Hi guys, Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that. Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc??? Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins. cheers I prefer that you should focus on adding bitcoins since the growth today in the market is really good while other cryptocurrency are not doing well except ethereum because it has a potential to become the next bitcoins. |

As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. Ive seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Its opposite as of now, almost below expected. Is this the end for the digital currency?

I mean, is there an exact list of rules that could guarantee that someone who follows them will surely not become a victim of another ICO scam. Of course there are obvious rules like event participation, reputation of team members among ather prifessionals, approve by well-known advisors. But potential scammers also know all these criteria and know what to fake exactly. Is there a 'blockchain way' to create an algorithm, scheme or set of conditions allowing to recognise and ban scammers? Not government laws way which also good for the market in my opinion. Would be appreciate a link to an old thread, perhaps I just didn't find it. UPD Best Advices: - learn about previous ICO projects, select viable ones and participate similar ICOs

There is no way for us to avoid ico scam because they have a platform that is very promising to the eyes of other investors but sometimes if ico will pay a decent amount then managers will try to scam the participants as well. |

Well, if bitcoin falls to $ 3000. So you can buy more. I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.
Didn't we had enough of this?
Above all any other altcoins that is existing in the market, the best altcoin that is currently existing is ethereum because the prices has drastically increased to 1k dollar last january and it has a huge potential to replace bitcoins in the future. |

I am starting to loose hope in Bitcoin. Like really i need to cash out and for me its on its lowest... do not lose hope on cryptocurrency or bitcoins, the price is decreasing because the market is volatile, i think that you made a wrong decision where you invest a huge amount while the price is still high and in this way you will surely lose a huge amount of profit. |

So how come this will became a scam from the developer of the ethereum coin?Being the developer you can have the huge stocks of your coin which you can buy by your own on exchange of save after the crowdfunding this scene is normal he just really saved up that huge amount no scam at all
Yeah i agree to you, ethereum is not a scam you can call it as ponzi because the people behind those are not running an ico and they use ethereum as a concept of networking and not the actual marketing. |

It's a Very Struggling time for Cryptocurrencies. The Market Goes down approx 10 to 15 Percent. Bitcoin Drop down $7k, On the other Hand, Ethereum goes down $400.

The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically. Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in ICO's.
Yes i always believe on ico because not every campaign is a fraud and some of the altcoins does really have the potential to grow its value because they have great platform so you should not think that ico's today is a fail. |
