321  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 12, 2015, 06:42:04 PM
I buy it mainly for my investment. And also for buying stuff online

Yeah bitcoins can be proved to be an best investment product for the future as we believe that the value would reach to a very high level but I suggest you not to buy bitcoins at a moment as the present value of bitcoins is increasing you should wait for the prices to go down and that would be the best time to buy.
322  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: November 12, 2015, 06:32:35 PM
I have very long list which I want to buy with btc but right now I cannot buy any thing for I need some long time to fulfill my wish because here in my country adaption of bitcoin is very slow and this could take too much time to do all settle here for bitcoin

Yeah adoption level is the main problem we are facing and unless the adoption level goes high we won't be able to use bitcoins to buy stuffs online or even for buying some basic stuffs, and yeah I really wish that I could pay my bills at restaurants or could order a pizza and make a payment using bitcoins but that is simply impossible in my country, I wish that things changes very soon.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best Bitcoin film? on: November 12, 2015, 06:28:15 PM
What's the best Bitcoin film?

I'm looking for documentaries but any film is good to be aware of.

Let's hear it!

I think you should watch The Rise and Rise of Bitcoins on youtube as it will give the clear picture of what bitcoins is all about and it would  be the best documentary for a newbie who wants to learn about the bitcoins and wants to get into bitcoins and I assure that documentary would be a learning experience for you as it also focuses on technical aspects of bitcoins.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 12, 2015, 06:23:09 PM
now is not the time to hold back but it's time to sell, the price of bitcoin now can say is high, so that's why it's better to sell it, but if it predicts that prices will rise again bitcoin, then hold it until the price goes up
too late to sell, if the price falls you have to have patience, usually a layman would be frightened when the price falls,
stay calm and remain hold, because bitcoin prices will definitely go up and down

Price fluctuation is the part and parcel of bitcoins we cannot be very much sure that the price would be go higher and would remain stable and that is simply not possible and that is the reason people are not adopting bitcoins and don't have faith in bitcoins because of price volatility clause attached with it, but the best thing is if price goes up, sell it.
325  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 06:17:42 PM
i have same problem, its really hard to motivate woman to using bitcoin, even to explain what is bitcoin to them, they will not understand, because really hard to find women to be internet freak, and i think bitcoiner so many from internet freak.

Dude, women use now more internet as compared to men so that is not the right reason, If we show them the benefits associated with bitcoins then then they would surely start using bitcoins and the best way to motivate them is by saying that you can do shopping with the use of bitcoins as women are more addicted to shopping so if they know that they can use bitcoins for the shopping purpose they would surely start using it.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream Yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 12, 2015, 06:10:42 PM
Of course it needs help, without those steps being fulfilled bitcoin will remain forever at the 200-300$ price range.
Completely wrong.  If Bitcoin provides an operational advantage, the value will go through the roof.  Those 'steps' you describe are just plain stupid.  You are probably stupid as well.

There, you have your argument first and insult later.  Better for you?

Well, i maybe dont agree with rawdog style but in my opinion he is right like never before. Bitcoin, like any other currency (yes, for me Bitcoin is currency, i use it to buy or sell other things) need to be used if we want to give more value to it. Merchants and services will never adopt it as payment option if we dont use it frequently and average Joe will never use and buy bitcoin if he cant spend it.

Looks like he chose to reply with an egoistical attitude towards that. It is clear that without merchants adoptiong it, there is no advantage to common people to use bitcoin, rather than just use fiat.

I think merchants will adopt bitcoin if many people ask them to accept bitcoin & there's bitcoin payment system which allow merchants to accept bitcoin easily.
So, we need bitcoin payment system such as BitPay or Coinbase & high demand of payment with bitcoin.

For that we need to take an initiate and keep on asking merchants every now and then that do you accept bitcoins? do you accept bitcoins?? that will make him to think twice, if he is aware about the bitcoins he will take further steps and if he is not aware he would atleast try to know what bitcoins is all about So unless we don't take first step it would never gonna work.
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: November 12, 2015, 06:05:10 PM
I would sell all my Bitcoins if they get to 550$-600$.

But that's what I say every single time when I'm waiting for the right price, they I always want some more but before that the price drops. That happened this time as well Sad

Dude if you are really planning to sell your bitcoins on that range, I suggest you should ready your coins cuz that's coming before this month ends Cheesy (just a speculation , I strongly believe on it though)

Yeah the value of bitcoins will reach at the price very soon but we want that it should go much beyond that then only we would be able to make some profits out of it, and selling all bitcoins would not serve the purpose, selling few bitcoins and saving rest for the future would be the great thing to do as we can buy some more coins in the future when prices again goes down.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin on: November 12, 2015, 06:01:46 PM
I think bitcoin will be developed in the future, may bitcoin will be used in the real world in the form of credit cards, so everyone can wear bitcoin, bitcoin can also provide the results of a fairly large for the unemployed who are looking for bitcoin.  Smiley
That's already happening dude, bitcoin debit cards were now used by some bitcoin users and maybe me sooner or later. I think the future is near, and if bitcoin went on mainstream, that's definitely the future. Smiley

Yeah, and the only thing we need is that bitcoins gets on the mainstream and if you talk about credit cards then bitcoins has already started to replace credit cards, as of today I don't use credit cards for online shopping, I make payments using bitcoins as it is very conviniet as compared to credit cards.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 12, 2015, 05:57:53 PM
Browse through the bitcoin faucets on sites like faucetbox.com and you'll earn an easy dollar in an hour. But that's not worth your time as you could be doing bigger and better things tbh.

Though faucets can also ease the way I idle sometimes. When looking for something to earn I see that I wasted so much time. If I have done it by doing faucets I might have earned some, not that big though but it is still profit somehow. That is what faucet can do take your extra time, besides it doesn't really eat that much time.
faucet's are just waste of time and gives nothinhg but dust. You can earn a lot more than that by working somewhere near your house, and that too part-time.

Yeah, faucets would not give you anything, it is better to join signature campaigns and start earning bitcoins as faucets is just a waste of time for you at the primary stage I believe that signature campaigns is the best option available for you and it is safe and you won't loose anything like gambling or trading you will earn some bitcoins that is for sure.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: November 12, 2015, 05:53:31 PM
Gambling Mostly, and as an investment to hold onto.  Hoping for that $1M per coin!

Same here gambling with bitcoins is something best thing in life as bitcoins allows us to bet with even minimal amount which no other currency allows, So I generally use bitcoins for gambling and also sometimes for my mobile recharge and online shopping but more of that I used for gambling and making some good profits out of it.
331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 05:42:04 PM
Not buying enough bitcoins when the price was really low

and for not believing how good bitcoin would turn out to be and not believing how good of an investment it would've been

That is  the mistake that we all have done that we didn't buy bitcoins when the price was really low and the reason behind it is that we didn't had faith in bitcoins at the initial stage and we just got carried away by the news displayed by press and media as we are influenced by them and we had a feeling that bitcoins will survive for a longer time.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 05:35:18 PM
I've invested abit into gambling sites and earned quite good returns on my investment. Although there's is still a chance that the site goes down or a whale comes and wins alot

Unfortunately there have been people who have done investments and analysis of the same. Thy ended up losing most of their btc. So its best not to take those risks and save on to bitcoin instead.

If you invest into a safe gambling website you will end up profiting in the long term. Why do you think it's best to save your bitcoins instead? What guarantees you that bitcoin wont be worth 1$ next year? Nothing.

Gambling is Gambling, Gambling can never be the safe thing to do, you would win at the initial stage but in long run you will end up loosing this is the golden rule of gambling that no one earns profit, the only people who are getting rich from gambling are the owners of the gambling sites. So it is better to stay away from gambling if you have patience then trading is the best option to grow your bitcoins.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: November 12, 2015, 05:30:18 PM
Yeah, I think we need to do more advertising for Bitcoin. Cos I don't see many people around me that know Bitcoin
I've tried to gradually introducing Bitcoin to my friends, but I'm still a little hesitant to do so. Because I'm afraid they can't accept it and instead mocking me.

Exactly, same is the scenario in my country that no one is aware about the bitcoins, and that is the problem we all are facing when it comes to bitcoins, we want that every one should be aware and start using it then only bitcoins can get into the mainstream and we need to promote bitcoins in the positive way via internet or social media.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: November 05, 2015, 04:57:54 PM
My guess is 5 to 10 bitcoins. It will take a really long time before 1 bitcoin will be worth 1 mil

10 BTC is a really very good value to hold for the future as we believe that the value of bitcoins will reach the moon in coming years and if we talk about next 20 years then its too long to predict for, if we think of the short run like say next 5 to 10 years then I believe that it would definitely gain us profit out of it, So the picture would be very much clear in the next 5 years or so.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: November 05, 2015, 04:39:51 PM
lol that's impossible but work hard and you'll see results and save money don't spend it all

Work hard and act smart will serve the purpose and saving will play an key role in becoming rich in the future and if you are working then you would be having an fixed income so it is better to start your own business you can earn for yourself rather then earning for any company.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: November 05, 2015, 04:00:41 PM
i do not think we will see $200 let lone $100 in the future...
this week good week for btc!

Yeah the price reached almost $400 in the last week and it is a good sign for the bitcoin users so I don't think that it would fall to $100 in the coming months and we really don't want that it should reach to that value as it would be unprofitable for the many users of bitcoins but yes the people who wants to get into the bitcoins for the very first time would definitely prefer to buy bitcoins in bulk if the value goes to $100.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin will appreciate forever on: November 05, 2015, 03:56:13 PM
What if an alt-coin reaches the same adoption level as Bitcoin? Wouldn't that be seen as effectively increasing the total number of available coins, therefore devaluing BTC?
i do not think this will ever be possible. bitcoin have dev team better than any altcoin and is basis for most altcoins...it also achieve the best more than any altcoin can achieve without taking page from it book.
no altcoin that is same as bitcoin will beat bitcoin.

Exactly no other crypto currency can beat bitcoin as bitcoins is more popular then any other coins and people have more faith in bitcoins, and the adoption level of bitcoins is more as compared to altcoins, and investing in altcoins can be a risky decision to make and I generally prefer to convert my bitcoins to fiat currency which is very cheap time saving and reliable.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: The truth about the current bubble on: November 05, 2015, 03:48:21 PM
If this turns out to be a bubble, I really hope it will last for a long time. Currently +$400 is more than a decent price after being stuck at $240 for such a long time.

Yeah exactly we want this bubble to continue for a longer time, It was really exciting to see the value of bitcoins going high in last couple of weeks and I believe that the value will go much higher in coming months so at this stage I have sold a part of my bitcoins and made profit out of it and have kept rest for the future if the value reaches to the moon would surely sell some of it.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 05, 2015, 03:43:49 PM
Everyone who knows a bit about bitcoin will think to move to bitcoin.

By leaving gold and joining bitcoin as the price is really increasing too much and we should forget gold for now.

I don't think so, Gold is traditional and very popular as compared to bitcoins, bitcoin is just a new born baby if it is compared to gold. People have faith in gold as compared to bitcoins as they are using it since many years and generally people will not trust any crypto as there would be many new cryptos entering into the market in the coming future.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: What's The Best Currency To Invest In? on: November 05, 2015, 03:37:48 PM
Buy any good altcoin in the deep, because people will dump their coin just to convert to BTC

That could be the case for the time being. The bitcoin price is rising, the price of other coins is stable or drop slightly in fiat terms.

When bitcoin price is very high, people will find the cheap altcoins, they will buy the altcoin. During the last bubble, the litecoin price rose for $1 to $48.

Exactly, the price of bitcoin is rising continuously and that is the good sign for the bitcoin users and I would suggest to invest in bitcoins rather than investing into any fiat currency, investing in fiat would be the bad financial decision to make and the market cap of  bitcoins is increasing so it is better to invest in bitcoins.
