The difference of 13 points is already in their hands, now it's just how they can maintain what they have held today. Obviously it won't be easy to get the 13 point difference that Napoli now have, and they can get it. It will be impossible to end in a disappointment,the reason being that in Serie A it is very difficult for a team from the ones following that lack complete consistency during this season to start and become aggressive during the final phase of the tournament,it simply does not work like that.Napoli is in a very comfortable position and for me they are already Champions of Serie A seeing the other teams who are "contending" for the title are not capable of being consistent to win game after game and as such they should completely change focus to the Champions League in order to try and give what their fans a glorious time even outside Italy. When we reflect on the previous several seasons, it was a little difficult to overtake Napoli at this time no matter what, but on the other hand, we also can't make it seem like this belongs to Napoli, because we also know that last season, Inter had excelled in half of the season, even up to 10 points if I'm not mistaken but it didn't hold up well and it could be like this this season as well because we still don't know what will happen even though Napoli are so superior at the moment. But the hope is clear actually to Napoli now hopefully they can make this chance a scudetto for them. Napoli this year remind me of arsenal, they don't really have many great players on the field but their determination will surely lead them to get the title both, it's true the gap isn't very big considering that we still have big number of matches to play but i always feel Napoli players aren't ready to waste this great opportunity to get back to the titles |

After the draw in the first half, Real Madrid started the second half the best way ever by scoring 2 goals in the first 10 minutes by asencio and vini junior, that will be a very important 3 points for Madrid that will help them staying in the race for liga and Keep the gap at 5 points, it's already a large gap but i believe it's not impossible for real Madrid to catch Barcelona

Everton will need some time to create a solid bond with their new manager, Sean Dyche. In the meantime they might still have some problems on winning matches comfortably. For example their next match is one of the most difficult fixtures of the season. No matter they are going to play in Goodison Park they are still highly the underdog there. They have good players in the squad as long as Dyche figures out how he can benefit from them as effective as possible.
Meanwhile Arsenal are trying hard to reach the Premier League title this season. They have a safe gap with Manchester City and this is likely to get bigger if they win their missing match as well. But they don't have the luxury of being complacent even a bit. I expect them to perform strongly here and beat Everton.
That's right, their mission in the next matches will be very defficult as they will play against arsenal and Liverpool in a row, this may make their situation more complicated but they still have time to recover because the defferent between them and the other clubs is not big, only 3 points between them and the 15th Leicester so i think it's early to determine if they will get relegated or not |

I would guess that if PSG wasn't this good, the league would not be even at fifth position right now. Imagine it, if PSG was as good as Lyon or Lille or something like that, and every other team is the same exact level, would this league be any good? I would say they would be pretty lower level, they would be at the levels of Portugal or Dutch leagues basically, not talked about with the big leagues.
Now, thanks to PSG they have a team that could potentially win the UCL, not saying they will, but that's what they are aiming at at least. This is why it's not that much fun to watch the league when PSG wins nor when they lose, it's both quite boring to see in the end.
They have that as an objective from quite some time now,they are fighting many years to win the Champions League yet they are being eliminated year after year from a different team from another major league,like Spain and England most of the cases. They sure have great quality players like having for me the best midfielder and attacker like Messi and Neymar and these names only are scary enough to scare any opponent yet in the Champions League it is not working.PSG sure adds to Ligue 1 but does not make it better to watch than the Dutch league for example,for me Ajax vs Psv or Ajax vs Feyenoord games are better than any PSG game against Lens or Marseille or Lille. Psg this year is a very defferent team regardless the bad results that they having right now, but i can feel that this team can beat any oppenet and they will surely fight hard for the title to break the curse and bring the UCL to france, what happening to them in the league 1 will not have big affect on their preformence in the champoins league in my opinion |

after officially getting juranovavic, laidouni and roussillon, union berlin still wanted isco but unfortunately he failed to pass union berlin medical test thus making his recruitment to union berlin fail. A good game seems to be shown again by Union Berlin. that's good, now the standings for the top 6 are at least very competitive. and if this can go on until near the end of the season. we will be really surprised to see the Bundesliga champions. are they the same, or is it from an old player who will lift the trophy?
Munich had struggled to get back to their game before the break at the end of last year. and now they should be able to keep their game.
well, i'm really surprised to see how competitive the Bundesliga is this season, Union Berlin, which had fallen to 5th place, but has bounced back and only has 1 point difference with Bayern at this time. bayern is still struggling, this moment is a good opportunity for union berlin to shift Bayern again. It's not surprising because Union Berlin continues to get its wins, while Bayern Munich often get draws in previous matches. But indeed this is much better because the Bundesliga will be more competitive seeing competition between teams and not only being dominated by 1 club like Bayern Munich. Inter already kicked Atalanta out of the Coppa Italia, they won 1-0 thanks to Darmian goal in the second half. Fiorentina - Torino and Roma - Cremonese will play in less than 24 hours and Thursday we will have a more interesting game between Juventus - Lazio. Roma to pass tho. Fiorentina - Torino, not sure since Torino has always some surprising results but I think Fiorentina is favourite here. Same thing for Juve, their results are random especially lately, I believe they will play better here than Serie A since they will try to grab something this season.. I believe Juventus will win their game against Lazio, this team is really suffering in the serie A and they already lost all hope for a good position so they will put all their efforts on this match to at least keep fighting for coppa Italy trophy |

Real madrid as a team needs to do more in other to remain relevant in the race for superiority in the laliga, they have been inconsistent in their winning, playing draw in the Copa de Rey with Real Sociedad is not what was expected of a world professional team like Real Madrid they hurt the anticipation of many bettors and fans, they have to do something fast in other to right their wrongs for a good result.
Real Madrid got a draw vs Real Sociedad in La Liga and not in Copa del Rey. Well in both cases, this is beyond the expectation from Real Madrid.. They will play this Thursday vs Valencia which just sacked their coach Gattuso. Dunno if that was the best move to do, 2 days before the match against Real Madrid! I assume they aren't counting on that match a lot and they are feeling safe from dropping to the relegation zone since the teams there have difficult games too Valencia will be a hard oppenet for real Madrid for sure, they will surely not let real Madrid get the 3 points easily because they also need to get at least one point and make themselves away from the relegation zone, real Madrid should definitely win this match otherwise la Liga title will be really hard for them |

And now the ones who have to fight through difficult times are Chelsea and Liverpool. these two teams now have to struggle to go through the same process as Arsenal in past years. But everyone's expectations are of course expecting the team they like to recover quickly. and that's normal. so it's no wonder that many blues fans will expect Chelsea to recover to their best form quickly.
Arsenal haven't won the EPL since 2004, that is about 19 years or so ago, Liverpool didn't win the EPL for 30 years before Klopp guided them to the title and some successful years of recent, whilst Chelsea have been a very successful team in the last decade and a little more, thus comparing Arsenal's woes/wait for another EPL title with Chelsea and Liverpool's dip in form this season is pretty unfair. Having said that, the season is far from over, thus Liverpool and Chelsea could still finish on a high note, not that i expect them to win the EPL title, but they could bounce back and finish the season in a much better way. I don't expect them to stay down for quite a long time, if it doesn't happen this season, then it will next season, Chelsea are currently undergoing an overhaul of their team, and Liverpool are expected to acquire quite a lot of players in the summer, thus i guess the future is bright. Arsenal have gone a long time without lifting the Premier league title, 19 years is a very long time without an EPL trophy so winning it this season will be like a blessing to the club but the season is still long and it is advisable to take it one game at a time, maintaining the good team spirit and staying consistent for the rest of the season. Arsenal are leading the league halfway into the season, at this point top four seems sure already and I understand if Arteta decides to focus all the energy and strength in the league. i think arsenal wont be looking to focus their energy elsewhere because as you have already stated above that this is a golden opportunity for them to secure the league title which have lacked them for a long period of 19years. But the only problem now is if they can withstand the pressure of the Manchester City team who is famous for winning the tittle in this kind of situations. Arsenal are currently leading but they know that Manchester City is red hot on their tall so winning of games will be very crucial even if it's a one nil Victory and arteta should try and strengthen the team by signing players that would improve the activeness of their current winning form because they need to be in their best to win the English title. That's very true, arsenal should definitely get the maximum number of points from their next matches to at least keep the gap at 8 points, Manchester city team is very strong and can really turn the table on arsenal but also arteta squad are very determined to win the title this year and break the curse |

Napoli are currently destroying every competitor they have. Lastly they did the same to Roma. I can't say that the score was a very comfortable one. But their game was such a positive and effective one that they could have won the game by a bigger goal difference also. This is creating a situation like Napoli will be highly favoured against Frankfurt in their draw in the Champions League. Napoli are actually already just like that according to bookies. But it is just different for the first leg.
I mean Napoli are still favourite for the win in this leg also but the odds are quite close to each other. There is a high expectation of a competitive game in Frankfurt. Frankfurt are also impressive even if they aren't as much as Napoli. Lastly they got one point from Bayern Munich away and they haven't lost a league game for a long time. Maybe they might really be a challenge for Napoli in the first leg.

Villarreal could not continue their good trend, tonight they can stopped by Rayo Vallecano with score 0-1, although they have tried several opportunities. But I think Villarreal position in the standings may still be safe for a while because Real Betis will against Barcelona at the Benito Villamarín, it also seems likely that Real Betis will find it difficult to get points in that match although at home.
Villarreal wasted 3 precious points and it is quite good to see Rayo Vallecano improving comparing to the previous season and winning vs hard opponents. I must sincerely say that arsenal is really doing great despite their recent 1:0 loss to Manchester city, Arsenal has proven to be good this season, Arsenal really deserve the league this time but the really need to work harder in other to achieve it.
The lose against city was in the FA cup and it have nothing to do with the EPL, arsenal team will surely not give up the premier league dream easily and they will fight to the last minute and if city want to keep the title in Manchester they need a very hard work and they must get the maximum number of points in the next matches Indeed, the defeat in FA Cup has nothing to do with EPL which is the main objective of Arsenal since the beginning of the season. No need to say that they will keep their good record in EPL intact and will win vs Everton in their home. The odds are way in favour of Arsenal obviously. Everton preformence this year is catastrophic and the ods are very logic in my opinion, arsenal must not show mercy on theme and must profit from their situation to get another 3 points that will be very important for them, especially because city will play against Tottenham and they may not win on this match so it will be a great opportunity for arsenal to extend the gap |

~ I saw the frustration on the face of Christophe Galtier, he needs to be careful when they meet Bayern Munich on February 14. His job depends more on the club's Champions League performance. I wouldn't agree more. PSG results in Ligue 1 are normal but quite frustrating since Lens and Marseille are close to them. Losing Ligue 1 title might end his carrier with the team and I am almost sure he will not continue with them next year if he lose in Champions League games against Bayern. The ridiculous point is that both teams are wasting victories vs easier teams in their domestic league... It seems Bayern Munich losing focus that is why their performance is not coming out best in their games. I feel what Bayern Munich is fighting for is to win the Champions League , this is their main target. Bayern Munich has always been winning the Bundesliga, maybe they just need something new.
Bayern Munich is very strange because in their last three matches they have only got a draw, whereas if it is like that then Union Berlin and several other clubs will take their position because the distance between first and second positions is currently very thin. Bayern Munich must win in the next match so that its position is still at the top of the standings. Neither Milan nor Juventus are credible at the moment. Both of them are having serious problems with defending. Their latest games ended up with terrible results. Milan's chance of qualifying for the Champions League can also be under danger as long as they don't make an improvement in their defense line. They were a team that were in the title race before but now they are even worse than a couple of big teams in the league now.
AC Milan can't seem to qualify for the UCL this season if all of last match they ger another lost. Their performance is much lower than last season. With a player formation that hasn't changed much, Milan failed to play as epic as last season. Lazio and Atalanta who have the potential to qualify will pursue positions 3-4. Agreed, I consider the results from two matches as the most important matches to determine whether ac milan would still be able to qualify for the champion league or not. It can be said that ac milan's position is always going down from the top. intermilan may a bit better but it seems we have new teams like lazio and atalanta that potentially go to the UCL next season. Ac milan may face another lose for sure in upcoming match. The performance from ac milan looks so horrible at the end of season. Napoli is still very consistent at this moment. There is only 2 points Gap between inter and milan, it's really not The right time to determine whatever milan will qualify to the champoins league or not but yesterday defeat was catastrophic for milan, encasing 5 goals in san siro from a team who didn't win for almost 10 rounds is really not expected and they should find the reason and solve it |

Villarreal - Vallecano game wasn't a very impressive one. Both teams were quite bad at finding the target but I was still hoping to see Villarreal making it to the win. But Vallecano scored in the 70th minute surprisingly and managed to keep the score until the end. This was indeed an unexpected loss by Villarreal. They should have been more effective while they had Moreno especially.
I don't understand Villarreal really. They beat Real Madrid before by a really decent performance. But they are getting a result like this now. They are such an unbalanced team.

I was saddened by Liverpool's loss among all the clubs. The fact that Brentford defeated Liverpool 3—despite Liverpool having a greater advantage in terms of ball possession (73% to Brentford's 16 goal attempts), I still find it hard to believe. As a result, the Premier League's games are getting more unpredictable and exciting. love the way the games are going.
Last season they were even able to finish in second place with 92 points, I also feel sad about their current condition. All of this happened after they bought Darwin Nunez, I think he's one of the few people to blame. I hope that Klopp will make a new regular line-up in the next game for experimental purposes. If they can improve their condition starting the next match, I still believe that they can still be in the top 3 of the EPL standings. We can't blame just one player about the situation of Liverpool this year, it's true that Darwin nunez is not doing really good but i believe the whole club is having a sort of lack of confidence, they lost almost everything this year and they should already start thinking about how to solve all their problems for the next year |
