) |

Because it's a give and take and there are some rules/guidelines to follow and if you know them, your life will be much easier: You'll find any topic you could imagine and if something is missing, start your own one, since that's the spirit of BCT, share information. I'm not sure if STeX has given insights in regards to how the tokens/coins will be made available as there are several ways to achieve this. theoretically, they could use an API like https://coinswitch.co/ did in order to get access to exchanges. Would be great if the team could say a few words about their plans (if it's not a company secret). |
