321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 07:07:22 AM
My plan is to invest around 70% of my bitcoin in some other bitcoin related projects and the rest will be converted to fiat. Why did I convert the rest?, its for my transactions outside the cryptoworld. Here in my country, bitcoin is not yet well known so I cant use bitcoin to transact with just anyone, it would be good if the whole country would accept bitcoin as payment, but the problem is, they're not yet accepting bitcoin. Maybe a few years more, and I won't be needing to convert my bitcoin to fiat.

That's a actually a good plan of yours mate. May I suggest? Maybe you can save 10% out of your 30% remaining just for emergency purposes. I'm going to invest also 70% of my bitcoin and 10% savings for emergency purposes and the 20% will be converted into fiat for my daily necessities.
322  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: October 02, 2017, 01:54:51 PM
Depends on the happy couple, if they don't use bitcoins, it's useless giving them bitcoins.

Like giving a car, to someone who doesn't know or want to drive.
Yeah, it really depends on the couple. What if you gave them any amount of btc and they don't know anything about it. They can't appreciate your gift because they don't know its value. They have to learn about it first so they can use your gift. Not all the people are interested in it. For me, I'm not gonna give bitcoin as a wedding gift, but instead I'm going to give them something that I think they would like it. Like I'm going to give the bride an expensive bag.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: October 02, 2017, 01:11:52 PM
Bitcoin is not dead. Even if it drastically drops, it doesn't mean that it will be dead. Bitcoin recovers it price after how many weeks or months. When the price drops, most of the people who uses bitcoin keeps on supporting it, so how come it is dead? As long as there is still strong demand and supply, bitcoin will never be dead.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: October 01, 2017, 03:34:15 PM
Investing is always better for long term, but if you're asking which one is better for short term then I will say trading.
Even though trading is a bit riskier, you will earn money faster between dips and pump than overall growth that investing will achieve.
Long term = investing
Short term = trading
I'll also go for trading. You can earn way more faster in trading rather than investing.
Trading is more risky than investing and trading requires analytical skills and knowledge. In investment, you don't really need specific skills because you'll just have to find where to invest your money. Investing is like thinking about your future while trading is like meeting your daily needs.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: October 01, 2017, 03:09:29 PM
No it's not. You can't considered trading as gambling, it's not the same. You basically use your skills and knowledge in trading. You have the the ability to predict the price in the market. Gambling on the other hand is purely based on luck. You can't predict what will be the outcome when you gamble.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 01, 2017, 02:45:46 PM
Bitcoin helps reduce unemployment by making a lot of  people financially independent. It provides an alternative way to have an income. It gives an opportunities to unemployed people by participating in signature campaigns, or by trading and investment and etc. However, it that doesn't change the fact that there will still be a lot of unemployed people.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: October 01, 2017, 02:11:42 PM
Gambling is not a profitable activity, it is a just for entertainment purposes wherein we gamble just to have fun. We can't always win when we gamble, so it doesn't make it profitable. I guess you may invest in gamling for you to have a profit.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: October 01, 2017, 06:27:35 AM
Bitcoin is not made for kids, it is made for investors and traders and also for us that need extra income to support our daily needs. It is not necessary to teach the kids about bitcoin,Kids need to be comfortable, entertained and learning. We should not explain to them about bitcoin,it just wasted our time and wasted their time. Until the kids are interested in Bitcoin, we will explain and talk to them about it.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 01, 2017, 05:47:20 AM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

Absolutely no, Banks definitely will change themselves but they will never dissappear on the surface of earth. I think banks will turn into bitcoin banks in the far future because bitcoin will be the most important stuff in near future.
I think it is impossible for the bitcoin to change into a bank or replace the bank.Because many people use bitcoin for earning purposes and after earnings they sell bitcoin and it will transact in  a bank so this is only the thing of bank money system. We are also can assure that our money in a bank will not get loss easily.
330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 01, 2017, 05:06:31 AM
I will invest but i start on small profit on casino rather playing or gambling here in casino. There is no fun on investing with them because the percentage you will get is quiet low compared if you are the owner of the casino, But if in terms of long term investment, Then that will be the right choice to join them. It is just like you are lending your bitcoins here in casino and that is good because you in favor because you are with the house edge.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 30, 2017, 04:35:21 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
Gold and bitcoin is same but for me bitcoin is the best becuase as you see many investor investing in bitcoin so thats why the value of bitcoin rapidly increasing and bitcoin you can use this to transact to others.
Gold has proven its worth for how many centuries. It is the most reliable way of investing and has more stable price than bitcoin. It has been warmly accepted in the whole world for how many years. Bitcoin on the other hand is still gaining its popularity. Both has its advantages and disadvantages. But for me, I still go for bitcoin. I can't afford to buy gold but in bitcoin, I can earn it without spending my money.

332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: September 29, 2017, 09:42:44 AM
For now i still store bitcoins in online wallets and exchange sites, but until now i've never had a problem with all those services. I keep it on the exchange site because to facilitate me in trading transactions with altcoin.
I also store my bitcoin in an online wallet and I don't also encountered any problem on it. For me, it's so legit that I don't have to worry and I can easily convert my btc into fiat. And I can easily pay my bills using that wallet. Anyway, I guess it's more secure when your wallet is 2fa supported.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: September 27, 2017, 08:50:48 AM
Anyone can use bitcoin as long as they're:
1.computer literate
2.understand at least basic english language
3.knowledgeable about bitcoin or if not, at least eager to learn
4.being open minded for any possibilities to happen
5.PATIENCE

It's just my opinion. Bitcoin has no qualifications. It's just you need to consider some factors before starting off in bitcoin.
334  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: September 27, 2017, 06:15:28 AM
Definitely no! I don’t think I’m addicted in gambling because I seldom gamble. I just gamble when I have extra money. I just spend few dollars in gambling because I don’t wanna feel depressed if I lose. I just gamble trying to think that maybe it’s my lucky day today. And if I lose, it’s fine with me. I don’t feel any needs to gamble more because I always put limitation to myself.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: September 27, 2017, 05:48:04 AM
It's very easy to answer of course all gamblers will happy
If they win big amount at their gambling activity
I am sure all gamblers will come back again to gambling their winning
You'll feel overjoyed because of  your winnings. And that will make you to gamble more because you want to feel the pleasure of winning. And at the end of the day, the pleasure you've felt when you win will turn to depression. The more you gamble, the more chances of losing your money. You can't always win in gambling but actually you always lose.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 26, 2017, 05:20:37 PM
If I have a lot of bitcoins I will save some of it for future purposes and spend some of it.

Spending your Bitcoin even if at once is never a wise decision because you'll never know what value it will hold in the future. If you can still manage to hold it, you should do it. Holding it for another years will save you from losing your money. Try holding it because for sure, bitcoin's price will increase in the next few years.

337  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: September 26, 2017, 04:45:23 PM
Bitcoin is not yet international currency but it is soon to be. Maybe the legalities of bitcoin is not yet maximized but we can see more and more improvements in bitcoin that will help itself to have a great future and great reputation so the countries will don't hesitate for bitcoin to legalize it and make it as a full international currency.
I would love it to happen also. People were widely accepting Bitcoin and there's a lot of users in Bitcoin in most of the countries. And as long as there is an improvement on a daily basis for Bitcoin, it will have potential to become the international currency.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 26, 2017, 03:53:13 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
If you are going to base your answer on what society says nowadays, then it is yes. Money is one of the important thing in every individual's life. It is the thing that helps them survive their everyday struggle. Having a lot of money should not be a license for you to disrespect other people, instead you should just be humble and grateful with the things that you have on your hand right now. It can be taken to you instantly and if you're rude, you may end up isolated from help.

Yeah,we should be greatful with the things that we have  now.Money is important in our lives but it's not above all things. Yes we need money for our daily needs but we needed more our family. Family and God should comes first. Although nowadays almost everything requires money, but it can never buy happiness.

339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: September 26, 2017, 09:24:20 AM
Gambling can't help in your life. Gambling is up to luck, and that nothing you can do to create or prevent the outcome. When you win, you wanted to feel the feeling of winning and when you lose, you don’t want to walk away with less, so you keep playing hoping that you'll get lucky and get back all the money you’ve lose.  And that would end up losing all your money and ruin your life. It will only make your life miserable.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: September 26, 2017, 07:25:38 AM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
They are both risky actually, but gambling is much more riskier than investing. Because in gambling once you become greed you there is a big chances for you to encounter losses of money unlike in investing anyhow you can maximize your risk average.
Yes, they’re both risky. In gambling, once lose you will have hard time to get back all the money you’ve lose. Gambling is a no-win venture, and not at all comparable to investing. You can earn good profit without doing anything in investing.
