Question ... ? Is anyone having problems with cgminer 3.2.1 Icarus mining (Icarus, Lancelot or Erupter only) on anything OTHER than the RPi? I seem to have narrowed it down to possibly being a timer bug (happening inside libusb - so possibly a kernel problem) And if you are NOT having problems with 3.2.1 on RPi, could you tell me your kernel version? with uname -a Thanks!
I'm having problems with Erupters being constantly zombified and redetected (every 15 seconds or so) on a fairly modern Intel Atom "nettop" running Ubuntu 12.04 and a 3.x kernel, with cgminer 3.2.1. It may be USB 3.0 related, since I'm using an Anker hub, but the computer does have USB 3.0 support. Everything works fine under cgminer 3.1.1. EDIT: Kernel version is 3.2.0-45-generic #70-Ubuntu SMP, 64-bit, to be exact.

Indeed, on a SnowLeopard the N logo shows up for half a second, and then it "quits unexpectedly" with an Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000028 That's just a compilation problem, I think. Apparently there must be a makefile for the Mac somewhere? (I know, SnowLeopard is not relevant anymore. It's just I can't get hold of a Lion/MLion machine at the moment ) Yeah, unfortunately a lot changed in Lion with the introduction of the LLVM compiler and its libraries, and now it's hard to compile anything on Mountain Lion to be backward-compatible. Getting wallets compiling on a VM running Snow Leopard is definitely on my to-do list.

Aww, thats a bummer:( dont know who created that one, I suppose the devs.
Could you please compile the AnonCoin wallet for the mac?
Sure, I'll give it a try. I have a backlog of requests now, so it may take a few days. UPDATE: Added AnonCoin wallet, by request

Thanks for the list and ever growing number of mac wallets becoming available..I mean the mac kids want to play too! geeze =D
Happy I can help. These wallets are great for me too--the more I compile or find, the less often I have to run Parallels to get at my coins!

Purchased two from kosmokramer and got them in perfect condition two days after I ordered them. Also, most entertaining packaging ever. Great seller!

I have a problem with cgminer on my usb erupter. 3.1.1 works fine, but 3.2.1 gives me this never ending series of errors:
[2013-06-08 19:38:12] USB init open device failed, err -3, you dont have priviledge to access - AMU device 1:9 [2013-06-08 19:38:12] Icarus detect (1:9) failed to initialise (incorrect device?) The only usb connected mining hardware is the AsicMiner usb Erupter. I set the same permissions on both 3.1.1 and 3.2.1:
-rwxr-sr-x 1 andrea dialout 304853 May 24 09:46 cgminer-3.1.1/cgminer -rwxr-sr-x 1 andrea dialout 1160140 Jun 8 19:35 cgminer-3.2.1/cgminer
Running debian 7.0.
cgminer compiled with ./configure --enable-icarus --enable-bflsc --disable-opencl

Configuration Options Summary:

Try running cgminer with sudo. Normal users generally don't have the right permissions to access raw USB devices. There are some notes about this in the 3.2.1 README.

Could you compile a memecoin mac wallet?
Sure, I'll take a look at it when I have a free moment. Alright, would love to have that one compiled, as many users with me!:D I took a look at the MEMEcoin source code from Github, but it doesn't actually contain any GUI code, just the memecoind daemon. The Windows QT wallet must have been compiled from a different source tree. Any idea who built the Windows version?

My miner arrived too, and is busily hashing away. Looking forward to my group buy #4 shipment so it won't be so lonely. Leaving positive trust.

UPDATE: Added a GameCoin wallet compile. This one includes the recent hard fork code.

I built the Litecoin Mac client.
Thanks! I fixed the OP to reflect that.

Ok. Thank u for the information. I maybe have to buy myself an new mac then. Now i have an excuse Do you know if Worldcoin.in itself is planning on producing a wallet for mac? No idea! Based on this thread and some others I've been participating in, I don't think there's a lot of demand for Mac wallets--but on the other hand, I've found quite a few of them "in the wild."

Yes i get the report to Apple dialog.
I currently have OS X Versj. 10.5.8
The problem may be that these wallets (or at least the ones I've compiled) were compiled with OS X 10.8.3. They may have ended up with dependencies that aren't available in versions of OS X 10.7 (when a lot of things changed internally). jrlepage and some of the other people writing wallets are compiling them on version 10.6.x, so those wallets might work better on older versions of OS X. I'm going to add an annotation to the OP that my wallets may not work on older versions of OS X. In the future, I'd like to see if I can get version 10.6 working in a virtual machine so I can create wallets that work with a wider variety of machines.

It seems to work for most people. I've heard a couple of crash reports, but haven't been able to reproduce them. Most of the altcoin wallets look and act pretty similar to the Bitcoin and Litecoin wallets.
I tried downloading it, that worked fine but when i try to open it it closes right away. Any tips? Edit: I am no IT guy btw. ) [/quote] What version of Mac OS X are you running? Also, do you get the "Report to Apple" dialog when it crashes?

Thank you for the Worldcoin wallet!!!
Does it work. Is it anything like bitcoin/litecoin wallets? It seems to work for most people. I've heard a couple of crash reports, but haven't been able to reproduce them. Most of the altcoin wallets look and act pretty similar to the Bitcoin and Litecoin wallets.
